KFC Bridgend in Bridgend

Visited here today as we were hungry after shopping. Probably one of the best KFCs around at the moment as there are not many good ones left! Food was hot, the order was right and they were wiping and cleaning tables as people left. No negative things to say.

waited half a hr for the food. As soon as I had it the mini fillet burger and popcorn chicken was covered in greese to the point it was dripping. I’ve been to many kfc’s and never had this problem

Four chicken nuggets 3 pounds 99 with a mouthless sauce. Didn't show it to be that small on the advertisement. I felt stupid when it turned up look like a bargain bucket on the advertisement. I could pick it up with 2 fingers.Won't be doing that again. But to be fair I Have ordered take away Bucket and the chicken is very And very filling. So if you gonna order here, make sure you understand what you are getting for your money.

Tables were dirty, so I had to ask for a cloth to wipe it. No one came out to clean any table while we were there. One customer had to shout four times about a straw, which he then had the last one. Let's just say could do a lot better.

Ordered the tower meal with 2 chicken wings. Delivery was bang on time, nice polite chap delivering. Little too much sauce on the burger other than that was very nice. Will be back soon :) Thank you

Very nice break from other fast food restaurants. It made a nice change and quick service.

I used to have some issues with this KFC, where the food quality just wasn't great and sometimes they'd forget to add the dips I ordered but in the past few months I can't fault them. Food has been perfect, service has been fantastic, and the order has been correct. I also feel the need to add that the chips are absolutely divine when paired with the garlic buttermilk mayo dip! My favourite place to grab lunch from <3 EDIT: Please give a big thanks to all of your staff. They work wonderfully hard and deserve the praise!

I noticed how the staff are cleaning the restaurant at the end of the shift and I was impressed on how meticulous the tables were cleaned

Great KFC chicken - as usual , but very disappointed that Ice cream Sundaes are advertised , but Bridgend Never has any ice cream whatsoever , and assistants look at me as if I’ve got two heads !!!!

Disgusting total embarrassing would not accept Scottish notes. Belittled in front of customers and refused my hard earned cash

Was told there be a 20 minute wait for chicken! So, the buckets were out of the equation. Some of the shakes weren't filled to correct level, compared to others. This for rectified, but shouldn't have to go back n forth the service desk.

Enjoyed my meal but over loud music being played through restaurant speakers. Had to ask to reduce volume inorder to speak on my mob.

I'd rather drive to Bridgend than use the one in Porth in the Rhondda that's 2 miles from me so that says it all Bridgend is actually decent what I have had from there & the staff are alot nicer

Sorry to report, the food here on bank holiday Monday, around 8.30/9pm was really disappointing, not up to JFCs usual high standards... I'd go as far as to say my meal was the worst KFC I've experienced, the food was Luke warm, the boneless chicken (boneless banquet, land Tender strips meal) was as dry as a bone, really very over cooked and we felt the chicken had been cooked a while previous, as if just laying under the heat lamp.... the staff were pleasant, and the establishment really clean and attractive, but my visit marred by poor quality control.

Music so loud you cant hear anything. Nothing veggie despite menu boards advertising veggie stuff. Disinterested staff

Very slow , nearly 20 before I was served, with only 1 in front of me.

Near to Tesco, Lidl and other big stores... Easy to reach if you are shopping there... Fair prices like any other KFC... Clean and tidy tables and services...

Hot and fresh, and not bad value for money. Significantly better than the one down in Paignton

After having a bad meal we had a voucher and went back, Sharon served us and she was brilliant and the meal was fab. Thank you.

I would give no star's if I could the food definitely wasn't fresh and almost £10.00 for a box of rubbish well you can bet your life they won't be seeing me again.

I do love chicken, but I find KFC portions (for the money) a lot smaller than other chains (hence why I don't use it often). This visit was no exception..... we enjoyed the food, but didn't feel full or satisfied with value for money......but this is just my opinion..... Try it for yourself.

Gets a worse reputation than it deserves

Went here last night food around 7pm, walked in and a worker named Naomi asked us “why you come here” and then followed by “you should have gone to the kfc in the pines” I was so confused and felt really unwelcome as the staff kept coming out laughing amongst each other and looking my way on top of that the burger I had was freezing cold. Chips aight though

Food was good and served quickly. Just slower to serve customers at the counter.

Great food, clean and good parking. Let down by lack of front staff and the self service checkout. I get it saves you money. But it turns a 1 minute order into a 5 minute order.

Spilt drink left on floor too long tables not cleared fast enough coffee very cool

Servers polite and quick but food was warm not hot, and coffee served instead of tea.

Another poor gravy mega box had to ask again for the chips.. and only got a handful.. Will not be coming back..

Given 4 star as rating as a KFC, not a top class restaurant. If you're reading reviews figuring out what a KFC is I think you need to go out more. 🤣 I'm not normally a fan but the wife likes it. Less greasy than normal and very prompt service (compared to Cardiff Centre branch where I always seem to have to wait ages).

Burger was terrible. Chicken was thin and stringy. Also the both of mine and my partners meals were cold. Had a supercharger burgur but the sauce the smallest amount I've ever seen on a burger. Won't be visiting again

Takes ages to get any food & when you do get it, it’s often cold & missing sauces.

The appearance of the car park was better than other branches that I have visited. One item ordered on the board was unavailable, but the staff were polite and helpful with my new choice. My wife and I still struggle with the atmosphere in most branches. We eat in the car.

Not too bad this visit, normally not tidied up i.e. food / rubbish left on tables bins full and everything could do with a wipe down.

do not recommend, done an order on the app got to the second window for the lady to say they don’t do sundaes but even tho the moneys been taking out of my account for her then to say we can’t get a refund and could only swap them for krushems or a side

Chose what I wanted, but a few signboards were empty. So I ordered 3 bargain buckets. Was offered a receipt [ which is rare these days] I declined. Around the corner to delivery. Nice to see the employees orchestrated and making the meals [every takeaway should show the same as KFC] . I felt confident in my order. However, the takeaway bag's, OK for the environment, are not practical or large enough to accommodate 3 bargain buckets! I would encourage KFC to offer patrons of drive through, to bring their own carrier bag to the delivery point. Those brown paper bags holding your orders are out of date and a new solution found, such as seaweed extracted waterproof enzymes, or grease proof bag's [as in my childhood-I'm 64]. Other than this, I love my KFC. If your HQ search the records from the 1980's, you will find my market research on siting a KFC in the pontyclun areas. I was living in 5 Elwyn St. Coedely At that time ,

Food is always luke warm or cold when served.

Left with 2 other customers waiting with no service, 1 manager and 2 crew members playing on their Mobile phones while we waited. Ended up walking out empty handed. Unprofessional joke of a service. As seems to be the case in the Bridgend area.

Just what you would expect from a KFC. It was quiet when we were there so service was quick

Time I went it was really quite so the food was hot but did find the corn on cob was dry ( could do with putting butter on them ). Service was very good.

Ordered food for delivery, got my food and the food I ordered didn’t come, it was complete rubbish, I ordered over £50 worth of stuff, and it was all thrown in a box and manager couldn’t care at all.. will never be getting food from here again, don’t fall for them, ruined a birthday meal..

Waited ages for food as the staff couldn't get things right, food wasnt that hot either ,was disappointed and wouldn't be going again , as can get better else where and cheaper

Went there today ordered one meal the chicken wing we had had a hair inside the batter went round to see what they can do they said it wasn’t them got a new piece and another hair was in it went round again and got a mouth full of marbles from the manager Emily Davies saying there not refunding that they don’t think they did it and was shouting at us saying we planted it by the end had to throw the food away and no refund the staff there are absolute crabs 🦀

Very dirty place! Very dirty in the ladies toilet. The floor dirty. Tables and chairs greasy and dirty from food. Food not too bad.

Fillet tower burger was okay, but should have had a “assembly may be required” note. The piece of chicken was dry, rubbery, disgusting. The pot of gravy was half a pot of gravy. The drive-thru attendee was trying to rush us through, cutting me off a lot. Will not be eating here again..

Twice I have been to drive throu a ordered £40 for partner an kids an been wrong what's more worrying is the hygiene an the girl with pink or red in her hair chewing gum over people's food as you prepare it ill be sure to get a picture next time Disgusting fair play

Took our children to KFC bridgend on Saturday. Ordered our meals, the chicken was over cooked, just couldn't eat, due to the meat being hard. My child spilt her drink, therefore we moved tables. I went to the counter to explain, has I didn't want anyone slipping on the spillage. The young lady gave me a look and replied alright. When a young lad came out to clean up, with the dirty mop, it smelt of really strong bleach. I have worked in catering myself and attended courses to know bleach should not be used. Won't be rushing back. Think a few courses are needed

It's KFC at the end of the day, but the staff were great. Parking and drive through are an absolute nightmare.

Rarely a queue for the drive-thru and pretty quick service. I’d avoid going inside as it always seems to take twice as long to get served. There have been the odd case of missing items from my order which is why it’s marked down to three stars. But the food has always been pretty good quality for a KFC.

The boy who served us today was lovely.he was really helpfull and cheerfull and very polite. A credit to you kfc. We ate there between 4 0pm and 4.34 it was lovely seeing staff enjoyingbthier job.

Stopped doing full.fat Pepsi and sometimes we have had food missing from our order. Its now I think overpriced, and that's why it's never busy. Say, this used to be our fave place

What the hell ? Chicken dry and smelly old and bad ! It did taste like rubber I was hungry and I ate it in the car... but I have to point this out as this was one of the worst food I ever had the kebab shop have better chicken than you... no wonder this place is always empty... if any of the head office will read please go there and check it out, because somebode can and will close your business... as this is not acceptable...

Been here many times. Bought 5 meals, they 1 dip. That's a bit trivial but we all had very scrawny meals. Think they bought a load of little sparrows not chicken's very disappointed this time. But in fairness its normally pretty good.

Messed up mine and my familys order, and the guy that took my order was useless, but he did seem new.

My wife orderd a bucket for us off just eat. It turned up the popcorn chicken tastes like rubber the chicken was overcooked and dry and I lost 3 days work through food poisoning would not recommend anyone to go to this KFC

KFC in the UK has gone downhill. The standards are very poor

They never seem to have mash or gravy, quiet a shame as it was the only good sides in my opinion. The Fries are always cold and genuinely taste like they've been there for hours. Chicken however always tastes amazing, always comes warm and never had anything wrong with them. Hopefully they'll get mash and gravy again.

On visiting KFC, in bridgend on herston Lane, what a nice designed interior, shame everything else let it down, service was appalling, took 30 mins after placing order at counter, for anything to surface, they more interested with drive thru, and just eat and deliveroo orders, the manager was nowhere to be seen leaving one new team member on the counter, whe asked to speak to the manager over the disgrace in service and state of restaurant floor, and he finally missed on over, from hiding in the kitchen behind the fry counter, to be of no use to the restaurant and its service in any way, given the chance I would use Sarn KFC, better service, friendlier staff, and higher quality of food good luck guys Hope you all enjoy 😉

Not the tastiest KFC I've eaten maybe the Colonel hasn't shared all the spices in his secret recipe. Self serv machine didn't give me a receipt but the counter staff were happy to produce a copy. Food was prepared quickly, order was accurate and it was hot. The deserts menu was devoid of anything I'd consider a desert only a pineapple stick. I sat by the window facing the entrance door and noticed then sills and window frames were far from clean, and the white dado rail was thick with dust. To be fair the tables chairs and floor were clean, and I hope this lack of attention to cleaning detail doesn't extend elsewhere. Overall OK but not great

Got my order wrong, didn't include my dips that I paid for. Didn't bother to ask me, if I had a points card and couldn't put the points on. also refused to give me a pot of vegan mayo stating that it was their police not to, even know I spent nearly £30 I would have though a pot of vegan mayo was the least I could do. Total rip off, I'll never be back

Had tower burger drive through mid morning, chicken was overcooked and struck me as last night's. Cold bun straight from fridge and cheese not melted. We love KFC but this was appalling.

Absolutely appalling. Ordered £60 worth of food and half of it didnt even come . 4 piece box meal was missing chicken on all 3 meals , no drinks and no sides . Called the restaurant to be told that theres nothing they can do , dont know why so much was missing and to basically just deal with it . Evertime ive ordered its never right . Will never order here again . How hard is it . The girl on the phone even mentioned it may be beacuse we ordered so much ... hmm 4 meals isnt alot each with a drink and 3 sides isnt alot .

This place has to be the worst fast food joint I have ever seen. The ‘Drive Through’ you can see into the kitchens, looks unclean, staff look grubby and can’t be bothered attitude, and the ‘food’ served is an absolute disgrace. I bought a tower burger and drove out and parked offsite. In the box was something that looked like had been returned several times by some other customer and they (kfc) kept passing to the next customer in the hope it would go. It was cold, over cooked but not quite burnt and drowned in ketchup & mayo. Not looking fit for human consumption it went straight in the bin. This s**thole should be closed down.

Bought a boneless banquet at driver through and the chicken fillets were no bigger than guppy fish Big rip off and will never Be going there again Advice check meals before driving off 🤬

Service is terrible! Girl on drive thru looked like she wished to be anywhere else other than in store. Food was horrendous added by watching a worker walking around stirring my son's drink by hand with a cardboard straw. From the view of the drive thru it looks like the place needs to be condemned, it was filthy...not surprising that we won't be going again!

What a shambles and disgusting place to try and order food from! Do they actually care enough about their jobs to do a decent one and make a effort to keep a customer happy? I ordered a chicken burger meal at approximately 10.30pm a few nights ago on my way home from work, it was dead quiet in there with no customers whatsoever. They said I would have to wait for a hash brown to be cooked, after waiting over 10 minutes for this to be done I had to drive around the drive though area, as the doors were locked. After an irate chat with a server I was finally handed my food, the less said about that the better. I'd have to be starving before I ever go there again! I hope a manger from there reads these reviews and maybe manage the place instead of letting it be run like it is, it's abysmal and with all the negative reviews something needs to change!

Food was okay, not my best meal. My zinger burger was very gristley. Put me off on my first bite. And one of our gravys was lumpy. No one's fault. Just poor product. The store was pretty dirty. And empty. I cleaned our table and chairs. The floor was covered in food. No issues with the staff all polite.

I rang the store to speak with a manager as I had to order from the office to make sure they had enough chicken for the massive order I had placed. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Evan. I must say he was so professional and down to earth and he couldn’t do enough for me. As I turned up to store and placed the order he made sure everything was ready for me the food was delicious and made fresh to order. I don’t know what was better though the food or the customer service skills from Evan. It’s people like this that make you go back for repeat business. Thank you again to all the kfc staff and a massive thank you to evan. 👌👍

Just been here kept waiting in drive through then when did take order left the mike on so we could here all there conversation. When we got to pay window girl could hardly make eye contact either us, gets to next window a young boy asked us what we ordered then drives home only to find both large sides are missing really poor service

food was 10/10. was eating my food inside and there were 2 workers, both blonde one short one taller. both kept looking over and giving disgusting glances over at me and my friends. needs to improve on customer service:) not even a smile from them the whole time i was in the building. didn’t feel welcomed by those girls however, got served by a girl with short brown hair. she gave 10/10 customer service as expected in a place like this. be better.

Ordered through KFC app to collect at drive thru. Spoke to girl on speaker and gave her our order number and she took payment and we were told to go to the second window. We were then told at the second window that the Krushems weren't available neither was the corn side even though payment had been taken and they said they would give us a refund. We asked to speak to manager. My husband didn't like the sides available so asked for a piece of chicken instead and the manager refused and there was no apology. The manager was a young boy that was miserable and not willing to put things right, he didn't care and had a bad attitude. The staff around him also looked miserable, not a good team of people working there. They need to learn some customer services. They need to smile and be friendly and willing.

Give a wide birth..bins and tables overflowing and only people getting served are deliveroo and customers left in limbo. Staff totally untrained and manager was a joke.
