Florida Fried Chicken in Oldham

The place never opens on time, says 11am stood outside for 10/15 mins not opened, why give time when can’t stick to it… idiots man…

Worst customer service experience everrrrr, I went in to the shop and the guy at the counter looked at me and then ignored like I doesn’t even exist. Later without greeting he took my order, I waited for my order to be made and when I was called after 8 minutes only to find out they take CASH ONLY, I asked him where’s the cash point, he said it’s up the road, I was in my flip flop 🩴 and it was raining but I managed to get the cash from a mile away and when I came back I was told by the same guy “Ohh there’s a bad news, your burger is sold already to another customer” I went that’s fine I can wait you make me another one but he then turn around n said “ it’s our closing time and we don’t have any burger available anymore” left me hanging in the middle, wasted my time and energy for nothing. Very rude and arrogant staff. Never go there, I was fuming 😤 and really annoyed by the way this guy in bread n glasses handled the whole situation, for him it was just like that .. but every customer is important and obviously you get paid for it so what’s the attitude for. This place left me very disappointed ☹️

The food is disgusting. I ordered a burger a day ago and i was eating it after I realised it was soggy and the chicken was pink inside. I been vomiting and having a bad stomach, I do not recommend to go here because they can’t cut the chicken properly

Burgers over cooked and found plastic in the bag fries cold and cold

Gave nuggets that were burnt to the core and said “your friend asked for spicy that’s what she got”… there’s a big difference between food being spicy and burnt and if you think the nuggets you gave were fine because you made them “spicy” you need to go get your eyes and brain tested. Nuggets are meant to be BROWN not BLACK. The staff are blind and stupid by the seems of it. Your staff need re training and you need to give them an eye test

The Evening Staff are rude (The Kurdish ones) Most of your Customers are Asian Treat them with Some Respect

Worst burger I've had Chicken was hard and almost half cooked Definitely wouldn't go here again. I should have gone Virginia or Rajas which would have been an excellent choice but though I would try Floidas. What a regret

I ordered a Chicken Strips Meal on there website and somehow they only give me strips, no chips and no drink. I spoke to someone at Florida and they spoke to me rudely. Also the order said it would take 45 minutes and it took over 1 hour and a half, but we understandbly waited and got cold food instead.

It was beautiful the staff and the environment was amazing plus the food oh my god the food it tasted like the gods invited me for a banquet. The Person who own the place is a good man, he even has jokes when ordering which shows very good customer service he said did I want “3 chips” 😂😂😂

This place is finished. Nostalgia made me go back but chubby man with glasses will serve you old chicken to get rid of it. Said it was fresh tasted like rubber. Burgers also half the size of other places. Chips were horrible as well. Rubicon mango was spot on thanks.

The staff are very mannerly and friendly. The food is amazing and my highlight for me is the coleslaw ismts 2nd to none, the food deals are very reasonable and affordable for anyone who is on a low budget and very tasty. Florida chicken Yorkshire st is the only takeaway in oldham that i eat from and the only place i will ever have coleslaw from is it my favourit. Thank you to all the guys at florida chicken for great service and tasty food. Also id like to thank the guys who deliver the food they are very plesent One Love

Food is good, but if you order, get it delivered. For some reason, they take an order over the phone and tell you it will be ready in 10 mims, but they start making it when you get there. Don't waste your time waiting. Get them to deliver it for you.

Wrong order delivered down 2 chicken burger meals, rude customer service I called them back to explain the wrong items had been delivered and not a complete order after waiting ages for the delivery my son was hungry so I gave him one of the strip meals which I had ordered the man wanted me to put all the food back into the bags and then they would pick up and send me more food which I explained my son had started eating and he became rude and aggressive basically telling me that it had to be given back in order for me to get my food I had even gave the delivery guy a tip Florida chicken you are a let down and have gone down hill and have not given me items or a refund poor service

I don’t know who it is that picks the phone up but the guy is so rude and arrogant. You order over the phone and still have to wait. Best to boycott this place the food might be nice but the arrogance is on another level.

There burgers are spot on but be careful if you park outside you’ll be getting a letter very soon for a parking fine!!

Very disappointed with the customer service. I’m a regular customer and order from this place quite often. Missing items is in their FORTE but the one time I thought I’d call and complain about missing items the restaurant fail to take accountability. The call handler responded with “not my problem”. It’s not about being compensated it’s about having mutual respect for your customer. Despicable.

Usually eveytime its perfect but this 1 tine they really disappointed First of all we ordered 3 burger meals and a wrap on its own all the chips were cold and wasnt fresh . Then the buns were burned too much.

Got a chicken strips meal. Asked for it a little spicy they made it normal and not spicy. Although going back a few times later I've had the fried chicken and wings and asked for them to be spicy and they have been very good just don't think they like it when you say make it a little spicy.

After seeing so many great reviews about Florida I decided to pay them a visit. The shop is takeaway only, no seating available but it's clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and polite. Upon walking in I was met with that delightful sight of freshly cooked golden goodness glistening under those hot lights waiting to be devoured by the hungry Oldham public. Although quiet in the shop the online ordering system was beeping away every few seconds. Spicy Chicken Burger/Cheese Ordered my burger which didn't take long to arrive, quickly got back in the car took the obligatory photos and then got stuck in. Oh wow! Immediately on that first bite I knew I had made a good choice. The burger was plump and piping hot, the bread was super soft but held up so well, it wasn't overly mayonnaised and the spicy sauce was perfectly balanced with a really nice tang and a nice spicy after bite but not to much where it has you running for the nearest milkshake bar to douse the burning flames of hell from your tongue. The chicken fillet was plump and tender, the batter was thick and although soaked in that spicy saucy sauce it still held a bit of a crunch, needless to say it didn't take long before for me to be almost biting at my fingers trying to make those last few bites last abit longer. Overall a really decent spicy chicken burger and lives up to the hype. I will definitely return to sample other menu items. 8.5/10

I ordered my food at 8pm, as the website stated 45min for delivery. My food was delivered at 10.45pm. The shop emailed me saying delivery time is actually 1hr 30min ( no issue) but that would mean 9.30pm? As I say it was 10.45pm when delivered. Very very poor service

Best chicken sandwich, Georgia fried chicken also very similar but I prefer this place you won't be disappointed at all. This is too good. You'll have to becareful as its very addictive and you may want it every now and then. Other things there are very good indeed but the chicken sandwich spicy is the best I've had so far, so much better than Philadephia fried chicken in Manchester and a little bit better or almost the same as Georgia fried chicken. But I prefer this place can't fault it one bit, the bun is soft amd the chicken is perfect and spicy and juicy and not too overly crispy. The spice level is bang on 👌 🔥 💯 well worth it better than all the major player like kfc mcdonalds etc

very parhethic burger i went there phone order they gave mei burger like a stone bread some old burger which was i think they stored it from a whole day May baddest burger i ever had in my life. I went to shop there was Muslim brother whos name was mudassir i told him that you gave me burger its bread is like a rock he saw that burger put it in bin. owner or cashier whoever guy was he came asked me with shocking face is that bun was hard i put my hand in bin showed him burger and he said thats not out burger even i didnt claimed that 5 pound i told them to give me food if you have but muddasir said we will pay you back. May Allah bless him with that £5 and he will realise how he ruined my dinner to be honest by the Grace of Allah inshAllah. He embarrassed me alot in way of like put bun my self

Best fried chicken I have had in Manchester!

Ordered through their website, gave us food that didn't match their description. Ordered chicken and chips 2 piece but only gave us 2 piece chicken no chips. Added cheese for our burgers but gave us none. No resolution was given when I rang, didnt honour what they describe on their website. Requested they need to update what they put on the website but was completely ignorant of that. No happy Florida, sort your website info out, very misleading.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered 2 and a half hours ago and food hasn’t arrived. Rang multiple times to keep being told that the food has been sent out and that they are busy. Florida is not the only place in Oldham that is busy on a Friday night. In the end our food was not even made and kids were left hungry and had not eaten past their bedtime.

Ordered for delivery at 7:32 and it’s now 9:40 and the food still has not been sent out. The brother on the phone lied to not once but twice telling me the food had been sent out yet he got caught in his lies and told me it actually hadn’t been sent out yet. Not worth your time. Ridiculous. Used the excuse that they’re busy- but so is everyone else. Ridiculous.

Went at 4pm. Gave me microwaved wings. And and dry chicken sandwich. With cheese which I didn't order. Clearly some left overs from lunch time probably a cancelled order When approached wouldn't give a full refund as I had eat some of it. Told him it was nasty and he screamed at me. Never again

It’s been a while since I ordered from here. Burger meals are still good as they have always been but this evening I was missing the sauces. I’ve paid for these too. The spicy chicken wing are tiny and pathetic. I’ve order 8 wings and all of them are tiny. I’ll probably give then next one a miss.

I would avoid this place. The young man with tattoos working on the front counter taking orders has a habit of fiddling by the looks of it. On a few occasions he missed items on my order deliberately even when I asked multiple times if he has included the items. He is basically robbing PEOPLE charging them for items and deliberately not putting them in the bag. So hes pocketing the change.

We have been eating from Florida’s oldham for a very long time but these past few months when we have ordered for delivery the food has been terrible the chicken burgers hard an rubbery the muffins have had a smell, even the fries not the way use to be. When I’ve called to complain about the food no notice has been taken for them to rectify. Very rude an impolite. Won’t be recommending or going back.

Despite being one of the first places in Oldham to do fried chicken it's still one if the best. Competition has been aggressive in the last decade or so but Florida serves you with fresh chicken and never disappoint.

I placed my order at 00.45 and it states allow 45 mins from wen u've placed ur order well its now 2:05 and their still not here and tryed to call um no ansa WTF is this all about I will be going to the papers about this and if its got anything to do with me ill put it all over social media tell peeps that they take payments off people and don't turn up this is so wrong on lots of levels !!!!( I'm very sad about this ......... The quality on these burgers have degraded!! Prices increased, quality decreased and the customer service is horrible! The guy taking phone orders really doesnt know how to speak to someone on the phone! No manners at all. The chicken burgers were so rubbery and chicken smelt!
