Double Happy in Dudley

We have used Double Happy for several years! Always been great food and service until last few months...arguments over wrong food in order (normally over £60 - big family) server totally unhelpful and blames us 😬 last 3 orders all had something wrong! Not bothered and we shall now seek out a better alternative. Lost customer here. Please check the orders...expected from McDonald's but not from Double Happy!

Ordered food and told 30 minute wait. It turned out to be a 55 minute wait. Never again!!

Always had food from there not sure if they changes chef but last week had chop suey all it was was few prawns onion and bean sprouts very amemic looking not good, so ordered this week had special fried rice looked like chop suey from week before with a spoon of rice not good will be looking for another chinese

Ordered for delivery all food ok apart from the Crispy shredded duck which was full of bones one big leg bone and fragments in with the duck we called to complain we got told they would send a new one we waited and called back after waiting for 35 mins to be told the drivers have gone home and they were closing for the night and that we would have to order it next time for free. Not great my kids eat the duck lucky we spotted the fragments or it could have been worse. We are gutted as this Chinese is our favourite and we have used it for a while. We won't be ordering again.

Not been here for ages but had a menu , ordered a T/A to be picked up, the price difference is astronomical way way way to expensive ££££ think they are taking the p- ss for the amount of food they serve and it's only cash , No what l mean Rodney, unfortunately not be going back

Ordered a takeaway tonight,,,, half food missing rang and spoke to the most RUDE lady and said the rest of your food will be coming out in a Hour WHAT!!!!!!! Been using here for five years never a problem but tonight oh dear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!

Used this takeaway for years was so disappointed last night. Curry has been getting very spicy over the last few months. Last night's order was terrible very spicy lamb was very chew and couldn't eat a lot of it. Chicken was very rubbery. The meat on the ribs were very tough. Unfortunately will not be using again.

Will not order from here again, the last two orders we received were wrong.

Been using this place for many many years. Used to order when i was a teenager and lived in Kingswinford. we were known by first name basis back then Paul delivered most occasions. Still my favourite chinese but we only manage to get every now and then as we are too far away and we like to stop by if we venture that way.

Always a treat but so busy at the weekends. Usually best to just walk in, order and just wait. Phoning is always worth a try but getting through is a bit hit and miss. Bring cash, no card payment yet. Worth the wait though!

I called in at 5.30 on New Year’s Eve to place a large order for delivery around 7pm. It arrived exactly on time and the food was fantastic as always. Can not fault the service, quality of food and friendliness of staff.

Food is delicious, but the woman who serves at the counter is rude won't admit she's wrong while I was waiting she got 1 guys order wrong and when I got back to my house she messed mine up too and when I told her she put the phone down on me apart from the service everything is great

Placed ordered for delivery, was told 45mins to an hour. After 2 hours no Chinese, 86 attempts trying to call with no luck, ended up ordering and collecting from happy garden who never fail to please. Will never place an order with double happy again. Worst service ever.

Lovely food, lots of choice well cooked and plenty of it, particularly recommend the plain noodles,but you won't go wrong whatever you choose, reasonably priced,they also deliver for a small charge,they only problem is getting through on the phone to place the order as they are so busy,can drop in to order but still be prepared to wait a fair time,still would recommend.

Have always found food and service good, until tonight. 45 minutes after ordering I called to ask when it would be delivered and was told it had left 5 minutes ago. Called 15 minutes later, told it would be with us in a couple of minutes. 20 minutes later still no sign so called again. Guy who answered the phone was very rude “what do you want me to do about it?” “It’s not my problem”. Eventually turned up 20 minutes after that. The driver said he had only left the shop 30 minutes before, that’s 30 minutes after I was told he had. Somebody is lying. I would have accepted the delivery if not for all the lies. Sent it back and won’t be ordering again.

The best Chinese around !! Lovely man who answers phone, always friendly. It does take a while to get threw on phone, but that's a good thing if it was horrible you would get threw first ring !! Just shows how good food is ..thankyou double happiness .

Can never get through on the phone , either they don't pick up it permanently engaged , had food from here once 3 years ago , unhelpful when u go to shop and don't take an order won't be going here again
