Not often do I leave a review, but we had such a positive experience with Food by Sean No600! We had booked an afternoon tea for a small baby shower for a friend, but due to unforeseen circumstances at the last minute our friend wasn’t able to make it. We asked if it were possible for us to pick up the food in order to take it to our friend, and they were more than happy to make it possible. The staff went above and beyond - the food was neatly packed, they had provided instructions on temperatures and times needed to warm up the food, and the food was delicious! As a result, we were still able to host the baby shower for our friend in the comforts of her home - we cannot thank the staff enough! We also loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant when we called to pick up the food - the interior was so lovely! We’re definitely keen to call back to dine at the restaurant. Thank you again!

The food was really lovely daughter loved their scrambled eggs (really fussy) it was spotlessly clean and workers were really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

Kids sausage were cremated, but the adult food was very good portions and quality. Don't come on a Saturday 1pm unless your not in a rush. Utter chaos "do i order at the till or at the table" small print on menu says at table

Called in this afternoon for a light lunch ,got there and ordered by 1.20, very busy so expected to wait a while ,but then noticed that 3 other tables who had ordered after us had received their food ,so asked when our food be ready and we're told that we were next and their explanation for the other tables had their food before us was that their orders were exactly the same food. It was now 2 o'clock, by 2.20 we gave up waiting, went up to the counter to pay for our drinks and then leave, we were told that if we waited 5 mins we could have our food as a takeaway, which was ridiculous, don't expect to wait an hour for a jacket potato and cheese on toast. It is a shame really as the food looked very good, but the waiting time is totally unacceptable

Bought a flapjack and blondie which cost £8.25 to take away. They are so sweet that we haven't been able to eat them. For the price they charge it is very disappointing. Will not be going back.

It’s small and perfectly formed! The food was beautiful and reasonably priced, perfect portions too! Beautiful decor and ambiance, with incredibly hardworking, pleasant staff. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit! Check it out, you won’t be disappointed! 🫶🏼

Swung by here as a bit of a random find on Apple Maps. Fantastic food. And I mean *really* fantastic. I had a delicious eggs florentine, garnished beautifully with pea shoots and flowers. My son had the most enormous hotdog and perfect fries. Will definitely visit again next time I am in Swansea. As an extra plus, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

Relaxed, lovely country style interior with friendly atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Location is great as it’s just beside my office. The breakfast was the most tasty breakfast I have ever had. Awesome!

Not going to lie the food is really nice . But me and wife have been twice now and both times after ordering food they tell us 10 mins after that they have no food and waiting for delivery but we have all ready started are drinks. And then ended up waiting 50 mins for delivery then 10 mins for food . Probably won't go again wasn't offered anything for the wait . But again the food is nice you won't be disappointed there .

Made our first ever visit her for the Harry Potter afternoon tea. The place was wonderfully decorated with all things Harry Potter! However, we were waiting 30 minuets before we were served and when we were, had a big cake stand placed in the middle of a tiny table. We couldn't see each other! We felt very rushed and felt we didn't have time to enjoy the experience as we were reminded at 3:05 that the table was needed back by 3:30pm. We hadn't eaten much by this point so felt we had to rush. Food was quite nice. Cheese broom was a little hard as was left under the heat lamps, but overall nice experience.

We have the regular breakfast which is really tasty and a good size breakfast to start the day off. I have recommended Food by Sean to lots of people and we will carry on going there.

Very slow service took more than 30 minutes for a breakfast for 3 people,eggs under cooked bacon ok normal toast when it said chunky tea was extra £15 won’t be getting my breakfast in there again,sorry guys you need to speed up some of use only get 30 minutes breaks .

The food is delicious, the staff are super friendly and I enjoy visiting on my lunch. Nothing is ever too much of an issue.

I suggested going here having been recommended by another friend. We arrived at 10.30. It wasn’t very busy, several tables were empty. We sat down at a table , but no one acknowledged us, and after 10 mins we asked if we had to go to the counter, as no one had taken our order, and the waitress then came to take it. We ordered 2 small breakfasts and a pot of tea. The pot of tea arrived quite soon, but unfortunately our breakfasts didn’t . 35 mins later I asked if we’d been forgotten and the waitress said 5 mins more. Our breakfasts eventually arrived.. The breakfast wasn’t very hot, but the sausage and bacon were good quality and hash brown was nice, however, my poached egg was like a bullet! I didn’t say anything as goodness knows how long I’d have waited for another! I was asked at the till if all had been ok, and I mentioned my egg then. The waiter said he’d pass my comments to the chefs. It wasn’t cheap, at £27 for 2 small breakfasts and 2 pots of tea. ( we had finished the first before the breakfast arrived) I’m not sure if I’d risk going again

Very disappointed having gone here due to the reviews. When we arrived we waited 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered our coffee and tea for 3 of us alongside 3 big breakfast. There were a few items in the breakfast we did not like so removed and no offer made for an alternative. The tea and coffee arrived quickly but we waited 50 minutes for the breakfast to arrive. Only having a member of staff come and tell us after 45 minutes of waiting that the chef had to go out to get food. Once our breakfast did arrive there were missing items. The food was really nice and presented well. However, we paid £42 for 3 breakfast and tea and coffee. And 2 of us left feeling like we could still eat a lot more. I cannot believe we were not offered any free refills or discount due to the waiting time. I would recommend to the owner that in future if there is going to be along wait advise the customer and allow them the choice to wait or leave. If you are going to charge double the price to other establishments in the area then your service needs to improve. I would also recommend in future that if you have a delay you offer some kind of compensation like free tea and coffee or 10% discount. Unfortunately we will not be returning as believe there are better options in the area at a lower cost.

A lovely restaurant with amazing food. Pie was so tasty served with mash and minted mushy peas. The chunky soup was beautiful. Plenty of desserts.service was fab. A visit is a must u won't b disappointed.

Very cosy setting with beautiful decor. Today I had a halloumi bagel, and fries on the side which was lovely. From memory, the pancakes with Nutella were particularly delicious. My waiter advised there'd be about 10 minutes wait -and this was quite good for my expectation considering I had come in to grab a bite during work break. Will definitely be going again.

Wonderful full breakfast after perusing a lovely menu. Staff, all very attentive and friendly, even providing our little dog with a freshly cooked sausage. 10/10

Called in after seeing reviews on Google maps. Don't be put off by the industrial estate location. Had a brunch of eggs Benedict and pots of tea. Food and service was great, and the full breakfasts looked lovely with tomatoes on the vine. Will definitely call again. Very highly recommended.

Heard about this place just this week and had to try !!!! What a wonderful surprise and the food is amazing, as are the staff !!!!! A shout out to Nicole our server . All around the best place in Swansea for foodies .

With the catering vans parked up outside on the small industrial estate you would be forgiven if you didn’t take a second look but following a recommendation we called in for lunch. Staff were polite and helpful, menu was not extensive but we all had what we wanted and was ideal for the size of venue. I had avocado on sourdough with two of the most perfect poached eggs I have ever eaten. Will recommend to others.

The breakfast was excellent with good quality bacon and sausage, the hash browns were stunning and all served with thick chunky toast. Well worth a visit. Staff were very welcoming and obliging. I'd definitely go again.

Food was amazing. 10/10 for my beef and cheddar sandwich. Coleslaw was the best I have ever tasted. 10/10 for the strawberry milkshake. Lastly 10/10 forms dessert. Can't remember it's name but it looked like a huge chocolate profiterole but inside was a chocolate panatone... it was so light and tasty. Keep doing what you are doing x

We had a takeaway Christmas Afternoon tea mid December and that that would be hard to beat. Today we decided to visit for lunch, and wow! It was absolutely amazing. We had Cawl in a Cob and the Reuben Sandwich, the food was fresh, tasty and the portions were huge! Charlene & Daniel were fantastic, they were polite, friendly and the service was exceptional! We would definitely recommend a visit. We will most certainly be returning, especially after hubby spotted the American Hotdog that someone else had ordered! Looking forward to our next visit!

Called in as we were in the area. I had the eggs benny ...WOW it was lovely and the very best poached eggs I've ever had. The cafe was busy an obvious sign that it's a popular place. A huge shout out to Daniel,Charlene and Sam the chef for excellent service and outstanding food . Took home 3 shortbread cream and jam stacked biscuits 😋 👌 I've now visited the 3 Food by Sean places and I've nothing but praise for the whole outfit A definite 5 Stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 from me

I went there for lunch yesterday and it was heaving, great vibes though. I decided to have the Cawl, lordy, lordy when it arrived it was huge came in a welled out round loaf and when I opened the lid it had loads of melted cheese ontop of the soup. Charlene assisted me with my choice and service. I gotta say she was so knowledgeable about everything the food, the different venus by Sean that I couldn't have had a better experience..Well done to you 👌

Visited with my sister for a catch up and breakfast/brunch. My 1st time there and was not disappointed. Ordered the Avo Sour and it was delicious. Poached eggs cooked to perfection. Coffee was excellent too. Friendly , helpful service. Will definitely visit again

We've been there several times and had lovely food but yesterday was very disappointing. My husband had the festive burger which he really enjoyed, I ordered a Christmas pie which was unavailble, so had the 'Christmas Slice' instead which was really nothing different to what I could have had at Gregg's. Certainly not homemade. It was served with sprouts, mashed potato and gravy and the whole meal was barely lukewarm. An employee on her way out spotted that I hadn't eaten it and took it back to the kitchen. She did ask if I wanted anything else, but I didn't, so she didn't charge me for the meal. All very sad to be honest as it was our go-to place when we were shopping in Llansamlet. We won't be going back anytime soon.

First time coming here after hearing and seeing good things and I was not disappointed. Service was on the slower side due to a last minute shortage of staff which happens but they were very apologetic and did make up for it which was good. Great selection of breakfast/brunch and coffees. The whole menu looks lovely. I would definitely come back again.

Tucked away in the industrial estate but worthy of a visit by all, this was a little gem. A late delivery of fresh produce meant the kitchen was delayed in food prep, but the chef and staff overcame these difficulties admirably and honestly and it was no hardship to wait a little while, enjoying a complimentary pot of tea for two. The Mediterranean breakfast was superb and a wonderfully fresh tasting and healthy change from the norm. My wife had the coconut milk porridge which she deemed as excellent and we both left satisfied and content and happy to come again soon.

As usual the food was exemplary apart from a few too many tomatoes on my plate but that’s just personal preference. I had dropped my car off for a service nearby and walked. It was pouring with rain so although I was ten minutes before they opened I could see that the waitress was there and the door was open. I was left speechless when she told me that I would have to wait the ten minutes outside in the rain. So I hung about outside hoping she’d take pity on me and allow me in just to have a seat and dry off but no such luck. Though she was good enough to call me over when they were fully open. I have to say that out a real dampener on my little treat to myself. I hope that next time someone is a little early they use a bit of discretion and let them take a seat and warm up.

Had brunch and the food was fabulous.

My sister-in-law hired a grazing table to be set up at my house at the beginning of September for a baby shower. The food itself was outstanding and that in itself I recommend, however be very careful if hiring for a grazing table at home. The table was stunning at set up, but for some unknown reason the beetroot was placed directly on to a small piece of greaseproof paper, which then leaked on to my handmade wooden table, which was ruined. Communication between myself and whoever runs the Facebook social media, who was sometimes Nicola and sometimes not, was awful. I stayed in for 3 consecutive evenings waiting for a collection of the props left behind. I informed the gentlemen who eventually collected the props about the staining issue and was told Nicola would contact me, which did not happen. I then messaged the FB page again explaining what happened, which began a month long exchange of being told I would be called, and that a carpenter would be contacted to fix the issue which I kept chasing up but nothing ever really happened. Eventually I told Nicola not to bother as I no longer had faith that the company could actually fix the issue. I was very sorry to hear Nicola was unwell and that mat have been the cause of a brief part of the communication lapse, however the poor communication was from the get-go, before she was poorly. Again, the food was incredible, but maybe its best popping in to the restaurant rather than have a grazing table at home.

I’d anyone says they’ve had a bad experience here then they must have gone next door!!! Epic isn’t the word. We are regulars and try all elements of the menu. I’m a pescatarian and they swap the dishes to accommodate and never an issue! Specials today - pic attached! As we Welsh like to say “cowin lysh myn!”. And it was. When your biggest regret is not ordering 2 portions - says it all!!! Diolch chaps I’ll be back 😎🫡

Ordered 2 FB breakfasts, a latte & a mocha totalling just under £30. The poached eggs were hard even though I asked specifically for soft yolks and they tasted of vinegar, the beans were cheap and horrible & the massive slabs of toast came unbuttered...

Great food when you actually receive your order - terrible communication, cannot get through to anyone on the phones, and poor organisation. Order placed on the second occasion was not delivered, even though the order was taken by a staff member, it was not "confirmed"......

Really enjoyed our food and drinks, service was very good. We had the 3 course dinner, everything was cooked beautifully and so tasty. I think maybe a 2 course option might be a good idea.

My sister ordered a £50 voucher for my birthday and paid upfront… but had to chase constantly for them the send the email with the voucher over ! She rang emailed and messaged on socials but they were very difficult to get hold off ! And after months of trying to contact she is still yet to receive it … highly disappointing and awful service

Had an afternoon tea for my birthday, the food selection was great and delicious!! Unfortunately they had run out of Prosecco and ice. My friend was not brought any tea or coffee and ended up sharing from others, the £30 deposit we had paid was not taken off the bill, when this was queried we were told there was no record of it being paid and my friend had to find it on a bank statement to prove payment. After paying a substantial amount for the afternoon tea we were then charged 45p for the box to take it home. It’s a beautiful place and really can’t fault the food but it’s a shame about the policies in place and the service.

Food by Sean catered my husband’s 30th birthday party at an Airbnb. They were friendly and fun and the food was delicious, especially the sharing platter we had for starters, a bit of a showstopper! We had a sharing platter, spaghetti & meatballs then panna cotta. It was the little touches that made it: homemade biscuits, little pink meringues, basil leaves on the sharing board etc. A little bit slow on communication at times but that wasn’t the important thing (the food was!) and I certainly wouldn’t let it put me off using them again if we return to the area.
