Firehouse in East Lindsey

My meal was lovely, both my son and granddaughter had the children's chicken wings and said they were horrible, my sons fav meal to have when out so it's not like him to not eat it.. Apart from that it was really nice, friendly staff, we were served by Mark who was very chatty and welcoming .

On butlins. Very tasty and with an adult meal kids eat for a pound. Lovely

One of the best places to eat whilst visiting butlins, the food quality is good, the restaurant is clean and the service is excellent. Had lunch and dinner here during my visit and had no complaints.

Nice place very similar to nandos , good value nice food

It's just a pauling service.. and when I say it's a pauling.. its non existent. There are people walking around d but they are purely to take the food to you and lead you to a table. Everything else is done on an app. Then when you ask for help they look at you like it's weird that you're attempting to interrupt them... I won't be going there again that's for sure. Food was OK when it finally arrived

Had to wait in a queue for 30 minutes to get to the bar to order food and drink. I was told the drinks would be brought over. After waiting 20 mins and no drinks, I went back up to collect them myself. Staff at the bar made no apology for this. 50 minutes after putting the order in, we chased the food order and were told that they hadn't started cooking it yet. Food arrived more than an hour after order. The dish was OK, not great. The brownie I had for dessert was OK but was more like a chocolate sponge then a brownie. Atmosphere not good as other diners around us were annoyed with the wait for food and the waiting staff looked under pressure and annoyed. The cleaning staff had no care in the world though and moved slower than my pet turtle. Overall, the experience was meh.

Good choice location for those lookin for some hot chicken 🐔 (Note I'm not a spice person) I just enjoy the odd kick a flavour 😅 Hospitality 5/5 Service was of good quality with amazing little to waiting time for ordered food. 🙂 Food 4.5/5 The chicken was done to best standards and the cost including 2 sides overall was very reasonable for money. Desert was great as-well; also good for money. Layout 5/5 The theme a choice of decor was modern and a unique as most usually are. 😅 But srsly: the wooden charm worked well actually for the food type found here; (it's also nice to see artwork showing their commitment to locally sourced food)

Hi. This is a sad review. The food was terrible, over cooked, the chicken skin was very greasy, the pop corn chicken, was so over cooked and was like little rocks, un-edible , Chips where soggy. The ketchup bottle looked like it exploded. Ketchup all over it. I should of complained but there was very little staff and many people queuing. The ice cream from the machine, fabulous. Not recommended.

It was ok, I found a hair in my food which then put me off. Staff didn't seem particularly helpful. When we asked for napkins they just said yes they're at the bar. Food wasn't brilliant either. It was quite pricey too. Unfortunately we won't be back again

Bad experience Only 3 of us and food took over an hour with no apologies the kitchen staff were working in slow motion and no warning Food was nice nothing amazing and would definitely not recommend it

Take the entrance staff off the door and make him help Benjamin. QUEUE IS A MILE LONG HES SERVING ALL THE CUSTOMERS TAKING ALL THE FOOD ORDERS TAKING ALL THE DRINKS ORDERS REFILLING THE COFFEE MACHINE WORKING ON HIS OWN WHILE THE OTHER STAFF ARE DOING NOTHING. Absolutely amazing! Forgot to take photos as food was too delicious! Came twice in our 4 nights it was that good. Servings are very generous & service is fantastic! Especially Arthur, he served us both times & was so friendly, the kids loved him. Good veggie choices, I went for a few grazers the 2nd time, the hummus was delicious 😋 I would highly recommend a visit 👍

Food was OK but not very warm staff are great

Had to wait in a queue for 40 minutes (although there were mutiple tables free), then another 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Had to wait another 20 minutes for food.

We came here for dinner and the food was absolutely fantastic.Staff were very friendly and helpful. We received our food in about 10 minutes, so we were not waiting too long. 100% recommend for a family dinner, we enjoyed each bite of our dinner!

Really nice to see a halal restaurant in Butlins. Good kids menu options with desserts. Would recommend as service was really good.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating especially for little ones. Food is beautiful with lots of different flavours and would definitely recommend the sweetcorn fritters. Cocktails are to dye for again with friendly and funny staff. Will definitely be going back to the firehouse grill.

This was absolutely fantastic and excellent value for money. I was surprised how generous the side portions were and the staff were incredible and so friendly. I don't want people to have a misconception and expect only to pay £5 per meal because you are on a resort but for what you get it is definitely worth it and I would 100% go back. Thank you to all those who worked so hard yesterday evening. Keep up the Fantastic work. Updated : We came back in 2023 and we had a lady called Shannon serving us and she was absolutely fantastic. Keep up the amazing work.

Absolutely no faults whatsoever on our visit tonight. FOH staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive; Our order was taken promptly, with both the drinks and food arriving quickly, and extra attention paid to our little one. Kitchen looked to be running smoothly, and we were surprised how fast our food arrived (I've personally worked in this type of chain before and not daft enough to think everything is freshly prepared etc), but still the food was great. Recommend the new festive wrap, albeit quite small but very tasty.

Food was some of the worst food in a restaurant I've ever had it looks microwaved. At least the service was nice so I can't blame them but food quality was just shocking

30 minute wait for tables, 40 minutes for food because only 2 chefs. Place was half empty.

Came here for lunch and the food did not disappoint. Service by Kyle, Jean and Arthur in particular was very helpful. Everything about the meal was fantastic and because of this, it gets a 5 star review. Thanks to all the team.

Ate In booked table waited hour and a half for food to arrive just horrendous ! Having to wait all that time asked if it would be any quicker for a take out they said with it being so busy they can’t do Also they are closed on a Tuesday night !

We ordered on the app as there were no booth seats and table service seats left. There was 6 tables on the app area. We placed our order and waited over an hour to be served. People arrived after us and sat in the booth seat areas and got served and ate before us. We reported it to the manager she said it was done in order of when the orders came through on the app. We explained that wasnt the case as we had seen people arrive after us and had been served. When we did get the food it was lovely and good value for money. I wouldn't go back, as service was too long.

Horrific place and very expensive. Chicken was dry and took over an hour to come out. Asked for the manager never came. Sorry but you are literally the reason I wlmt return to butlins.

We visited here on our first night of the holiday. When we entered it took a while for anyone to come seat us. We ordered food and drinks which arrived quickly. The food was horrid, some of it was very dry and other parts were extremely greasy. Overall service was good and staff really friendly, food needs to improve massively.

This was the best place we ate and really well priced. The chicken strips are delicious.

Despite being very busy we were seated quickly, served politely and efficiently. our server Sinead was friendly and helpful and took out order quickly. Drinks arrived shortly after followed by food a few minutes later. Food was delicious, can't recommend the Carolina mustard glaze enough, was out of this world, half chicken I got was moist throughout and my sides were cooked to perfection. My wife had a "boneless combo" type thing and was impressed with her bourbon BBQ dip (but wished she'd got my mustard glaze lol) Pricing - for an on-site restaurant I assume I'll be paying through the nose but pricing was reasonable for the adequate portion sizes (in a good way, sizes were enough for a good meal) Asked Sinead for bill and was on it straight away and her friendly chirpy demeanor never faltered. In or near Butlins? Give this place a try

Yeah, okay for a bite to eat... Nothing wrong really just no wow factor and staff couldn't handle the small number of tables which seemed strange.

Not much choice, especially for vegetarian kids

We prefer this one to the other restaurants on Butlins. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are lovely and come out in good time and are well presented. Only have four stars and every time we do try to eat here there always seems to be an issue, no tables, wait time was 45 mins and they had run out of chicken. Other than that when we do get to finally have a table I would recommend.

Foods not bad at all, served by a very friendly and hardworking staff member who was on his own on the floor and did not stop his customer service skills are exceptionally favourable and sought after to any successful and well established business , just a absolute shame the back of house staff were calling him names and bullying him, it’s the staff that make a business thrive, toxic back of house/front of house divides are what makes a business ultimately fail. If someone makes a mistake then corrective coaching should be implemented, not bringing that potential asset to the business down to a point where there productivity and motivation no longer grows but instead regresses. I did make a complaint to the manager who was appreciative of the feedback , seemed very concerned and informed us he will be dealing with the staff involved, so thumbs up to the manager on shift too 👍

Food was good hats off to the chef apart from the garlic bread I dunno if it's just me but garlic bread should be toasted both sides???, BUT service is bad, I guess for all the people they serve they are very snippy l, if you like nandos it's very similar

Ate here on Sunday evening. Was greeted by Arthur, who remembered me by name from booking. The menu is good and with lots of different chicken dishes and a few vegetarian. I ordered the chicken wings which were over cooked. Arthur apologised and had them replaced quickly. The new batch were delicious! Our waiter, Liam was helpful and friendly and both he and Arthur looked after us and made us feel welcome. Can't wait to go back to Butlins and the Firehouse Grill

I had chicken thighs, disappointed with size of portion but tasty.

Wasn't full when we went in. The food that came out was very good quality. was a good atmosphere inside the waiters were very attentive and quick to serve, was very busy when we left best to get in early. Wasn't disappointed at all. Prices wasn't too bad

Turned up on spec....got a table very quick as it was busy. Food excellent. Can recommend the dips too.

I recently dined at a restaurant and had an enjoyable experience. The quality of the food was good and tasted fresh. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant felt a bit outdated and could use some improvements. The level of service was at good standards, with the staff being attentive and friendly. In conclusion, I believe the restaurant offers good value for the price and would recommend it to others looking for a good meal.

This establishment was outstanding the duty manager a young lady with black hair and especially Robbie who took our order these 2 were fantastic

Now I've been to a few of Butlins restaurants this was the last one to try it wasn't bad it's a Nandos wannabe and isn't that badly priced roughly 12.50 with two sides, the food was nice I had the wrap which was good some people I was with complained that the sauces weren't hot enough or didn't have any taste I think people were comparing it to Nandos so just bear that in mind the service was good it's not easy sorting out big tables and we were a big table well 3 tables of eight so they did well all in all was pretty good 👍

Staff very nice, but the chicken was awful dry as it's refired and not cooked from fresh as we asked why it was so dry. Been really nice but sadly with the new system won't entertaining it again.

Great food here and superb friendly upbeat service

Food and service is decent however they seem to only fill half the restaurant then turn people away. We were very lucky to get a table after being turned away by every other restaurant on site. Glad we got in here though as food was the best we had all week.

This place is difficult to get into as it gets very busy. Persevere though as the whole experience is worth it. When the food arrives, it doesn't look much but believe me, it is very tasty and filling. What really made it for us was the service. Probably one of the best waiters I have ever had. Shout out to Jason. Reccomend

Called to firehouse grill restaurant at 5pm to be informed no room available!! Restaurant was empty. When asked why was told that need yo be dine around to get in. Asked if could book in fiture and was told there were no tables available. WHY would a restaurant in Butlins turn people who are staying there away when rhere are no customers inside???? Shame on you firehouse grill staff, you dont deserve to have a bisiness and at rhis rate will not be functioning for much longer. Butlins management need to get their act together and sort these lazy restraunte and staff out!!!!!!!

The best food with the most amazing team for a family experience out of this world we are Firehouse

Slow service with mixed up orders and food paid for we didn't even order as was a large group. Food arrived over 10 minutes and didn't get cutlery until the last food came out. We had a poor experience previously but decided to give another go, wasn't much better. Food was standard and nothing amazing for price.

Not much of a choice on the menu. Just seems like chicken or chicken. Kids food was good. Just not very impressed with main menu. Staff friendly.

Service was grate,, giving a 3* as mine and my wife's the chicken burger was very tough and chewy and definitely wasn't enjoyable and the drinks we wanted were ether out of stock or dint sell however the Fry's were good...

We had a terrible experience trying to get a table at firehouse. We turned up as soon as it opened and were told to come back ar 630 where they would try and get us a table. Despite turning up at 630 they were unable to seat us still (bearing in mind we were told you cannot book yet they were able to derive availability regardless) we came again at 830 to be told that they cannot serve us (a party of 8 including a heavily pregnant woman) because they had a party of 40 just turn up. When we asked how this part of 40 were able to turn up and eat when we had made 3 attempts during the day, we were told it was because the party of 40 "walked in" but clearly this rule didnt apply to our 3 attempts. The whole system and attitiude of the resturant is dreadful. There is no way any rationale or basic level of business/consumer management has gone into the model and I can only compare its approach to creating a succseful businnes to that of a blind man serving ice cream to lactose intolerant eskimos in the north pole. Then we come to Arthur, the gatekeeper, this person was dreadful to interact with. His attitude was terrible to us and he was not only stand offish but openly commented that he was uncomfortable with the tallest member of our parties height. With no regard to how this made him feel. Its almost like Arthur got some kind of kick from the power he was granted, maybe the clipboard has corrupted him. Maybe hes dealing with some personal issues on his world of warcraft server..either way he should not be workkng front of house and was definatley the cherry on top of our sundae of dissapointment and regrrt for choosing this resturant. Ultimatley we would not reccomend and have been very let down by Firehouse.

I'm wheat and dairy intolerant and I had choices. Lovely place to eat. It was really quiet when we went the staff were all lovely and looked after us. I even left my hat behind and the waiter chased me down the road to return it. X

Warning - you need to book! We tried to walk in at 5pm for dinner and they had no tables until 6:45pm

Restaurant was practically empty and they don’t take reservations, a staff member bellowed at us that they had no tables and walked away. The staff members attitude alone put me off ever going her during our stay.

Food is lovely! Service is very poor! Booked table @8pm didn't get seated until 8.15pm because lack of attentive staff, two of them carried on their conversation instead of showing us to our table. We then didn't get our drinks until 8.30pm! Albeit the food was nice and was served very quickly! But no one asked us if the food was OK and then when asked for the bill had to wait a very long time... to notice they charged us incorrectly. The food is on par with Nandos. However; if they sorted their staff out and customer service then it would of been alright.

Great 5 star service by the girl waitress and 5 star starter. The let down was the 2 star main. Ordered chicken burger Chipotle style with spicy sweet potato chips. No heat whatsover, bland dry chicken burger, not much seasoning and plain sweet potato fries instead of spicy. Wifes wasnt much better. Real let down especially as its 100% definetly marketed as a copycat Nandos wannabe. Both decided against a pudding as the main was that much of a let down i couldnt of coped with a cheesecake letting me down

Incredible staff (Especailly Nicole). Lovely food and Nicole made my family feel so welcome. My children loved her too! Next time we come we will 100% be eating there again!

Fast service, friendly staff and helpful , this restaurant is a nandos knockoff ,but I actually found the chicken to be a lot nicer than nandos ,really tasty , the garlic bread was standard frozen stuff and the spicy chunky chips do have a kick to them

Only 20% of customers have received food in this gaff. Everyone is starving. They have just been to tell us they have ran out of chicken. On the cusp of leaving but have queued and waited for ages. Loads of staff and no food. Gordon Ramsay we need you here NOW

Food took apox 40mins to arrive from ordering, had to ask for the missing order twice and ask twice for a drink refill. Food was poor quality and the children's pasta was stale. Avoid this restaurant there are others in Butlins which are much better quality and value for money.

4 meals, reheated and dry but the chicken was still somehow cold. For a chicken specialist, this was worse than a bargain frozen ready meal. 3 adults and one child cost £45 for a drink and a main. Don't risk it!

Food, service and vibes all get 5☆s 😊 The food was absolutely delicious for both the vegan and mainstream food 😊 service was efficient & quick, we didn't have to wait long for food to be served and the vibes was welcoming, cozy & relaxed 👌🏼👍🏼
