Una vida que afirma una gran experiencia en una fría noche de enero. Conocido por una encantadora, brillante y enormemente competente anfitriona / gerente, que me apretó en sin reserva, e incluso recordó mi nombre más tarde en la noche. El personal también fue enérgico y civilizado. Hamburguesa de trufa, patatas fritas y ensalada verde fueron ejemplares. Simplemente comida brillante de un menú perfeccionado. El restaurante estaba inmaculado. Muy bien precio, excelente comida sabrosa y genuinamente buena relación calidad-precio - me encantó el helado de vainilla y mantequilla marrón (gratis) que te dieron al salir. ¡Ojalá todos los restaurantes fueran así de genuinos! ME ENCANTÓ!

Comida increíble. Lo mejor que he tenido en años. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Nos sentamos abajo en una cabina y no era demasiado ruidoso y un muy buen ambiente. Tomamos un filete de ribeye con espinacas, puré y queso macarrones. Honestamente puedo decir, esto es mejor que cualquier asador en el que haya estado antes.

Mi pareja y yo vinimos aquí para nuestra cena de aniversario y la comida era excepcional. Ambos pedimos la bavette Wagyu que era simplemente excepcional, era tan suave y tierno. Nos atendió Lina que era una anfitriona increíble, muy acogedor y atento. Ambos recomendaríamos absolutamente!

Tuvimos un almuerzo muy agradable en Flat Iron hoy. El servicio fue muy agradable, especialmente Marta que era nuestra camarera. Era nuestra primera vez en este restaurante y ella nos explicó el menú a fondo. La comida era deliciosa. Te recomiendo.

En primer lugar, el servicio era bueno. No puede culpar a nuestra camarera, aunque sí tomó un tiempo para venir a tomar nuestro pedido. Tenía muchas ganas de esto, yo mismo trabajo en un restaurante de filetes, así que estoy muy familiarizado con diferentes cortes de filetes y diferentes sabores y texturas cuando se cocinan. El filete olía a comida para gatos, olía absolutamente horrible, era insoportable de comer, parecía que había sido sometido a microondas. La salsa de pimienta en grano sabe a limones, no era pimienta en absoluto y el tamaño de la misma se podía mojar 2 patatas fritas y se ha ido. Y el agua cítrica a la llegada se suponía que era de limón y sabor a naranja, solo sabía a agua del grifo con un toque de E-coli. Definitivamente no volveré!

Precioso filete de hierro plano jugoso con sabrosas patatas fritas y una carta de vinos corta pero a precio de voluntad. £ 67 para dos incluyendo servicio, lados y una botella de vino, así como el aperitivo de palomitas de maíz y helado para llevar de cortesía para terminar, con agua proporcionada automáticamente en lugar de tratar de "vender" una botella a £ 6 +. Este es el Lidl de restaurantes - limitar la elección, pero hacerlo bien y a muy buen precio. Deliciosa y excelente relación calidad-precio. ¡Asegúrese de reservar, ya que la cola para caminar era larga!

Marido quería probar aquí por su cumpleaños. Fue agradable por dentro, el personal era increíble. El bistec y patatas fritas estaban bien, lo mejor que tuvimos fue el puré de médula ósea que era divino. Precio muy razonable para Londres.

Habíamos pedido una mesa tranquila en la reserva ya que mi marido mayor es sordo. Atrapado en el centro de un restaurante concurrido donde le costaba oír. Inicialmente solo 3 sillas para 4 de nosotros y el personal tomó algún tiempo para encontrar otro mientras estábamos allí. Tan oscuro que apenas podíamos ver el menú o el uno al otro. Horribles sillas de madera dura, cuando pedimos un cojín y el personal básicamente acaba de burlarse de nosotros. Demasiado para la atención al cliente. Los filetes eran duros y los acompañamientos fríos. Decepcionado más allá de las palabras. Nunca más.

Flat iron might be the best steak in london. Great value, great service, great steaks. My family and I all had flat iron steaks and they were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. We were served by debora who was brilliant. Service was prompt, friendly and always with a smile.

I booked the 44James street branch next to Selfridge's. Apart from a cold air conditioning and very uncomfortable seats, everything was perfect! Please spend money on cushions. Beautifully run restaurant with a very limited menu but the most tasty, tender and delicious steaks ( standard or Wagyu) cooked to perfection. Some great side dishes too, but should absolutely serve crusty bread! Very friendly and efficient staff, good value, highly recommend. Make sure to have a reservation!

Amazing staff and great steak. They made our visit very special. We were celebrating our son’s birthday and had booked the very expensive roof top restaurant / bar the Nest but got turned away because he was only 20 and their policy is no under 21’s. So went here instead and so glad we did. We had the best time. Very lovely staff. Food was delicious and we will be back. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, great food! We enjoyed our food, from the steaks prepared as ordered, to cheeseburgers, to some really amazing sides—the garlic mash with crispy marrow bits was delicious as was the truffle Mac and cheese. The salads were fresh and drinks refreshing. We had a lunch reservation and enjoyed a nice side table. The ice cream on the way out was delicious and a nice surprise.

Buen sitio para cenar. Fuimos 2 adultos y 2 niñas pedimos 2 steaks y 1 hamburguesa y de acompañamiento patatas fritas y crema de espinacas. La carne estaba muy buena, las raciones son normales, no muy abundantes pero para el precio genial. A las niñas les encantó el recibimiento con palomitas. ¿Y el postre? Déjate sorprender.

Came here with a colleague and as per their website was told that a walk in was best if not able to book so we arrived about 19:00 and were told about a 45 minute wait. No issues, we went to the pub for a drink. Text arrives and we go to be shown downstairs to ours seats. There’s 3 other tables that are empty and during our hour long meal they are never filled. By time we leave the whole downstairs is nearly entirely empty and there’s still people queuing to get in. Is this a marketing thing to increase demand? Surely better to actually fill and flip the tables. Very confusing. Service wise we seemed invisible to our waitress, didn’t take our drinks order for 25 minutes, never bought us the complimentary snacks, we went and got some ourselves. The steak was good and the prices are reasonable but the waitress forgot one of ours sides, bit strange when we only ordered three. Hardly a complex order but what did arrive was nice and well cooked. Bill came to under £70 for two beers, glass of wine and steak each with 3 sides. If the serving process and the service was better I’d revisit in the future but doubt I’ll make it a priority.

Quick, inexpensive meal. We each enjoyed the steak (two regular, two Wagyu) and salads with mashed potatoes and chips. Steaks were tender and portion was good. Mashed potatoes were excellent and salads were fresh. Definitely more quick service than high-end meal, but good value for the money. Delicious salted caramel soft serve served as you are leaving - my teenagers asked to go back just for the ice cream!

Amazing! Can’t believe we haven’t been sooner! My mum and I visited, and we had a lovely Marlon at the door . He was charming and so friendly, and made our experience impeccable. Inside the restaurant a blonde waitress continued are incredible experience and kindly talked us through the menu. The food was incredible. Our favourite was the garlic mash! The cocktail selection was great as well. We loved the simple menu and speedy service! Thank you to everybody in the Marylebone branch for making it such a special experience, and we cannot wait to come back very soon! Went for lunch and found the place had a nice vibe to it - waiter was really chatty and service sharp. The steaks were done to perfection and the chips were really good. Triple cooked I think. I liked the little added bonus of a free ice cream on the way out. Good prices as well even incl the 12.5% tip added on automatically.

This place is amazing the staff are all super friendly (special shout out to Marlon ) who gave me one the flat irons signature knives that you eat your steak with. very cute and amused me , the atmosphere is relaxed ,the food is delicious ,its good value for money will be going again very soon ,had a lovely evening . We ordered the flat iron steak with lots of sides, plus a wagu beef to share. Two of the steaks very so chewy that they barely were cutable. We had the kitchen remake them, it took so long that all the rest of the food was cold when they came. They came back just as chewy as the first time. We asked for more sauce for the steaks, we didn’t want new sides as they were not that great and were cold as well. The waiter said all orders come in the row they have been taken. So there would be a long wait for new sauces. We didn’t want to wait 1 hour for sauce, so we didn’t order. Like mentioned we ordered a wagu beef for sharing, the first time it arrived it was cooked welldone even though we ordered it medium rare like the waitress recommended. The second one was cooked rare, almost still blue. We asked for the check, and was told we had been given a discount on the meats that was remade. I assume that if the kitchen doesn’t delivered the cook you have ordered, they redo it free of charge. After talking to the manager I ended only paying 1 time per meat. Everybody left with a bit of tummy-tumbling for the rest of the night and the day after. Probably because I saw one of the cooks come out of the bathroom without washing his hands

Dreadful food / dreadful service: possibly THE worst meal i've had this year. Not sure where to start.. they had no chips..yes, no chips in a steak and chips restaurant...you can't make this up. We got a horrible sloppy serving of mash. Awful and a tiny portion. I ordered medium steak, it came medium rare and cold. They don't do puddings and don't dare ask for coffee, they don't do that either and, er, don't ask for the bill cos that's not coming quickly. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Simply awful. (pictured chips - don't actually exist :))

Had dinner here tonight, and we’re so glad we booked it. You receive complimentary popcorn when you arrive, which is delicious while you enjoy a drink. Raspberry Bellini recommended! We had a Scottish bavette and a Flatiron Steak for main/entree, accompanied by mashed potato, creamed spinach, and roasted vegetables. Superb! The service was excellent, helpful and attentive but not overbearing. Really good atmosphere. When you are finished a complimentary ice cream cone is offered. We really enjoyed the meal!

We ordered the steak and the béarnaise burger (which were cooked perfectly), the creamed spinach, beef dripping chips and the mash. We were walk-ins on a Saturday evening at 6pm and were seated very promptly - within 30 mins. Staff were friendly, however it was a shame the ice cream machine was broken. We were given tokens to come back for free ice-cream another time!

My partner and I had an amazing meal. Staff extremely knowledgeable about the steaks they had on offer and helped us make our choices. Our steaks arrived in minutes and lived up to expectation. We also throughly enjoyed the chips and mash. My partner ordered the local pilners and I had the nero d'avola, both were excellent. If you want a super quick, perfectly cooked, unfussy steak meal, then we definitely recommend.

I was a big fan of this place when it first opened in Beak Street years ago. The meat was fantastic, the sides too. Second time I dine at Flat Iron since Covid and the quality has massively gone downhill. My steak was almost cold, chewy and somehow greasy. I struggled to cut it. The spinach was finely chopped and tasteless, the chips for smaller and nothing like they used to be. I am very sad the quality has dropped. I understand prices have gone up but this was shockingly bad food. Service good as usual.

We booked a table one week before and when we arrived we were seated in the basement. I assume this was due to the fact that we had our 5 year old with us since there were several tables available upstairs. We got up and left and will certainly not return.

The food was good, as expected, but we were annoyed and disappointed about two items in particular. Firstly, the bill included an (optional) service charge, but also an (optional) "donation". We had no idea that this additional "donation" would be applied - or why, or to whom. I asked the waitress who the "donation" was for, but she did not know. "To a charity" she said, but she did not know which one. I was unhappy about this, but felt pressured to pay the bill regardless, which I did. Secondly, the ice cream machine was out of order. My brother and I were looking forward to this following our meal, but we were only told that this was not available until our bill was presented to us. Disappointing.
