Finn mcouls in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Went to this pub 2 year's ago. When it was the tall ship race,so friendly and nice drinks. We r coming bk to falmouth this August in the motorhome, can't wait to visit this fab pub again!

One of the best pubs in Falmouth. Being an Irish pub, it has so much character and great decor. One of the best parts about it is that it stays open later than elsewhere. Love ending a night out with a pint of Guinness here!

Bar girl is very rude, too, my daughter and boyfriend no please could I look at your ID. She said I need ID from everyone on your table.

It's a great place to sit down have a pint and enjoy the vibe, for a pub like any other it's friendly and the beer is top notch, 100% recommend

Girl behind bar so she incredibly rude rolling her eyes vaping, so unfortunate as the guy behind there was so lovely this was wednesday 15th @ 11 pm very sad as i had good reviews except her

Lovely place for a drink, welcoming for people to bring food in too from any of the nearby places. Nice drink selection, could do with more local options.

Very quaint, typical English pub. Super friendly staff who are easy to talk to. You can also go here with children until 9 p.m.

We only drank tea as a refreshment, so it is not possible to say anything about the other food on offer. But the ambience is worth seeing.

We stopped in this pub when on day out in Falmouth. We liked that there was a lovely fire place pool table and dart board, so plenty to keep family of 4 interteined. Drinks are so much cheaper than in our home town. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I couldn't decide what I want so the barman asked what sort of drinks I usually have and suggested lovely ale. Place was lovely tidy and felt very friendly.

Definitely one of my favourite pubs in Falmouth. Take your own food in, enjoy the live music they put on. Just a great place to relax with a drink

Been coming to Finn Mcouls for over 2 years now but i won’t be coming here again. I was incredibly disappointed on Monday around 7pm when I was rudely told to leave the pub when sat down for a couple minutes waiting for my friend to arrive who was running late. It had been a long day and I had just sat down for a couple minutes catching my breath after trekking halfway across town. You could clearly see I was waiting for company to arrive, we were planning on ordering a pint once she arrived and I was still pondering on what I was going to order. I’d understand if the pub was busy and I was taking up a table but the pub was very empty with only a couple on the table across the room. The guy behind the bar was sat engrossed on his phone and quickly approached me instead of nicely asking if I wanted to order something asked me to leave. Considering I come to the pub quite often being told to leave really threw me off and was quite upset by this. When I told him I was waiting for my friend to arrive I was still told to leave. Not sure what his problem was, he has served me multiple times in the past so he clearly knows i’m a loyal customer and come to the pub often to drink and catch up with friends. Luckily there are a handful of other pubs in Falmouth who are incredibly welcoming and don’t rush you to order a pint or kick you out after a couple minutes sat down waiting for company to arrive in an empty pub

Lovely characterful little bar. Great for a refreshments stop with alcoholic or non. Also serve great coffees. Good to sit in the window and people watch. Another bonus is that they allow you to bring in your own food. Great live music shows but can get a little crowded during these.

Great little pub!! Not your modern 'perfect' type place... but one with character and very very real! What a British (or Irish) pub is meant to be!! Scratched old thick timber tables and the walls covered with posters and trinkets!! A place to sink into a nook with a group of friends and down a Guiness or some ales. :-)

Brilliant locals bar that lets you bring food in from outside- plus they pour a great guiness. Nice theming as well, gets lively on the weekends.

Great locals bar that invites holiday folks landlady a gem place always clean and tidy and sometimes you get the extra table service if there not rushed off there feet.

no atmosphere ignorant landlady had pint removed whilst in toilet they would not replace it ? just laughed nasty tweets every time i go near the place.good riddens.

Great Guinness. Normally I only drink this at home bars in Ireland. An exception is made for Finn's. Properly poured and rested before being served. Unusually this bar permits food to be brought in and eaten. First day fish and chips from Salt and Vinegar across the street. Second day award winning pasty from Rowe's opposite. Other vendors of food locally available but I recommend these. Enjoy the ambience friendly staff and great Guinness.

The best pint of Guiness I've had outside of Ireland. Plus they have the very rare to find 'normal' version, and not just the god awful 'extra cold' sh×te that the mainland UK have been force fed for the last 20 years.

Ein sehr uriger Pub, so wie man sich ihn vorstellt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Bier sehr lecker und man kam schnell mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch. Auch Live-Musik gibt es hier. Bestimmt klasse!

No it's not a traditional Cornish pub - it's an Irish Bar that serves Guinness (and lot's more!)....but it's a fantastic place in the evening or for a few drinks during the day. The outside gives the impression of a drinking den that may not necessarily be family friendly - but ignore this - go through the door and you'll get a wonderful welcome! Well worth a visit if you're in Falmouth.

Basic Finn M'Coul's, good pub but wouldn't recommend taking children in it! Seemed an awful lot of swearing and arguing going on in a group when we went in on Falmouth week.🤔 Likeable staff and good service though! Nice coffee too!
