Copper Pot in Sheffield

I was seated at the outdoor area with the menu for about 15-20 minutes this morning around 12ish at Sheffield branch (Division Street) but no one came to take our order. We understand that cafes can be busy and that waiting is sometimes necessary. When a waiter finally came out, I raised my hand to order, but he just ignored us and went to clean a nearby table. Later, he took the order from a table that had just arrived. I found this service very disappointing and disrespectful. We’re regular customers and love the food, even though the prices are a bit high, because the food and coffee are great. Today’s experience was quite upsetting.

I have ordered breakfast from here multiple times and it's lovely every time! I would definitely love to visit in person soon. I highly recommend the french toast with apple and cream!

£4.50 for a pathetic bacon butty (see picture). Bear in mind we also paid an extra £2.20 on top for extra bacon. Most come with one slice of bacon as standard.

What a cracking find this cafe was, superb service and really nice drinks. We didn't eat but the food we saw coming out looked very good too. The Oreo milkshake was spot on according to my other half.

Great food and a nice aesthetic inside also. Almost a spot on except for one staff member, assuming is the owner/manager kind of ruined it. Was very condescending to the other staff members, speaking down to them in front of all the customers. At one point threw a paper towel in to be bin through their heads. All the other staff members were fantastic. So other than this letting the experience down, was good stuff.

Cozy and friendly cafe. Food was decent but nothing fantastic (especially for the price-to-portion ratio), however the coffee is worth returning for. I have been twice and the service is the highlight, they are very friendly and happy to make suggestions. They seem to have an up-selling culture, which is not an issue, but there is a fine line between cheekily suggesting an extra hash-brown and actually prodding, which I felt they came close to. Can get over this though, all in all was decent as long as they are careful.

First time visiting, and I will definitely be going back. The service was amazing from when we first stepped in and asked if they had vegan options, being reassured that they did. I had a lovely iced latte, being able to choose from a selection of milk alternatives and different syrups. Both my sister and I had the mushrooms on toast, with a hash brown on the side. This was also fully vegan. The server even came to check that we didn’t want the last vegan brownie being put to one side for us, just to make sure we had the option. We will definitely be back!

Ordered the veggie full english and a coffee. The coffee was good, the breakfast unfortunately not, as the mushrooms and veggie sausages were lukewarm at best. The hashbrown and scrambled eggs were fine, the avocado as well.

My go to for a smoothie, or hot drink, and the vibes are always good, the workers never fail to be the absolute most lovely every single time, no matter the time, day or weather. Would totally recommend.

Food was great, but really pricey for what it is. £7 for some mushrooms on a piece of toast. Most of the staff were lovely. But one member of staff, a bald man, kept walking around and interrupting everyone's meals. He was SO loud that even when on the other side of the cafe I couldn't hear our own conversation over his voice. Not a relaxing atmosphere whatsoever. Shame because everything else was lovely, only stayed half an hour because of this.

The food is always really good as is the service. The beans are amazing.

Copper Pot. The holy land. The coffee is just divine, probably the best mocha I have ever had. They must have some quality beans! The food was super yum. Good eggs, good bread, good french toast. Would definitely return, and have returned multiple times.

Spent a couple of hours here today whilst waiting for my daughter. Food and service were excellent, (the sausage and eggs were particularly good) and the place steadily filled up from opening time. By the time I left there was a lovely friendly atmosphere. Will definitely revisit.

A bright and bustling little find in the heart of Sheffield, the Copper Pot offers a modest and well rounded menu of breakfast/brunch goodies with a well crafted coffee to boot. We arrived today around midday to find a lively venue, upon entering we were immediately seated and the experience began. We had already spied the menu outside so we had an idea of what we were getting. Our order was a full English breakfast, a Brunch Bagel with bacon and avo, a flat white and a latte. The coffee came quickly and while not the strongest coffee flavour I've had, it was well rounded and had hints of Coco. Beautiful foam art was found on both drinks, I am a sucker for attention to detail. The breakfasts came shortly after and as you can see from the photos, they were generous in size. I had the full English, boasting 2 rashers of streaky bacon, a large sausage, scrambled egg, hash brown, BBQ baked beans, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and sourdough. Everything was packed with flavour, from the salty, crispy bacon to the sausage that literally burst in your mouth. The only thing I was unsure of were the BBQ beans as I'm not a massive fan of smokey bean mixes, however I can say that it wasn't overly smokey which made the flavours more subtle and allowed them to work with, not overpower other elements of the breakfast. Service here was great, one guy pretty much ran the entire front of house, darting around every table, taking orders, greeting and maintenance checking on customers whilst another ran food service. He was engaging and friendly and most importantly, never left you hanging in limbo on service. A number of places we've visited lately could learn from this attitude to work. Definitely a place we'll keep in mind next time we're about Steel City.

Sausage and egg muffins/rolls were very tasty. Fried egg though not scrambled as described on the menu.

Usually its good breakfast but I ordered and the bacon was tasted like it was there for hours and stale,literally bacon was rock hard, everything was cold it looked like they just got all the leftovers and chucked it in a box not very happy especially with what i paid for

This food was probably one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten, the omelette was so flavourful and fluffy and the French toast tasted like Christmas! The cafe was rather empty when we were there and I can’t understand why, if the food is this good. The waitress that served us was so friendly and attentive and I can’t wait to come back again!

I've not been in but I've ordered a lot from Copper pot and it's always beautiful! It's definitely one of my regular places to eat. Uber messed up my order today and it was by no means copper pots fault but they gave us a free Christmas bun for the mess up (which they didn't need to, completely ubers fault) but it was the nicest bun! And so appreciated. Now I have to go in the place and buy more buns!

Quiet, good food, great coffee, just what's needed for a morning pick me up

Excelent option to have breakfast/brunch in Sheffield. They had many options for food and drinks in their menu. The interior is really cozy and they also count with a terrace(at least during summer). We went for the English breakfast and it was delicious, and the coffees as well. The staff was very friendly and super attentive:)

Being new to Sheffield, I stumbled across this place during a morning walk with some colleagues. As a frequent traveller who has had the opportunity to savour many dishes like these, I can happily say that this is THE PLACE! for a fry-up in Sheffield.

The food was really nice, and so was the server - he was really friendly! Awesome little cafe on division street. Portion size was a little let down - not worth the £11.95

Vibrant and bustling place for breakfast with charming staff and exceptional food

Sheffield is a city bursting with incredible places to eat. There is a diverse cast of options with cuisines from around the globe. In such an environment, you might expect a classic English brunch kitchen to find it hard to stand out. As my rating might suggest, the Copper Pot blows that expectation out of the water. For food, the Copper Pot hosts an excellent menu of brunch classics. Of course, it's not a gourmet experience but that was never the point. Hearty, warm food that lifts your spirits is what you'll find here. My personal recommendations are the full English breakfast and one of their fruity smoothies. The Copper Pot's food is fantastic, but the service is somehow even better. The phrase "northern hospitality" doesn't even begin to describe the kind and personal service offered by staff at the Copper Pot. On one of my visits, the kitchen was unexpectedly delayed and meals were slow to arrive. The staff were very upfront about this when we came in, warning is of longer than usual wait times and we even had our bill discounted for the wait. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful with anything you might need. Finally, the atmosphere in the Copper Pot is just lovely. There is always a jovial, homely feeling that creates a sense of comfort in the space. My only gripe would be that things can get cold if you're sat near the door on colder days, but then again that's just Sheffield for you. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Copper Pot as one of the nicest places to get breakfast or lunch in Sheffield. You'll be hard pressed to find better service anywhere in the city and the food will never disappoint. Absolutely 5 stars.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Although very busy the staff were very good at serving everyone speedily and the food came quickly. Was very nice and I will definitely be going back!! The man who served us was really friendly aswell which is always nice!

My go-to cafe! Have been here countless times over two years since my very first date with my boyfriend. Kevin is always a highlight of our visits when we get to see him. Great atmosphere and amazing coffee!!

Ordered breakfast through JustEat which updated and said my order had been delivered but it never arrived, ordered again and then was still waiting. Just one problem after another with JustEat, the restaurant called me as I work in the city centre and said they were sending their staff to personally deliver it to me and it was on the house. A very nice touch and a massive thank you for going the extra mile to get it to me. Finally got my breakfast nearly 2 hours after the time I had chosen for delivery, so was more like lunch, it was cold as it had been waiting for JustEat to collect it, but the presentation, quality and taste was good. At that point I had lost all excitement of treating myself to a nice breakfast so didn’t enjoy it however the staff at the restaurant were lovely and tried their best to sort it! Point being - don’t use JustEat if you are going to order from here. However the breakfast is delicious and well worth the money any other time.

They are on to good to go app everytime I've brought a goody bag they cancel at the last minute that's 4 times they have cancelled plus they also shut at 6pm

Everyone from staff to owner makes you feel like home, very professional, attentive, quick service and great value for price. Delicious brunch, cakes, coffees and breakfast. We are definitely obsessed with the ice chai late, but every time we tried something new we totally enjoyed it. On the top of that the place closes quite late, which works great for us.

We came across this place when trying to get out of the rain on a visit to Sheffield. The food was nice, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere inside was great. A really nice find for some nice simple cafe food, would definitely recommend to anyone passing by!

Food not as advertised, even after asking (missing an egg), and poorly presented (compared to other restaurant/cafe around the area). Service was efficient and smiley, just let down by the food on this occasion.

Been going to Copper Pot fairly regularly since moving to Shef and I can say they really take my top spot for favourite Full English :) Very tasty, esp the beans and toast which I can never replicate at home 😅 Coffee is lovely, whether hot or iced. Friendly staff. Only thing is the inside seating is a bit stuffy for me, so their outdoor area has been my preference but that’s weather dependent. Can’t fault anything else and will definitely keep coming back

We just got the fruit fusion and berry burst smoothies as well as some avocado toast to take away. Everything was decent enough and staff were friendly, the avocado toast was fine but not spectacular and the smoothies tasted fresh. We would come in again :)

It was really lovely experience. We were served by the owner himself. I absolutely loved his personal approach and lovely conversation with him. The whole experience made me feel a valuable customer. The food was excellent and priced reasonably.

This is a pretty popular place for students in the city as they congregate here for breakfast/brunch/lunch, so seating might be scarce during those hours, given the limited space indoor. If you’re sat by the window on a sunny day, ensure you bring sunglasses as the sun will beam down on you the entire time. The customer service was great and friendly, as you’d expect. The food was mediocre, nothing extraordinary, but sufficient for a quick bite. Overall, a nice place to drop by but not out of your way for.

Regularly get takeaway breakfast for here - definitely worth a go, very thoughtfully packaged unlike other cafes and the ingredients used are high quality - would highly recommend.

Recently been to Copper Pot for a brunch with friends. The server treated us as if we were regulars, very easy-going attitude and accommodating. The service was fast, the food was delicious and the place was clean. Vegan options are clearly labelled on the menu (avo / mushroom on toast, sandwiches etc.). A range of dairy free milks and scoffingtons (vegan cakes) are also available. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend this place to anyone!

Not great and definitely gone down hill since the last time we were here. Went for the full English, came really quick and basically some microwaved stuff. The sausage wasn't great and the hash brown was awful, hard and the beans tasted a bit off

When visiting here for coffee & hot chocolate, we were immediately approached by a bellowing bald man who decided we also needed to order cakes. As it felt rude not to, I got one slice of "lotus biscoff" cake to share between 2 of us, which was basically chocolate with a sliver of icing that maybe had a hint of lotus biscoff in, but not enough.. The service was quick and venue was cosy but a bit small and loud - it was hard to hear our conversation as we could also hear everyone else's, as well as the loud bald man squeezing between tables, and in plain sight was the lone miserable looking chef in the kitchen who probably just wanted to get home. We felt like we were being cornered by the bald man again as we were trying to leave when he tried to get us to buy cocktails, despite clearly having already paid, for their overpriced coffees (£12 for two decaf coffees and one slice of cake!), he made us quite uncomfortable like let us leave bro..

Delicious cakes, many vegan options! Had that yesterday. Very cute place. The vegan breakfast is so yummy there! Best one I’ve had so far. If we’d live there we’d definitely be regular customers.

Really pleasant small cafe on Division street, great brunch options and the coffee was really good too. Pleasant atmosphere and quite popular. Brunch burger was absolutely delicious.
