Firestone Teppanyaki Restaurant in Belfast

The food and experience was very disappointing. Booked the bar but was treated to a relenting chopping noise coming from the kitchen. We asked to move to one of the tables but then moved again because it had been resolved. Fair enough. Food we got was average to poor. My chicken was rubbery and when I told them they started to cut the chicken in front of us!! I left most of the meat but was still charged for it Not a nice experience 😕

What's not to love about Firestone? The staff were faultless and extremely attentive, the menu vast and had something for everyone. Four of us ordered 6 drinks, two starters, three mains and a plethora of side orders and cost just over £120! Each dish was incredibly tasty and substantial. Thanks to Antonio for taking such good care of us and we will definitely return.

We had HOT POT and it was fantastic and delicious our waiter and host Mia was knowledgeable and gave very good advice about food and what we should order and also staff in general looked very welcoming and friendly!!! This was our first experience of Teppanyaki cooking. Our chef John was incredible. He was so friendly, fun, and entertaining. The food was outstanding, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The drinks were also amazing. We will definitely be back soon!

I would say the experience there was amazing. we went there for lunch and was told upstairs is newly opened. they really give a Japanese cuisine vibes and we ordered the Salmon Platter. it was beautiful and authenticlly placed. the waiters are quite paitent and helpful. I definitely would be back.

Ate here on Saturday night at the tepenyaki table alongside 2 other families and it was a shambles. Starters took far too long, family beside me had to send their starters back as they were freezing. We had to wait extra time for our mains to start cooking as apparently the main teppenyaki chef was off on holiday.. the poor guy who did ours was the only good part of the meal, but even the ‘show’ aspect was seriously lacking. 30 second show with the utensils and then straight to the cooking with no other interaction. After mains started being served we had to ask the waiters where our side dishes were. Only then did they obviously remember about them. Waited a good 10 mins for a load of fried rice to be brought out, but some at the table ordered steamed & chips. Had to wait another 10 minutes for the steamed. Chips came out after everyone’s meals were done (chips were for children). Extremely poor service. Was given another excuse when trying to pay that the reason for the service issues was because the main chef was off sick. Don’t take bookings if you know you cannot fulfil the service! Very disappointed.

Excellent hospitality and food. Quiet and relax environment to enjoy my lunch with friends. Will come again.

Went here for anniversary and will be back. We had the tepinyaki experience and it was a good laugh and very entertaining but most importantly it tasted great. The chef jhon was great and the waiter Angelo was a lovely host. Very highly recommended

Went here for our mom’s birthday and we had an amazing time. The place was gorgeous, food was lovely and the whole team were all nice and very attentive. They even sang a birthday song for our mom and gave her a dessert. Good place for any events 👍👍👍

We wanted to try something different for a birthday meal. Firestone didn't disappoint. Although quiet for a Thursday evening, we enjoyed the fact that the food was freshly cooked in front of us. I had the scallops, a dozen good-sized, two of us had duck and one fillet steak. All cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back.

Great food, great menu. Service impeccable. I ordered the vegetable teppanyaki, the rolls and delicious. Two dishes which were plentiful and yum!

Ate here on a Sunday evening, arriving after 9pm & was told they were fully open. However the reality was slightly different! No tenpanyaki was available as the kitchen was 'winding down' so several menu options were ruled out. Told the staff about certain ingredient intolerances and despite several discussions some of the dishes still appeared with these very ingredients present! It was as though they wanted to take the order, get us to eat & leave ASAP. It's expensive for what it is & I wouldn't rush back

Food was 10/10, staff were so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere/decor was just so pretty and welcoming. There’s the option for the live cooking but did not have that booked so can’t comment on that. The prices were reasonable and they cater to vegan and vegetarian. 💯 recommend, would go again.

The drinks menu is extensive. Within our party, we ordered cocktails and mocktails, all of which were beautifully presented and delicious. We sat at the bar and all opted for starters plus items from the live cooking menu. Each of us chose something different - prawns, scallops, duck and steak. The live cooking element was entertaining and interactive. A really great experience that had us all laughing trying to catch egg in our mouths from the chef launching it at us. The food was stunning, beautifully fresh, generous portions. Will definitely visit again. We had gyozas, sushi and edamame beans to start. Really impressive little gem in the heart of Belfast.

Very good food, big portions, quick and friendly service. We were a 9 people table and everything went smoothly. Overall a great dinner. A few vegan options, and the restaurant is fully accessible with accessible toilets.
