Five Guys in Croydon

First time ordering from them, much better than the branches I’ve tried in central London. The little bacon cheese burger was amazing, and I like that you can customise it. The shakes are a bit too sweet for me, I mixed chocolate and Oreo’s. I won’t order that again but definitely the burgers!

I am told this is typical of Five Guys, I don’t know as I had never been before. The vegetarian sandwich wasn’t worth finishing and the fries were dry. My fellow diner loved his burger and the staff were kind and helpful but I would not return.

I enjoyed my Birthday lunch out at Five Guys Croydon last month!

Their peanut butter milkshake gives my tongue life - it’s the best there is….the strawberry shake is amazing too. Their salted fries are also some of the best on the high street - would highly recommend.

Stopped in for lunch and the burgers and fries were super fresh and delicious! Everything was cooked to order. Clean restaurant and friendly staff.

Piss poor service, train the people you hire at the cash register to be more polite. Particularly was the lady working here who gave the bad service.

Five guys offer a selection of burgers, fries, and milkshakes. I enjoyed a little cheeseburger and a banana milkshake. The burger, made to order, was fresh, hot, and delicious. The milkshake was thick and flavorful. Ample seating was available, and the restaurant was clean. Parking is unavailable; one would need to use the multi-story car park. Wheelchair access is provided. Prices are about average.

Whenever I am in the area delivering to a local supermarket, I pop in here for a burger & vanilla milkshake. People mention it's pricey, but there's that saying.... " You get what you pay for " Premium price = Premium food. I always get a friendly service with great food 👍 Credit to staff 👌

I haven't seen it for ages a team to work so hard and really involved to give satisfaction to their customers! The hamburger and chips were delicious as well as the pistachio milkshake!

Totally rude service both black staff (man and the woman) at the counter laughed at my face and don’t even let a pregnant lady use the toilet. Overpriced burgers and doesn’t look appealing.

Dry Guys… Food was really bad. Dry dry dry burger and so small for a full size. Don’t know how they can get away with serving so small and tasteless, I should gone to Burger King or McDonald’s. Server was great though. And place was ok but could have done with a clean.

I ate all beef hotdogs. It was so good. Juicy beef hotdogs and the bun were so delicious, too. I mean, I don't usually mine the bun, but five guys bun was exceptional. Only for my taste.

Amazing quality burger, the server Zsofia Erica ( i hope thats her name, it is what was on my reciept) has amazing customer service and made me feel very welcome.

This 5 guys is well positioned, has a good service but the potatoes fries portion are less than the usual .

I am a regular customer at this store five guys but i have never had such a bad experience by ordering from the girl Crystable a black women , she was so rude that it made me get out of the store! after i took my order i was planing to eat there when i made my order she was so rude and her facial expressions were scaring me for real !! please speak with that girl because you are loosing custumers with this horrible customer service !

Not great at all, missed expectations. Lukewarm burgers, forget the bacon, you can't taste it, cheese and bun were nice, couldn't taste much BBQ sauce. Also, peppers, no, not jalapeno peppers, green peppers.... Why? Odd I think. My wife's burger was very pink in the middle so I am hoping it was freshly ground beef. Chips were stupidly large and served in a cup?? Chips were ok, nothing to sing about. Choice of sauces, Ketchup or Mayo..... And vinegar. Coke was a bad mix from their machine, should have complained but didn't. Staff felt very removed from the dining area, it's certainly not a restraunt, felt almost COVID like seperation. Shouting food numbers across the room was unclear, and there were only three customers. Hate to think what it would be like if it was noisy. £46 for £25 worth of food. NOT an American experience, they would laugh at this. Will not be returning

Went to five guys yesterday. Very expensive. The customer service was slightly hostile in my opinion. The options were limited. There was no chicken burger so I went with vegetable sandwich. The “sandwich” was just vegetable in a burger bun, chips weren’t fresh. Bit disappointing really. Meal wasnt worth £12.00. I wouldn’t recommend personally.

Nice burger but it should be for over £11 Very unpleasant hot dog. Barely warm and slippery. Good chips. Somebody shouting out numbers when your food is ready. That's ok if you know the system and your not chatting. Nothing for vegetarians apart from chips and a cheese sandwich. Losing a lot of customers. Ridiculously expensive for a burger shop.

Five Guys was never particularly a budget option when it comes to fast food but it is at least very filling and portions feel generous, although it's not like you're not paying for it.

It's a five guys, with a security guard which was different I suppose. Foods as good as always. Nice big restaurant too with nice seating and tables, biggest five guys I've been to yet. Super clean, lovely staff and great service. Weirdly did not accept my £10 which has a small rip in it, pretty sure that's illegal as it's still legal tender and the rio was very small.

Very good quality burgers. They are juicy and flavourful, you can really tell all of the ingredients are high quality and fresh. All of the burgers can be customised to create your favourite combo. My favourite is a cheeseburger (comes with 2 patties and cheese) with jalapenos, lettuce, pickles, ketchup and mustard. So delicious! The fries are amazing, and with the Cajun seasoning, even better. Very moorish. I think the price is very good considering the quality of the produce, and size of the portions being so huge. You get a heap of fries and the burgers are extremely filling. Milkshakes are very good plus refillable soft drinks are available too. Staff are always very pleasant and the place is kept clean. Best spot in Croydon for a good quality burger.

Nothing more to say really then all fresh to death best fast food burger you can get and for what you get its not expensive,I've spent 25 30 pound on burgers for them to be awful always know what you get with 5 guys,tha k you for bring happiness into millions of life's!!!

What a joke for the price of the burgers that they charging there. You would hope that you would get good customer service as well. I ordered a burger for over £20 and I sat down in the shop for over 20 minutes waiting for the burger only for them to realise that they didn’t call my number And had me sitting down for the whole time of my parking ticket while the staff stand around joking and talking in the kitchen. What a joke people need to stop spending their top money in places like this so don’t appreciate peoples money when they come in.

Deliveroo driver ate my order and replaced it with a McDonald's burger. Disgusting.

Très bons hamburgers à composer soi-même. Les frites à l'huile d'arachides sont excellentes et servies en grande quantité. Seul le prix est assez élevé : plus de 30 GBP par personne pour un menu (hamburger+ frites+ boisson). Après être allé à un autre Five Guys on m'a expliqué pourquoi nous avions eu tant de frites : 1 moyenne frite est pour 2 personnes et une grande frite est pour 3. Ne pas commander 1 grande frite pour chacun au risque de vous retrouver avec beaucoup d'excès 😅 Cela ne nous a pas été précisé dans ce resto et nous avons donc payé beaucoup trop de frites.

First time here.Honestly....way too much meat in such a small 🍔 stack. Their 🍟 are to die for (amazingly crunchy, real potatoes) & whilst you wait you can munch on 🥜...but not for me. Maybe I'll try the 🌭 next time....

My partner was waiting to place our order and I was taking peanuts..the guy at the till (22nd nov '23 at 1900 hrs)says the peanuts are for customers and not for public.. a regular customer at this Croydon branch for the past 1.5 years.. felt insulted to be told that..check with the person before judging if he's a paying customer or "general public". Sick attitude, that i have never experienced at five guys anywhere! Train this chap. I will think twice about walking into my favourite five guys restaurant because of this incident!

Burger and and bread was a could, when I told the guy, he said one side of bread will be taken from fridge and we don't heated!!

The food is fresh and the milkshakes are amazing. However everything is very expensive for fast food ,but the portion sizes are very large which is great. Staff is great 👍

Worst ever service from one of the great chain. I am a big fan of Five guys and used to give my best reviews for them. This croydon branch has very rude staffs who doesn't know even how to greet a customer and behave properly. - Staff saying themselves as " To be manager" and no manager turned up even after requesting. Even after placing the order, my order was on hold as the so called staff "Gregg" was unhappy with me as I told him to behave properly. - Requested to use the washroom and said to prepare the order but staff was so rude to say not allowed with high pitch. My question is " Is it really written some where? There are better ways to communicate the message , is n't it?

I love five guys, the food is always excellent, but the location of this neighborhood is a little dangerous! We had problems with people coming just to make a mess. Even though the security guard had people with him, they managed to disturb some of the food on the table and cause discomfort to customers.

Ordered on deliveroo and my cheese burger arrived WITHOUT THE BURGER PATTIES AND CHEESE. And chips were cold. Phoned up to let them know how ridiculous that was and they said it was impossible and that the deliveroo driver must’ve opened my burger and taken out the patties. A total JOKE!

Over priced and over hyped burger. Made the mistake of going there few days ago. The lady taking the order was good, burger was not. Cold bun and terrible taste of the burger. The didn't have any trays and milkshake was mediocre. Fries were good. Won't be going there ever again.

Great place to stop. I trust them with my gluten and dairy allergy. I have Celiac and never had a problem. I either get a bowl with a plain burger with lettuce and tomato or a lettuce wrap. Also get a plain hot dog in a bowl. French fries always cooked in a dedicated frier snd the BEST! On a side note, they serve peanuts and may not be the place to go with peanut allergy.

Good fast food bar. Big portions, with plenty of toppings to choose. A bit pricey. Big up for being open on Friday, at 23.20. All the other food places around were shut.

Unfortunately Croydon’s Five Guys is fast turning into a dive. I try to support local shops etc but many times they make it hard for you support. Today I bought burger fries and a drink. They are expensive but I normally like the flavour - today the taste of the burger was off. Maybe the beef had been left out previously but it tasted & smelled off/stale. I informed the manager who told me there was nothing wrong. As a regular customer I was shocked. My friend who was with me agreed that the burger smelled stale. He (the shift manager) looked incredulous as if I was speaking another language, after much ado he did offer another burger or anything I wanted but I refused. Another problem with this store is that they sometimes give generous portions of fries and at times not enough. They are inconsistent in quality and I will not be returning. Perhaps they should model themselves on their Oxford St branch or even Bromley. I’ll spend my money elsewhere let’s hope Croydon’s Five Guys doesn’t get rated the worst store ever. It’s a shame really! Just because you are based in Croydon and have certain perceptions doesn’t mean you have to treat Croydonians with disdain

I paid for beacon cheeseburger but was no beacon in my burgers and the tomato was frozen. They forgot to put the checkup too, overall i was expecting something good for £9.50! The patty was good but is overpriced for what you get.

The juiciest beef burgers and the best fries. The milkshakes are good but a bit overpriced. The place is always clean and the staff friendly. Orders are received quickly. I got my usual which is a cheeseburger and Cajun fries with a Oreo milkshake.

Good burger and fries. The fries were a bit salty, but with sauces, it worked. More of an American burger taste which is hard to find.

As always nice food and quick service. I'm not sure about the venue's location...dirty roads full of shady people and homelesz asking for money or a ciggy. Compared to other Five Guys restaurants that one is even bit risky going to.

I like this place for eat in. Friendly staff, quick service but for take away orders are always mess up.

If you ate vegetarian DO NOT EAT HERE! I order my groups food, two double cheese burgers with everything, a milkshake and a grilled chees sandwich. I watched as the server prepared all our food. I could not tell you what the grilled cheese sandwich tasted like as the server didnt change gloves while preparing the meat and veggie food. Before you ask, i didn't kick up a stink because experience has shown me this does not change anything, just took our food, gave my friends theres and binned my sandwich.

Bacon Cheeseburger £9.50 Regular Fries £4.50 Chocolate Milkshake £5.25 Total £19.20 Ordered in store for a takeaway, restaurant looked clean and tidy. Food cooked freshly, openly in front of you. Portion sizes were large, regular fries would feed two in my case. Really delicious burger, choose your own toppings free. Staff were polite and service was pretty quick. So the question is £19.20 for burger, fries and milkshake 🤷🏻‍♂️ I will certainly be back for more.

Top marks to the friendly, enthusiastic staff here plus a tidy clean and stylish decor. The downside of all of this is that the food is ok and unremarkable and the prices are inflated. On this basis unlikely I will return to part with that sort of money for that sort of food.
