Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Trafford

Tasty food, generous portions and the milkshakes are amazing. We visited for a family trip out on Friday 23rd February 2024 and my two sons and I were so impressed with the staff member that served us😊 His name on the receipt said 'Scott C'. He was so welcoming, cheerful and enthusiastic in his work we wanted to write this review. He made us all smile as he was friendly, asked us about our day and helped us make our food and drink selections. Hope his excellent customer service is recognised by management!🙌 ⭐️ Our food and drinks were ready straight away too. Highly recommend visiting here.

Asked for 3 cheeseburgers , received 3 hotdog burgers , both my kids thought they where disgusting. Got a portion of chips that were just thrown in the bags with the 3 hotdogs burgers . 3 milkshakes where ok , but not worth £8 each . In total price for 3 hotdog burgers , 1 small chips and 3 milkshakes was £50 . Rip off .

This is my favourite place to eat in the Trafford centre. The burgers and fries are the best in England in my opinion. The service is as quick as you would expect from a fast food place. The food is cooked fresh and the chips are shipped from a different place in the uk every day. The only negative is the high priced menu but in my opinion it is worth every penny of what you pay for. I would highly recommend you visit if you like classic American cuisine.

the burger was amazing it was totally worth the money . lots of toppings to choose from. service was good. have to be honest the tables needed cleaning and there was a lot of rubbish on the floor.

Took my son and my partners two children for a treat after the play factore. The burgers and fries were delicious and even though expensive they are worth it. For me the service was disappointing. After being asked if that was everything on the order. I asked if she had four burgers, four shakes and two large fries to be told yes. The shakes come very quickly and then the food is a wait. We decided to sit upstairs. When I took the food up we only had three burgers. So I had to reorder another. I asked for it to be brought up as we had the other food and I didn't want it to go cold. After all this my milkshake had sat for a ridiculous amount of time and was not pleasant. We ate our food and the additional burger had not arrived. We went back down and it was waiting. Overall I spent £78 pounds. Shakes are served to soon ask them to give eith the food and service was dreadful.

First time I’ve tried Five Guys. And the last. Ordered online. To be fair, delivery was quick. But the bacon cheeseburger I ordered was dry, missing the extra sauce and bacon burnt. Very disappointed and just simply a waste of money. I would highly recommend……. ordering from somewhere else!

Fast food burgers don’t come better than five guys! They’re also more expensive than anywhere else, but they’re so worth it! They never compromise on quality or portion sizes!! We love five guys! Never had a bad experience here

This is a glorified McDonald’s! Ridiculously priced for food that’s thrown at you in a paper bag! All tables filthy. 5/6 staff stood behind counter doing nothing. Girl at till took order correctly but it arrived wrong. Wasn’t busy in fact only two orders (including ours) at the time. Would never bother again far better places to eat in Trafford Centre food court

Ordering the food is quick enough but the wait for food was ridiculous . Also the food was no way as nice as it was. They take so many orders but don’t spend enough time to check what food is being served. Burger was pink inside and not very warm. Staff could do with learning to smile. All in all very over priced food that wasn’t very nice at all. Tables could do with clearing and cleaning more often.

Second time I've been now and felt the same as the first time. Expensive for what's basically about the same level as a Burger King. They're OK but why is a Hamburger double the price of a Whopper with cheese. We got a burger, cheeseburger and bacon burger with fries and drinks and it came to £45. I don't think I'll be going back. Also, the location is terrible at this time of year. It's right next to one of the main entrances and it's freezing cold, even in the seating across from the main seating area.

Came in with my wife and child this week. Service was fantastic, staff were very friendly with my son. Service slightly slow but a great time overall.

We was warmly greeted by a cheerful young lady who took our order of a bacon cheeseburger - with all toppings and a hamburger with ketchup no toppings, small chips - no salt and their new Reece peanut butter cup milkshake The meal arrived, the burgers wrapped up in foil; the bacon cheeseburger comes with 2 patties, bacon and a choice of toppings, I chose all and it didn’t disappoint. The hamburger comes with 2 patties and ketchup - for the more adventurous you can choose topping from a menu card, provided at the till. The chips are lightly fried in peanut oil - not greasy as you might expect and the milkshake… The milkshake arrived with whipped cream - lots of, and blended Reece peanut butter cups in a chocolate flavoured shake - It did not disappoint. The price, though more expensive than what you’d pay for similar at McDonalds or Burger King, is well worth the money. We definitely will be returning

I've been here before and didn't like it, fries were too salty and burgers not to my taste. I visited this week and enjoyed the burgers, fries and service. I had a plain burger with just ketchup and my friend had all the works, the flavour of the patties was perfect though too much tomato sauce was put on as it was the top and bottom bun. I would prefer just the top. The fries I asked for unsalted and these were amazing. Just a bit of salt I added myself and vinegar. I also enjoyed the milkshake. Service very friendly. There was a man cleaning constantly. No spray used which I prefer just soap water and a cloth. Excellent. Will return soon.

To be clear, it's pricey for what it is. It's essentially a burger and chips and of course, being the Trafford Centre they charge you over the odds. There was x2 Adults and x2 Kids (and, we didn't get one of the Kids a Burger)...

Wasn’t overwhelmed by the food but the decor was nice. The staff weren’t overly enthusiastic or organised but luckily the place wasn’t busy when we went. On the plus side the strawberry cheesecake milkshake was really good.

Do yourself a favor and visit Five Guys. The service is great. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best burger and fry’s we have ever had. Highly recommend! Only criticism is that it is expensive for fast food.

Tried here after a shopping trip to the Trafford Centre. Neither myself or my partner have been before so fancied trying it. The lad on the entrance was nice enough, no idea what he was saying as it was absolute chaos. Customers everywhere, no-one following the "one way" route. The staff literally screaming order numbers at people and we were being shouted at for not going to the correct order point. Absolutely awful first impressions!! We were given no time to look at the menu before hand so just ended up ordering two cheese and bacon burgers with fries and a drink each. All this amounted to just over £34!! I don't mind paying that for quality food and excellent service, but the service did not warrant the experience at all. The server Kaiden who took our order literally threw the drink cartons at us and screamed "NEXT" to the customers who were wandering around looking as clueless as we were. We just stood there with our cups, no clue where to go and then were screamed at again to go round the corner to fill up our drinks and basically to get out of the way. We figured out the machine only then to have yet another angry staff member screaming our order number at us as we didn't realise that this was how we meant to be collecting our food. We took our food back to the car, the chips had been chucked into the bottom of the bag, supposedly they were meant to be in the paper cups but no such luck. I guess this is too much like hard work for the staff. The burgers were actually very good, but didn't make up for the terrible service we received.Would I go again? No. Shame as the burger was decent but I'm not paying £34 for a glorified McDonalds with service worse than I'd ever received anywhere before. Five Guys should have paid us for the privilege of buying from them and maybe they spend the money from the over priced Big Mac on staff training.

This is my second time visiting Five Guys at The Trafford Centre. I’m glad I don’t go here often as it really is rather expensive for fast food. We got 2 burgers, one chips and one drink and it was £26.10. The food was nice, we enjoyed the burger and chips but I do think it’s a lot of money for the portion size etc.

Five Guys is everything you could want from a burger restaurant. All the burgers are freshly grilled to perfection, and they'll allow you to customize them almost any way you want. You can apply almost any topping and any quantity. The fries are crispier than even McDonald's, and the milkshakes are infinitely creamy and rich. Five Guys really have set the standard for what a fast food restaurant should be.

Food was great as usual from a 5 guys the only issue here is the amount of seating available. Trafford centre has taken out half the seats in the orient so we were wandering with our burgers for a while waiting for someone to leave so we could sit down.Five guys could do with more seating than the small corner they have currently.

Had to que literally outside the building and took 45 mins to get to the till. Vegan Sandwich for the lady and the big fella here got himself 2 bacon double cheeseburgers all the way, with jalas and with hot sauce. 2x large fires cos why not its half price fam. smashed all the fires, nailed one burger saved the other for later. Lovely place, £18 for all that should have been £38... Sponsor darren till or we wont be back.

I'm not a burger person but five guys burgers is another level....absolutely delicious. As for the milkshakes, I would rather pay £5 than buy cheaper at other fast foods restaurants (I'm sure u can guess which). Try peanut butter milkshake and oreo pieces and you'll never be the same again!!!!

Fast friendly staff. Clean and following all the guidelines, for Covid. Food was hot tasty and really nice and very fresh.

Came on a Saturday evening after a trip round the Trafford centre. You know it’s pricey but it’s worth every mouthful and the chip portion size (medium) does two of you. Served by the friendliest upbeat bloke called Kenneth! Nailed customer service with his cheeky charm.

This was the first time that I tried this restaurant. I ordered the bacon roll. What a mistake. I can truly say that it was the worst bacon roll that I have ever had !! The bacon was rock hard dry crispy flakes, I really thought that this was not bacon tasted more like cardboard !! not that I have ever tasted cardboard. Will not be going there again and so expensive. Stay clear eat at another restaurant that serves proper food .

Kids wanted to eat here. Everywhere else was super busy. Kids got a seat and I went to order. I have been here a few times now. I have found the food to be good but it gets so busy the quality of the assembly does suffer. Some things I noticed on my last visit which management should probably address..Fries, they vary in quantity. Some times you get loads other times you get a tiny portion, just decide which you are doing and stick to it please.Staff bagging the food to go literally just throw it in there, and I mean that literally. I stood there for 5 mins watching one guy physically launch each burger into the bag with a solid thud... nice. Needless to say my burger was round on one side and square on the other. I was shocked that two burgers, one chips and two cokes would come to £27.80!!! The food was ok but hugely overpriced which is why I won’t eat at Five Guys again. The lady on the till was dour but the young man handing out the orders was very polite and friendly. I still can’t get over the prices, fresh or not!

Never been to 5 guys before but lots of activity made me curious as I love a good burger. Bit like subway where you make up your burger to order and as I like to taste a good burger I asked for it plain! Just a plain burger and fries... Not difficult I thought. Got my burger and fries and the burger had a disgusting slice of processed cheese and bq sauce on it. BIG fail!! Also big queue so decided not to take it back and complain in front of so many people. The burger and fries at £10.90 was not worth that price... It was okay and maybe would have been better without processed cheese but I won't be returning. At that price I exoect no mistakes in a very basic order and an AMAZING TASTING burger.

We sometimes pop in 5 guys for their veggie buns. Hot mushrooms, onion, peppers, lettuce, melted cheese, tomatoes, delicious. They also do meat buns, fries and hotdogs too. They make many different milkshakes which can be mixed with fruit and topped with cream, and they have fizzy refillable drinks too. Seating indoors and outdoors, Wheelchair accessible, child friendly. Lively, vibrant but smallish restaurant area, tasty food to go, fast food. Staff perky, friendly, efficient. Clean premises. No toilets but there are some very close to Five Guys, indoors, in the Trafford centre. Always enjoy the food and drinks here.

The guys at five guys are some of the best burger flippers I’ve come across, and the burgers are possibly the best I’ve had from a fast food outlet, but they should be at £25 for 2 burgers and 2 soft drinks.

We ate here after our journey from Hull the food is always very good. We were served by kayden who gave us very good customer service who was very polite and recommended some good toppings for the burgers.

I have been twice now and the food is very nice but both times they have got my burger incorrect. First time it was missing the bacon and second time I got mushrooms instead of jalapeno peppers.

Lunch on a busy Friday, large order cooked to perfection, never an issue with quality or quantity etc would recommend a visit to this location. Lots of seating, all clean. No issues.

What Five Guys do is simple, but they do it well. Yes, for what is essentially a burger, it is overpriced, but you get what you pay for, a fresh tasting quality burger with a range of free toppings. The fries are to die for, and even a small is enough to be split between two.

At first I thought this Five Guys was overcrowded but there are overspill seating areas. The service is super efficient but I didn't enjoy my vegetarian burger and the chips were rather greasy.

I dont know, five guys burgers are dry and not that good. The fires are what makes the difference here. Unfortunately this is not uncommon for most 5 guys I have been to. This location is especially busy and poorly laid out. If you ask for drinks you are crammed into a little space not for from the trashcans waiting for one of the two fountain machines to become available as everyone crowds around them. I can to really recommend 5 guys unless you want some very good fries.

Food was great the little burgers are the perfect size for the kids. We love having a choice of fillings and trying different combinations. We where served by kaiden he is an asset to your company.

Food was great quality and hot ! Restaurant was very clean and relatively busy which I would expect. Maybe it’s my eye sight but the top quality burger send a little smaller, just saying. Expensive to say the least.

I visited the store in the Trafford centre with my husband and 3 children on a busy Saturday afternoon, the staff were patient and helpful and went the extra mile when I forgot to order my daughters burger!!

I went there for a burger and a milkshake with my partner and it was honestly so delicious and fresh. I can’t express how nice the strawberry milkshake was! The staff were very polite and friendly and genuinely looked like they were having fun at work whilst getting the job done. Nice clean dining areas also!

This places was great, fast service on very busy night in the Trafford center- Saturday- found a place to sit quickly. Fresh burgers and chips, great portion sizes , unlimited refills on drinks. Choose your burger size, sides and drinks and wait for it to be cooked fresh, so there's a little wait. They don't have freezers so all food really is fresh. Their fries are made from proper potatoes...the cajun style are def more fiery than the girl on counter told us they were (maybe she has a better tolerance of the spices they used?!)

The restaurant is very good and the service was very fast despite the queue and the crowd. The Cajon Fries is my favorite in the world this is not the first one i am Five Guys customer from more than 10 years when I traveled to in USA and in any branches in the world.

It’s always busy so as per get a seat if you can ! It’s expensive but worth it, hot food. Well presented and cooked well. Staff are great ! Recommend.

We have visited a few different Five Guys a handful of times. It’s expensive for what it is, but a cut above similar burger/fast food chains.

Tried charging us £43 for 3 burgers and chips! Who on earth do they think they are?! Its a small, grotty fast food place with crap wooden chairs and dirty tables located right by the entrance to the Trafford Centre, so it's always freezing and they are charging these prices?! I don't give a dam if its fresh, it's a fast food restaurant, nothing more. Get off your high horses you pricks.

We visit five guys when we are in Manchester or Chester, the burgers are fantastic, the hotdogs are great and the fries are to die for!

Five Guys is pricey no matter where you find them, but the food is always great and the service is always good. Sure, it's fast food, but it's quality fast food, freshly made to order, and makes a nice treat.

If ever we need a quick fast food option this is always the place we come to wherever we are. Food is done quickly and is a decent meal. It may be a tad pricey for ‘fast food’ but you get plenty and always can have many different things on your burger. Also don’t forget to try some nuts while you wait

All you ever need from a fast food establishment and leaves you feeling full way longer than any other fast food. It’s pricey but given all the ingredients are fresh then it’s a treat worth splashing out on.

i went to 5 guys yesterday, i have got to say it was appalling. the food tasted fine until i woke up the next day food posioned. i have visited 5 guys before with much pleasure but this time i am throughly disappointed.

The food is nice but the que to be served is sooooo long . And it’s not easy to get a seat and table as it’s so busy and not a lot of tables.

This is my 3rd visit here. The burgers taste nicer than McDonald’s, but I’d hardly call it Street food.

Why choose TGI or similar for a burger and fries, when you can have 5 guys, still cheaper, but far better quality and much quicker. No comparison with McDonald’s or Burger King, these burgers are in a different class.
