Flamingo in South Staffordshire

Excelente cocina fresca! Excelente servicio cortés! Siempre disfruté cada comida (durante décadas) que comí o entregué. Nunca hemos tenido ningún problema, y soy muy pedante cuando se trata de estándares de comida. TOTALMENTE ignorar las dos críticas anteriores - no puede ser posiblemente el mismo restaurante!

Hemos estado viniendo a este restaurante desde que recuerdo - cerca de 30 años. Después de anoche no volveremos. Nunca me han hablado y tratado de una manera tan misógina por el “gerente” del restaurante. Habíamos reservado hace más de 3 semanas para una celebración de cumpleaños para una fiesta de edades mixtas. Habíamos pedido una mesa central que nos permitiera suficiente espacio. El gerente admite que teníamos, pero otra mesa más grande reservada, así que les dio preferencia. Este fue el comienzo. La mesa no estaba despejada o lista que nos asignaron, así que tuvimos que esperar casi 15 minutos después de nuestra hora de reserva. Así que los globos y la bandera, etc. para el cumpleaños no se podían colocar antes de la llegada de los invitados. No te disculpes. Luego nos apretaron en una cabina demasiado pequeña para la fiesta, sin el número correcto de cubiertos. Había intentado hablar con el pesebre varias veces, pero él solo sonrió. Deduzco que como era una mujer, la sonrisa y la ausencia de responsabilidad por arruinar nuestra velada se habrían abordado de manera muy diferente si mi marido hubiera estado allí. El otro personal estuvo de acuerdo con lo que yo había dicho, pero declaró que no podían hacer nada, ya que él era el gerente. Siento lástima por el personal, que trabaja a sus órdenes, ya que solo está interesado en tomar la mayor cantidad de dinero posible en detrimento de la calidad y el servicio al cliente. En todos mis años de visita nunca lo había visto antes, y ahora puedo entender por qué. Aparte de la falta de sabor y calidad de las comidas, no se debe permitir su comportamiento y actitud. Vivo en el lugar y no he tenido una comida para llevar de aquí durante un par de años. Lamento decir que no volveré por años más. Fue un placer del sábado por la noche, justo antes de £ 35 para compartir un entrante básico, 2 currys principales y compartir un ajo nan. Los entrantes del paquete de cordero no eran comestibles (el que tenía la boca llena fue escupido). El curry Special Mix era sabroso, pero solo 1 pedazo de cordero, 1 pedazo de langostino y 2 pedazos de pollo. El Bombay Sorpresa fue marginalmente mejor. El ajo Naan era tibio, aunque para ser honesto nunca viajan bien para una comida para llevar. Por primera vez en la historia, de cualquier comida india para llevar cuando se gasta esa cantidad de dinero, no hay artículos de cortesía, ni siquiera papadoms. Mientras esperaba la comida, miré el menú del día de Navidad y me preguntaba si eso podría ser un pensamiento. Lo siento No... Bah idiota y todo eso.

This place is always consistently good. With at least 24 hours notice the owner will cook any special requests; we had the goat curry, beef shathkora recently. Food always fresh and tasty and the service is brilliant. Cobra on draft and a decent wine list.

We eat at Flamingo Pink a few times every month. The service is always great (Lebs is a legend!), the food is fantastic. Our favourite dishes are the chicken or prawn jalfrezi or the Shashlick. Always a warm welcome & wonderful food. Would recommend to anyone.

On the 8th of January 2022 we decided to give the flamingo pink restaurant a try as we’ve recently moved to the area of perton. My wife placed an order which came to the price of £43. We waited an hour for our food to then be told that they never received our order. After a long and useless phone call I decided to go down to the restaurant, when I walked in I’ve never seen so much disorganisation in all my life orders were being written on random bits of cardboard on the counter they had orders everywhere which were falling on the floor knightmare. After much arguing they wouldn’t give us our money back or any food so word of warning DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!

I am not one to normally write reviews to bad mouth a restaurant but after my experience last night at Flamingo Pink I felt like I had to right a review. I would also like to mention that we as a group of friends always like experiencing new places to eat and do so frequently.I went to the restaurant with eight other people last night (29/11/13). We arrived and were the only people in when we came to order. After Ordering drinks we then all decided what we wanted to eat so began to order. out of the 9 of us 2 of the girls had decided they didn't want a full meal and asked if they could have a starter instead to be brought out at the same time as the main, which at the time we were told is fine as they were having 2 sides (a naan bread each), popadoms, a bottle of wine and a soft drink. Everyone else had ordered and the last person to order asked if he could have the starter brought out at the same time with a naan bread and rice to which we were told "You cant just expect order a starter and expect to sit here all night while everyone else has mains i can only let 1 person off with having a starter instead of a main" to which we tried to explain to him that 2 people had already done this so it clearly wasn't true as he was the only person taking our order. he then started snapping at us saying "okay only 2 people then". Genuinely stunned by how rude and plain belittling he had been we asked him to please cancel the rest of the order and we will pay off the drinks and popadoms. We did so and left and will not be coming back. Between us we would have probably spent £12 a head MINIMUM so just over £100 all in all and they lost business down to being downright rude and ignorant. Ended up going to Codsall Spice a local competitor and must say wasn't disappointed Brilliant food and service. I hope that Flamingo Pink retrain their staff in manners and hospitality as we received non. Genuine let down.

Como todos sabemos la comida aquí es de buena calidad y muy sabroso, en esta visita teníamos los siguientes platos principales: king gambas samba, gambas pathia king y una cama king gambas dupiaza. En mi opinión, el restaurante sufre de un menú más complicada y quisiera apostar algunos de los platos que no ha visto la luz del día durante muchos años. Nuestra visita fue más mimados por la mesa no limpiaran y los menús de postre arrojadas en la cima del arroz y naan escombros que todavía estaba en la mesa. El hecho de que sólo 4 mesas tenía gente en restaurantes en mostró el personal era apenas se apresuraron a sus pies y para limpiar la mesa estaba demasiado esfuerzo ?dicen que nunca te una segunda oportunidad de hacer una primera impresión, así que nos dio flamencos 3 posibilidades. Parece que algunas personas nunca aprenden :(

Flamingo Rosa es sorprendentemente bueno. digo esto como cuando visité por primera vez el restaurante no me esperaba mucho en un lugar en el medio de Perton, sandiched entre Sainsburys y el pub.Tengo que decir que aunque es relativamente caro comparado con otros restaurantes indios pero una ganga si ponerlo junto a la Bilash en la ciudad, la calidad de la comida es muy buena.no pidas las opciones en inglés en el menú. Estas no son tan bueno pero es un restaurante indio que no una tienda de chips, que está a la vuelta de la esquina así que si quieres pollo con patatas, ir allí.pedí la Tikka Massala y comenzó con una salteados. Ambos deliciosos. podría incluso comparar el Massala al Bilash en Wolverhampton, que está considerada como la mejor en Wolverhampton, y también la más cara.en general el ambiente en el interior es bueno, el personal amable y cortés, y la comida es buena. Hemos ido al Flamingo para un número de años y nunca he tenido una mala comida o experiencia. He estado un diner regular aquí desde que abrieron, hace 15 años. Aunque no todas las comidas ha sido tan bueno como debería ser, sólo puedo recordar 2 veces en 15 años no ha estado a la altura. El propietario y el personal son fabulosos, es un lugar fantástico para pasar tanto un curry rápido en un miércoles té y una noche completa de un fin de semana. He celebrado cumpleaños, Año Nuevo, Navidad, así como a un "no puedo ser molestado a cocinar. Muy recomendable.

Siempre muy buena comida servida con una sonrisa. El extenso menú es genial, pero si desea algo distinto, entonces harán todo lo posible para atender su petición. He estado yendo a Flamingo por 15 años o así y todavía es mi restaurante indio favorito!

Hemos visitado este restaurante en varias ocasiones anteriores como pareja y también con amigos y nunca he tenido una mala experiencia. Mis amigos incluso han tomado otros amigos allí, así que debería decir algo sobre la experiencia.La comida es muy bueno y el servicio es excelente. son sin duda en mis Wolverhampton Top 5 restaurantes indios.

Went in after reading review of the restaurant but I was really disappointed because it was like having curry from asda no taste !!! AND THEY COLOURED MY PLATE WITH BLOODY KITCHUP

I went to this restaurant after reading the wonderful reviews. I had a look at the layout of the restaurant and menu before I booked it...did ask 2 be sat in a cosy private area as this was a romantic dinner with my partner. Was advised that wouldn't be a problem. We arrived on time, it was packed and there was only 1 table with 2 seats available...right by the entrance door which blew a cold breeze and was also right by the bar which was also very busy with the takeaway ordering clients and waiters ...we had 2 wait 15 mins before they decided 2 seat us, when I stated there was no privacy and we were being put in the worst place in the middle of lots of people squeezing past...we decided 2 walk...didn't even get 2 eat...maybe that was a good thing!

went to flamingo pink on sunday with my wife,we are both big indian food lovers and decided to go to flamingo pinks after reading all the good reviews given on tripadvisor but i can honestly say that the food at this restaurant is not as good as some people suggest and nowhere near the quality of other restaurants that we have visited after getting our order completly wrong we were very disappointed, the flavour and quality was very poor there is only one restaurant that never fails to live up to expectations and that is SHABABS RESTAURANT IN CANNOCK the quality of the food there is second to none,sorry but flamingo's is not in the same league.

Well what can I say, the reviews were right, excellent food, fantastic service with exceptional service.

We go to Flamingo when we visit our friends in Perton and love it more each time we go. Excellent food and drink, great staff and value for money. We just wish that we lived closer!
