This was the first time I used this place and it will be my last. Only eat from here if you like eating grease food. I know a chippy is grease food but when I got my kebab (I can handle hot and spicy food but this was not kebab meat way to spicy) in a pitta bread home it was that grease it slipped off the paper and onto the plate by itself and the bread was uneatable because it was dripping. I wish I'd taken photos of it now so you could see I was so made I just had a few chips and put the rest in the bin

The food from here is delicious we have delivery it always hot cooked fresh the portions are large almost too much.curry sauce some of the best we have had Would highly recommend this fish and chips shop

Don't bother waited in this place to be served and all they was bothered about was loading up the uber eats people. They would rather serve the people who are to lazy to even turn up and collect their own food.

Great service everything tastes great and wellcoming good service.

Used to be very good but more interested in telephone orders than walk in customers, never acknowledged, answered phone calls kept me waiting 10 minutes so walked out, found a better place at Darby End!!!

If you want a high end chippy but not the price, this is definitely the place. Food is fantastic the battered chips are the best I've had. Great work guys 👍

Visited yesterday lunch time, it was busy but fast moving. The battered chips were lovely. Hot and tasty but not oily. Kebabs meat with fresh salad. People running the shop were friendly.

New Review,(18/5/22) Called in on my way home from work, Asked for a cone of mixed chips, £2.00 and a load of un-eatable rubbish chips, are they of Frozen origin? That is finally it, they were awful. ☹️

I tried this place for the first time tonight through Just Eat,instead of my usual takeaway, and found the meal great quality and quantity and fairly priced ,with excellent delivery.

Went here for the first time last night, loved it. My girlfriend and I just moved to the area so this is our first chippy that we've been to, but I doubt we'll be looking elsewhere any time soon. While it wasn't seaside quality, it ticked all the right boxes and was ludicrously cheap for what we got. We both got a small fish and chips for £3.50 each and drinks, and we've spent upwards of £15 in other places for a similar amount of food with very little gain in quality. Haven't tried the kebabs yet, but we're looking forward to it.

Just had chips. Row. Steak an kidney pie curry sauce for me an my husband all tastes OK althou chips were rather on the cool side so makes us think they were warmed up from lunch time the rest however were hot enough we've always found everything OK normally. Will prob go netherton fish bar next time....
