Recently re opened new owners , a lovely atmosphere very clean, beer garden undergoing renovation will be beautiful in summer, not currently offering food but have been advised will potentially be in future

Best food I’ve had in Goa. The service was amazing, the owner brought us out some different sides for the table to try. 100% will be returning tomorrow

We booked 2 weeks in advance. When our party of 12 arrived on the evening they had no idea about our booking but as it was quiet they managed to accommodate us. The place itself is very run down and needs much more than a lick of paint. Staff were friendly but had little idea of about the running of the restaurant or how to manage customers. No atmosphere either. However, food was great which was its saving grace. Won’t go back although food was good. Would probably use for a takeaway.

Very bad pint of Guinness. Wasn't poured properly and tasted stale. Very disappointed. The place needs a revamp as well

We went for an Indian grill but on arrival we found the pub to be nearly empty. Devoid of any atmosphere and very cold with no heating at all. We decided to have a drink which was fine and leave

OMG Can't wait to go back again! I had Claypot lamb and my stepdad had a mixed grill sizzler, it was maybe the best eat in Indian meal or close to that I've ever had tbh, the service was brilliant they couldn't do enough for us, the price was really good too!

We hadn't been in The Why Not for 10-15 years, so when someone told us that it had become a Desi pub we really wanted to try it. We love our Desi food and try all of the places local to us at least once. Tonight we had what was our first try, and probably our last, of The Why Not Inn. On walking in the first impression you get is that the building is tired, it's in need of a makeover, new upholstery, a lick of paint, etc. The welcome was really warm and the young lady behind the bar was lovely. Some of the other staff greeted us also and all looked quite promising. Since there was no Cask ale on I opted for a Coors and my wife had a Strongbow, you can't go wrong with Keg Larger and Cider right? Wrong! IF they were what they were labeled as they certainly didn't taste like it! Infact we both found them undrinkable, and after trying eachothers beverage we decided that if this was an example of the fare then it was probably a good idea not to eat there! So we didn't even try the food, the drinks were enough to put us off. We left our almost full glasses on the bar, told the lady behind the counter that they were not right, accepted the loss of the £7 odd that the drinks cost and left. I really wanted it to be a good experience but, for me, first impressions mean everything. So sorry Why Not Inn its only a one star. Nice staff but if the beer is anything to go by.......

The food here was amazing, loved the mix grill The portions are really big and the service and staff was great will definitely be returning

No taste to the meat. Fish pakora was raw. The chicken had congealed indicating it had been cooked twice. AVOID.

Only been a couple of times. Very quiet during the day. Curry prices are a bit higher than other places we've been.

Best food best drinks overall,family atmosphere and fabulous company I have to say the food is bang on! Go and try for yourself

Decent enough grill , nice and spacious ! Lots of parking and sports shown , nice selection of drinks on tap ! Grill not as big as other places for what you pay but still decent !

Been here several times in the last 6 months. The food is very nice, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Any queries about menu dishes are available, we have been able to modify slightly when ordering. I'm quite happy to revisit The Why Not Inn agsin in the future.

1st time eating here. Definatly be returning. Mixed grill, tikka massalla, lamb saag, fish curry, can't say how much my family enjoyed all the dishes. Sevice was very good. The fish curry amazing defo worth a try 👍

It was ok. Nothing really to shout home about. Food was rather bland, not as good as some other desi pubs I've visited.

Ordered a mix grill, to pik up at 5:30, In my opinion that food had not been cooked fresh, missing poppodomes, only 2 meagre mint sauce, my partner chicken was chewy, £30 down the pan, never again

Sunday 13/09/20 @ 19.30pm Phoned for a takeaway! prompt to answer the phone. Said hr plus for delivery but 25mins for collection! Reasonably price. We really enjoyed all the food. Only let down was a prawn in chicken tikka dish! 🙉 Otherwise very good n would definitely order again. Thanks to all staff! 👍👍👍

Fabulous food. Very generous portions and friendly staff. Downside was the rather long wait for food. However considering they were very busy and there were two large parties in , it didn't spoil the evening. Will definitely return.

Nice old school pub with a good mixed grill. Fresh with just the right about of spice. Friendly staff and quick service.

Lots of potential for this place but was disappointed with our family visit tonight. Over priced, dated decor that needs a drastic boost, lovely staff trying their best but the decor, over prices and food just don't match up. It needs to make its mind up if its a pud for the locals or a serious restaurant and go for it. I would not recommend at the moment which is a shame as this place has bags of potential.

Went for Sunday dinner ...poor portions....we felt we were given little bits ie 1/4 Roast potato ...a tablespoon of mash ....they obviously were running out of food ... never go again

It was an excellent place years ago. It gradually changed to a not popular place. It appears to be picking up again. I hope that it does.

Quiet Monday night, few in beer extremely cold for bitter! Looks clean but feeling under edge of tables sticky not cleaned to well, like a port hole window cleaner. Car park not lit so easy to trip in pot holes. Food hygiene rsting 4 awarded 19 Jan 2019

Being a resident of broad lane for a long time the only thing that changes with this pub is the owners. The current owners are nice and the staff are a lot more pleasant.
