Went for breakfast today. WOW is an under statement. Could not eat all. And vegan as well was excellent . Will be coming again. Thank you.

Main reason we went in was because it was dog friendly. I had avocado on toast which I would not recommend- it was clearly avocado out of a bottle and they gave me such a pitiful amount I could hardly even tell it was there. The rest of my group had a variety of different breakfasts and all of their food was fine.

Had a large full English Breakfast and they had a fried bread option, which was great. Food was good quality and reasonable value. Service was quick in this lovely little, dog friendly cafe on the seafront at Seaham. Definitely worth a visit.

Great that dogs are allowed. My fish and chips were lovely. My friends thought their burgers were a bit over done.

I don't really know where to start with this place. I wasn't sure whether it was table service or order at the bar, and apparently no body new. I asked at the end and was told it was table service. You wouldn't have guessed that from the fact not a single member of staff decided to leave their conversation with their mates to come and attend to the customers. We sat for around 30mins before my wife went to place our order. The next thing once we had placed our order and drinks we were left completely unattended again. When they finally decided to bring our coffee over it was cold. We watched several couples come in, sit down then leave without ordering anything. Honestly the absolute worst experience of "table service" I have ever recieved. The food arrived cold due to it been prepared by the kitchen then the front of house not bringing it out. It tasted good too which is a real shame it has potential but very, very poor customer service. I dont think the youngsters working their had any form of training and were more bothered about planning their bank holiday weekend then attending to the customers. No wonder the place was empty.

3 times iv tried to order here on just eat and each time they reject my order. If you dont deliver in my area then why show up in the search? Only restaurant that this happens with and its a shame as the food does look good but clearly poor admin.

Absolutely disgusting and shocking service from the staff. Tried to raise an issue with our Sunday roast sent a young girl out and came across straight away as defensive. Owner then came out who again came out hostile and spoke in a disgusting manner to us and would not validate the issue we had. Will not be returning.

Came in at 15:50 to sit and wait until 16:01 for the waitress to say they'd stopped serving food at 16:00 without informing us when we walked in, instead stood and waited at the bar waiting for the time to go past 16:00

Horrible place with horrible food and rude staff! Manager was very unaccommodating and quite aggressive when we complained about the standard of the food. Would not go here ever again.

Disappointing breakfast yesterday. Preaching about 'affordability' on there socials, £12 for a full english which consists of, undercooked poached eggs, very low quality sausages, cheap and nasty toast and fatty bacon. Coffee wasn't bad but the breakfast as a whole was laughable (I wont get on to the eggs benedict as it was even worse)... back to clean bean or the lamp room which are both better in terms of quality/service and price.

We were there today for our Sunday lunch and it was really nice and service was second to none really good atmosphere

Just been to Flanders and had lunch. It was delicious, their home cooked chips are the best, the staff are wonderful and very helpful, I have dietary problems but they were happy to assist, well worth every penny, will definitely be returning there.

Lovely restaurant with a great view . They allow dogs which is great and they have a bigger than usual vegan menu for a non vegan restaurant. Highly recommend.

Popped in for a bevvy and some tea but food finished at four today so missed out but very nice place would higly recommend, ☺️

Recommended by a local, it turned out to be a complete disaster. 30 minutes before the waitress comes to get our order, another hour of wait for our food. Crust of the (small) pie was rock solid, waitress didn't mention that they didn't have all the ingredients of what we ordered. We noticed another waitress running to the shop next door to get some bread and some other random stuffs... Highly disappointed!

We didnt enjoy our visit to flanders seaham. The pea soup appeared like scrapings off the bottom of the pot. The waitress gave my nana a cup of boiling water without a handle to heat up/water down her soup.... she ate half and left the rest. I complained to the manager whose response was "it's the first complaint we've had all day, there's nothing wrong with it because she ate half". I politely asked for it to be removed from the bill but he refused; raising his voice and wanting to start an argument. My nana didn't want to make a fuss, but the manager is taking advantage of the older generation belittling her experience in his restaurant.

Popped in this afternoon for coffee and cake, really warm welcome ,coffee and cake were spot on and the decor is lovely, will be back.

Staff were really friendly, dog friendly place, easy access and parking across the road from it right next to the Tommy statue which is outstanding. It's clean, small with a good variety of food healthy and naughty. Worth a visit.

We were cycling through Seaham and decided to stop for a coffee, but which cafe? So glad we chose Flanders. We got the last seats in the place which were next to the window overlooking Tommy. We were immediately impressed with the staff, who were friendly, personable, attentive and charming. The decor complimented the theme of the cafe and added to the good atmosphere in the place. The food was plentiful and delicious. We will return. Highly recommended.

Exactly how it should be. A warm welcome from friendly staff and owner. Lovely food and coffee that you can enjoy hot. They even allowed us to order a breakfast outside their normal serving hours. A*. I don't live in area, but will be back.

Delicious breakfast, great coffee and an awesome environment - beautifully decorated and the music was a great mix of older and newer songs we couldn't help but have a little dance whilst eating our food. & it's dog friendly too!

Visited flanders today, on the sea front in seaham, and I must say what a little hidden gem it is, popped in straight from a football match with my sister and mam, so not your usual outfit to go to an eatery, but I will say the welcome was fab, and to add to this once we got in I was absolutely delighted to see a little cockerpoo sat with her family also enjoying a meal, I'm certainly coming back with my little fur baby 😊. The decor inside is lush, everything fits together nicely, and the artwork is ace. Very clean, friendly service, and lovely to see happy faces behind a uniform. Nothing but great service received today from everyone. Now to the food. I ordered the full english breakfast as it was just before dinner, it was absolutely spot on, I'm a very picky eater, but once my order was taken at the table and I chose what I did and didn't want on my plate my food arrived in a very efficient time scale, it was cooked to perfection and very delicious, loved the way the toast was served on a separate plate, and the beans in a little dish, nothing worse than a soggy hash brown 🤦‍♀️ thankfully not the case here. Once finished and our plates were taken away, I mentioned to the waitress to pass my compliments to the chef, i always pass on credit where credit is due, however her response was that she wasn't their usual Head chef, and had just stepped up from front of house to help out in these struggling circumstances, and I will say what a fabulous job she is doing, so I said to pass on special compliments to Claire 10/10 and as I said I will be back again 100% great place, great staff.

Went with the family, food was amazing, I had Double Wagyu Tower Burger, with Cheese, Jalapeños, Onion Rings on Brioche, it was so tasty, one of the best burgers I have had, everything cooked to perfection, Pizzas were great and my 4 year old daughter loved her fresh fish goujons in golden crispy batter, my wife had the Fajitas which were equally as delicious. A hidden gem in Seaham, we will definitely be back

Our first time and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was so friendly and professional, the food was excellent and fresh and they were so welcoming to our dog. They also have sausage and egg treats for dogs as well as puppacino's! Having just moved to the area, it will be one of favourite places to visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Popped in here today after driving the coast route and WOW, Ice the Husky wasn’t only welcome she was cuddled and given treats so mega bonus to start, food was great, I had the explosive burger and mum had the gammon steak and both were great, what made the experience was the staff were fantastic and friendly and courteous, fabulous, what more do you need great food and dog friendly 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 5 stars from me

Ordered a Latte and a Mocha, seemed to take ages to come, but great little cafe. Friends ordered other stuff and where super happy with portion size and flavours, felt well fed! Get yourself there👍👍

Went in for food. Waited for a bit. I feel like they should have separated sauces on the nachos. One friend got her chilli really spicy. One friend had a hair in their food and so did mine. I also had a fly in my food.Fish was dry and nothing salted. Sticky toffee pudding was good. Waited for about 20 minutes for the waitress to charge us for the food though.

Went for breakfast. Impeccable 5 star service from the waiting staff and 5 star food. Typical Northern, warm hospitality and all the staff wore face masks which shows respect for our current situation. EXCELLENT.

Just popped into Seaham whilst travelling further up north. Dropped in for a bite to eat and had a brilliant breakfast and tuna melt with chips. Lovely food and very friendly and polite staff. Definitely worth a visit

A massive shout out to Andy and his team. Took my mam in this morning, after the Seaham RBL Centenary celebration (next to Tommy & the cenotaph). Andy gave us all free tea & coffee. What a star, especially as he's been out of business during the Covid19 pandemic. We had a couple of meals & I can honestly say, both the food & service were great. Mam said the toilets were spotless too 😁. Definitely recommend this if you enjoy good food, friendly service and clean toilets 😉👍
