I can't justify spending £3.39 on one portion of chips. And a poor portion at that.

Poor value for money, bought battered sausage and chips for £6.38 and the portion of chips were really small with a mixture of hot and warm chips and the sausage was hard with hardly any batter. Gave an extra star for friendly staff.

The food was delicious, I don't wanna lie. The service was slow and sad employees, I know that is because are tired, but was a mood changing for me, unfortunately. Regarding the price, its a bit expensive taking in consideration the area and other fish and chips shops.

Food is always great. Great deals also.

Defiantly not gluten free coming from a coeliac!! I would never eat here again. Tried it once and got ill gave it benefit of the doubt now I'm ill a second time!

Would like more vegan and vegetarian options like blossom flower fish or jackfruit fish options and chios are great

Been visiting this chippy for years normally really good,but today the tall elderly lady staff member was really rude and un helpful.when I questioned why she was being rude she said she felt unwell,won't be going back

Just got 2 large haddock and chips the portions was more like a kids meal. Eat here regular but think I will start to look else where very disappointed.

Very impressed. Very nice.. cooked to order food so have to wait for it to cook but not long wait and well worth any wait to be honest. Food deals in these financial times also big massive win also.

Multiple HAIRS found in fish! Have been going to this place for 20 years but was horrified to discover not one hair but two in different areas in the fish! Was offered a voucher to return but declined as I can’t bring myself to go back.

So I have just got some "breaded mushrooms" and chips and away enjoying my food I bite into this! SCAMPI! please be aware if you have a fish allergy, I really really do not like fish and this put my off my whole meal and made me sick! Not happy at all. Just to add insult I went there again tonight and the size of the portion of chips I got for £2.50 is absolutely shocking! This place has gone downhill since the new owners! I won't be eating here again.

The staff were waiting for Chips to cook, we had senior fish and chips, sav and chips twice and a kids fish and chips, it was well worth waiting for, you couldn't have been made more welcome. Highly recommended

I'll be honest...No Rockeel pluse an odd taste of oil throughout my Fish and chips l was not happy.. It's my local Chippy.. threw out most of my meal. I'll avoid this convenient shop.

Good chicken and fish the best place in Romford

One one person serving who was a bit stressed was a bit rude at times. Food was nice though, lots of chips.

Tonight was the 3rd time I have ordered delivery from here and every time I cannot fault the hot & delicious fish & chips other than I can’t eat all of the generous portion. I have Coeliac disease which really limits my takeaway options, so it’s great to be able to confidently order a safe gluten free takeaway with my family and not feel I’m missing out.

Vert small portions of chips every time, only go for convenience. You have to order large chips cos medium portion is a normal shops small. Expensive for what you get. Went again for convenience and payed £7.15 for a small cardboard tray of chips with a pie. Disgusting prices. Another chip shop needs opening in hilldeane to humble this rip off merchant, wouldn't take a lot to beat this Mickey taker.

On Sunday 7 November, two ladies were working. I asked for a skinless cod and chips and they said they don’t do it. I know they do it because I got it before but they just couldn’t be bothered. Ended up going for the one with skin and the cod was disgusting and clearly was cooked hours before. Management needs to sort out their weekend people.

One of the best takeaways I've been to. Burgers I a bit pricey but the taste and quality is really good.

Walked straight out last night after seeing the prices, I get more for my money at any other take away. Go Inco on Petersfield, much nicer and loads more choice too. Absolutely disgusting value here now.

Not impressed one bit. No one in front, placed a large order. 8 staff members running around completely hectic with no one really taking charge. Waited 20mins until I had to ask what was taking so long & then advised waiting on cod even though when I placed my order they had cod but was obviously given out to online orders. By the time I got my food & got home they missed out an order due to their overly hectic non routine. Was not impressed one bit when you pay £28 for a couple of bits of fish, small chips etc. Definitely not going here again

Didn’t have the best experience. Took about 15 minutes just for someone to actually speak to me and take my order, then another 20 mins for a couple cod and chips. The pricing also doesn’t seem to add up and is on the expensive side but waited so long couldn’t be bothered to argue. As for the food, expected better for the price. Wouldn’t recommend or go again.

Nice but small portions. Large chips is for one person, not enough to share a bag. For £3.20 I would expect a much more. The curry sauce is very nice, but again, a tiny pot for £2.

Staff are very polite and hospitable. Cod and chips are very nice. You can see from my images the takeaway is Covid-19 aware with all the necessary precautions. My only small moan is that their prices are on the slightly expensive side however their quality in their food and good customer service makes up for it 😁

I live local, every time I have been in there the customer service has always been good. Fish is always fresh and tasty. Chips are nice. Also had the fish cakes and sausage in batter and they are always good. Recently thought I'd try the southern fried chicken fried and wow! Forget KFC.... I'm coming here from now on. Delicious! Bit greasy, but what can you expect... of hits the spot. Mmm delicious! Cant wait to go back!
