Total rip off. Couldn't make the booking due to one of the parry being ill so arranged a takeaway instead. Charged exactly the same price despite only the chef having anything to do with the meal. No service required as we collected it. Under no circumstances will visit ever again. Shamelessly ripped off despite trying not to cancel the booking entirely, which we could have done.

Whinning and barking are not condusive to eating. Stay away if you don't appreciate dogs in a restaurant. Food was also average, and that's been very kind

Does what it says, but does it well. Food was excellent, service good and price very reasonable. If I have one negative then its "please wipe down the outside furniture after the seagulls have been to visit.!"

Visited here for a week day lunch with a friend. First impressions were good- themed decor, friendly staff and varied menu. Unfortunately the food let it down. I had burritos which consisted of cold wraps stuffed with mince ( some in massive clumps) and rice but pretty bland. My friend had the steak philly sandwich where some of the meat was so tough she couldn't chew it. At £12- £14 not particularly cheap and would have expected better quality. A shame as setting good but can get better food at other establishments on that strup.

Excellent food and service here and this is from someone very hard to please by my own admission. Best coffee I’ve ever tasted so much so I called in when passing today for a carry out coffee. Sunday lunch looks amazing so desperate to return and try. I advise booking on a weekend. Big plus is 4 legged humans are welcome….

What a find delicious food very friendly staff and dog friendly too with a doogy menu so everyone gets a treat weather its a hot drink or cold which i did take advantage of so mine was a guinness. It really is worth a visit and i will definitely be returning.

My family and I stopped by for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Great service, good food. No complaints to be fair. Recommend the club sandwich.

This is the third time I've visited this welcoming establishment in the last month! The coffee is really lovely and there is an excellent variety of hot drinks, staff are clearly clued up and I'd far rather pop here than costa for a cuppa! Today and my previous visit I have had food. Today I met my friends for breakfast and we all opted for various dishes, I had a bacon and sausage sarny which was lovely and reasonably priced too. I had a jacket potato on my previous visit and had no complaints then either. The food is really nice and good quality and portions. The staff have always been so welcoming and friendly as well as efficient! ... unlike another very close by cafe/bar! We were able to book a table for 7 without issue and everything was plain sailing. The reason I have given 4 star and not 5 is due to the temperature of the vicinity... on every occasion I've visited it has been freezing cold inside to the point it feels as though air con is turned on, its bizarre as the door closes and as such I have no clue how its as cold even when packed with customers. Today we all ended up putting our outercoats on to eat. The temperature would has not and will not put me off from revisiting again however is worth mentioning if you do pop in for food and feel the cold, bring an extra cardy and enjoy!

My wife and I held our 40th anniversary at The Armoury. They put on a fantastic buffet for us – our family and friends all thought the food was superb. The team looked after us tremendously well.

Absolutely smashing fish and chips, the home made chips were delicious and the fish was done perfectly. Service was excellent, everyone was so friendly and the place was dog friendly which made it even better! The design of the place is heart warming too. Will definitely be back in the future!

Great food good company and helpful staff. Would recommend big breakfast, we will return for Dinner.

Lovely breakfast. Everything was cooked fresh and the quality was great. I had scrambled eggs but was jealous of the hubby’s poached. Can’t wait to come back. Service was fab too

Very helpful service and a warm welcome. Great value and delicious food. Accommodating as we had a dog and a baby. The restaurant is quite tight on space but they make the most of the space and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Would recommend.

A great Sunday lunch - my friend had beef and I had the nut roast. We both really enjoyed our food. The vegetables and Yorkshire pudding were marvellous.

Called in today with Son and Grandson and their Cockapoo as it is a dog friendly environment. My Son and I had the Broth with a wonderful warm bun....home made proper BROTH. Grandson had Cheese toasted sandwiches with homemade chips...chocolate fudge cake and cream for desert...3 flat whites and 2 cokes. Why have I not visited here before....absolutely fantastic with lovely cheerful waitresses....and very good value for money...WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Called in for two Americano coffees this afternoon on a motorbike visit calling in to see the Tommy sculpture. The flanders cafe was attractive with names and images on the walls which resonated with the location by the Tommy artwork memorial Welcoming and the coffee...

Good coffee, tea, scrumptious bacon and black pudding. Very dog friendly and lovely staff, outside seating nice as lovely view while you enjoy your breakfast. Will confess didn't try main menu meal but if anything like breakfast it'd be good.

Called in whilst visiting Seaham for the day. We were served by two very pleasant waitresses and my meal was ok. Menu quite extensive and nice pleasant surroundings.

Planned to go to the Lamp Room with a friend visiting from abroad, but service had just stopped when we arrived at 3pm. Thought we'd have a drink at Flander's while we decided where to eat, had a look at the menu and decided to...

Part of the burger was dry and solid hard ( un edible ) , the rest of the meal was fine , no apology or discount , plenty of other eateries in Seaham so won’t be going back

Freshly prepared, beautifully flavoured and presented meals: The vegan pie - cauliflower and lentils with chips and peas is to be recommended. The toasties were oozing with flavors and fillings. Canine friends are also spoilt. Atmosphere and ambience relaxed, welcoming, and friendly. Vegans, veggies, meaties...

On the Seafront just opposite the Green and "Tommy". Service was quick, staff were friendly and helpful. Lunch was delicious. There was plenty to choose from. The added bonus of "real" chips too. We sat outdoors in the sunshine. Lovely. Highly recommend.

Stopped by today for lunch. The menu offered healthy eats and accepted dogs. Great home cooked food, welcoming staff in a friendly atmosphere.

Probably my 5th visit recently and couldn’t complain about anything. Friendly service, tasty food and great location. It is fab to have an affordable spot with a fab atmosphere on Seaham seafront. 🖤

Enjoyed different fish dishes that also came with nice fresh salad, crispy chunky chips & peas. Whilst service was slightly slow thoroughly enjoyed meal. Good position on front overlooking Tommy memorial . Good selection of drinks but no alcohol free beer which was a shame.

Wow the best club sandwich I have ever had. Popped in for a light bite we’re we surprised ordered two sandwiches club and a ploughman’s, I asked for side of fries the young lady said it came with a few on the side. Couldn’t believe...

Went to Flanders today with my family ,we were very impressed with the new Head Chef , food well presented and tasty,very quick service and very friendly staff,will definitely be back to see what more you have in store,well done all
