Went and got some food from this place only to take a few bites and see 4 strands of hair in the batter of the food. Absolutely disgusting you can tell they don’t follow any hygiene protocols at this store and when called to complain the person I spoke to said I didn’t make it so I don’t know what kind of nonsense is this. An absolute waste of money I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there. Doesn’t even qualify for the one star rating.

We bought lamprais, which is given in a plastic container rather than banana leaf. The food tasted like plastic. Many elements of lamprais were missing. Definitely dont buy lanprais from here. Also fried rice was not fresh/nice. Waste of £7.50

Food taste ok. tried few different items all were ok. Billing was an issue it wasn't itemised which should be in any shop. No prices were displayed at all.

It’s very very bad taste.we ordered kottu rotti but they gave us something so horrible that you can’t call it Kottu Rotti. Wast of money. No one ate it . However, that shop customer service is good.

Horrible place. Unhygienic method of cooking. Mice droppings can be seen. Horrible service. We had severe diahorea...for two days. Please avoid this place at any cost. They change names... worst, unhygienic place.

A small and good shop. Good south Indian/Sri Lankan food. Have a lot of varieties of snacks and main food. Very cheap. Bought different Vada options and good quality. Dosa is available and they will make it fresh. Sambar and chutney are tasty and look fresh.

I went there for the first time yesterday and was very impressed with the quality of food, service and price. Loved the food so much, went back again today. So much to choose from their vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Highly recommend this amazing place. Will definitely go back again!

This has just got to be one of the finest Indian/Sri Lankan takeaway in London. I have eaten from many Indian takeaways and this is one of the best I have tried. The food at Ammu Express was exceptionally good! Very tasty and well prepared and you can choose among many menu options. The flavour and aroma are astonishing, portions are generous. I loved the service at the place, fantastic service, felt really looked after, would definitely order again. For me, Ammu Express is the best south Asian takeaway in Harrow. I highly recommend this place.

Best Bondas in town , Light and thin crispy batter , Masala not overpowering fresh potatoes.

Food was delicious. The Mutton Kothu Rotti was immaculate and Muttons rolls were crispy and hot. Sambar and dosa was excellent to eat and a bonus was that it was cooked right there and then giving you an extra tasty meal. Staff were kind and helpful. I would recommend giving Ammu Express a try since the food is absolutely delicious and comes at a very affordable prices.

What can I say the food is amazing and very reasonable, my quest to find quality biryani is finally over we bought their mutton biryani along with chicken curry, fish bun and samosa and every single dish is outstanding and delicious I highly recommend ( South Harrow/Harrow's best take away restaurant )

Sometimes mutton kothu is good 👍 Sometime bad depends on the cook need to standardised your taste.
