Five Guys in Bridgend

The place itself had a strange odour, As if a dirty floor mop had been used ,if that makes sense. A dustbin sour odour. 4 staff members , working at a snails pace. Burger was just warm , very mean on the add ons .eg, onions /lettuce etc. Chips had been kept warm. Milkshake was ok. Used the toilet , which appeared clean to the eye ,, but had a strong smell of wee . The whole place needs a good clean . It was empty , so I know why now.

Food delivered via uber Nearly an hour late and totally cold Called to complain the ‘Manager’ said they had processes that prevented this happening He couldn’t process that it was cold and inedible

We order a takeaway from 5 Guys. Not recommend. Meal looked as if thrown together plus drinks missing from order will not be back.

Disappointed, don't get me wrong staff member was really nice that served us but that was it. Bacon burger all fell apart as soon as you picked it up and fries were way too salty. There are better places to eat at Bridgend if you are out shopping that won't cost £35 for 2 burgers, 1 fries and 2 sodas.

Was looking for a place to have some lunch today with my 9 y/o and decided to give this a try. Burgers were pretty decent but squished as they wrap em, the chips are stale & soft, the milkshakes are OK (but the banana tastes more like vanilla). In the end we paid £34 for a bacon burger, a little cheeseburger, one portion of fries and 2 milkshakes. I wish I had taken him to the Burger King in the motorway services opposite instead. This is such bad value for money, I can hardly see this surviving in South Wales.

I asked some girls outside if the burgers were good, they said yes, but not cheap, so I gave it a go. The burgers are good, really fresh and flavoursome. Ordering what toppings you want is an added bonus. The relish is tasty and the salad fresh. The chips were overpriced and just OK. Burger King isn't cheap anymore and these are much better. Be prepared to be very thirsty after, there must be a lot of salt in them so I wouldn't recommend eating them often.

Cold, tasteless / bland. No flavour to either the burger, bacon, cheese or any of the sauces - expensive @£31 for 2 burgers and a bag of chips - delivered. Never again

What a shambles. Filthy tables, lazy staff who were more interested in chatting to each other than serving the customers. When I eventually had my burger it was cold and tasteless.I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

People rave about Five Guys, I feel like I’m missing something? 🤷🏼‍♀️ My first Five Guys and probably my last, I’ve never felt so dehydrated from salt in my life. 24hrs later I still can’t drink enough! The food was tasty, the staff helpful and the place clean. I liked that you could customise your burger easily but I’m not sure the inflated prices make it any better than a McDonald’s.

Disappointing dinner. Ordered they Uber Eats, both milkshakes were paid for, but never arrived so we had to request a refund they Uber Eats which will take up to 10 working days! Chips were like warm and soggy when they arrived, burger also like warm and a little dry. I don't know if this is because the Uber Eats deliverer stopped elsewhere before delivering to us (we were tracking her journey and she stopped for some time in Brackla before doubling back and heading to our house) and by the time it got to us the best had just gone. Really disappointing. We have had previous meals with Five Guys elsewhere which were lovely. Unfortunately we won't be using this restaurant at the Designer Outlet again.

My kids and I wanted to buy a milkshake from Five Guys in Bridgend but I had my dog with me and understandably wasn't able to bring him in. We had great customer service from Thomas who took the order from my son while I watched from outside. He was very helpful and encouraging. Plus the milkshake was delicious! A bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

5 guys coming to Bridgend BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED !! It will forever be the best fast food restaurant/take away out there.. your workers are amazing and never have had a problem with anything in any of your local stores!! Prices are average for the service and hard work they put into their making of the food!! Always nice to come back and try something new on the menu.. never shy with their toppings neither.. And (bad reviewers) you think 5 guys it too expensive, while your sat in McDonald’s munching your 99p burger cooked from frozen.

Very expensive for what it is. My 15 yr old wanted to try it out so I agreed. If he went there on his own he would have needed £18 just for his food! The bill came to £27 to be honest that's pub grub costings not fast food. We ordered basic, nothing extravagant. It was OK but not outstanding. I wouldn't be in a rush to go back due to the cost and to be honest with the food court so near I don't need to.

This is a great place for burger very filling and enjoyable. The staff were really helpful with advising of portion size. The portion sizes were great. Wait was reasonable .highly recommend.

Place was quite busy but the restaurant was very clean. Staff very happy and friendly. I was a little disappointed that they don’t accept phone orders at the moment as I find it easier to choose your sauces/toppings through the app instead of asking at the till. The 2 burgers were really nice, love the crunchy bacon and we had 2 small fries and there was loads, could have split one small fries between us both. I do agree that five guys is expansive but the food was fresh and tasty. Lovely staff member offered us free hot sauce with the Cajun fries as well. Gutted they don’t do the malted shakes anymore but everything tasted great thank you and will be back

Very over rated and extortionate prices. This newly opened fast food joint was extremely busy. I could not see what all the fuss was about. Drinks may be bottomless but how much fizzy liquid can you drink ? Fries may well be freshly prepared but at least clean your spuds before fring them. I went for a Hotdog which was nice enough. The extra toppings are s good idea fresh/fried onion, grilled mushroom etc Certainly not the best fast food joint but not the worst. The place though busy was clean and staff polite. But way, way over priced. Local privately owned pubs/restaurants offer far better food and are more reasonably priced.
