Fletchers Fish Bar in Harrow

Basic fish and chips, just hot food. Batter is no good. It's as if manufactured in a factory frozen with batter and refried. For 11 GBP id rather pay 15 GBP and have a better meal so won't return as better places like sea pebbles

Always stop in here when I get the chance with my Grandad. Great chicken and fish in here every time.

I try alot of burgers in this shop but nothing was good and the worker was not even talking normal to me he was like very rude and after that he was talking abuse my review is 1.7/10 for service and everything.

fish and chips was made fresh. The chips were proper chip shop chips - crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. We also tried the peri peri chicken last time, chicken was nice and juicy. Very very decent prices only £6.99 for a half chicken meal

Best fish and chips in the area! Ordered cod and chips, both were fresh and tasty. Been here a few times Under new management and doing way better than before. Will definitely be trying their burgers next time and amazing friendly service!

Ordered a large amount for a family gathering Had to collect and had to wait 10 mins after being told it would be 15 mins When we got the food home was missing 4 items Was told everything was there on the phone but it wasn’t Sausages was dry and chips were soggy Cold Terrible, used to be proper back in the day but no more

We found the place because we live nearby, so we decided to try it. Wings had a good size and were grilled fresh in the moment which is a big plus. We ordered the mango and lime flavour but it could definitely get better as it wasn’t that tasty. However, we found the prices to be very accesible, so for a quick meal, I definitely recommend it.

Really disappointed with the portion size of chips and the battered sausages are almost burnt …. It’s a shame because after the take over I thought u were doing well … but you can’t charge almost 5 pounds for small chips and give such a small portion.

Fish lovely,chips white in colour and half of them raw also ordered a steak burger which is what looks like a frozen chicken burger like a child’s portion beware when ordering the steak burger even rang the shop and asked what is in the steak burger and the guy confirmed chicken mayo lettuce and very small shame because of the nice fish.

Absolutely disgusting soggy cod baits - tasted like fish fingers in a soggy little box - tiny portions. Have always used Quay Fish and Chips, they are lovely and crispy- but thought I’d give Fletchers a try. What a disappointment- chucking it in the bin.

An even greater food experience since the revamp of the shop. The thick very well cooked chips bring that Cornwall vibe 👏🏾 I'm of huge fan of the succulent chicken burgers and milkshake choices, fletchers is the first shop I've ever seen a mango milkshake option so this choice was inevitable to say the least. Massive shout out to fletchers. The visit is a continuous must.

Our first visit back here in a good few years, we decided to give it another go since the make over and it didn’t disappoint! The curry sauce was lovely, they have a great selection of both chicken and fish etc. I had a battered sausage which was nice and crispy.. will probably try the fish next time! Price was very reasonable for the portions too.

I remember growing up in Pinner, going here frequently, ques out the door, great fresh quality food and good service but not now... ITS the TOTAL opposite... This place has had a cheap tacky make over, the slow service is jarring, serving full meals split up in parts, bad quality sauces, Ketchup is basically a red vinegar , no fresh bread rolls, pickled eggs etc and no traditional things you would expect, I wish them luck as they will loose loyal customers around Pinner now. Just a cheap , low quality food outlet with staff that seem like they literally just woke up 😴

Best chips I've had in a long time. Friendly servers who went out of their way to check on ingredients in the veggie burger too. I sat in and they also brought me sauces and checked in if I needed anything else Will definitely be back .

Excellent food at pocket friendly price…, and surprisingly ample space to sit and eat. Added advantage is the nearby Tesco free parking for 2 hours… Will visit again and again…. We love the food and also did take away… It’s under new management now and the owner takes care of his customers…

Great Traditional Fish and Chip shop with delicious food and lovely curry sauce, staff who are friendly and serve with a smile, plus I like the fact it’s unique in that it’s got that old school look to it especially with the sign and layout inside which gives it the extra charm which is not like a lot of fast food take aways around. Always will continue coming and recommend it for all!!!

Bought a fish and chips meals the other day, the fish was soggy and they were stingy with the portions. Not worth the price and won't be going there again

FOOD POISONING BAD HYGIENE -Avoid at all costs, asked for a chicken burger meal, the lady convinced me to get the wings instead, after getting the wings and chips I asked for my drink with the meal and was charged extra even though I asked for the meal at first - there is something odd about this shop first time I went the man tried recommending the chicken wings aswell I didn’t take it but I did yesterday, the wings and chips just be reheated or gone bad already terrible hygiene I have gotten food poisoning - Avoid at all costs terrible business bad hygiene.

Great customer service. Funny lady. Great wings and chips (chips were a bit overdone but i aint complaining) still yummy. Fried chicken was well cooked but very unseasoned. (Not acceptable for people of colour/culture) I could only eat half my drumstick once salt was added. Definitely needs a season rub before frying. Or after. I don't know if it was my amazing personality and hysterical banter (with my mum as my partner in crime/who's also a small time regular) but i did find extra chips in my bag... If you love expensive food, horrific service, and outright lying, then this is the place for you! Having lived in the area for 25 years, this once was a fantastic chippy; but not anymore. Having asked to separate the fish from the chips (as my wife is vegetarian) on 3 separate occasions, and blatantly seeing the server combine the two and confronting him about it, and STILL insisting it is separate, there is only so much you can do. In addition, arriving at 12.30 to get the lunchtime special to then be told the special is 'out of stock' doesn't scream great customer service. Avoid this chippy like the plague and spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.

Revolting dry, over cooked stale chips bought at lunchtime. Avoid. Not what should be served. Hard to support local businesses if this is what they are selling. Yuk!

Just went on a lunch break with my friends and the Chips where awful and the customer service was 0. Very rude and not a polite owner what so ever i would not recommend this place to anyone waste of money i had 2 chips out of the portion could not stomach it at all just like the owner. Ridiculous how a onwer takes not pride in customer service and can be tht rude. He could not be bothered to say hello when addressed and even as i left we say thankyou the owner didnt even acknowledge it at all.

Food wasn't the best, came across as slightly underdone, staff was sarcastic and in my opinion rude, if I hadn't ordered already id have left the way I was spoken to. Won't be visiting again anytime soon.

Chips are palatable, however, the rudeness and lack of customer service deserves special praise. The female working there, obviously lacks manners and basic human decency. I am very sorry that you're unhappy with life standing behind a counter frying fish but please don't take out your own insecurities and frustrations on customers. You're particularly friendly with my husband but extremely discourteous towards me. I've tried on many occasions to be civil and ignore your bitterness and rudeness, chalking it up to a bad day, but lady, you must be having a bad day, 365 days a year, and some! My husband has now taken his custom to Ideal Fish Bar on Marsh Road, amazing chips and even better staff.

Best fish and chips in all of The British Empire!!! Do not sleep on Fletchers. It is a bit of a ride to Pinner (40 mins or so) from Central London, but totally worth it. My father grew up in Pinner and every time we are in London, we stop in. It is THAT good.
