The food is excellent. The service was a little off, but that happens. Was able to sit outside which was nice. The only negative is they allow dogs on the patio. It's a small and narrow patio. And while dogs present during outdoor dining isn't a problem in itself, there are people who decide to bring large dogs... Very large dogs and don't pay attention to them as they block you or come to your table and start begging for food. We moved to a table further away.

Sweet place to come to have dinner and relax. Because of my food sensitivities, i chose a couple of appetizers. I had the Brussel Sprouts.. nice touch with the goat cheese... the smoked seafood chowder had great flavor! And the braised beef tacos. A little salty for me, although they sent them out on lettuce to have lettuce wrap tav9s because I am wheat and corn sensitive. I love the atmosphere - sophisticated yet simple.

I will travel from Texas again to get in here! I had the shrimp and grits! Chefs kiss!!...Say hello to Holly for me!

Visited for the first time with my family and it was amazing! The service and the food were outstanding, a must try place in Manchester. I highly recommend the seafood chowder soup which was a group favorite. A super good spot and most memorable food of our trip!

Ran through while driving from the lakes down to Boston to catch a flight. We searched while driving and this place looked good, and it was. They were really busy and we did make a reservation but they managed it. We got fish and chips, and the burger special, both good. Looked like it was very popular with the locals. Recommend.

Great restaurant. Great food and variety of drinks. Only downside to this place is the parking. They have a whole parking lot that's reserved for the church and businesses above the restaurant. A little irritating. Did not see wheelchair accessibility through the front but there is an outdoor patio out front where a wheelchair could go no problem.

Great service and even better food at Firefly Bistro & Bar! We started with the Go-Go Bread and Gorgonzola dip – so tasty. But the real star was the Alamo Bowl. Absolutely fantastic! High-quality ingredients, great flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere. A definite highlight of our time in Manchester!

I hope I spell it correct but Casey was awesome making sure I got my stuff and fast. It was very very busy because of local event. So much so that the line pretty much went out the door with standing room full. Online order was ready in 20-30 min which is fast for the traffic. Service was fantastic. Food hasn’t been eaten yet but I always enjoy the food every time I go. Thanks Firefly

This was my first time trying Firefly as it came up recommended on Google, so I have it a try and this was an awesome lunch!! The braised short ribs melted in my mouth and the sauce was extremely flavorful. They even wrote me a hand written note for ordering! Great job guys I will be back again!

Wide variety of food, drinks and wine. Very fresh seafood, good proportions and excellent sauces. Connie, our server, was very attentive, provided suggestions when asked and checked on us frequently. She also provided background on the restaurant since we were visiting from out of town. Great value for money.

Been for brunch, which is great, and returned for dinner. Fish and chips was smaller than competitors, but still flakey with no knife required. Espresso martini, especially the dark version (no baileys) was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Fantastic food as always! Just went there for St. Patty’s Day fare with my elderly father, and the Mulligan Stew was amazing!

Huge brunch menu! I got the avocado toast and the portions are huge. They give you two pieces of toast with avocado, tomato, feta, and spinach along with a side of fruit. I got the iced coffee but they have a huge drink menu with mimosas and brunch style drinks. We also got the toasted blueberry corn muffin to share. We were told they have a baker in house that makes these was amazing! Our server was really knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and the food all arrived quickly. Plenty of seating and a great vibe located right off of elm st. One the of the only place nearby that has a parking lot on site. Would recommend!

Very seldom will I give a 5 star to a place in the first visit but today 8 of us went to Firefly for a family get together over brunch. I had made the reservation last week and they were very helpful. Today we arrived and we were seated promptly. Heidi was awesome, the service, food, drinks and everything was wonderful. A definite place to go and we will return

Firefly Bistro & Bar never disappoints! Their food and cocktails are absolutely fantastic. The calamari appetizer is always a hit, crispy and flavorful. The boneless beef short rib, slow-roasted with Guinness, was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. My friends’ dishes, like the pan-seared scallop and grilled salmon, were equally impressive—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The seasonal cocktails were delicious, especially the Boulevardier, and all the drinks looked top-tier. Firefly’s cozy, vintage ambiance, with its stunning artwork, adds to the experience. The staff is always warm and welcoming, ensuring excellent service with quick orders. If you're looking for a great atmosphere, outstanding food, and top-notch cocktails, I highly recommend Firefly Bistro & Bar!

While in town for work stopped in here to grab a bite before catching my flight. The Eggplant Napoleon was amazing and the Old Fashion was great. Staff were friendly and smiling. Swapped some good stories with the regulars at the bar too. If you haven’t been here, definitely go. It won’t disappoint.

A nice restuarant In Manchester NH , the server was energetic ,smiling and polite ,food was tasty especially salad and beef stroganoff,while steak frites is not much tender ,overall value over money is fine ,plenty of unpaid parking slots are available.

Wonderful staff, awesome menu and fantastic drinks.

Ordered a Kale Salad, a burger, and the mac and cheese. The salad was wilted and old, the burger was fine, and the mac and cheese was absolutely inedible. It was a watery cream sauce with a soap taste and noodles with crakers over it, tased like somebody obviously didn' t clean the plate well. I politely let the bartender know she could take it, she asked was it OK, I let her know it was very bad. Check comes, nothing taken off. That plate had $.75 cents worth of food on it and they decided to keep my $15 for it. The waitress even stooped to giving me the wrong itemized check to hide the fact that it was still on. DON"T GO HERE DIRTY DISHES BAD FOOD!!!!!!

Brunch at the Firefly is wonderful! I should have chosen more carefully for lunch but the menu has something for everyone. Great cocktails, great service, lovely atmosphere.

Over the last two years I’ve lived in the area, I’ve heard nothing but positive reviews about Firefly. And today is the day I finally had the chance to try it! My wife and I picked up carry-out and although we didn’t get to experience the full ambiance of the restaurant, it seemed like a cozy place with very friendly staff. They even left a sweet message in the bag with our food! For dinner we ordered the Mac n cheese (with grilled chicken added), the boneless short rib, and the steak tips. The Mac n cheese could’ve been more flavorful, but the other two entrees were incredible! I loved the risotto that came with the short ribs. Also the onions & mushrooms that came with the steak tips were cooked perfectly. Lastly, for dessert we tried the seasonal cheesecake and the pistachio tiramisu. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was 10/10 phenomenal with a delicious fruit sauce paired with it. The pistachio tiramisu was also fantastic. The vanilla sauce that came with it elevated the tiramisu substantially. I highly recommend trying out Firefly Bistro! It will not disappoint

Very friendly wait staff and bartenders. We come here occasionally as a treat because they serve high quality foods. For this visit, we had brussel sprouts as an appetizer. I had the beef stroganoff (yum!! 🤤) and he had the bistro burger. We had the chocolate chip cookie sundae for dessert (not pictured). I give the atmosphere a 4/5 only because the place can feel a bit cramped depending on where you are sitting (just my personal opinion). Overall, 5/5 stars, would recommend!

The brunch is the best I’ve had in a long time. The food is excellent and the staff is not only friendly, but genuinely kind. They all work very well together.

We normally come here once a year to celebrate a birthday but was super disappointed with the experience we had this year and I’m not usually one to write bad reviews. I was looking forward to celebrating my birthday here with my friends. My husband made our reservation for 15-16 people 3 weeks in advance. They sent us an email saying that for large parties, they normally require meal selections ahead of time, but excused it for us and told us to just be patient with the staff (which we always are, we truly didn’t mind, we know the food is worth waiting for!). We had 4 extras try to join our reservation, but the staff said they couldn’t make that work so we did not let them come, no problem! By the time we got seated, the table only had 14 chairs. We kindly & patiently asked them for two more (as our reservation was for 15-16 people) and the manager or whoever she was, came over to our table and approached us in a terrible, extremely negative manner, telling us that our party size was unacceptable (even though we booked in advance and it was accepted). We tried to show her our email exchange with a staff member confirming the party of 15-16 people, in addition to the excusal of preselected meals but she didn’t care (we were still going to pay together on one main bill which was discussed in the email). About 3 minutes or so after this insane reaction, and before even ordering anything, she told us we were going to “annihilate the kitchen” and continued to be so angry with us. This was the worst interaction I’ve ever had from a restaurant employee and she ruined our celebratory birthday dinner that we were all looking forward to. After me and my friends were left speechless with how we were just treated, we left. It was unfortunate because I know this place can be hard to get into, so some servers definitely missed out on a few tables but we did not feel like staying where it was made clear we weren’t welcomed, and instead, were more of an inconvenience to them. If they had told us prior to this, that they couldn’t accommodate our party of 15-16 people, we would’ve understood, we know it’s a lot. But this woman waited until we were sat, to come over and be incredibly rude to us, without even greeting us or working something out (which we would’ve been open to!). Attaching a screenshot below for proof of our conversation. Extremely disappointed with how this was handled and bummed we had this experience that stayed with us for the end of the night.

We went here for a birthday celebration and the service was great. The food was delicious. This is a picture of the birthday dessert. It was a freshly cooked chocolate chip cookie sundae. The meal was grilled salmon on butternut squash and with brussels. It was delicious.

I drove 2.5 hours for a meal here on a whim, and it was most definitely worth it! I enjoyed a delicious brunch at a cozy table in the back. The server (Eliza) was incredibly kind and friendly. I'll be back to enjoy more tasty meals in the future.

No shortage of outstanding restaurants in Manchester but this place is packed almost every night, reservations are highly recommended. Service was charming and warm, and the food that we got was bold and flavorful. They warned me that the black pepper gnocchi was extremely "peppery", and they were right. Fortunately I love black pepper! We got to sit outside on a slightly chilly Friday night, which was fortunate because indoors was jamming and really loud.

Company outing for a retirement luncheon. Food here is always amazing. Service is impeccable. They always do it right. It's a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it.

Awesome burgers. You would think every restaurant would know how to make an awesome cheeseburger but it just isn't true. Firefly delivers and they know what "medium" means.

Very accommodating to my wife's allergies

Came here after a long day as a vendor at the Expo center and desperate for some food. We were seated almost immediately and our server (Megan) was absolutely amazing! She was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Megan was also super friendly and just and an absolute gem to talk to. The food….absolute perfection! You can tell the chef really cares about every detail. I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to other people.

So many creative cocktails! All were yummy (Milky Way & Caramel Apple specifically) Everything tasted great and had good presentations! As a vegetarian they had multiple options which I loved, and my mom really enjoyed her steak dinner (filet). **Also the butternut squash bisque was to die for!** More on the pricey side, especially if you’re getting drinks and entrees but it was worth the price. Good vibes overall!

We are traveling through to visit with our family and they made reservations to have dinner at this location. All I can say is WOW!! Amazing from promptness for our reservation time, to the professional server to the chef’s specials. We didn’t order any appetizers and went straight for the main course. Out of six of us , five had ordered this special. It was their Parmesan encrusted Haddock stuffed with lobster, side of asparagus and seasoned white rice! OMG!! Delicious ! We followed that with desserts. I followed it with there fall cocktail special. A caramel apple martini. Win Win! 😋

Fabulous birthday dinner with my wife. Server ‘Katy’ helped make our experience special. Caesar salad, filet and short ribs braised in Guinness over risotto - all delicious!! Perfect other than a little chilly.

Service was good, the waitresses were attentive and kind. The cheese grits wern’t as cheesey as I hoped while the eggs benedict were good but not great. My collegue got a wrap where the portion of meat looked very generous. Also the man playing the guitar during brunch service was wonderful

Two delicious dinners in 4 days. Our first visit mid week was so outstanding that we headed back on Sunday. We've enjoyed their short ribs, salmon, tuna, salads, soup and 3 desserts. Each meal was perfectly prepared and served. If we lived in this area it would become our go to for drinks and dinner. They also have a unique selection of upscale cocktails and mocktails. Delightful and delicious.

Went here again just the other day to celebrate my Mother's Birthday. We had a nice time and the waiter was very helpful and patient when we needed help deciding. The menu has many great options that sound delicious and for the most part we enjoyed the food but it wasn't as great as we hoped for different reasons like being too salty or dry. It was a shame because they all sounded delicious on paper but we were a bit disappointed in the end.

Service was great. Food was flavorful but a bit pricey. The atmosphere was quiet. I would go again.

Went to brunch and ordered the steak and eggs and Irish Benedict. Service was great, although the meals came out lukewarm, tepid at best. My date and I were both hungover from the night before and didn’t feel like being a bother so we just ate our food and carried on, but would have enjoyed the experience much more if our meals had arrived hot.

8/2024, 3rd visit: Another 5 star meal at Firefly. Consistently excellent food, and service. Highly recommended! 10/2023, 2nd visit: Dinner this evening was wonderful. Salmon, Short Ribs, Alamo Bowl, Chocolate Peanut Butter pie all excellent. Kevin R's service was beyond exceptional, and his "sideshow" extremely funny. Will definitely be back again when in MHT. 2021: Excellent dinner; my wife and I loved the short ribs and scallops. Waitress Ashley was very sweet and provided excellent service in a short-staffed post Covid environment.

Food and atmosphere was good ,but that was about it . Service was awful and manager was rude . Took 15 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour to get our app,which was just melted cheese and bread . unfortunately not going back here .

Great food and service, though I don't think I'll be coming too often. The tables are too small and the atmosphere noisey. The menu feels a bit basic. Lovely place but not ideal for me personally.

Update: this is usually one of my fav restaurants in Manchester, had lunch on Saturday and was super disappointed. It was super quiet, only a few other tables in the whole place. I ordered a bacon dirty martini, just okay. Wouldn’t order it again. I also ordered the burger and the whole thing was super WET, including the bun and fries. Like the whole plate had been steamed or something. Greasy and wet, not good. Also some type of small hard pebble in the burger. 🥴 My date got the big breakfast—very underwhelming, looked like a typical diner breakfast. It was cold and the potatoes were also soggy. Super disappointed. Always good here! Most recently had the short rib risotto and it was great. Service was fine, nothing spectacular on a busy night.

In a pocket location, tucked away and secured. It uses margaritas as a buffer, nay, a shield in a cosmic sponge sort of way to avoid downtown Manchester saturation of the crazed and deranged that we are all too familiar with. Being thee pathfinder in downtown's culinary growth, they trail blazed a community that has grown to a beautiful neighborhood that the devil himself would salivate over. I sometimes wonder if we would have been left with over priced pizza and wings if not for them. Although an extremely precise allegory for our times in this country, all of us just being over priced pizza and wings, but I constantly lose sleep with that simple thought. "Am I an over priced chicken wing or am I an over priced slice of pizza". The city's drug problem started with MSG ridden fries but firefly brushed it's beautiful bangs to the side and said "yah know what Sununu we got this". With it's cape of stylistic decor and getting it's super powers from the culinary technique of its chef, that I still recognize and admire 14 years later from moving to this city, they have a team of super hero staff. Saving this city one whimsical mouth at a time, firefly wasnt the restaurant this city deserved but what this city needed. To all the staff: thank you for being the pioneers and role models you angelic vigilantes.

Great night and great food. Dave Clarke was serenading us on the patio while Connie, our server, kept us stocked up on food and drinks.The service and music made my wife's birthday night. Furthermore, the food was banging (i.e, scallops and Cobb salad w/ inhouse Caeser dressing, and peanut butter pie).

We often dine at Firefly and we enjoy the ambience of the place. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. On the weekends it is best to reserve a table to avoid waiting. I have tried several dishes and they were all excellent. One of my favorites is Grilled Chicken Farfalle. They offer a wide variety of wine and cocktails. All of the servers have great personalities but our favorite is Danielle. I have recommended this place to all of my friends. Great for date night.

We have been going to Firefly for many years now. The expertly crafted menu provides a unique experience, incorporating a mix of traditional dishes and modern takes on other popular faire.

We’ve been here a few times! But this was by far the best. Our server Alana was so sweet and on top of it. All of the drinks/dishes were perfect. We had a blast! Highly recommend Firefly and Alana!

We've been visiting different restaurants in Manchester since a family member moved there four years ago. This was our first visit to Firefly Bistro, and I am impressed ! This is a restaurant with a menu one would expect to find in Boston or New York City, and the food does not disappoint !

The entrance to the place is quirky (read the sign on the front door and look to the parking lot to your right to enter). We had a reservation and were seated right away. Moderate to loud bar area (a bit difficult to hear other guests at first). Go-go bread dipping sauce was very good! I had the boneless beef short rib entree, which was very good. Others at the table had Steak Frites and some Curry Shrimp dishes, which were enjoyable. Cheesecake and Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie slices were also very good. I recommend this place to friends for certain.

Beat restaurant experience I've had in Manchester in a very long time. Fish chowder was tasty although a little light for my taste. Cajun pasta was out of this world even reheated the next day and the short rib was perfect. Nice patio area.

I went for brunch on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend. It was busy, but we had made reservations, so we were seated immediately. It was loud, but they tucked us behind a little half wall, and it turned into a quiet little retreat. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Pricing was what I expected, with the exception of the drinks. I felt those were a little high, but I guess that has always been the way with alcohol.

Had business lunch here. Service was excellent and attentive. Food was delicious and hot. Came out pretty quickly and was good portion. Had the BLT and cup of soup. Both very good. Would go here again if I am in the area
