Me and my husband were looking for some place to have lunch on Bank Holiday and came across this place. Vibe inside was nice and it was very busy and lots of people. Coffee was delicious but unfortunately when I started eating my pastrami bagel I noticed a nasty smell, only to open the bagel and find that the meat inside had clearly gone spoilt. It was a patchy dark grey colour. I checked the date on the packaging and it had todays date on so it hadn’t gone past it’s use by, but was clearly out of date, this is concerning. The business needs to keep an eye on this as it can make someone very unwell. During our visit all we could hear was crockery being thrown around behind the counter, not sure if the tall chap was in a bad mood but he was doing the dishes very aggressively and we could barely have a conversation and hear each other. Also, the toilet was filthy and there was no toilet paper. Looked as though it wasn’t cleaned regularly. Definitely wouldn’t come back here, which is a shame because the coffee was the best we’ve tried in that area.

The coffee is highly overpriced and in the reality you hardly can feel the coffe. All you can get is really weak coffee. Looks like the company is stingy with the real coffee, pouring more milk and water. Banging money on the illusion of a good coffee. Not to mention that the staff is always different and unwashed. My coffee was prepared by Them with a dirty fingernails.

One of the best coffee places in London. Amazing brownies as well! Friendly staff. Nice place to sit in. Highly recommend :)

Encontré esta cafetería por accidente recientemente, cuando tenía una hora para matar. Me complace informar que es un lugar tranquilo, que sirve un buen café, donde el baño de uso mixto estaba muy limpio y donde la otra clientela se separaba de manera segura y trabajaba o hablaba en voz baja entre sí, en lugar de tener reuniones ruidosas. o gritar en sus móviles, eso siempre es una ventaja para mí. El personal era muy servicial. El lugar solo acepta pagos con tarjeta. Volveré si vuelvo a estar en la zona.

El aire acondicionado estaba encendido cuando la temperatura exterior es de 14 C, lo que solo puedo asumir que es expulsar a las personas lo antes posible. Sillas incómodas con mostradores estrechos. Internet es muy lento y poco confiable, terminó conectándose al bar al otro lado de la calle. No aplicaron el 50% de comer fuera para ayudar con el descuento del gobierno (pero tal vez no sean parte de él, no estoy seguro). Francamente, hay muchas opciones en la zona. No vi la apelación. Es poco probable que vuelva a visitarlo.

I work and live relatively close by and find their coffee´s, smoothies and breakfast bites really amazing, always fresh and made perfectly. However, the "service" there is actually really shocking sometimes. Makes me not want to go in there anymore, which is a shame as the place is actually really great.

lovely design guys making hot drinks are 5*. Cappuccino and Macha latte are the best in town. pastry is ok employees bringing orders and making bills look constantly annoyed by seeing clients coming in. hope to see the improvement this place deserves!

I live so close to this place and sometimes I cannot avoid to go there. Why? Because their Soya Matcha is amazing. However, the majority of the time I walk +10 mins but I go somewhere else (lot of places make amazing Soya Matcha). Why? Because these guys (not all of them but the majority) are so rude! You can smile guys, it’s for free!!! The worst is the girl who did my Soya Matcha this morning: brown/black curly hair if I remember well.. smile my darling, life is beautiful!

From reading other reviews of this place I feel like I may have lucked out. People seemed to have had a terrible time at this little coffee shop but mine experience was far from that. Recommended by a friend who works across the road. he said we should pop in for a quick coffee before he had to work. Nice greeting as we entered as it wasn't very busy and very quick to order and pay. Drinks were made and we were sat down enjoying our coffees in no time. A very cute little coffee shop, a tad run down looking however that's what you expect from Shoreditch. Very shabby chic. The coffee was drinkable, I ordered a black Americano and my friend a flat white in which he got a lovely little foamy heart. Cute! Overall a lovely place to drop in for coffee.

The staff are so rude! While standing in front of the barista to be served, she first finished texting on her phone and then gave her boyfriend (another employee) a kiss before asking what I wanted. I ordered a mocha frappe and was given some chocolate milk... when asking another member of staff for some more coffee in it, she butted in saying ‘there’s soooo much coffee in it, you just don’t taste coffee in a mocha’. Excuse me?? I know what nesquik tastes like. Never experienced customer service worse than this. Also the toilets are grimey.

There are an awful lot of coffee shops in London - too many to think that your hipster take on coffee is food enough to cover up surly staff and awful customer service. The chap who took my order was rude and abrupt, and served my food to take out even though I said I wanted to eat in (the place was, unsurprisingly, half empty). When I corrected him, he grunted at me and walked off. On opening the bag, I discovered he had given me the wrong item. Again, I asked for the correct one and was told I couldn’t as I had handled the other item. Complete rubbish, but I wasn’t in the mood for an argument, so I just left. The most frustrating thing? The coffee was actually pretty good. Not good enough that I’d ever return the this place, though!

Just walked in and ordered and caramel macchiato. The cashier rudely said: we don’t have it, we serve what’s on the board then he said: next! I replied: weird, I always come here and they make caramel macchiato then i walked away. Geez, people cant simply be nice in this city! This guy was VERY rude!

Depends on the barista and the day. if you arrive later in the afternoon and there's only one barista, like i did today, and she was lazy, the coffee was irreversibly bad. It was like drinking hot milk with no coffee inside... I'd be surprised if she even ground the beans. Immediate fail! On other days, when there are multiple baristas, at least they try, and you get a half decent coffee. Too hipstery, too much attitude and somewhat unfriendly here. Plenty of other good cafes around not to waste my time again.

I came back here to see if it had improved since my last visit because it is in such a convenient location. But sadly no .. they are as rude and as pretentious as usual. A good place to go to vent some frustration!

Stopped in for an early long black and pastry. It was fine but nothing I’d purposefully search out again. Decent vibe etc.

This is my second visit in a few weeks. The first visit and the coffee was excellent. The second visit and the coffee was not very good. It tasted burnt and too bitter. Service is impersonal and average. As there are lots of other coffee bars nearby I won't be back.

Popped in when the rain got too much. Welcomed with a smile and asked about the 'burned-looking' muffins but was informed they were cheese and mushroom. Tried on and it was good. Might have been better if it was a little warmer.

The place is lovely. The smoothies are good and fresh and have eeny weeny bits of fruit in them. There tea selection is as strong as there WiFi.

Realmente no voy a los bares de café muy a menudo, ya que en realidad no me gusta el café, pero cuando he visitado CUALQUIER lugar en East London, el personal suele ser grosero, presumiblemente presionado con sus guiones o ideas de puesta en marcha. Needing a coffee before an 8am meeting in Shoreditch - Choices are limited but this place was just right. Decent coffee well made with lots of flavour. A choice almond croissant though not needed hit the spot well. I will certainly be back next time.

Coffee OK but was served a stale Danish pastry. When I pointed this out to the staff the response was sorry, no offer of replacement or refund for my one bite stale bun

I wouldn't normally take the time to review a coffee shop but this one is particularly bad. Nice enough setting but I've had coffee on two occasions and both time it has been beyond burnt.

El café es bueno. El personal es muy inconsistente algunos son muy amable y comprometido con otros fuera de la mano y de ignorarlo y mucho más interesado en sus colegas! ! Sólo recuerde que es el que paga sus salarios de los clientes! ! ! Siempre hay otra cafetería a la vuelta de la esquina. . .

Paramos para tomar un bocado rápido antes de viajar aunque el shoreditch y pasteles eran de buen gusto me dijo, no es posible calentar, ya que se pegará a la tostadora, bastante raro para un lugar que sirve pasteles.

Buen lugar para tomar un café, pero el promedio de personal a un campo de relaciones con el cliente o algo así. Es divertido si estás de humor para ellos. Si tengo tiempo, prefiero ir a otro lugar

Really convenient spot to grab a good coffee on the way to work. Quick service but unfortunately some of the staff aren't very friendly / welcoming. In Hospitality a smile really goes a long way so would be great to see a change!

I would love to come to this place more because I love to coffee, the atmosphere and it is very close to my work place. The staff absolutely ruin it! There is only one girl who knows how to smile and she is even one of the newer employees. Ive been a barista working at a fast paced venue before and trust me it does not mean you don't have time to say hello to someone or use the terms please/thanks or use more than one word when speaking to them.

Good place to go for a coffee when in Shoreditch. It's very relaxed and has a team of friendly staff.

At the corner of curtain road, Fix 126 is a place frequented by young free lancers as long as professionals and student having a break or an after work chat. The coffee is fresh and the baristas are really skilled.

A great cup of coffee in the middle of Shoreditch! Nice atmosphere! Enough space to sit down and enjoy your coffee. Enough plugs surrounding the tables and chairs to plug a laptop into. Its FREE wifi for only an hour. The internet proved problematic at times.

Really great coffee and hot chocolate. You get a code for one hour of free wifi.Very relaxed. It's closes by 7. Staff are super chilled and sweet bunch.

Great little spot for a coffee, wifi and plug sockets included! Friendly staff!!! Love the relaxed atmosphere and a good mix of customers. Would recommend and will be back soon!

Stopped here many times for a coffee ahead of meetings etc - best coffee around this part of London, free wi-fi, and a cool interior with a cosy warmth to it. Great stuff!

Great staff, great coffees, wifi to use and an awesome atmosphere in a bustling area. Never a time new customers weren't coming in so they must do well.

Fix is one of my favourite coffee shops in London. They sincerely do make a cracking flat white but the attitude of the staff can be off-putting.I get it, it's Shoreditch and edgy is the name of the game but a bit of courtesy and patience would move Fix from four to five stars.

It looks nice and cosy on the inside and coffee wasn't too bad, but my experience with the staff was awful, especially blonde girl. She wasn't friendly when I ordered my coffee and she overcharged me. She then decided to have a conversation with her colleague about how certain groups of people never tip (an incredibly racist conversation) and to top it all off she started singing at the top of her lungs. It as so awful all the customers ended up walking out. I've never had such bad service and the girl wonders why she never gets tips. A few of my work colleagues had very similar experiences and have not visited since. I definitely will never ever be visiting again.

In my quest to try a cup of coffee from every Shoreditch coffee shop, I rolled into Fix 126 after a gym visit so obviously speaking was at a minimum (or it was just mumbles). Great coffee, fast service. That's all you then need to know. Touch on the expensive side but the bean taste more than makes up for it.

My, we are really spoiled for choice with good coffee shops around Shoreditch!We visited this one on late Friday afternoon, which was perhaps a little unfair as I had not long had a flat white from a nearby competitor and a second coffee is never a good idea. Still it was very good but the service was not brilliant, so I probably need to return to give this place a fairer chance to get the extra star.

Really love the coffee here, served by lovely people. Also had a breakfast wrap that was awesome even though it was preprepared and reheated.

Went for a filter coffee and a cup of tea. We were overcharged for both and charged for a cappuccino as well, which wasn't ordered. When asked about it they got very short and refunded us half of the cappuccino and then looked annoyed that we questioned why we were still over-charged.Once the coffee had been filtered the barista didn't say anything or let me know it was ready; and again got annoyed when I asked if that was my coffee.The coffee was also very poor; warm at best, and very watery with no real taste.Next time we will go back next door to Slate. At least they smile, produce a real cup of coffee, and at the price stated on the board.

Just found my new spot to hang out during the week. Flat white is great and at a reasonable price. Staff is polite, very shoreditch but i never had to complain - very efficient in the morning!

Perhaps being rude is part of the brand, but I don't care much for it. Also, they provide cheap plastic cutlery which makes eating there even more unpleasant.

this is a great place for, a great coffee, but not a great place, for personality or politeness from staff. thanks goodness it is a coffee shop and not a customer focussed buniess ( ummm) I am sure that many more will return in search of Bad manners, rude staff, and that general to cool for school bad attitude. Honestly London use to be about community, if this is the future of community, help us now. Real shame at least in Costa they say " good Morning " or hello even,

These guys do decent coffee! Makes a refreshing change from Costa, Starbucks and Nero. Not much else. The coffee speaks for itself

The coffee and the baked goods are consistently excellent in this place (formerly The Bean - much missed), but the attitude of the staff is nearly always disinterested, bordering on rude. People in our office building, which is practically next door, tend to prefer to go further afield for their caffeine fix simply because of the dire service. It's telling that when anyone in our building has had a pleasant interaction with the barristas in this joint, they always come back and relate the experience - seeing as it is such a rare occurrence. And this is over the course of a year.Seriously, there are similar trendy coffee bars springing up all over Shoreditch, if Fix want to thrive they should do something about their customer service... and maintain the quality of the product.(Oh, and bring back the panini with sausage, bacon and cheddar).

A typically edgy Hoxton coffee shop where individuality comes as standard and rich macchiatos come in a shot glass with a fleck of foam. A good place to bring yourself or a few friends as a stop off to wherever you are headed in the east end.

Great for hipster-watching. Delicious coffee. Don't sit by the door. Good raisin Danish. Located at a sort of crossroads so lots of people walking by. Maybe a little small for large gatherings, but there are large tables available.

This is the only place you can get a decent coffee and there's space to gaze out at the street and people-watch. Some reviews have said the staff are not friendly - I couldn't disagree more. I'm not particularly "hip" but I'm alwazys greeted with a smile. And, most vital of all, they make AMAZING coffee QUICKLY!!! So you don't have to stand around for hours like in some places. Brilliant place, highly recommend.

Great independent Coffee shop, it's sister store is a stone throw away on Whitecross street. Lovely smooth tasting flat whites and a great hot chocolate too. Price is a tad steep if you ask me and while I like the interiors low-fi look and feel I rarley sit in due to the crowds of Hoxton grumpy trendies. The place quickly turns into an 'Apple off' with so many versions of MacBooks strewn over the tables and their new wave owners avoiding any eye contact with others as they may need to be polite and make some space or they're hiding deep envy of someone's more advanced spec. This place ain't for the PC! When its quiet its nice.

Good coffee nice cakes in a trendy area of Hackney near the city... Bit pricey but a funky place with a relaxed vibe. Free wifi also

This is a great spot with a wonderful staff and excellent coffee.

I've worked round the corner on Great Eastern Street for 5 or 6 years now, and it's brilliant that there are finally places like Fix 126 opening up serving decent coffee in nice surroundings. Perfect for meetings, but also ideal for lounging around with friends. Staff are friendly and while it's not greasy-spoon cheap, it's certainly no more expensive than your average coffee place in central London.

What a shame...£2.80 for a coffee... overpriced.The staff seem to think they're too cool and doing you a favour by overcharging you for a coffee, especially the blonde one on Sundays. And it's annoying asking for a coffee when they're all talking about their previous night, not a great environment for a coffee.I've worked around Shoreditch for 10 years now and if you want a good coffee and a place to chill I genuinely would not recommend it, it's what real Shoreditch people can't stand, young kids coming to the area and thinking they're too cool to speak to other people.It's a shame really as the Bean (previous coffee shop) had mediocre coffee but it was a great place to go, the staff were great.
