Florentino's in Bassetlaw

Ordered Florentino’s a few times this year. Excellent pizza’s and their selection box meals are great if (like me) you can never decide what you want. They also seem to deliver earlier than the estimated time on Just Eat, which is great when you are hungry!

I was sceptical from the reviews but my boyfriend wanted Parma so we gave it a go. Terrible. The chicken crunched and was soggy so made me feel Ill, I specifically asked no chips I dislike them and they were placed all over my food taking the cheese off when picking if off but leaving the oily smell/taste and no salad or sauce delivered. Just not worth the disappointment or money

Sent the wrong food and staff were rude. This is the first time we have ordered from here and it will be the last!

Had delivery due to Covid situation. Paid online when ordered. Wife paid again when delivered didn't realise I had paid. Driver returned later and apologised said we had already paid. Honesty at it's best because I would not of realised. As usual the food was piping hot and fresh. Beautiful thankyou guys.

i remember going here over 5 yrs ago but never again, i got 4 chicken kebabs to take home, when we opened the kebabs its all separate the nan bread was dry and you had to cut it yourself , a tiny bit of salad.. as we cut the nan bread it all collapsed . so tell me this if i had brought this to walk home how the hell would we have cut the bread to make the kebab .. im shocked at this idea..

where do I start foods arrived cold undercooked and no fillings rang up to complain and got told by natalia on the phone well I don't do the food you will need to do it yourself. eventually more food arrived I went to the door to ask what it was to be told I don't know do I its whatever you ordered. absolutely foul attitude to have stay away this place is vile I would give a 0 but there isn't that option management feel free to contact me.

My parents used to have pizzas from here many years ago and they were always brilliant! But me and my wife decided to call in and order one on a Saturday night. I’ll be honest the shop isn’t very clean with the roof tiles full of dirty marks. The pizza wasn’t very good at all either so safe to say we haven’t been back. Sorry but things need to change and get it back to how it used to be!

We usually use Peppy’s when we want a pizza/kebab take out but think last night it was still closed for refurb so we used Florentino’s.........not been here for quite a while,and I know why now.....it was utter rubbish Calzone was dry,tasteless,disgusting,chicken kebab same,and we ordered the smothered nachos with sour cream,what arrived was a packet of Doritos,emptied onto some foil in a pizza box with some melted hard tough cheap cheese on the top,nothing else,£4:50.......shocking Eat here at you’re own risk,will not go here again

Me, my mother and step dad decided to have a night in and order from this takeaway. When the order was delivered it was completely wrong, ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers (which came with no cheese), a Florentinos special pizza (which was cold) and a portion of onion rings... The onion rings did not get delivered... we got a pot of coleslaw instead and as previously stated the burgers were completely wrong as well as the pizza being stone cold... Would not recommend unless you like getting your order wrong!!!

Love this place. Always my first choice when wanting a takeaway. Great food. Even the dessert was great. I order a chocolate fudge cake, got a big slice and like that other rubbish from other takeaways, that's like eatting mud

We ordered food for collection. Which we picked up..to get Home and the Food we ordered to be cold and half missing. 1x special burger - no salsa 1x mixed burger (both meals with chips) 1x chips 1x tub of coleslaw and garlic dough balls. The food was all cold. The cheesy garlic balls didn’t taste of garlic at all - still edible but not what we expected. The mixed burger come without donner meat it should have. And all the chips were cold. We rung to complain. firstly got offered a free meal next time. But We rung back to say we wanted fresh as the food ordered couldn’t be eaten. To be TOLD they were replacing ONLY the mixed burger and the chips to the meals. (Which we had to collect - AGAIN) Just to add to insult. So he expected 1 of us to eat half a cold meal alone. Shocking customer service from the actual management by the way. Not sure what has happened to Florentinos Worksop but it’s certainly not the place it used to be. Won’t ever be going back that’s for sure. Food taken back to takeaway and full refund demanded.

After waiting ages for the order to arrive. The drivers contacted us adamant that they were outside our house. They were not. After telling them our address again they still proceeded to argue with us. I then rang the shop back up, to then be told their car had broken down and we were getting a fresh order. This was a lie, the food arrived 10 mins later with the drivers with the “broken car” who again argued they went to the correct address the first time and the meal was cold.

Ordered meal deal from here and extra fries. Took an hour and half to arrive. The pizza and garlic bread was cold, the onion rings were soggy and cold too. Fries were forgotten so had to ring up and took an extra 40 minutes for those to arrive and they were cold and soggy too. Definitely won't be ordering from there again. Huge disappointment.

waited almost 1 and half hour for cold food and no apology and they got the order wrong this place has really gone down hill don't waste your money

This is one of the tastiest takeout pizzas we have had in ages! We went in on a recommendation from a friend that definitely paid off! We had a 9"garlic bread with mushrooms and cheese and a 12" spicy beef with veg plus 2 cans of pop a homemade coleslaw which by the way was yummy and a tub of garlic mayo. All this came to £11! Food was fresh and tasty and no grease in sight! Would deffo order again

Visited here on recommendation from delivery driver , haven't been here for 10 years and so glad we tried it again ! We had 2 pizzas and garlic bread and fries all delicious will return again super value too !

I do not know why this has gone so downhill. Pizza dough was raw and wedges cold , had to throw entire meal away and was refused a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Ordered 3x in total now - twice the food has come with missing items!! Chips was also still half frozen! Avoid if you want to receive what you pay for!

I ordered a cheeseburger from here and got food poisoning was off work for 2 weeks I was taht bad. Phoned up and they said "if we get any more complaints you can have a free meal" I will tell them where to shove ut if they have had done. Disgusting. Never eat here again! Put me off for life

We ordered online using the website, received our pizza , chicken kebab and chips very quickly , but unfortunately the garlic bread that we Ordered was not delivers, we contacted the shop and thy said I would be with us straight away 30 minutes later still no sign, very disappointing , poor customer service

Whenever we are thinking of pizza for a take away we will only ever order from this place. Our staple is the chicken and mushroom (pollo funghi) and a bag of special fries.Always a nice homely, filling treat. And the dog gets some too!

Excellent staff.....always polite and welcoming.....and the Hot & Spicy Calzone is the best pizza money can buy !!

Delicious pizza. Garlic bread special is a must have its so tasty with cheese and mushroooms.Not always speedy delivery.I would say that this is the best pizza we've had. If we order pizza it is always from here.

since the 1st day of opening these pizzas have always been my favourite. The years go by but the pizzas remain as good but Marco has always made my favourite the best! 12" traditional Garlic bread special, extra sweet corn, extra ham ! Stunning

In my opinion Florentino's is the best take away pizza place in town. We always order a delivery from them if we fancy pizza. My wife sometimes has their Lazagne, which she says is great.
