We had a great meal, steak was perfect, wine was excellent and the service was friendly. I would definately recommend.

I don't really like the fact the steak was served on a wood board. It doesn't feel very clean. I also found the pricing a bit too high with the portions served.

I really like this restaurant, the menu is very simple and reasonable. There were three steaks on offer last night and a choice of sides. That's it, very simple, you go there for a steak. I thought the price was very reasonable and the portions were spot on. If you are expecting huge steaks this isn't going to be for you. But I'm a biggish chap and felt the portion size was just right, the steaks were perfectly cooked and the buttered leaks were delicious. Chips were great too. I even had room for a couple of drinks afterwards. Our waitress was excellent, friendly and efficient. I will definitely be going back, all four of us were very satisfied with what we had.

Amazing service. We went here today for the usual flat iron and found the pop up which this restaurant is, was different from the usual. The lovely waitress Dominique talked us through it all explained everything and sold it well. And the food was as amazing as expected like the other restaurants. The price was great and the food was better than expected for the cost great value. What made this visit for us was the customer service we received from Dominique it was second to none and she is an asset to that business. Thanks again!

Stylish young restaurant with good service. My steak was cooked just the way I ordered, but unfortunately, it was small and very chewy. We had no starter or desserts and it was still a big bill. Another thing I have not seen before is adding small charitable donations to some items on the menu. Its only pennies but still feels bit of a cheek. There are cheaper and better places for a steak.

Fresh and stylish restaurant, looks new. Good attentive service and they cooked the steak just how I like it. Free fries and salad top ups are available. That said, the streak was small, very chewy, and not good quality. We had no starter or dessert and for what we actually had it was very expensive.. There are much better places for steak.

Great pop up restaurant in the Flat Iron chain. Set menu of bavette steak, chips and salad (with a vege option) Bavette steak isn’t my favourite however we ordered it medium rare as per the recommendation and it was delicious. Great popcorn cooked in beef dripping whilst we were ordered and we enjoyed a magnum of Barbera D’Alba. Great wine choice. Would highly recommend and hope they convert to a permanent restaurant.

Having previously been to a more central flat iron I came here with a friend after raving about how good It was. The waitress was friendly. Popcorn provided and a bottle of water. However was disappointed to note the menu just had one set choice which was more expensive compared to the others and didn't give you the choice of sides and extras. The bernaise sauce didn't get touched by either myself or my friend. The chips came in a shared bowl which was a bit strange given the £18 tag would have liked to have our own pots. Great thay they are bottomless. The steak was nice but this time it wasn't as mice as at previous visits. The wine was expensive £10 a glass although nice. Definately more pricier due to location but not as enjoyable.

This is by far the least impressive of all the Flat Irons I have so far visited. It's a rather cramped basement which on a lunchtime shortly after its opening had tables filled with loud city types some with heavy American accents, many of whom were simply loud and heavy. Whereas at all other branches there is a flatiron steak available for £10 (chips or vegetables such as spinach extra) and usually a couple of specials, here all that was on offer was a bavette steak with chips and sauce for £18. Although the steak was from specially sourced Angus cattle from Ayrshire my portion was a bit scraggly. There was no popcorn. Three types of red wine full details of which are described on blackboards such as "soil type" except the price are sold primarily by the magnum (hence the sharing tables). I stuck to a 2/3rds pint of beer for £4. Service was a bit stretched. These were doubtless teething troubles characteristic of a soft opening. But there was no soft opening. The description of this place on the menu as a "pop up" suggests at some stage, however, there may well be a soft closing.
