Flames in Sheffield

This place used to be excellent when it first opened, but it's since changed hands and has gone so far downhill it's almost unbelievable. The place is dirty, the staff uninterested and the food awful. Call it a day, you're an embarrassment.

Awful food. Ordered chicken wrap to find 2 chicken nuggets and a scrappy bit of lettuce. Pizza tasted like cardboard and wrong pizzas sent. Took the food back and was told to be quiet while he finished his phone call. AVOID.

if i could rate a 0 i would never go to this place its so bad we ordered mozzarella sticks a cheese pizza garlic bread pizza thing and a chicken rap and chipd the pizza had RED cheese on like what it tasted bland and disgusting we didnt recieve chips or mozzarella sticks and the chicken rap was donna and again it was disgusting it was bland and was like eating lettice we then got drinks we didnt even want instead NEVER go to this place save ur money we tried to phone up on the number on just eat and it said incorrect number on my mums phone we thought it was a fault and tried mine and still no number to complain this is the worst food ive ever eaten

Absolutely shocking. There isn’t even number to ring that still works to speak to them about it. The pizza is literally see-through

I used to order from here regularly and it was very good. Had a long break from takeaways but after a very long day I really wanted one of their pizzas. I placed an order and went about my evening only to look back and see they had cancelled my order! No explanation or apology. An email then informed me a refund could take up to 5 days. Avoid this place at all costs. Such a shame when a previously good place goes down the pan like this.

AVOID THIS TAKEAWAY!. If I could I would rate less than 1 star. There is a reason why this takeaway has such a low rating. No customer service, you're lucky to even recieve your order, they hang up on you if you request a refund for an undelivered order, take your money without delivering the food, you never get what you have ordered, you pay for a certain item and end up with most of it missing, cold food, dry/reheated food. Never arrives by the time you requested. They laugh at you when you request your money back for an order that hasn't been delivered. I'd personally say AVOID and order from somewhere else, you'll get much better customer service and far far better food for your money. I am not saying this because I have had 1 bad experience with this takeaway, on many occasions I have had issues with this takeaway. Happy to take your money but hesitates to actually give you what you paid for. I don't leave negative reviews normally (the last bad experience was the last as i will never order from this place again) but I'm hoping by leaving this review that I can save some people from wasting their money like I did.

Just had a pizza 2 hour wait time No tomato base on the pizza Ate because I was starving Cheers mush

Two hours to deliver. Food arrived cold, squashed and over cooked. Truly awful. Only have options for 1 to 5 stars. Tonight I would if possible rate it lower than 1.

Ordered a tower burger. Apparently should come with a burger, cheese, hash brown & 4 onion rings plus sauce. Came with a burnt hash brown, 1 onion ring, no cheese & no sauce. Absolute rubbish. Cheap but not even worth the money.

Takeaway come cold And stuff missing Wrong toppings pizza and food was not good tonight

Best kebab I’ve had for ages and proper hot chilli sauce unlike other takeaways in area.

The service and the food is excellent.

Waited 2 hours for delivery, both pizzas burnt, one is black. All food cold, rang up to cancel order but no one answered. Overcharged us by £5. Very disappointing. Will not be ordering from here again.

Absolutely 1st class. Takeaways are VERY rare in our house , but I really fancied a kebab. Chose Flames as they were the only one that answered the phone !. Very friendly, repeated order to ensure correct. Said it would be an hour. It arrived in 20mins, I was very happy. The medium kebab was huge, salad fresh and crisp, bread soft and fresh. Large Chicken kebab same , huge pieces of breast, fresh, tasty and was thoroughly enjoyed. Free delivery. Free large garlic bread. Cost ....£11.90 !!!!. Absolute Quality at a mega low price. I'll definitely return and recommend

If I could give zero stars I would. Pizza wasn't cooked didn't seem concerned on phone look forward to them closing anytime soon. Not had anything as disgusting in a long time.

Got order wrong called up to correct it and had nothing but abuse and swearing down the phone at me then only to get barred from ordering again

Since we’ve ordered from flames the service has been brilliant, always on time and friendly, food is amazing. Will always order from here. Never got an order wrong and when you make amendments on certain meals it’s perfect. Great service for all.

Used to order regularly, won't be ordering ever again! Past two times I've ordered they've over charged me for NO reason, when I challenged staff about this I recieve an argument. Food has gone down hill and had parts of order missing with no offer from staff to replace it. Ordered last night only for the same thing to happen AGAIN. Management no longer has respect for long standing customers or any standards for the food they're sending out. Don't order you'll end up 3quid lighter than you expected and highly disappointed with your dinner!

Ordered food at 7.10pm, for me and the kids, 8.40pm and still not here. ...not really good enough for a relatively small order, wont be ordering from there again.

Ordered food on just eat at 7:00, said it would be delivered at 8:10, it then changed to 8:30.Ended up going to shop at gone 9:00 they told me delivery had just gone but when I got home still no delivery. When it did finally arrive it was cold. Will never order from there again.

Feel abit let down by this place, spent loads over the last few months over £100 to be precise, ordered Friday on just eat at about 6:25, rang at 7:25 to find out they’d only just started our food, after 1 1/2 hour in total we finally got our food at 8, I’ve complained to just eat tonight they contacted Flames and all they are willing to offer is a free meal, no thank you

Ordered from flames Sunday night and was disgusted in the food I recieved. Asked for a seafood pizza in which I specified tuna anchovies prawns onions etc. My daughter had a Donna meat garlic bread. When it came the seafood pizza was doughy and undercooked the supposed anchovies ... Were sardines undercooked and oily. The whole thing went in the bin. Donna pizza was rubbery and the free garlic bread tasted like cardboard. Wouldn't have minded them just saying they didn't have the ingredients instead they sent a pile of crap. Will defiantly never be ordering again.

A slightly strange place - located on a dark roundabout in the middle of a housing estate. Place didn't seem particularly clean, and they tried to charge me even though I had paid on just eat. Bit disorganised, but the food was okay and reasonably priced.
