The meal was delivered in just a paper bag, and unsurprisingly was freezing cold by the time it arrived having not been stored in an insulated box en route - at £16.20 for a burger and chips, this is unacceptable! The drink wasn’t delivered.

I ordered from Five Guys specifically because the delivery time was predicted at 30 mins. 20 minutes after my order was through, it was updated to add another 30 minutes. The total delivery took over an hour in the end.

We have Five guys a lot and this was by far the worst order. The food was cold. Felt like it was cooked way before it was picked up by the driver as fries were stale and burgers were soggy. The burgers had no flavour at all… very disappointing

already had a bad experience with my deliveries before but decided to try again only to be missing half of my meal :/ really disappointing

Ordered food at 8:30pm delivery time was 20 minutes food finally arrived 10 to 10. This was to late for us to eat food as we usually go to bed at 10pm this was disappointing.

Fresh quality produce in a fast food environment The price reflects the quality you get, but still hard to fork out these prices with the typical fast food seating a little extra and you can get a lot better dining experience that said still the best fast food outlet for burgers

Very unhappy after ordering two meals,an extra hot dog and three shakes,costing almost 60 pound for delivery, turned up on time but was missing 2 hot dogs and all three shakes !!!! Driver didn't really care and said I should get in my car and go there myself...... extremely unhappy with the service and now having problems getting our money back, it shouldn't be so difficult to receive your money back after destroying a families evening meal...

The burgers and milkshakes (salted caramel and bacon sounds disgusting but it’s amazing). Expensive compared to other fast food, decent compared to a restaurant…

I love five guys, & I don’t know why, but it just doesn’t taste as good in Bridgend. I don’t know if they do something different with it because all the ingredients are the same, but it’s just not as good. Fries were absolutely awful last time. We never go to the Bridgend one. No problems with Cardiff Centre and Cardiff Bay one. It’s weird.

Really disappointed to be totally honest, ordered ahead at 1pm to be delivered at 4pm. You expect it to be at least on time or even a few minutes early in those circumstances. Didnt turn up until 4.45pm, and the driver took about 40mins for a 10 minute drive. Won't be ordering for delivery again.

My actual receipt of food was approximately 45 mins after my first delivery time. It seemed that the courier was waiting there for a long time. Once the courier has the food, it was delivered promptly. The food was however cold when it got to me. Really poor to be honest.

Appalled that the delivery driver wouldn’t help when I pointed out that I received £20’s worth of food when we’d ordered £55’s worth.

I did not receive what I ordered AGAIN. I ordered a cheese burger with onions, ensuring I clicked on the bun option. But I received a basic burger with cheese, and that was it. I’m not happy as this is not the first time this has happened.

First time visiting today. The staff were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing. 100% recommend this place

Buns soggy, soaked in grease and cold burgers, ingredients added that were not ordered. Fries soggy and cold. Will not order from here again. Lazy staff in my opinion, no effort put into the food. For the price you pay for 5Guys i expect so much more

My order was missing pretty much every topping I asked for. Mayo, lettuce, pickles, onions, it didn't even have bacon in it, and it was a bacon cheeseburger that I had ordered. I'm very disappointed

The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, truly living up to the hype. The toppings were fresh, and I loved the option to customize it exactly how I wanted. The fries were crispy and generously portioned, definitely a highlight of the meal. However, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was paying a premium for what is essentially fast food. While I appreciate the quality of the ingredients, I can't help but compare it to more affordable options like McDonald's or Burger King, where I could get a similar meal for half the price. It’s hard to justify spending that much, especially when you’d need to work 2 hours for this on a normal wage. Maybe it’s a treat for special occasions, but for regular cravings, I think I’ll stick to my usual spots. Still, I can see why some people rave about it—if you’re looking for a gourmet fast-food experience, 5 Guys might just be worth the splurge now and then.

Since eating a cheeseburger in this restaurant, which by the way was pink in the middle, I have had griping stomach pains on the way home in the car and have had diarrhoea ever since. I believe I have had food poisoning.

The delivery side was amazing the driver was polite and professional and made sure to ask for the code. The food was average the chips were stone cold with very small portions of chips considering two regulars were ordered. There was also a gherkin/pickle in my burger which was not requested in my order as I really dislike them, however when I bit half way through the burger there was one in there which completely put me off eating anymore, very disappointed in five guys.

I didn’t receive my food even tho it said it was delivered, the delivery driver also probably made off with my food I paid for.

How do these places get away with wrong orders all the time. How hard is it to make the correct food that is ordered. Unbelievable. Always happening. Shocking considering the money we pay too

First ever visit, and sadly the last. Exceptionally over priced for a very small burger. Plastic processed cheese, most of which was stuck to the foil it was wrapped in. There is absolutley no justification for charging £10.95 for a bacon cheese burger that was far from "premium". Overall, very dissapointed.

DO NOT EAT HERE Myself and my partner both ate hamburgers on Sunday (1 normal hamburger, one bacon cheeseburger, 1 medium Cajun fries and one refill drink) at roughly 6pm. We paid £29.60 for the food. However, we have both been horrifically ill since we ate this food. Since 11pm Sunday evening, I have been up vomiting every 30 minutes since I got home amounting to 23 times! As well as having diarrhoea. This is the worst food poisoning I have ever experienced. My partner has also been having explosive diarrhoea and vomiting since roughly the same time. This meant we have both had to take a day off work to recover from this and possibly more depending on how we feel on Tuesday. We have both continued to have sickness and diarrhoea throughout the day today. This from a burger is unacceptable. We have both eaten at five guys in different locations and never had a problem and would like to continue to be good customers but I don’t think we will be returning. We would like to make a formal complaint about this, what action will be taken for this? We are experiencing pretty dreadful food poisoning so if the same standards of hygiene continue here, others will suffer the same consequences as us. Will we receive a full refund to compensate for this? We have also reported this issue to the food hygiene standards agency.

Absolutely disgusted with the price of the food. Two cheese burgers, two small fries and two shakes £40!!! The burger was 4/10 just a standard burger, didn't get that wow factor, no flavour in meat. Fries 0/10 literally beyond salty. Threw them in bin. Shake 10/10 Also the atmosphere is soooo loud they pump music. So annoyed I payed it tbh. That's almost my weeks shopping worth of money 🙄🙄🙄 Never returning again and will be telling people about this price and lack of taste.

Great service and food is amazing!! Shame the restaurant is quite cold and also has dirty tables/floor which weren’t cleaned in the half hour or so we were there.

Five Guys is usually my favourite place to grab a bite, but this specific branch must have had a really bad day. The store is quite small, so seating was limited, and most tables were left messy for the entire 35 minutes I was there, despite quieter moments. The fries were stale and lacked flavour, while the burger buns were soggy and greasy, with the burgers put together poorly. On a positive note, the staff were friendly when taking my order. I usually have good experiences with Five Guys, so I’ll raise this with their customer service and update my review if things improve on my next visit.

Having already tried the other four Five Guys locations in South Wales, this was the last one on our list. We ordered two Burger Bowls, one Double Cheeseburger, and two drinks around 8:45pm. Unfortunately, the staff seemed uninterested, and the atmosphere felt cold, much like the food. There wasn't any mayo, relish, or mustard pots included with the bowls, resulting in a rather dry overall taste. Even the drink selection in the Freestyle Coke machine was limited and tasted weaker than at other locations. Shocking standard of food. Over £10 for a sweaty foil wrapped burger and £4 for chips served in a takeaway cup. They were so salty we couldn't give them to the kids. First and last time we'll be visiting. Avoid

First time visiting at 5guys Bridgend. Burger was stunning it was oozing with gorgeousness. Bit pricey tho, but ok as a treat. Staff were friendly enough. They need to employ someone to clean the tables as they were not very clean.
