The layout isn't amazing given the space available but the great food and wonderful staff make that utterly irrelevant!

My order was missing pretty much every topping I asked for. Mayo, lettuce, pickles, onions, it didn't even have bacon in it, and it was a bacon cheeseburger that I had ordered. I'm very disappointed

Fantastic burger, fries were also amazing, milkshake was the best I've had, well done 5 guys Bridgend. Restaurant was spotlessly clean.

The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, truly living up to the hype. The toppings were fresh, and I loved the option to customize it exactly how I wanted. The fries were crispy and generously portioned, definitely a highlight of the meal. However, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was paying a premium for what is essentially fast food. While I appreciate the quality of the ingredients, I can't help but compare it to more affordable options like McDonald's or Burger King, where I could get a similar meal for half the price. It’s hard to justify spending that much, especially when you’d need to work 2 hours for this on a normal wage. Maybe it’s a treat for special occasions, but for regular cravings, I think I’ll stick to my usual spots. Still, I can see why some people rave about it—if you’re looking for a gourmet fast-food experience, 5 Guys might just be worth the splurge now and then.

Never had food from here before. Was better than expected. Burger was delicious. Large fries was huge!! Really enjoyed

Driver got lost and was rude on telephone. Insisted I was at the wrong house. It’s the house I always use. It’s my home. The guy was not nice

Since eating a cheeseburger in this restaurant, which by the way was pink in the middle, I have had griping stomach pains on the way home in the car and have had diarrhoea ever since. I believe I have had food poisoning.

No topping on the burgers. Pay a lot of money for it not even to be what I ordered. Not happy with the order

The delivery side was amazing the driver was polite and professional and made sure to ask for the code. The food was average the chips were stone cold with very small portions of chips considering two regulars were ordered. There was also a gherkin/pickle in my burger which was not requested in my order as I really dislike them, however when I bit half way through the burger there was one in there which completely put me off eating anymore, very disappointed in five guys.

I didn’t receive my food even tho it said it was delivered, the delivery driver also probably made off with my food I paid for.

How do these places get away with wrong orders all the time. How hard is it to make the correct food that is ordered. Unbelievable. Always happening. Shocking considering the money we pay too

Ordered a hotdog and milkshake at 15.37. Never arrived. Website currently shown as “delivered at 18.30”. It’s currently 18.18. Have requested full refund from JustEat

Only ordered shake and chips. Shake was not included in order, fries were stone cold and inedible. Not sure how such a simple order can be botched to such a degree. Will not order again.

First ever visit, and sadly the last. Exceptionally over priced for a very small burger. Plastic processed cheese, most of which was stuck to the foil it was wrapped in. There is absolutley no justification for charging £10.95 for a bacon cheese burger that was far from "premium". Overall, very dissapointed.

DO NOT EAT HERE Myself and my partner both ate hamburgers on Sunday (1 normal hamburger, one bacon cheeseburger, 1 medium Cajun fries and one refill drink) at roughly 6pm. We paid £29.60 for the food. However, we have both been horrifically ill since we ate this food. Since 11pm Sunday evening, I have been up vomiting every 30 minutes since I got home amounting to 23 times! As well as having diarrhoea. This is the worst food poisoning I have ever experienced. My partner has also been having explosive diarrhoea and vomiting since roughly the same time. This meant we have both had to take a day off work to recover from this and possibly more depending on how we feel on Tuesday. We have both continued to have sickness and diarrhoea throughout the day today. This from a burger is unacceptable. We have both eaten at five guys in different locations and never had a problem and would like to continue to be good customers but I don’t think we will be returning. We would like to make a formal complaint about this, what action will be taken for this? We are experiencing pretty dreadful food poisoning so if the same standards of hygiene continue here, others will suffer the same consequences as us. Will we receive a full refund to compensate for this? We have also reported this issue to the food hygiene standards agency.

Absolutely disgusted with the price of the food. Two cheese burgers, two small fries and two shakes £40!!! The burger was 4/10 just a standard burger, didn't get that wow factor, no flavour in meat. Fries 0/10 literally beyond salty. Threw them in bin. Shake 10/10 Also the atmosphere is soooo loud they pump music. So annoyed I payed it tbh. That's almost my weeks shopping worth of money 🙄🙄🙄 Never returning again and will be telling people about this price and lack of taste.

Great service and food is amazing!! Shame the restaurant is quite cold and also has dirty tables/floor which weren’t cleaned in the half hour or so we were there.

Five Guys is usually my favourite place to grab a bite, but this specific branch must have had a really bad day. The store is quite small, so seating was limited, and most tables were left messy for the entire 35 minutes I was there, despite quieter moments. The fries were stale and lacked flavour, while the burger buns were soggy and greasy, with the burgers put together poorly. On a positive note, the staff were friendly when taking my order. I usually have good experiences with Five Guys, so I’ll raise this with their customer service and update my review if things improve on my next visit.

Having already tried the other four Five Guys locations in South Wales, this was the last one on our list. We ordered two Burger Bowls, one Double Cheeseburger, and two drinks around 8:45pm. Unfortunately, the staff seemed uninterested, and the atmosphere felt cold, much like the food. There wasn't any mayo, relish, or mustard pots included with the bowls, resulting in a rather dry overall taste. Even the drink selection in the Freestyle Coke machine was limited and tasted weaker than at other locations. Shocking standard of food. Over £10 for a sweaty foil wrapped burger and £4 for chips served in a takeaway cup. They were so salty we couldn't give them to the kids. First and last time we'll be visiting. Avoid

First time visiting at 5guys Bridgend. Burger was stunning it was oozing with gorgeousness. Bit pricey tho, but ok as a treat. Staff were friendly enough. They need to employ someone to clean the tables as they were not very clean.

You put estimated time of 21:55 and the driver didn’t arrive at restaurant until that time. Order took an hour almost to be delivered. Chips were cold too

I ordered 2 drinks with my large cajun fries but I never received the 2 drinks.

I ordered in advance for a scheduled delivery. The driver was at the restaurant in good time, yet the order was still being prepped at what should have been the scheduled delivery time 19:00. Therefore, food was 25 minutes late! Restaurant had plenty of time, but failed! No point offering a scheduled delivery time, if it can’t be met. We weren’t happy.

driver took wrong turn coming to me and went over 10 miles in wrong directiom when he arrived I seen him get out if his car and my food wasn't even in the just eat bag and was freezing cold . asked him what am I ment to do with this cold food his reply was " sorry got lost and got 2 orders " . this is my 2nd order in a row that is cold . really poor service

I ordered a plain hamburger as part of my order and selected lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and grilled onions on this burger (I can send screenshots of the order). However, my burger came with cheese - I don’t like cheese and was very disappointed when I opened my burger to see cheese.. I am also very concerned regarding handling of allergens at Five Guys restaurant. Whilst I do not have a dairy intolerance or allergy, this could have happened to someone who does a dietary intolerance.

Expensive, mediocre food and poor service, slow service, wrong order and a complete lack of help for disabled customers, won't be spending my money with Five Guys again.

Entered first thing at the weekend morning. Ordered, then went to find a seat. Unfortunately every single table was covered in sticky, filthy muck. Bewildering, first minute it's opened and not a single table was clean? All you had to do was walk around the restaurant to see the major problems, where was the management, or supervisor? It's a basic responsibility to make sure every table isn't covered in greasy, sticky, saucy filth when you open. Was this a failure the night before, or on the day? We used to clean restaurants at the end of our shifts, but we'd make certain it was clean when we opened too. They had loads of staff behind the counter just mucking about, so wasn't like the resources weren't there, was just lazy or poor management. Can't imagine ever coming back again as I don't find it acceptable that I have to clean my own table. Also, should make clear the regular burger is a double.

Great service. The man on the till looked up allergy ingredients for my husband. Not too long a wait for the food. The food was hot,fresh, and tasted AMAZING! I will definitely be back!

We really wanted to like the meal but the burgers were absolutely tasteless. The beef seemed like it would have been good quality, only it had no seasoning at all. Even the tomatoes and pickles tasted of nothing. Disappointed

My partner ordered an Oreo and salted caramel milkshake but was given a Reece’s peanut butter shake instead without knowing. My partner is seriously allergic to peanuts and had a severe allergic reaction. He then complained that he was given the wrong shake and their response was “shouldn’t be eating here then” no apology or sympathy. Really disappointed as we are fond customers but will definitely no longer be visiting this restaurant anymore!

Usually love Five Guys but I have to say it was awful this evening 😞 chips were unbelievably salty! Waaaay too much salt on them it ruined them. The burgers were also not the best, very greasy and weren’t cooked right through. Such a shame as usually they are lovely.

Lovely food but a bit expensive

The food was disappointing - not very hot, fewer fries than are usually given in person and one of the burger orders was incorrect (it had cheese when I'd ordered a bacon burger, not a bacon cheese burger.) my 12 year old son therefore refused to eat it. It's an expensive meal anyway, so for there to be that many issues, I won't be ordering it again. It's always great in person!

Overpriced, cheap, processed food. I now know why there are no pictures of their products in their properties. I asked for 2 cheese sandwiches, what I received was 2 burger buns minus the burgers. I expected slices of bread. Not even cheese, it was the plastic bright yellow burger cheese. I asked for mushrooms with mine, they were also tasteless, plastic, tinned mushrooms. Salted caramel milkshake just tasted sweet, cherry drink was watery. Chips were ok, but over salted. Paid £23.89, then had to ask for a knife and fork as I am a carer and the lady I look after needs her food cut into bite size pieces. No cutlery, sauce or serviettes available to obtain without joining queue to probably be charged for the sauce. My 1st and last visit to 5 Guys.

Overpriced and ordinary. Over £22 for burger and fries which is nothing special, seems like daylight robbery. Burger hastily put together and was a mess. Cold fries.....Best part was the milkshake - that was quite good, but nowhere near worth the price tag. You could feed a family of 4 elsewhere......
