pizza was bland and donner meat was dry and gritty lots of gristle

kebab meat was not cooked through. got a replacement and this had been put through a microwave or grill. horrible. you order salad for each meal and only get 1 per 2 meals. gone right down hill. was a regular. not anymore.

Delivery person was bad! They said they don't know street address, then repeatedly shouted at my mother "TELL ME YOUR NAME" like a priest would to a possessed person during an exorcism, Then threw food at door and ran through the bush. Mum has been crying and having panic attacks all night because of them

Love this place. Used to live across the road when they first opened probably 20yrs ago and it’s still brilliant. They sent us the wrong pizza tonight ( first mistake in about 100 orders ) and they sent the correct one out really quickly no questions asked - plus a slice of cake to say sorry. Flames is awesome.

We order food for delivery it come cold with thick grease all over the food ,on the paper ,the meet looked as if was dog food

Isaac's wife here doing the review: The delivery gentleman was very polite and friendly. I felt safe when he came at the door (so late in the early hours of the morning at which I ordered the food (2:15am delivery time)). He also didn't knock on the door but called the phone instead so no one else was awaken by the delivery. Very considerate.

Just Eat has not delivered the boys food although Just Eat says they have. No dinner after waiting 1 1/2 hours. And no answer from the restaurant, line is busy.

Placed an order and after an hour of it being late their phone line was unreachable.

I just consumed what was delivered as a pizza. Pizza is a favorite of mine and I've had it all over the World, so I consider myself a but of a connoisseur. That said, this was the worst 'pizza' that I've ever eaten. Not only is it expensive, but the crust was awful, the taste was awful and now that I ate it, I feel like puking. If you want pizza, you'd be better off ordering from Pizza Hut or Papa Johns.

I love my mixed meat & chips and Flames Grill has never failed to deliver an amazing take away meal to put a smile on my face 🙂 The staff are really friendly and the place is nice and clean. Food is always hot and tastes fresh.

Abnormaly small portion in regard to the price, when my food came the delivery drivee ignored my note and woke up my house hold, furthermore when my food came it did taste nice however my kebabs came unassembled as in, the salad , the meat the pitta bread, the sauces, i expected to have a kebab deliverd not a build your own kebab assignment. -rep

Burnt stale chicken we couldn’t cut through. Burnt stale pizza that tasted like rubber. 4 burnt stale shop bought pieces of garlic bread and a box of reheated stale chips. What a waste of £25. Never again

Best pizza and kebab ive ever had the cleanliness is perfect service is also great i would reccomend this place to whoever wants a kebab or pizza cooked perfectly.

Service was quick, ordered via Just Eat. Placed the order at 5 ish and rang the restaraunt to say could it be delivered asap (Just eat was saying 6 pm) the guy I spoke to at Flames said that would be no problem. Food arrived at about 5.30. As usual my Chicken Shish was very tasty, cooked really well. And the salad as usual was more than enough (comes in its own container). Also had the thousand island sauce which is also really really nice. Plus small chips (really really good chips too). My husband had the large Lamb Shish and Chicken Shish Kebab, lots of meat could probably feed a person like me twice over!

Last fri the 21st Jan I ordered 2 mixed donna kebabs the prices had gone up but the meat portions had come down not happy at all won't be returning

Just Good Kebabs, pizzas nice, but don't expect authentic stone baked crispy pizzas, more just a hearty deep pan belly filler.

Had a chicken meat and chips here after a night out not long ago and it was BANGING!!! Much better than rival kebab shops in Bedford, would definitely recommend!

I bought two kebabs and my children found a fly in the donner meat and were immediately sick. I called them and told them there was a fly, and they said okay they will call me tomorrow morning to give me money back or other food. I received a call from them and they told me I was lying you put the fly there, and then when I told him I will bring food and show him the fly he immediately got aggressive and swore at me. I was very polite and he was very abusive. DON’T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! This is absolutely disgusting!

These people make great food. If you see this flames I messed up by not putting our door number on the delivery address. But when the food was delivered it was delicious. I feel I need to apologise however for my mistake, thank you for keeping my order and delivering it when you could.

Since lockdown it has changed owner so I can't really tell what's it like

This used to be an excellent place earlier in the year unfortunately and sadly now its no longer that, terrible customer service arguing with customers and the food is now inedible. Will no longer use this establishment and would recommend others to refrain from spending money here. A sad disappointment.

Extremely poor customer service. I would of left 0 stars, however their isn't a option for that.. Stay away from this corrupt takeaway. Your employees cannot do the simplest of task, and that is to treat customers the correct way. They all need to be fired like other customers have advised.

I gave a one star review recently, which this establishment didn't really deserve. I was disappointed over a certain issue and reacted in a poor manner. However, I ate some humble pie, which was nowhere near as tasty as the food on offer at Flames. I apologised to the manager and I'm happy to continue as a customer. I normally have my meals delivered from Flames, and I usually spend £60 a Month, as the food lasts me a couple of days. About twenty minutes ago I was walking by with my little dog, who, incidentally, has been in there on several occasions,and decided to buy a couple of pizzas and burgers. Guy behind the counter, who I've never seen before says, " You can't bring the dog in." I replied " My dog has been in here many times, as a rule you deliver to me , but as I was walking by decided to pick up some food." So, empty shop, apart from their delivery guy twiddling his thumbs and backing up the guy behind the counter I said " O.K. no skin off my nose, you've lost a customer", which is a shame because I did like their food. So I bought a couple of hustlers burgers from a shop and binged them in the microwave. You don't know the law regarding dogs in premises, I do, as I explained. And, as I told you, you have lost a customer, I'm happy for you that you can turn away custom in the present climate, you obviously don't need the money, and, to be honest, I don't need you. I will go back to Andrea's kebabs who welcome my little dog in their premises, because they know the rules regarding dogs and food premises. Goodbye Flames, thank God there's plenty of choice nearby.

We've been using flames for years and have always enjoyed they’re food however, just lately every time we order, something is always missing from our order. Whether it’s missing sides, salads and sauces for our kebabs, whenever we phone back up and request that they send our missing items, we end up having to wait ages for them. My son is currently waiting for salad and sauce to turn up for his Doner kebab. We have just phoned to complain and the member of staff doesn’t care. Unfortunately This will be the last time we order from them which is a real shame.

This our go to Chicken Kebab Takeaway place we use while on a nightshift we use the delivery service. Have been using Flames for years maybe around 7. Never had a bad chicken kebab chips & salad. We had previously tried many many different places to find the best chicken kebab and when we tried Flames we knew this was THE place & haven't needed to go anywhere else. Superb

They got our order wrong and when I called them they tried to blame it on me and argue back. They also hung up. Terrible customer service and food quality was awful! Would never recommend to anyone.

The food is ok from this place the donner was a bit dry cut and kept before hand. The chips we're really nice. The chilli sauce can do with improving as it is not that great. The staff are friendly make conversation. I will give them another try and try something else of the menu.
