Worst restaurant in uk. Very rude and arrogant staff and owner. 100% shameless service. Do not suggest any one to vist.

Cute little spot, not too loud, cosy and had karaoke nights too. Enjoyed our meal and loved it. Can’t wait to be back

Its easy to give broad based statements about how a restaurant is good or bad. So let me be very specific. 1. The paneer dishes are generally good. 2. The papdi chat was horrible. The curd used in papdi chat was that of lassi- full of sugar and cardamom! Even after I asked the waitress to change it to normal curd, she argues that this is how papdi chats are made. At my age I must have tasted papdi chats at 20 places- this was the worst. 3. Nanns- excellent. Service: from the previous visit things seem to have improved- fast and efficient service. If this restuarant was in a location that was starved for Indian foods, it would have been ok. But it is in Hounslow- with a million other amazing India restaurants. So why waste time and money here?

The food and service was absolutely horrible and disgusting! Booked in advance, but still had to wait for a table for ages. Our drinks were just bought in the cans with no glasses, we had to keep asking for two glasses, we asked about 5 times, we were just left and had to keep finding someone to take our order. Prawn biryani was soggy and tasted awful, we just left most of the food there, paid and got out of there. Will never visited here again, the food and service use to be good but its now completely horrible. Don't waste your time or money going here

Ordered food around 9:15 on a busy night. Food not served till 10:45. Main reason, takeaway orders. Without any expansion in kitchen staff it is pure greed to accept takeaway orders while all tables were full. Chaos all over with angry customers in every table. No managers or owners to be seen. Poor staff left to fend off angry customers

We were a group of 5 who visited and it’s easily the worst restaurant we’ve ever been to! Terrible service and the food was the most flavourless thing any of us had eaten. Not sure there was any flavour of India

We ordered mixed grill and they served mixed microwaved meat on dinner plate. Kebabs were saggy chicken was uncooked and presentation was worst I have ever seen. Service is also so bad that you have to wait one hour for your order. No apology from staff they argue with you if you dare to complain. Save your money and time and have your meal elsewhere

This restaurant used to be my favourite. I would recommend it to soo many people. Just gave me the feeling of being proud about Indian food. But my last visit has changed my views. The food was not the same anymore. The quality was poor.. flavourless.. nothing tasted the same anymore. Its just sad. I don't have a favourite place anymore. The front of house was friendly though. I never complain about food usually. But this time.... I had to. Not going back anytime soon

It was shocking and upsetting to see that an ordered placed today by my daughter through Just Eats carried service charges as well as delivery charges. This order was from Flavours of India. I am astonished to know as to how and why Just Eats allowed the said restaurant to charge service charges for orders that are home delivered. On what basis were these charges applied? what service were rendered by the restaurant towards the order other than preparing them? On the contrary, most restaurants charge less for delivered items as compared to dine in service. It is a shame. Either the owner of Flavours of India is ignorant about the reason for this charge Or is taking advantage of its customers. I would appreciate if just eats investigates into this matter and going forward does not allow its partner restaurants to charge unreasonable fees. No business ethics.

I went to this restaurant tonight for a family meal. I had booked a table in advance Unfortunately apart of that my experience was not very good. 1- the food was lacking of flavour as soon as we finished the starter I Had to wait for 40 minutes to order main course, no one asked how the food was, no one was bothered to take away the starter plates and cutlery and replace them with clean an main course plates and cutlery. 2- food was not cooked from scratch. It was just warmed it up and sent it to the table. 3-when we finished our drinks no one asked us if we would like to have something else. 4-when we finished with our main course, we just asked for the bill, and once again, no one was bothered to ask us how was everything, or even if we want some desert . We not recommend anyone

I visited restaurant with Family and delighted by very good customer service. Staffs are very nice. Very authentic indian food, We would love to visit again.

The wait time to get in was about 30 mins which is fine but once seated no one arrived to the table for about 20 mins, I had to myself go and get the menu from some other table, then the order taker comes straight for an order, ordered 3 starters two mains and bread with a Jug of lassi for 3 pax two adults and of 9 years child. the lassi Jug came first after 15 mins with no glasses then the glasses took another 10 mins to arrive, the starters were not that hot but they tasted above average, after finishing the staters it took another 20 mins for the main to come, it was completely cold, but the again food tasted good. But the worst part was when the bill was settled they settled it as the discount for only 2 people as they say children under 12 are not eligible for the eat out to help out scheme. On asking them to show me where it was written they refused. I have thoroughly researched no such rule was set out by HMRC, I am going to take this up with them as well. but personally would deem this as a big disappointing experience. also the highlight of the place is no social distancing is maintained what so ever.

Have been eating in and ordering delivery for quite a few years almost since The restaurant had opened. Great desi chinese( don’t expect authentic chinese food) but great indo chinese flavours and most importantly the taste and quality hasn’t changed for so many years! Dishes to try are chicken fried rice, chilli chicken. Lollipop are ok. Also the tandoori kebab dishes are very good. So are the tandoori breads! The curry dishes are ok too. Didn’t like the dal tadka ( looks like they use Yellow food colour. I hope i am wrong.) My all time favourite is the tandoori chicken and lamb chops. Ya its a great little local restaurant and for the tasty and good quality food, the prices are reasonable and portions are generous!! If you are in Hounslow its definitely worth a visit!!

We visited here on s Monday evening. No reservation required. Place had some tables full but it was not crowded. Service could have been a bit more efficient. Food when served was delicious. Sharing plate of Tandori chicken, chicken tika masala rice garlic naem were lovely and beef dish I beer. Very reasonable Would recommend

Vegetarian food is yummy specially TADKA DAL. Matka Kulfi in dessert is delicious. Crowded during weekends, services is okay. Reservation is must if you aren't ready to wait.

Six of us booked a table for dinner. The place was over crowded, service was extremely slow , food was barely average with none of the soups on the menu being available , pray why ! The toilets were most user (un)friendly one could ask for , above the dining area , after climbing a flight of straight stairs . An experience, we surely won’t like to repeat .

The food was absolutely amazing. After being turned away on Friday without a reservation, we returned on Sat and were fortunate enough to get a table without a reservation. Drinks (in particular the wine) was extremely reasonably priced for a restaurant. I ordered the veggie samosa, mutar paneer, coconut rice and naan. All very good, too much to eat and takeaway boxes provided. Another member of the party ordered onion bhaji and instead of the usual 2 pieces per portion was pleasantly surprised with 5!The only negative would be that we had trouble getting attention to pay the bill, which was understandable as they were extremely busy, however after asking three times and around 15 mins, we were really ready to leave!Overall, I'd really recommend and found the place very reasonable - bill around 50 for 3, including 2 wine, 2 starters, 3 sides and 3 mains. Give this place a go! Good luck with a getting a table!!

Me and my friend went there to have a dinner at 17:40 the restaurant is totally empty and the staff are chatting. No one came to offer us table so we just choose a place to sit. The waitress came and asked us what we want to order when she didnt even gave us the menu, so we ask to show us the menu first as we don't know what toorder.Then we ordered bottle of wine, soup and chicken lollipop, we also ordered fried rice, dal makhani and steam dimsum as main course. But the waitress told us that we have to wait 20mins for the soup because theur chinese chef is on break... (on break when the restaurant opens 17:30). we told her that we are willing to wait and while waiting we ordered poppadom but ittakes long for them to serve the poppadom, we need to follow up with them when they going to serve the poppadom and the same waitress told us that they are preparing freshly cook poppadom but when they serve it, it was too cold. the soup and chicken lollipop was serve after 35mins but while we are still eating another waitress wanted to take our plates because she wanted to serve the main course we told her to wait until we finish the first plate we are eating but she said it needs to be serve now because the chef doesnt wanted to keep it in the kitchen which we didnt agreed because we are not finish with the first plate. she put it back to the kitchen and when we asked them to serve the main course it was too cold, especially the nan for dal makhani we asked to changed it but they just re heat it which makes the nan like a rubber.. i also ask sauce for steam dim sum and the waitress told us that they dont have sauce and we can use the chicken lollipop sause!! i asked for soya sauce and she said they dont give soya sauce. the service is totally poor, the staff needs a proper training for customer service.

The atmosphere of the hotel is so designed in a way that we get a feel we reached a typical Punjab restaurant with icons Indian Punjab is well displayed.The service is very good since I am staying away from giving excellent as the shortage of staff affecting the pleasantness of service.regarding the taste of the dishes serving,I have no hesitation to give 5 Star.The price is a bit higher ,however the savour of the dishes will surpass the price.

We go every time we go to twickenham..we stay in Hounslow overnight and this is the restaurant we go to. We know we should try others but ' why mend whot ain't broke' . It's always good food plenty of it and very friendly staff..highly recommended

I’ve been in London 12 years now and I have to say this is the best Indian I’ve come across. Im originally from Leeds and we have excellent curry houses up there, very pleased to have found this place!

We had a jolly good time here last night with live music by Hindi singer on Wednesday nights. Although the downfall was the loud music he played (couldn't even converse with each other) we enjoyed the food (no potty problems next day) and drinks (hard liquor is allowed to be brought in). The waiters (specially Marta from Poland) was exceptional. Will visit again soon!

Pathetic services. We ordered two curries and breads as it was pretty late for dinner. Little did we know that they will take 45 minutes to prepare that small order. Finally I had to go and ask at the service corner. Then suddenly within two minutes our arrived. The food was ready to be served however they didn't serve us. The chicken Patiala got cold. Its a shame! Food was good but the service was so bad that we couldn't enjoy it.

I have seen some other reviews and suspect they are false. No way is this a 1. The place is well decked out and quirky suitable for all occasions. I will admit the guy who brought my drink said he would come back and take my order and he did not. However a chatty lady from Nepal did.The quality was great the keema Nan was the best I have ever had, Cobra beer on draught was nice, liked the decor t, the truck was different!

I have been eating in this restaurant since they opened it around 8 years ago. The food has certainly lost its quality and flavours. I stopped going eating there a while ago. Since my friend wanted to go there I didn’t say know to her. We had ordered a chilli chicken for mains and it came half cooked. Showed it to a waiter and asked her to cancel the dish.As the half cooked chicken put me off. Then another waiter comes with the chilli chicken and I told him I have cancelled it. Damn he has an audacity to tell a customer that we can’t cancel it. Damn the whole team including the manager needs training there. It’s not that I don’t wanted to pay but even a sorry would have been enough to show that they care but no.

Really bad food. We have been there before and Indian food was really good. This time we went for Chinese and it was really bad..too oily..we ordered Veg Hot and Sour and it was neither Hot nor Sour. When we complained we were told that the chef has said this is the best that we can make take it or leave it. So we left it.

Visited with my family. The food was very good and they had a live singer who added to the ambience. Our starters came out in bits - wrong as one of the starters was a vegetarian which came out out 20 mins later than the rest!! When I asked a staff member he told me they bring it out in bits as there is not enough space on the table. What a load on nonsense. They had a chap who I assume is a manager who made no effort to go to any table and ask how the food/service was. The food was very good no question about that. Up your service and you will be a top restaraunt.

Called in for a meal after saying that we'd go in for a long time but we left feeling like shouldn't have bothered. They were slow to take our order and service throughout the visit was basic. The food quality was poor and we felt like they were catering for the masses and not really cooked to order. We made a swift exit.

It is the first Indian restaurant that I visited during my visit to London. I took a buffet dinner and had been for a buffet lunch for second time. Food was tasty and staff were helpful and friendly. It's a good hotel to try once for authentic North Indian food with good ambiance too, Indian truck is placed in a corner of the hotel which is attractive.

As the name is, we did see flavours of India in this restaurant which we visited on two occasions during our stay in London. The restaurant at Hounslow was close to our hotel Premier Inn Heathrow. Good food with good Indian music in the restaurant. Seeing the crowd in the hotel, it seemed that the restaurant and its food was liked by all. Our entire group also liked the food of this restaurant and had demanded to revisit the restaurant again. Our tour manager arranged our second visit to the restaurant again a day later.

I had visited London in September 2017 and had visited this restaurant because it was not far from our hotel Premier Inn Heathrow. We had gone to the restaurant as a group on 27 Sep 2017 for dinner. The dinner was simple and to the liking of all group members. They provided both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. I took vegetarian dishes - they were awesome. We liked the Indian food so much that we requested our tour manager to take us again and we had lunch on 29 Sep 2017f again. Food was excellent and we enjoyed the ambience and bollywood music too.

Food was great and came straight on time, decor was great with the an indian truck but service was a bit pushy.

First had to ask for papad four times...chicken lolly pop was different then we had before...chicken biryani tasted good but it was toooooo oily and yes the great butter chicken came with few pieces of chicken and pot full of curry....garlic naan was like half of the naan where other places offer .....my daughter was very unhappy...she gives at least 5 for any restaurant but she was like mum just give 1 as I'm so unhappy and it was too much expensive compared to its quality...we don't mind paying good for quality food but here it was so disappointing....

i joined this site just to post this review. The food was good but the service was extremely poor. whats the use of good food if no one comes to you again once you are seated. I feel sorry for the chefs who make such good food only for the restaurant to be let down by the bad service. i felt embarrassed as i was the one who had recommended this restaurant. there was only one woman who seemed to be doing her job properly ( dont know her name but she wore glasses for sometime). the rest, dont come to you again, i got up and had to ask for someone to come to the table. the tall guy (not short) was very cold in talking, we were spending nearly hundred pounds and he was hesitant in giving us sauce saying there wasn't any and we had missing cutlery which he replaced after ten minutes . he was taking a long time for some reason and when we asked for tissues he never came back. half the time he was going and not returning and i had to get up. i wanted a serving spoon for the starter and no one came so we used our hands to serve us! also dont like the dish the mixed grill was served on as it was small and everything was piled on, ontop of each other. i prefer the wooden trays that they used to serve on back in the days instead of piling everything on top of one another. ive been coming to this restuarant for ten years and service has gone worse. the glass also had finger prints which i had to ask to be replaced after 20 minutes as no one came to usss.Also were not given any serving spoon with the starters so we had to serve hot burning food with our hands as we could not use our used utensils for serving food to one another. no music playing either. the service was the worst i've received. also the taste in kebabs seems to have changed but thats not the biggest issue honestly. the silence/waiters/how slow everyone was.was a big let down. what should you do? just get a home delivery from them and go somewhere else if you wish to spend timeLike0Comment0Edit DeleteShare

Had the worst experience money can buy. Was entertaining a group of friends from Dubai. We had to put up with the snail speed right from the start. A poor server was all there was. I guess he was the cook too. Was hardly to be seen. NEVER going back again. Special mention to the manager/owner ( not sure ) who just stood there chatting the whole 2.5hrs not worried about customers having to shout for food. Even the cheque

Lackadaisical does not begin to describe the incompetents who run this establishment. We ordered a beer for my wife, a mineral water for me, and iced tap water for my son. After a wait, the beer arrived, but no water. After more waiting, we were informed they were out of mineral water. How does that even happen? And if it does, you send someone to the convenience store three doors down and buy one. So, anyway, I ask for ice water, too. Another long wait. Finally, the food began to arrive, so I left to go get a bottle of mineral water from the store three doors down. As I returned, the ice water finally showed up. But then, another waitstaffer comes over and tells me I can't bring beverages in from outside! Lady, I'd have happily paid for the mineral water I ordered, but after keeping me waiting, I was told you were out. I'm spending a lot of money on food, I don't drink alcohol, and it took 15 minutes for the ice water to show up. What was I supposed to do? She shut up. Then a smoke alarm went off and kept shrieking for five minutes. No one ever apologized to us. No one offered to comp us even a dessert or anything. This place wouldn't last a month in any kind of competitive environment. (The kicker, of course, is they tried to charge me for their non-existent mineral water. Good thing I checked these bozos' bill and had them take it off.) It's really sad, because the food was excellent. But NO ONE should patronize this place. It should be driven out of business.

When the food did arrive, after the driver sitting on a different road, it was cold and bit of a let down as we have been regular customers at the restaurant. I was then further disappointed to receive an onion stuffed naan instead of a potato stuffed naan. Not sure if I would use this service again.

Food is average. Being a fussy vegetarian I was not happy that when my food arrived it had chicken in the same tray next to my vegetarian curry(thats after mentioning my order is all veg.) portions are small and priced on the higher side compared to most restaurants. The staff seems lost. Very noise.

I went today with wife and kids to this place . Service at start was good with food and waiters being nice they also let us put the baby pushchair next to our table as we have a baby who is very young , upon the arrival of the manager who was wearing a backwards cap with a grey suit he kicked the pushchair and said it's not allowed which resulted in my child crying he said he will let us off this time but next time we would be banned furthermore the food was below standard. We asked for a Lamb kebab but they brang lamb square chunks. Upon questioning this we was told by mr backward cap manager that this is "badda kebab" and in Afghanistan its considered a delicacy so we should shuttup and eat it. Our baby was hungry so we gave him baby food the manager then came again and shouted and said we cannot feed or child my wife and I were shocked ! This was thelast straw we asked for the bill it did not come for 30 mins and when it came it had service charge for whiskey even though we never ordered none we refused to pay the extra charge the manager with the cap then said he will call the police upon which he tried to punch me resulting him falling over on to a table his waiters then took what we owed and told us to leave as we called the police for attempted assault ! Never go here the drunk manager is running this place in to the ground

I went their last month on my religious day VAISAKHI and their was really bad service as they have shortage of staff and we waited thir for half an hour for every dish so I took more than 2 hours just for dinner as their was just one main lady who can't handle all the customers and even they were taking 15 minutes just to take order. It was the horrible service that day which will stop me to go their next time. Basically it was wastage of my money. They should take more staff and better service.

The atmosphere was good, although at times a little awkward. The food was authentic, and although not to my own taste good. Bahjis were good and flavourful, samosas were hot on the outside but not heated through. A range of meals were selected All parties had stomach issues afterwards. The restaraunt has a BYOB option for alcoholic drinks, and has a limited selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Due to taking advantage of the BYOB option, the meal averaged at £15-20 This was not our first visit, but unfortunately due to the side effects, this will be our last.

Order was made around 7:45 and got delivered at 9:45. 2 hrs for delivery.

No I will never order from this restaurant again the time they have told me that they will bring my order they came late and the food was all cold and it was like that they have given me food look like it's not made today it looks like it is left over they have send me

They served 4 of us in 3 hours. I have never ever seen such type of horrible service in my life. I felt like I am in prison and they will serve me only when they want. I saw many other families frustated and leaving the restaurant because of the pathetic service. I have been to this place before but today they crossed all the limits. Shortage of staff and they are not capable enough to manage their restaurant. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT SPEND AT THIS PLACE.

Food tasted wonderful. Best Indian food ever eaten. Amazing for vegetarians
