Firezza Wimbledon in Merton

We have been using Firezza Wimbledon for a while now.....the pizzas are truly amazing and the customer service its always great .....Thank you so much to chef Atik for a fantastic service 5☆

Used to be a good place to order pizza back in the days, but under the new management it's a complete disgrace. Prices went up and service down, such a shame.

I have been ordering from them for about 7yrs… mishaps here and there but last night was the final nail in the coffin! Ordered pizza gluten free - not by choice but I get seriously ill if I have gluten - half hour after the delivery should have arrived I called them and the woman “Pet or Pat.., probably a fake name, said ‘oh we are out of gluten free pizzas but we will send two pizzas now’. I did not want pizzas I cannot eat!! She went on to say they called me, which was a complete lie!!!! - I had no missed call calls!! and she kept laughing condescendingly on the phone to her colleagues in the background!!! Absolutely rude!!! After a heated argument she said they will send the pizzas - suddenly they had gluten free again?!?! Needless to say I would not trust them to send gluten free, neither for them not to spit on it or anything horrible like that! After arguing with them… Nevertheless, I had NO pizza and paid over £30 which I will not get back for about 5 days!!!! So they will take your money, NOT deliver and keep your money for a week!!! It is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! On top of that they will make fun of you on the phone! Laughing at you! After 7 years, I will NEVER EVER order again from firezza! And wait for my refund in days to come?!?! Absolutely disgusting! Disgusting disgusting behaviour! Especially the woman on the phone!! You are an awful awful human being! Dominos from now on! They were quick and actually delivered pizza for the money they took (which also cost way less btw)!

Highly recommended- the best pizza in Wimbledon. It never disappoints and delivery always arrives hot, generously loaded and delicious. Firezza was recommended to us by local friends and I personally cannot relate to the poor reviews, as I have never had a less-than-excellent experience.

He pedido varias veces directamente desde el restaurante para la entrega. La comida llegó rápidamente, caliente y fresca. No ordenará a las empresas de reparto ya que la comida tarda más, llega fría y es más cara. Coberturas sabrosas con una buena corteza fina. La base sin gluten es crujiente y una de las más bonitas que he probado. Las pizzas son caras, pero me han decepcionado las otras opciones en comparación con Firezza.

We ordered a pizza online which was supposed to be delivered in 20 minutes and wasn’t - so we called them... an hour later someone eventually picked up the phone and we were told they only had one driver and they were busy (Friday night) so we would have to wait until the driver was free to deliver it. He had no idea when but guessed another 10-15 minutes. When it finally arrived it was cold. So we won’t be ordering from Firezza again.

Ordered pizza and lasagne after being recommend firezza by a friend. Food arrived on time, but cold- had to warm up with microwave. The lasagne was creamy; but 80% pasta and 20%meat. The pizza was salty and not worth the price compared to your average pizza shop.

Very late delivery! Crust burnt. Wings burnt black. Toppings don't go close to the edge of crust. Very expensive for what you get. I could have had oven pizza that was faster, cheaper, and better. Terrible customer service.

One star is too many! Used a special offer code at the weekend for a buy one get one free with online orders. Only one pizza delivered - which was stone cold- delivery driver was almost running away when we asked where the second one was. On phoning the shop I was met with rudeness and told there was nothing they could do. Pizzas used to be good from here, not any more, I will not be ordering from them again.

I ordered from them on deliveroo in the past 3 times.I like their pizza and toppings.Maybe I would say the price of pizzas is quite expensive,but Happy they are having a 50% off promotion at the moment,and I'm definitely making the most of it.

Recently ordered from Firezza as have walked by several times and thought of trying it. Read the poor reviews but saw it was under new management and thought it worth a go. Ordered over the phone and asked for pizza to be cooked a couple of extra minutes. They sounded very busy and a bit rushed off their feet, but the lady I spoke to, Michaela, was patient and the order was filled exactly as requested. Pizza was delivered early and was hot when it arrived. We ordered a vegetarian and a three meat pizza. Both were lovely, premium pepperoni and a fair amount on it and the vegetarian had a lovely mix of vegetables including artichoke hearts (copious amounts), grilled courgette, mushrooms etc. Nice amount of cheese, but would have preferred it to the edges (but then was Napoli style). All in all, really enjoyed and would order from them again. Would have been pricy but got an offer that we saw online so look out for these if you are thinking of ordering from them.

I use to love the pizza from here but it’s gone massively downhill. I think it’s mostly due to the staff- I ordered last week and it did say about an hour online which i accepted, i called about 10 mins after as i prefer the base cooked a bit longer (last time centre of dough was not fully cooked) mumbling man answered and said fine. over an hour later still no pizza, i called finally after 75 mins and the guy said they no longer had a driver so had to fine one- why would they offer delivery if they don’t have a driver?! He could have mentioned it to me when i called the first time or at least called to inform me. when pizza did arrive it was only warm and dried (imagine it was sitting under a heat lamp for a while!) i also paid for dips and they gave me the wrong one! i feel like it would be good if it was properly managed but after the last disaster i will not bother going back again! i hate to say this but probably best to avoid as the people there cannot run a business!

Once again after few hours waiting, I had to call them and they told they wouldn’t deliver the pizza.

After asking for one of the pizza's to be cooked for a few minutes longer, (it was undercooked, and had a puddle of water from the buffalo mozzarella), the pizza was returned to me replete with a pubic hair. Disgusting behaviour !

I tried to contact the restaurant as their site is out of order. After 1 hour of calls they finally answered. The guy on the phone first took my order than he said he couldn’t delivery. It seems like you either fix the delivery issue or just close the restaurant.

The only reason I placed an order today is because I was sent a code for a free pizza as I complained about the horrendous service I received a couple of weeks ago. As many of the other reviews say the orders do not turn up on time, and when you call the restaurant they seems to have an excuse but could never be bothered to update you that your delivery will be late. I placed my order at 12.50, said it will be delivered at 1.45. This time passes so I call, the manager (who is an incredibly rude man) said they are a driver down so everything is 15 mins late, then tells me my order hasn’t even been prepared yet and will be here in 30 mins. I wait 25 mins and call back to find out if it is even on the way, he tells me they will be sending it 10 mins so I tell them to cancel. No apology, nothing. I’d ordered from this place when it first opened and it was great, then new management has taken over and it’s awful. Just don’t bother ordering from the Firezza, you will be wasting your time and energy.

Had a worst experience ordering Pizza online at Wimbledon Branch .Paid by card(Money was taken right away) and was told order will arrive 13:00 hrs today (50 mins approx from making and paying for order ). Tried calling at 13:24, after so many attempts someone picks up and says order will be delivered in 20 mins and your money will be refunded as a gesture of goodwill. There was another hour of waiting(Calling numerous times again, no-one picked up) till the delivery guy showed up.Was told Manager will give us a call to redress it. No one called. Called the manager at 20:40 someone named Ali claiming to be manager (most rudest guy, said no one told him about this. Mentioned my order number and tried to get details he mentioned he can see delivery @ 2:30 pm being done). now I am trying to find what your terms and conditions for order delivery(Money was taken and no service conditions mentioned). You can't take customers for ride.

La segunda vez que esto sucedió en unas pocas semanas, pedimos pizzas para un grupo de nosotros. Tan pronto como ordené recibí una llamada que decía que una de las pizzas no estaba disponible, la cambié por otra que era 5 más barata y pedí un reembolso. El gerente dijo que reembolsaría el extra en efectivo a la entrega.

La peor experiencia que he pedido desde mi casa por tercera vez, estoy ordenando en este lugar y la orden siempre fue incorrecta y no solo esto, sino más de una hora y media de espera.

Received my order after more than 1hour 15min. After 3 calls, finally received burnt and cold food. Literally made me feel sick. The diBosco pizza was well below average compared to my previous experience.

Pidió dos pizzas y dos cervezas en línea, 2 horas más tarde y después de 3 llamadas telefónicas no trajeron las bebidas.

I had friends at home and we ordered pizzas. I oredered 5 of their 1/4 meter pizzas. The delivery man called me saying that he couldn't find the place (I am literally around the corner from the main road), I wanted to help him but he couldn't explain to me where he was. I ended up having to leave my guests at home and pick the pizzas up at the underground station, that were cold by that time. I emailed the pizzeria to inform them of the issue I had. They just offered me a code for a free pizza.

Personal horrible! ! ! Pedimos 3 pizzas y nos trajeron uno sin las coberturas (pizza de Parma)! Después de que llamé y les dije que mi pizza cantó sin 14 jamón de Parma madurado y ensalada de rúcula etc. me dijeron que vamos a enviar otra en 10 15 minutos. Envían al conductor nuevamente para entregar los ingredientes, pero no hay pizza nueva. Llamé nuevamente y les dije que una pizza fría no sirve. . . Nunca ordenando de este lugar otra vez!

La pizza è arrivata fredda. La qualità degli ingredienti scarsa e non di livello. Ho pagato un extra per avere più mozzarella ed il risultato si vede dalla foto. La parte scura era un bel buco quindi non la sanno nemmeno cuocere. Era scarso anche la salsa di pomodoro. Deludente e sicuramente non ordinerò più da questi signori.

And still waiting it was going to be about 90 minutes so I cancelled! It’s Sunday night I can’t believe this is the wait time especially after committing to 50 minutes.

Ordered a takeaway 1/2 meter (between 3). We chose two different toppings, one cajun chicken and the other mushroom - both tasty but not fantastically memorable. Not much more really to add! Would I use them again - probably yes.

We ordered it online-1/4 meter! Collection-nice and easy.Very yummy indeed. The taste of the pizza from a real oven is second to none!

Descubrimos pronto después de mover a Firezza Wimbledon el pasado verano, y una vez que pedimos a ellos la primera vez que continuó a la orden una y otra vez porque pensamos que la pizza estaba increíble. Yo vivo con un amigo que no es sólo italiano (y, por lo tanto, nace con altos estándares para pizza) pero también es una enfermedad celiaca, sin gluten y así encontrar buena pizza gratis es muy difícil. Realmente me gustó la versión de ella, y así firezza que se convirtió en nuestro lugar de go-pizza. Sin embargo, creo que deben haber ido a través de un cambio de gestión o perdido un jefe o algo, porque la pizza no es nada como lo que solía ser. No parecerse a pizza italiana clásica, ya y no vale la pena el precio elevado ahora es vendido. Mi principal problema es el cambio que hace un par de meses atrás - elegir una dieta sin gluten en vez de una base libre normal solía ser una sustitución gratuita, pero ahora no sólo hizo una opción razonable, pero ahora es más caro que el de pedir una pizza normal. Esto es totalmente injusto y es básicamente un castigo por una inevitable de alergia. Sin duda no será pedir desde aquí más tiempo, y se pasará en el mismo mensaje a las personas que he recomendado.

Don't really have a huge amount to say here but I went the other day and it was exactly as expected.

Hemos pedido varias veces antes. Me siento como si tuviera que disculparse por recomendar esta pizza a aquellos que compré. Simplemente no es lo mismo que cuando tuve anteriormente.

Esta fue nuestra primera visita a Firezza desde que cambiaron el menú. En primer lugar no estaba segura de qué elegir como nuestro favorito pizza ya no estaba en el menú. Así que probé una nueva pizza picante chili verde, con pepperoni. La base de pizza era agradable y la luz, y la pizza era muy sabroso. Me encanta la pizza, pero siempre me decepcionara con pizza salada aceitosa de la mayoría de cadenas hoteleras que todas saben igual. Este era totalmente diferente, fresca, coberturas buena, no grasiento. Está bien de precio. Y el personal muy amable. Incluso me dieron un vale para un lado la próxima vez. Volveremos de nuevo pronto! Pero, por favor, trae la pizza siciliana!

Primera vez y pedimos dos veces (éramos un grupo bastante grande, así que pedí un top). Nos quedamos verdaderamente impresionados. Pizza llegó prácticamente a tiempo, los conductores amables y pedido en línea funcionaba bien. Sin duda ordenar desde aquí cuando queremos pizza para llevar de nuevo!

We ordered 3 large pizza and they came on time but change was not available. We managed to get the exact change. Thought we should have been told for exact change when accepting order. Anyway they were delicious, good size.

I went to my buddy Geoff's the other night for pizza and a catch up. He'd bought a couple of ready made pizzas from Waitrose but it wasn't enough for everyone so we got Deliveroo to send us a couple of extra from Firezza. We ordered a veggie one with artichokes, mushrooms & roasted mixed veg and a 'white' tomato free one with assorted mushrooms, taleggio & truffle oil. Both were ok but really nothing special. Describing them as gourmet is a bit of a stretch. In fact, everyone agreed that the Waitrose ones won hands down as they had better quality toppings and just tasted better! I wouldn't use them again.

Despite being a bit undecided, we took the decision to go into this quiet and tucked away Pizza place against our natural instincts.Just as well, because what we discovered very much by accident is a Pizza thats been cooked in the perfect way.All fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, low salt, hardly any oil and no stodgy ingredients which tends to be the case with most mid-market Pizzerias.It was served with a smile and piping hot. The company Motto "crafted with passion" is well practiced.It is worth one's time to walk across to the quiet end of the High Street passing all sorts of fancy restaurants and enjoy a treat...!

As with a couple of other reviewers we too had tried Firezza and thought it was amazing. We first had their pizza back in Sep/ Oct. The pizza was delicious, some of the best we had ever had. For a period my husband was even addicted to their pizza! But after a couple of month's we noticed a definite decline in the quality. I am not sure if there was a change in management or what has happened but it is just not the same anymore. We have now stopped ordering altogether after 3 horrible orders. The pizza was always really crispy, with excellent quality ingredients but it seems that the ingredients have been downgraded presumably to make greater margins. The pizzas were expensive before but totally worth it, however, this is no longer the case. One of the speciality pizzas with imported mozzarella used to be my favourite and the last order we had, you could tell the mozzarella was not Buffala! Our last 3 orders had sub-par ingredients, blackened bases and yet were not crispy but rather sloppy. Overall very disappointed with how our go to pizza place suddenly became the avoid at all costs pizza place and everyone I speak to has said the same. Including my brother-in-law who lives nearby, as he has had the same experience as us. What a shame!

Having eaten here and at other branches I was looking forward to my takeaway. Unfortunately it has all gone wrong. Cold, tasteless and sloppy. Such a shame.

I've been ordering from firezza since it opened in Wimbledon as the pizzas are really nice. A couple of months ago I found an elastic band in my pizza. The person I spoke to on the phone was extremely apologetic and dealt with the issue in a thoroughly professional way. I believed that they had dealt with this issue so continued to order from them. Today I received my order. Whilst eating my pizza I bit into something hard which hurts my teeth. I spat it out to find it is a stone!! I phoned up immediately and the person I spoke to on the phone, who claimed to be the manager, could not sound more uninterested if he'd tried. He apologised and offered to send my a new pizza. Unsurprisingly that was the last thing I wanted. He then offered me a free meal next time. Again, why would I want food from a place where I had twice found things in the food? Eventually, after me asking for a refund it was agreed. I said to 'the manager' that he didn't sound very interested in my complaint. He told me that they were very busy so needed to get me off the phone!! I explained that it was probably a good idea to at least inform his kitchen staff of the situation. He said he would ask them to clean the oven as that is probably where the stone came from!! In brief... Nice pizzas but you're risking choking on an elastic band or breaking your tooth on a stone if you eat them!

My partner and i ordered Firezza as the first night in our new apartment which is moments from there. We ordered pizza and garlic bread and it was deliciously tasty! I've only had Dominoes pizza take out before which always makes me feel disgusting afterwards but Firezza is clearly made with fresh ingredients so you lose the guilt....if anything we wanted more! Definitely my new favourite pizza place. So happy it is on my doorstep!

Had a good gluten-free pizza from Firezza; although had expected something a bit more special from a specialty pizza spot. Will go back again soon to test out the pizzas for a secondary opinion. It's a convenient location on Broadway, especially if you're staying/living nearby. Pleasant service from the people working there also
