Since it changed hands it's not the same the batter on the fish was soggy and the chips were inedible in fact they went in the bin I doubt I will go again the staff were polite that's why I've given 2 stars the fish and chips only deserve one star

Chips not cooked enough fish oily and over priced not one ill go to again

Some of the best fish and chips in town. Beautiful, large pieces of fresh fish. Very light and perfectly done. The chips are proper homestyle chips. Large portions. Great service. Delivery is punctual and the restaurant immediately communicates any issues. Great experience every time.

Just had there dinnertime special, plenty if chips and fish was huge. Cane with gravy and a drink. Would recommend highly

Have been using this place on and off for a couple of years, when working locally. Was in again today and got a large (and it was LARGE) fish and chips. The fish was perfectly cooked. Small niggle but the chips could do with dipping before serving when they`ve been lying a while. Just to heat them up again. But overall, have always had good fish and chips from here.

Do not get this place confused with Murgatroyds

Absolutely the worst chips I've ever tasted. The chips were pale and pasty and tasted like plastic. Totally inedible and the only place for them is the bin. Take a bit of pride in what you do. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star
