I was very disappointed as I've ordered from you guys a few times and the food was good but unfortunately this order MY RICE WAS NOT PROPERLY COOKED AND IT WAS POOR QUALITY RICE! Not like the usual sticky/ jasmine type I've had from you guys in the past. Had to take it home and cook my own rice to have with the sauce. Such a shame!

Always had really good experience with this restaurant. Really disappointed with the service tonight. Wrong address, wrong number, wrong postcode ... food left on on a doorstep at the other end of the street.

We ordered a takeaway from Firecracker Canteen Ilford at the end of Feb 2021. The vegetarian spring rolls had meat in them and the pad Thai had egg in it which was not on the ingredients list on the menu. I called the restaurant immediately and they offered us a refund for the items which still hasn’t materialised. We have called them a number of times and visited the store to obtain the refund but they keep on giving the same excuse ‘the manager Isn’t here today’. They got the order wrong and have lied to us about a refund - poor customer service

It's the first time we ordered from Firecracker and we weren't disappointed. The food was really tasty. My only small criticism is that some of the portions were a bit small but I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very impressed i don't actually order from fire cracker as I'm not local to the area, I live in a Town miles away. I ordered a large meal for delivery for my family who live local and wanted to surprise them as I haven't seen them since the first lock down. As soon as I completed the order they rang me offering free drinks and an extra meal! The delivery time was a little later than expected but I was kept upto date about the delay. Food was delivered hot and to my families surprise some deserts were added to. My family said the food was hot, fresh and delicious. My thanks to fire cracker the surprise meal went down well.

1st and last time I order from here. No flavour in the food at all, bland. But some might like it with no flavour. Not going to be to critical. Thanks.

All the food was too greasy, I ordered the chicken skewers and it’s was deep fried chicken in batter and I was expecting grilled chicken on skewers. The noodles and prawn dumplings were bland with no flavour.

So disappointed with this order. Our order took over an hour to get from the restaurant to us (from a restaurant that was 15 minute drive from us). The food arrived stone cold and soggy. And we have spent over an hour trying to get a refund which we still don't know we will get.

Today was my second time to order Singapoore noodles. Was not fresh noodles stuck together and was very salty meal. This was not freshly made. Please do not compromise quality of your meals!

Food wasn't as good as usual sadly. The duck from the starter was dry. The chicken in the katsu curry was thinner and noticeably drier. We ordered the chicken balls and they didn't taste that nice. Usually the food is fantastic.

The food was lovely and because we are on a dual carriageway, everyone struggles to find us. The delivery chap was really nice. The starters were excellent (Chicken Kimchi Gyoza & sesame prawn toast), but I would say the egg fried rice is too much like a fried jeera rice than the traditional style. Would definitely order from them again.

"Inside out wings" were poorly portioned and not reflective of the price

This is the first time I've ordered and been so disappointed, the quality seems to be going down I order from here regularly and I've noticed a difference it started with the food package which obviously I didn't care about but now that the food itself has started to decline I can't keep giving good ratings, I hope this is due to business being slow and lockdown so once we're out of Tier 5 I'll give it another go but if its still the same then I'm gona have to write it off as a permanent decline

I understand it’s New’s Year Eve, However the food was 1 hour late and cold. Green Curry looked like murky water and more like the water from River Thames. It was my first time ordering the from them and I will not ever waste over £50 on awful food like this. A big disappointment!!!

I have never had worst Thai food than this, ever. Ordered crispy squids, tom yum soup, dim sum, green curry with fried rice, beef in black bean sauce with noodles; Tom Yum soup was just the hot water with 2 prawns in it, no flavour at all, I have lost patience to write about the rest, in all honesty other than Dim Sum, the whole experience was utter rubbish.

The sweet corn and chicken soup was disgusting and flavourless, hardly any chicken or sweet corn in it and lots of egg, it really wasn’t nice. The noodles were bad quality and tasted old.

I ordered Singapore fried rice These folks packaged some type of noodles and delivered that to me. Can you imagine deliberately preparing the wrong food and packaging it together in the bag with “Singapore fried rice” written in the receipt? I could not eat it and my child ended up going hungry. Not only that the food was an oily mess and had spilled over the bag. Not sure if that was the delivery driver or packaging. I called the restaurant and they were going to be closing in 10 minutes. The woman who answered lied that she would send the correct order out but of course it never came.. CAN YOU IMAGINE TAKING PEOPLE’S MONEY IN A PANDEMIC AND DELIVERING RUBBISH FOOD TO THEN INSTEAD OF CALLING TO STATE THAT YOU DONT HAVE THAT ITEM YOU DECIDE TO PREPARE RUBBISH AND DELIVER IT TO THE CUSTOMER? This restaurant STARVE A CHILD and stole £8.00 from me because they deliberately did this. YOU WOULD THINK THAT BEING ONE OF THE HARDEST HIT INDUSTRIES DURING THIS PANDEMIC A RESTAURANT WOULD STRIVE TO PREPARE AND APPRECIATE THE CUSTOMERS THAT SUPPORT THEN BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT “FIRECRACKER”. THANKS FOR STARVING MY CHILD TO SLEEP.

Mongolian beef is too peppery but the veg chowmein was delicious

All the food packaging was squashed and poorly packed so the food was spilling out of the containers and therefore was cold.

The food used to be really tasty and worth the high price but quite bland and watery. Didnt seem fresh or flavourful which is a shame.

food was ok, phoned the restaurant to make a change and the lady was pleasant and helpful. The delivery was terrible the delivery guy was late, unapologetic and this made the food cold. However the delivery should not deter from the restaurant where the service was nice but food was ok might’ve been better if warmer

I m sorry for writing this me and my wife went for food and the counter staff girl is very very rude she don’t know what is in the menu which rice and noodles comes with it and for any thing she asking for extra price £2.50 for rice and noodles again £2.50 they don’t have credit card payment system I ask her why and she Answer very rude way well we decided to stop eating there anyway we go specifically 40-miles to eat there new management is very very bad and rude

Fantastic original food makes a change from the usual Chinese.

Good service one of the items paid for turned out they didnt have. Restaurant called very soon after and swapped it over for something else.

Driver said he couldn't find address ... Apologetic and polite.

I think it was late because of a mixture of the app didn't tell me the driver had arrived and also the driver didn't push my bell. So I was just about to call the restaurant, bit thought I'd check outside the door first and see if it was left outside but the gentleman was just standing there, the food is great.

Too much sweet taste across all the items - would be good to tone down on the sweetness. The Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings didn't taste fresh - almost a re-fried taste. Presentation was good and food was well packed.

I called after the food had not arrived for 20 minutes and was told it would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. Half an hour later it had not arrived and I could not get through to the restaurant. Eventually the food came. Portions were smaller than expected given the price. But it was nice food.

Ordered at 7.20, food was due at 8.05, arrived at 8.30 but it was the wrong order. It is now 9.05 and I'm still waiting for food.

Great food...good portions...and delivered in good time, my only quibble was some of the crispy squid was very chewy, but very pleased overall.

I ordered king prawn fried rice, tom yum soup and singapore noodles but the dishes only had 2 prawns inside!

Portion size were decent, felt the chicken could of been cleaned better i.e. no fat as the pieces seemed to stuck together. The freshness of the chicken in the dim sum was questionable. The curries needed more vegetables I thought.Overall was edible however I was not amazed by it.

Normally the food is very good but this time it was very bad, my massaman curry had no potatoes but an egg, Thai green curry flavour was unusual.

I ordered Singapore fried rice it tasted like curry fried rice and looked like it. After 3 spoons felt like throwing up had to stop eating the food

I am regularly order from this restaurant, my favourite was the prawn pad thai, but the last two time I ordered the the dish it was not the same, the taste was completed bland and either they have changed the recipe or a new chef but will not order again. I do really hope they go back to the old recipe of the prawn pad thai as that was the main reason I used to order on a regular basis. Very disappointed 😔

Good quality food, unlike a lot of Chinese takeaways the individual dishes stood out. Flavours were fresh and the food was hot when it turned up and not overcooked, which was great considering the distance it travelled..

Hair in food! the so called manager who firstly accused the hair to be my childs hair and then denied being the manger and spoke in a rude manner despite the fact that I paid for the food that had been eaten attempted to persuade me to take the left over food as takeaway so he could get full bill paid absolutely worst place I have ever been to I advise people not to eat at this restaurant the staff wear no hair nets when cooking food and then accuse customers of the hair that is present in their food absolutely disgusting !

Food was hot when it arrived. The menu explains if the meal has egg in it or not. I ordered the wrong rice. I called the restaurant and they were more than happy to adjust my order. **** the curry comes in a box with the rice underneath. Genius

Overall very satisfied except the dim sum were quite dry. Extra free treats were a surprise like the salted caramel ice cream, the mints and the fortune cookie. Driver was very pleasant and cheerful. Great customer service!

The food was great unfortunately it wasn’t packaged well so my beef with black pepper sauce leaked out and had no sauce left to eat making it very dry.

Really impressed by the quality and price is not bad, the only thing I think the portions for the starters are quite small for the price, I would expect a couple of dumpling more. In general I recommend it

I would have given this a higher score as overall it was very tasty, turned up on time, pa aged well, good sized portions and not too dry but.....the sesame prawn toast was a let down as it was more bread than prawn (won’t order again) and the Tom Yum prawn soup only had 2 prawns in, now for £5 i expect more, especially as Paya is farsuperior and bigger portioned at only l£2 more a portion and has a lot more prawn content, the soup itself was spicy but pretty flavourless, But, as i said, very good on all other counts, chicken chow mien was tasty, and not too oily, salt and pepper chicken was delicious, and chicken curry had so much chicken in and not like others it didn’t have any mushrooms in and more chicken as a substitute (which is fine by me) . If you are looking for a tasty alternative toPaya then this is it, just don’t get the prawn toast or Tom Yum soup or you will be disapointed

Me and my wife love there food they are like superman cooks we just order in 5-minutes hot food ready we live 40 miles away but food is worth it that’s why we come only issues no card payment other then all perfect and servcie as well thanks to all team

The prawn cracker portions have gone really downhill!£2.50 for about 6 spicy prawn crackers is a joke; we used to get a big bag. Normal prawn crackers used to be provided for free too but not anymore.

The food was bland and had no real Chinese or Thai flavours. We ordered the pad Thai in both veggie and prawn - both just soaked in a sugary tangy sauce and no flavour. The firecracker rice was mushy and flavourless, it was overcooked and difficult to eat. The chicken chow mein tasted like it was only cooked in soy sauce and there was hardly any chicken in. Each of these dishes cost around £8 each and our meal came to a cost of £40 for something that was barely edible. Thoroughly disappointed. Daylight robbery.
