Been using Taking the Pizza for 20 years & never had a bad pizza. Their donner meat is the best we’ve ever had from anywhere. Their spaghetti bolognese & chili con carne are home made & top notch. Would recommend them every day of the week

The pizza here is always spot on. Been coming for years trying different stuff and can never complain!

Last week I hosted a 60th birthday party in Farsley Leeds 28. I ordered 30 pizzas in 3 different flavours to be delivered to the venue FCC Bar & Lounge. They delivered 15 at 6.30 and a further 15 at 7.30. The pizzas were amazing as was the service I received. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the food. Highly recommended. Thank you so much!

Very poor pizza. The peppers and onions were raw on top and it needed at least another 15 minutes in the oven. Really wouldn't order from this place again.

We decided to get some takeout delivered, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it came. The food was still nice and warm when it arrived, which was great since I'm picky about that. We got two pizzas along with a large side of fries, and everything was just perfect! 😋

One word Crap We would not give it to the Dogs

I won't lie, I was quite drunk when I got something to eat from here, but, what I got was ok, and I scoffed the lot down, happy days

Don’t complain if your food is burnt! You will be greeted with the cook trying to justify it, having a serious attitude and calling you a fussy eater 🤣. Brilliant! No, I just don’t like burnt food. Also messed up one of our other meals. Too much competition in the area to treat customers like that!

Such a great place and unassuming, Farsley is lucky to have this gem. Over the last 16 years I've seen slight changes in the recipes but for the last few years it's been consistently excellent. There's a huge choice of menu even though I've always stuck to a faithful half dozen choices and the service is always bob on. I've always collected and never had to wait more than 15 to 20 mins even on the busiest evenings. The price is fair too, cheaper than local restaurants and very competitive with other take aways. Only word of caution is the sofa in the waiting area, you'll sink deep and it'll take a gargantuan effort to leave! Totally recommend this place though.

Ordered a take away for delivery, service was prompt and the food was lovely and hot when it arrived (and I'm fussy about hot food!). We ordered 2 pizzas with a large fries and couldnt fault it! 😋

Got delivery from this place, was very good would highly recommend it, and nice surprise got for half price too, 👍.

What the hell have you just sent me? Asked for barbecue crust and they send the base barbecue and it's hardly even cooked disgusting.

God forbid you ask for the free garlic bread. Microwave door came off its hinges. More like taking the piss 🤭 p.s sofa could do with some E45 (picture of the pathetic amount of mayo given)

Enjoyed the pepperoni pizza we got liked how it was extra crispy for our liking also my daughter liked her chicken poppers and garlic pizza.

We buy from Takin the Pizza more often than not every week and usually love the food. Tonight ordered Chicken Tikka Kebab and it was so awful couldn’t eat it. The chicken was rubbery and didn’t even taste of chicken. So disappointed

Always used Takin' the Pizza when lived over in West Yorkshire and whenever I visit, its a must for me to get the famous Cannonball Run which cannot be matched at any other takeaway. The sauce is unique to them and definitely worth it..... nothing like it over where we live now 😏

I've used Takin the Pizza for almost 30 years and they've always been consistently good, whether it's been a Calzone, Deep South Chicken or my go to meal deal in recent months, 2 Doner Kebab's and 1 chips. It hits the spot each time, the portions are good and delivery is usually mega fast. I'm sure there are fancier takeaways out there but for the money I don't think you can get much better.

The best garlic tomato pizza bread! I’m a garlic tomato pizza bread addict and it’s taken me ages to find the perfect one! I pretty much get one every weekend it’s amazing, crispy base and doughy crust but with loads of tomato sauce and garlic 🤤

Pest pizza in the area a bit pricey but you pay for what you get staff friendly and the 2 main chef's have been there many many years very experienced freshly made dough fresh toppings experienced staff = 1 hell of a pizza 🍕 😋 👌

Walking down from home past the back of the shop about to order some food, and what do I see... A congregation of rats at the back of the shop, changed my mind and went to Sorrento's. What a set of foul gits!!! Do yourself a favour and avoid this place

I used to work here and the place is amazing for food the staff are lovely the owner is great making sure your food is right and done to your liking, the place always cleaned very well… omg if you order Donna make sure you try there home made yogurt sauce the best of the best 😍😍 pizzas are the best also stone baked not many places cook there pizzas like that! Best taste ever, also the review saying they rats back of the place is a lie because you cannot access back of the place unless u work here or at the hairdressers next door… so don’t listen to their lies

Pizza was very good with a generous amount of toppings. Delivery was fast and arrives at my home within 20 minutes.

Ordered some burgers from there and as I was eating it loads of little pebbles came into my mouth and nearly broke my teeth Asif it had been dropped on the floor, no refund offered only to make more food…no Thankyou!

Ordered last night and when the pizza arrived my thought was oh dear. Didn't look very nice and i not sure what it was supposed to be. I ordered a cannonball run which is a favourite of mine. The crust was of teeth breaking hardness and there was no picante sauce at all which surely is one of the main toppings. Pepperoni was minimal as were the onions. So I presume I was sent a pepperoni pizza or the cook or staff are not reading the orders properly. Totally disappointed as they are usually good pizzas.

Was doing a gig just near here, I got a Donner kebab for me tea. Staff seemed nice and the kebab was good. Not the best I've had but not the worse.

Paid for extra shoppings that weren’t on the pizza, I ordered a ham & mushroom and it had hardly any ham on and non of the extra I had paid foe. Called to complain and they wouldn’t do anything. The “manager” came on the phone and had a massive attitude problem, Called me a liar and was very rude and aggressive. They have now lost a loyal customer who orders every week

An excellent local choice; nice tasty pizzas on a nice crisp base. Not the usual setup where pizzas are almost a sideline to a take away curry business, but an actual pizza shop that seems to take pride in its pizzas. Also, the pepperoni they use reminds me of the pepperoni you used to get years ago (quite thick and actually tastes like proper pepperoni!), as opposed to the generic really thin stuff you tend to get everywhere else.

Tonight was the third time I've ordered from here as my partner loves the food. I went to collect my order and was given the wrong pizza and realised when I got home (I wouldn't mind but this has happened every time I've ordered from here!). I took the chilli pizza back and they made me my tuna pizza and didn't apologise when I left! The pizza dough was undercooked in the middle, I won't be going back!

Just ordered a pizza of salami with onions. The onions are raw ,the cheese not even melted .. then to top of off covered in Oregano. Poor quality food

They do very good pizza. Farsley institution. My mate Craig doesn't like it. Well just because he's best mates with Zayn Malik's uncle doesn't mean he's right.

I like this place for a takeaway pizza. Delivery service and now online too so if you don't have the cash but fancy a takeaway you can order using easliy online using a card. Don't get too many takeaway pizzas to be honest but recently this has been good

Just ordered a simple Doner Wrap no onions no chilli and well done. Yes it had onions,yes it had chilli and was barely cooked. incompetent idiots !!!!! Total disgrace. Gone down hill so much now. Not sure how it's still trading with all the complaints you read. I certainly wont be going back .Sorrentos at top of farsley so much better.

Ordered a Donner Keebab. They asked for extra money for sauce on it! That’s a first for me. Got home the meat was bone dry salad was bland, will never go back! Baffled how you can do a simple thing so badly! They were taking the piss not PIZZA

The past 2 takeaway from this place have been 5 star the kebabs are the best and the kids love the burgers

My family have ordered from this shop since I was a teen and I’m 37. NEVER AGAIN!! Iv moved back to farsley and ordered twice in a couple of weeks and both have been shockingly bad. This most recent order was the worst, 1 ham and mushroom pizza. It was LITERALLY SWIMMING IN GREASE, only 2 slices where eaten and the rest thrown away, it wasn’t cut when I requested it to be (probably because of the grease it was swimming in) and I asked for garlic on it. I think a whole bulb of garlic had been used. It was a complete waste of money. I called to complain to be told nothing could be done, this is not how you treat loyal paying customers!! If I was to use one word it sum it up it would be AVOID!!

Where do I even start. The age of the staff, 14 at best. To be fair girl on the counter was friendly and helpful but the chefs honestly looked like they could cook a pot noodle. While we wait for the food 3 youths walk in and start bragging to the staff about someone they’ve been bullying and what names they’ve been calling them and why the called them those names. Staff just stood there and laughed. Disgusting. When the food came I had reach over these smelly youths to get the food, and drove home. The tray of donner meat was to be fair spot on, but the pizza was second worst I’ve ever had. Sloppy, greasy, covered in toppings we didn’t even ask for, the sort of food your dog would walk away from, really disappointing. Takin the pizza has gone from a Farsley favourite to the sort of place you avoid when drunk. With Grumpy’s now open further down town street I see this place closing within a year and frankly it deserves to.

Me and my boyfriend ordered couple of pizzas alongside with few side dishes. Person who answered the phone was very polite and told us it’d be delivered in 35minutes but came in 30 minutes, very punctual. Pizzas and everything else were piping hot and sooo tasty and very reasonable so great work, thanks

Whilst listening to my stomach making all the noises to say feed me, I was in search of a place to feed the culprit :) on my way home I saw this place tucked away behind a bus stop and decided to give it a go. As I walked in staffed welcome me with a smile and I choose my ammunition to silence the culprit. Went for a kebab in a wrap and a meat feast pizza to make sure that I’ve not heard from him again . I have had one or 2 or 2000 take away sin my life time and this one topped them all. Sorry guys but I might be your best nightmare every night :) great staff delicious food, well done , double thumbs up .

Used to be really good pizza but recent orders have been terrible. Literally 1cm of cheese on top. Low quality toppings. The ham is about as close to spam as it can get while still been called ham. Pizzas look like they’ve been rebaked. Chips that have been through the fryer twice so they’re hollow and dry. How little can the chefs care when they know how long the pizza takes and they can cook chips to be ready at the same time but instead they just re fry old ones. Unless the chefs get their act together they aren’t going to have a pizza shop to open. Not sure what has happened. Last year they were good but they’ve decended so far that they’re on our permanent avoid list after failing their last chance.

The lad on the phone was helpful , we got our food on time but the chips were old and had being re heated they were Rock hard, burgers wasn't too bad too be fair,

Went in to order some cheesy chips, whilst we were waiting heard one of the employees say that the chips had been in too long and they gave us them anyway even though they were like cardboard

Naff. They are taking the something - Your hard earned cash for crappy pizza. Wierd double base which was tough and dry. No good.

Been eating from here for years but you should really invest in proper mozzarella, pizza cheese should be stringy not dripping off the sides... things are deffo going downhill here.

I have been going to Takin the pizza for years. The Doner Kebab this evening was disgusting. Dripping in grease. I had to put the meat in kitchen roll to drain the fat away. Unless they can go back to how they used to cook the food, I won't be ordering from them again.

Absolutely disgusting! Ordered x2 pizzas and 1 portion of cheesy chips. The pizzas looked like Yorkshire puddings with sloppy/undercooked filling. The grease of both pizzas was disgusting and was leaking through the cardboard box!! The chips were cold and the cheese even colder. I won’t be ordering from here again!

Was in Farsley working got a pizza from here. Very fast service delivered very quickly but pizza was inedible. The cheese on it was like cream cheese Horrible waste of money will not be going again

Have I encountered cheese like that. What on Earth WAS that on my pizza? It was almost like primula cheese spread! Ate 2 bites and the rest went straight in the bin. Mozzarella is what goes on pizzas! Not whatever the hell that was!
