The service was fast despite it being quite crowded and the food tasted good.

I visited the place for a child's birthday party. I am a wheelchair user and the party was on the 1st floor. A member of the staff straight away informed me and offered to take my wheelchair at the back whilst I would be on the 1st floor. It was so very kind of him to support me with this!

We came for lunch, 2 of us. There was no one else in the entire restaurant. We sat outside and wanted to use the O2 priority deal (pizza for £7) and my mate wanted to use the club discount (pizza for £8-£10). We were were rudely told that we cant use the discounts on one order, so we said why can't you put us on seperate orders since there's no customers and we could just be 2 seperate customers (it's irrelevant to them that we know each other). He called the manager and she also rudely said no we can't offer you these offers. So I said how about I sit on the next table (every table was empty) and order and then she reluctantly agreed but said you have to go and sit away from him (why does it matter!). It's almost laughable. Anyways we got up and left after this as its the worst attitude and service I have ever received. In times when companies are going out of business these attitudes won't get this company too far. Staff needs training on mannerism on how to deal with customers and not antagonise them. Also on using judgement and common sense in certain situations. It would have been understandable should the place had been busy or evening/weekend. But it was weekday afternoon and there was no one there. And if these offers are making the company lose money, don't offer them.  It's such a scam way to lure customers in.

Yet again, the staff here have been amazing. I had an issue with my delivery order and they went above and beyond to fix the situation and of course the Pollo Ad Astra was sublime!

Only posting as the customer service did not accept our feedback which may be indirect way of saying you are lying. The pizzas arrived stone cold after 55 minutes of waiting. They had to be microwaved to be edible. I would normally send them back if we were not hungry after a day out with kids. For £60 it would be cheaper and better to get frozen Tesco ones and put them in the oven. Must be a busy restaurant if they don't care about losing customers.

Was amazed when the waited told us that the special offer in the actual menu “does not suite him” not sure what that means really. We were not given forks even from the start, had to request the forks. Then we were directed to pick the cheapest items on the menu even though thats not what 3 course set menu offer terms and conditions say. Need to train staff better on how to talk to customers. Pizza was average. Not coming back anytime soon.

We haven’t been to this branch in a long time and tonight we remembered why… Overcooked pizza, with dried out toppings, even the cheese was hard. I noticed other people’s pizzas on the way in and they looked dry and overdone too. Staff, three waiters on duty who couldn’t cope at all. We were left standing at the door, then standing at the table until they cleaned it and the service in general was shoddy. Atmosphere was dull with other families looking bored. Signalling by waving to any of the 3 people serving was no use, they just carried on. Nobody checked in on our meal or offered to get more drinks. We’ll rather go further afield to Clapham Junction as the team and manager there is superb!

“Assistant Manager Will” super unhelpful. I’ve been a resident in Wimbledon for 27 years and never had a problem with this branch however will didn’t want to accommodate to customer needs and actually be helpful in terms of pizza requests.

Half of my order was not delivered. It is my daughters 18th party. You have spoilt it. I sent you a dm but had no reply

The pizza is super delicious, the crust is super fragrant and elastic And the desserts are delicious too~ Highly recommended!

The margerita pizza had about 10% cheese on it. It was base and tomato sauce with a few blobs of cheese. I want my money back to be honest.

When the food was delivered, it was cold already. Not even the slightest heat left in the middle. Considering the expense, and the reputation of PizzaExpress, this is very disappointing!

Food wasn’t great. Really gone downhill. Was cold and not cooked through completely. Wouldn’t order again.

I booked my table for 5 people 5 days prior to this date. I had 2 emails confirming my booking. Then 7.30pm the night before my visit I received an email saying my booking had been cancelled - that was it!!!! Finally after hours of the phone lines being engaged I got through to them & asked what was going on. I was told my booking had indeed been cancelled. I explained I had booked that restaurant because it is opposite the theatre where I was taking my 79 year old, quite immobile auntie to the pantomime that evening. The duty manager did not care, nor did the manager. They are an absolute disgrace.

We had amazing pizza with kids they really loved it and enjoyed the colouring.

Pizza was missing an extra topping and dough balls missing garlic butter

Order confirmed at 19:28 and at 22:16 haven’t been delivered. Called several times for a heads up but unfortunately this didn’t speed up the process despite assistent manager Will chasing delivery. Eventually picked up the pizzas myself. 3 hours after ordering.

I ordered online for delivery and rang up to have a topping removed! Will was so so helpful and solved my problem with such ease and even asked if I wanted any alternatives to make up for it!

Went to pizza express the other day. Food was great. Had a lovely waitress, long black hair looked in her early 20s. She recommended one of the new pizzas was amazing. Overall had an amazing experience would definitely recommend stopping at Pizza express if you are in Wimbledon

Great food, arrived hot & quick!

Staff were really friendly as always and everything was really clean. The pricing is pretty steep (not the responsibility of the store) so I defo recommend getting the app and collecting rewards to make your trip more affordable.

I put notes on my order and they didn’t read them. So the pizza has turned up with none of my requirements. The base is also badly undercooked. I called the restaurant and the woman I spoke to was very unhelpful and did not resolve the issue or send a replacement. She try to argue that her kitchen doesn’t sent out undercooked food. I will now have to order my dinner from somewhere else. Terrible customer service.

Went there for food last week and the Pizza was ok. Prices quite expensive, £16 for a Pizza + deserts £7.50 - might instead go up the road to The Ivy for a 2 course menu for £18.

Pizza express is one of those old reliable places. Very child friendly and you know they will eat the food. For adults its possibly a bit boring but it's very predictable (which is both good and bad). The staff at this branch were friendly and professional. It's more a place when you can't be bothered to cook and the children are being fussy than for a special occasion.

Almost empty on a Tuesday evening but outstanding service and great food.

Went on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Service was excellent; friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed our meals and will return to this well managed restaurant. Well done Team!

Wonderful experience for my son’s 4tj bday pizza party! Staff were very accommodating, flexible with timings and were great with the kids. Couldn’t hope for a better bday party! Excellent space - 2 floors, with the first floor set up for the kids (can take 20) and the second floor used for adults to mingle.

We had my son’s 7th birthday party as pizza making class at Pizza Express Wimbledon Village. The staff were very friendly, communication was smooth and shift manager Mr Umit knows how to deal with crowd of excited kids. Great service overall, thank you very much.

Haven’t been here for ages . Menu had loads of choices. Went for a zucchini summer type pizza . Friendly waiting staff ! Everyone enjoyed it !

The food is average, a bit greasy and oily but apart from that it's alright. I was having a generally pleasant experience until I ordered ice cream. It was beautifully garnished with a hair - completely free of charge!! How generous!!! If you would like a hygienic meal like this too, I recommend you book a table straight away.

The waiter brought my pizza 2 minutes after he brought my starter so I sent it back!!!When pizza arrived it was sloppy in the middle & then I had a piece of gristle (diavola pizza) disgusting made me feel sick!!! Restaurant not even that busy to say it is Wimbledon fortnight now I know why. Avoid like the plague!!!

A very nice meal out especially with the 50% off discount at the moment.We had tried to book for 12:30 but it said it was fully booked so we went at 11:30 instead .we were slightly annoyed as we were there until one and it was not full at all.The staff were friendly enough and there was fairly good service.Overall a good place for a quick and cheap meal.

Consistently the best Pizza Express in the chain. I may be biased, having lived 10 houses away for 15 years. The crew has obviously changed over the years, but somehow they have always been very bussinessminded and funny to dine with.

Absolutely useless . so many members of staff hanging about doing nothing, chatting,looking at their phone, staring into space. The manager was also doing the same .. our server kept staring us out for a fee seconds after we spoke , which is very unnerving indeed. As we were ordering he was reading something off a receipt.. perhaps a reminder how to tie his own shoelaces? or R for right hand and L for left. The pizza was tiny but edible . plonked down with no words. unbelievable. The owner of Pizza Express should come to this branch as a secret customer and sack everyone 0 out of 10

I walked into pizza express at 12.30 Sunday lunch with two hungry young children, ready to book immediately for two pizzas with the meerkat meals deal. I show the guy the app, and he goes into an immediate tailspin: Oh no, you can’t use this on Sunday. - Er, yes you can, it says so quite clearly here. Stares at it for such an age I wonder if he can read. Oh no, you have to book for that one. - Er, well I did book but you are anyway wrong as it says clearly walk ins are fine. Oh no, you’ve booked the wrong restaurant- you booked the broadway and this is the village. Er, well, no I didn’t, as per my booking reference, but anyway it says clearly I could just walk in. Oh no, you have to have a code, where’s your code? No I don’t, I just show the app as per it clearly says. This goes on for 20 minutes with three different people, one of them posing as the manager when she wasn’t actually the manager, she later confesses. Totally clueless, the bunch of them, and totally wrong on every angle from start to finish. The definition of bad service and a bad approach. Meanwhile the kids are getting frantically hungry and I can’t even book while they are messing me around ad infinitum and trying to sell me various other deals I don’t want. Really dire and unexpected bad experience.

A disaster from the word go! As if waiting for over 15 minutes in a seemingly empty restaurant wasn’t enough, me and my partner firstly had to witness a rearrangement of the diner tables while ourselves and and other hungry guests waited to be seated, only to be aggressively told to wait. This being bad enough, drama intensified further when the lady who seemed to be the manager dragged a table into a poor child, knocking him heavily on his head, this act was just extremely unprofessional and quite frankly a disgrace. I hope the poor child is okay with no injuries! This was only the beginning… Me and my partner were then shown to a table which still had remains of food from previous guests despite a rather pathetic attempt to clean the table. After complaining and having this rectified we were ready and hopeful for a successful meal but no! The staff then had the audacity to request that we move tables so that they could continue their attempt to rearrange the restaurant layout, an act that just didn’t make sense during these peak hours. The atmosphere in this place was chaotic, with staff communicating between one and another by shouting across the restaurant, deliveroo drivers just stood chatting rather loudly mid restaurant with the waiting staff. again all very unprofessional! And now we come to the food, we hoped it wouldn’t reflect on how this restaurant was run but how we were wrong..... The Pizzas were burnt to crisp in the middle and just were not enjoyable at the slightest! We notified our waiter who gave a puzzled arrogant response. He offered no alternative and said we would receive free drinks at the end. We did not. After all this for some reason we decided it would be best to have a dessert, in hindsight it was probably best we made an early escape. It took over 40 minutes for our dessert to arrive, which by then we had lost our appetite to eat. All in all our visit today to this restaurant really was a disaster! Poor management, poor customer service and an appalling mess within the restaurant. As regular visitors to this chain of restaurant we will consider alternatives when going for a bite to eat in the future. I would advise not visiting this restaurant in Wimbledon!

Mi amigo y yo fuimos allí con un cupón (12, 95 un entrante y una pizza) El personal fue muy agradable, pero la comida era incluso mejor. El pan de ajo con mozzarella ¡Dios mío, ojalá pudiera tener todos los días! ¡Y la pizza es absolutamente igual, el tamaño es perfecto y no son tacaños con los ingredientes! 100% recomendado! !

El personal aquí es excelente, amable, nada demasiado para ellos. Sin embargo, y podría ser debido al tenis, ya que estaba lleno, pero las pizzas que pedimos eran muy escasas en cualquier cosa que no sea base. Coberturas muy finas casi sin queso, por lo que podría ser mucho mejor. La cocina estaba trabajando en sus calcetines, pero a veces solo necesitas ir más despacio y hacer un balance de lo que estás entregando.He estado aquí antes y ha sido mejor.

Trabajando y quedándome en Wimbledon, Pizza Express fue una pequeña joya en un día que necesitaba una forma fácil y rápida de llevar. We arrived into a chaotic scene with uncleared tables and were sent upstairs - and then completely ignored. Two 10 year olds were laying tables (food hygiene/child labour laws?!!!) which should have told us all we needed to know about the lack of management. After 15 mins of being utterly ignored - despite going downstairs to ask someone to pop up and do some serving - we left, and no-one even noticed we had gone!

Solo fue un poco mejor.A los niños les encanta la limonada siciliana (2. 95) y el brownie estaba bien pero de nuevo congelado.Es una pena que Strada In Wimbledon Village haya cerrado. Este es peor pizza express que he visitado. Tuvimos que enviar nuestras pizzas de vuelta en estaban completamente hecha y quemados. Cuando nos dijeron que el camarero fue muy grosero y me dijo que íbamos a ser como eso. Compraron dos y estaba equivocado! Muy mal servicio lento grosero durante toda la comida, sin embargo, lo peor fue cuando pagamos. Ya que dos familias dividimos la cuenta mi amigo paga en efectivo y pagar con tarjeta. A través de la tarjeta ponen y me preparaba para salir, el camarero se acercó y dijo que el pago no había pasado y que necesitaba para pagar £90 de nuevo. Me dijo que no, ya que tenía un código de autorización a lo que me dijo que era incorrecto. Me dijo que a menos que me dieron un trozo de cancelación no haría el pago de nuevo. El camarero nos dijo que no se preocupe si va dos veces podría volver mañana mismo por un crédito! Me negué a hacer esto, así que él dijo en frente de numerosas mesas no podía dejar el restaurante. El director vino y nos dijo que había un problema con las máquinas de mano como la mesa estaba demasiado lejos de la factura? Aunque había visto antes hacer una transacción con alguien afuera? Al final me mantuve mi recibo y yo hicimos una copia y el director dijo que, si no se pondrían en contacto conmigo? Al día siguiente mi pago! ,, creo que esto puede ser una estafa para hacen pagar dos veces, así que mucho cuidado con los pagos con tarjeta si vas allí. servicio al cliente llamó quien dijo que nunca volvería a comportarse así. Así que ten cuidado si vas allí.

Pedimos 3 pizzas vegetarianas y patatas polenta via deliveroo y la calidad era terrible (8 chips polenta para 4. 75 libras = 60 p por chip; no hay queso mozzarella en el queso de cabra; pizza mozzeralla en sólo una porción de la pizza de queso de cabra y todos estaban semi fría y pasada). Hemos comido en el restaurante y tuvimos expectativas basado en el estándar restaurante pero parece no transposición en la comida para llevar. Muy mala relación calidad-precio y calidad. . . Los clientes son considerados para llevar. Tarifa segunda? Tuvimos que salir las pizzas en el horno y añadido nuevas coberturas. . Como nos los han comprado a M&S;! Nunca recomendaría llevar pizza de Pizza Express después de esto. Stephen, Wimbledon.

Went for a quick dinner of pizza and red wine. The food is consistently good and the staff were attentive, friendly and fast. I get the impression that so many chain restaurants in London are struggling. This is currently much better than Strada next door.

Bueno, tan pronto como entramos, los dos empleados que estaban charlando por la caja registradora levantaron la vista, pero no se acercaron a nosotros para preguntar nada que acabara de transmitir en su conversación, hasta que fuimos a sentarnos a una mesa y nos dijeron 'no, eso es reservado 'en señaló en la mesa al lado de él (luego, se sentó una familia en la mesa que no había reservado, oímos que dicen eso). Fue 3. 15 pm y todas las mesas fueron reservadas desde 4. 30 pm, así que no pudimos sentarnos con ellos, no es una opción para decir que puedes hasta las 4. 15 pm, ya habíamos comido y pagado la factura.

This place really lets Pizza Express down as a brand. It is cramped, the toilets are off the kitchen and have broken hand dryers. The waiter did not want to take our order and the pizzas were almost burned. Never again - next time it will be Carluccio's or Cote! If I hadn't been visiting with a guest I would have walked out but it wasn't really an option. Pizza Express food is overpriced but in other branches you normally have better food, ambiance and service. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Visited here after the Wimbledon winter wonderland event. We walked up after the fireworks having booked a table in advance. We expected it to be busy but was pleasantly surprised as it was quiet. Our food was served very quickly and tasted amazing. The customer service was first class. A very pleasant experience and would visit again.

Visited Pizza Express as going to Wimbledon Theatre and this is very close had Booked, just as well because really busy. Ordered Starters which were only ok. Pizza Soho 65 well Pizza with 3 Black Olives! not sure where the Mozzarella was or even the shaved Gran Milano as for the pile of Rocket dumped in the middle I am sure it was a whole bag too - no dressing shared some from my Daughters Pizza just to make it edible. Soggy bottoms it would not have passed a Bake off inspection. Redeemed themselves with the pudding Sticky Toffee with Caramel Sauce and ice cream. Don't think I will be making a return visit.

Comimos aquí porque era el único lugar sigue abierto hasta bastante tarde. Tuvimos ensalada y pizzas y ambos no estaban mal. El servicio era bastante bueno y el precio era justo. No sería mi primera opción, pero para una comida tarde o rápido, hizo el trabajo.

Un lugar fiable para conseguir un puesto de comida de Wimbledon tenis después de los habituales 10:00 pm hora de cierre en los jardines. Pizza Express ha cambiado poco a lo largo de los años y se convierta en algo pobre en relación calidad-precio, con limitadas opciones aparte de pizza. Teniendo en cuenta que puedes conseguir algunas de las pizzas de un supermercado y cocinar en casa por una fracción del costo, te gustaría buscar algunas de las opciones de menú más nuevos para hacer que la visita valga la pena. Afortunadamente, tenían ya el menú actualizado una visita a otro PE y la pizza era bastante bueno. Aún así sólo regular, un gran restaurante de volumen así que el servicio es un poco simple, aunque satisfactoria. Todavía sirve de crédito para alrededor de las 10:15 pm en días laborables.

Una típica Pizza Express. Excelente servicio y como siempre, un extenso menú a precios razonables. Ideal para familias.
