We were celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday at FILINI. The celebration took another level when our waiter Darwin realized of our celebration. He went above and beyond to please my mom’s wishes. He made special arrangements so my mom would have exactly what she wanted for her special day. On top of everything, Darwin arranged a delicious cake for her and sang happy birthday. We are very thankful with Darwin and wanted him to know that we would hold great memories from our trip and my mom’s celebration thanks to him 🙏🏼. This is priceless!

You can’t call this Italian with a straight face. The food is mediocre to say the least and wine selection is as comparable to a Wetherspoons. If I had a choice when I checked in I would have ate at the bar or somewhere else, I didn’t have enough time at the hotel to choose.

Watched who I assume is the in charge of the floor yell at a waitress (Darwin). I wouldn't recommend interacting with Darwin. Shout out to the waitress he yelled at, she was lovely. Got the family ragu for 4-6, shared between 3 and was barely enough. Convenient but not worth it.

Waiting for 20 mins for someone to get my order till I had to go the bar to put the order through. Then waiting 20 mins for a pana cota and then they come apologizing. Waiting 10 mins for the bill as they are unable yo charge the customer. I suggest call the restaurant waitini instead of Felini I have e to say that the restaurant was not even busy

We ate here out of convenience after landing late. Obviously the prices are high - you are paying for the ease of walking in straight from your room. We begun with the unusual experience of a leaving guest speaking directly at us in a foreign language whilst also seemingly talking with a server. Weird but ok. Our server, Darwin, was very argumentative with both us and the other staff. We witnessed him arguing with his colleagues on the floor which was quite awkward. After waiting a long time for our cocktails, I asked him where our drinks were and he gave a very brusque and sharp response. This was followed by the drinks being immediately served which was suspicious. I suspect they had been languishing at the bar. Suja was very polite and professional. In regards to the food - somehow they were out of bread baskets which seems silly. We instead opted for the ‘garlic bread’ which was £7 for a sliced up piece of naan. The family sized meals are advertised to feed 4-6 people. In my opinion, it would feed 4-6 toddlers. We shared between three adults which was far more appropriate. It was about as good as you’d expect. Probably at the level of a nice pre-made meal, or airplane lounge. When we requested to pay, we were told the machine was down. We were able to charge it to the room, but they weren’t even able to provide a receipt. To be honest, I wish I’d gone to the Pakistani restaurant around the corner.

We arrived at dinner at 9:30. One hour before closing time. It took at least 20 minutes after being seated for the waiter to come to our table. He came over and provided a sincere apology and we felt his delayed attention was out of his control. After ordering, it took an hour for our food to arrive. We ordered the tortellini, the lasagna, a Margherita pizza, and the veal. All of the items lacked luster. There was nothing authentic about any of the dishes. Honestly between poor service and horrible food quality, please save your money and avoid this place at all cost. McDonalds would be better than this. The veal picatta did not have capers or the sauce. The pizza sauce was very sour and the cheese was hard and chewy. The tortellini came with some sort of brown gravy that made the dish seem like fish soup instead of pasta. Honestly they shouldn’t waste their time TRYING to be Italian. They should stick with simple pub food and hope that it comes out way better than anything they have on the current menu. UPDATE: our server came by around 11:30 to ask how everything was and jumped to asked if we needed anything else since the kitchen was closed. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, they took the credit card machine and selected the 20% gratuity option for themselves. ABSURD!!!!

We went here as it was part of the hotel. It looks very nice and we were seated within a few minutes of arriving. We did not get served until 25 minutes later for either food or drink. The food arrived before our drinks and we had to ask again for them to be brought to the table. The tortellini was an incredibly small serving for £20 and needed two sides to make it more filling. The lasagna was reasonably priced and tasted nice. Overall, it was very expensive for what you get.

Got garlic bread that was Naan bread. Overpriced, £6 service charge. For what? When asked about it, there was no response other than yes. I don't understand how it has 4 stars. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Ran out of characters on my Radisson RED hotel review, so I am including the dinner portion here: Dinner time! We went down to the lobby and soon found ourselves at Filini (not to be confused with the Italian director Federico Fellini who would likely have considered it slander to have his name remotely associated with this place), the hotel restaurant claiming to serve Italian cuisine. The host took us to our table where we sat down and began browsing the menu. The prices were fairly high, but I was expecting to be gouged at a hotel that close to the airport. An extremely disinterested waiter who seemed to think that us ordering some Cokes was an imposition took our order. We sat in the perfectly sterile and soulless dining room and awaited our food. Restaurant staff shouted loudly across the dining room at each other. Eventually our food came. My wife had ordered a goat cheese and caramelized onion pizza. Instead she received a vegan broccoli, olive, and tomato pizza with bread crumbs standing in for vegan cheese. The item received was not even on the menu. My child ordered penne pasta with bolognese. This dish appeared correct and adequate, but when he attempted to eat it, the pasta disintegrated into a mush. I had ordered a simple margherita pizza. Allow me to describe the mockery that I received. Imagine you explain to a toddler what a margherita pizza is. You then give them $10 and send them into a grocery store to purchase ingredients. They select ketchup and string cheese and spread them over a bland crust. They garnish it with a pool of olive oil. If you’ve ever eaten Ellio’s frozen pizza, you’ve had the better version of what I ate. Whatever. We were tired and hungry, so we swallowed some down without complaint and paid the check. One more thing. As we were leaving, our waiter turned toward me and just stared at me with a blank, creepy expression on his face. It was bizarre. I just smiled, nodded, and left the restaurant. Avoid the attached hotel in general and you will avoid this place by default.

Disappointing. Waited ages for the order to be taken, but food did arrive quite quickly thereafter. However, it was not well presented and the pizza was undercooked on top and burnt on the bottom. Lasagne was tasteless but garlic bread was good. Struggled to get someone's attention in order to pay. Considering the prices expected better.

The employee, Souad, is very cooperative and dedicated to her work, and her cheerful and welcoming attitude made me feel more comfortable in the place. All thanks to her and her more than wonderful, friendly and smiling treatment. She helped me with something that was not in the restaurant in the first place, and she cared very much about the matter. I lived in the hotel for a week, and my best time was dinner because Be there 🤍

Darwin, is a great host. He really looks after the customers. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We stay at the Radisson before travelling through Heathrow a few times a year. Yet despite the thousands of people he must see at this hotel, he recognised us and really made us feel special and valued customers. He really is a credit to the Filini and the Radisson.

Darwin really went the extra mile today. I was on the way out having decided the table was too noisy for my hearing aids. He caught my eye and immediately found me a quieter table. Service was quick and friendly. Menu was reasonably broad but it was the service that made the difference. The restaurant was busy but the staff were working quickly with great skill .

It is a very elegant and beautiful hotel, and had an amazing restaurant, I received the best service ever from SOUAD , I got welcomed at the door by her, she is nicest woman ever. Her service was so excellent I was so impressed. Her time management was absolutely incredible she was multitasking by serving me and the tables around me, meeting my needs. Any more things me and the other tables kept adding she would serve us right away with no delay and professional with the biggest smile ever. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant and will definitely be visiting there again very soon.

Darwin, our waiter was suitably attentive, helpful and descriptive about the delicious food and the portion sizes. The hostess found us a very comfortable booth after we asked to be seated somewhere more cosy and private. The lamb ragu was absolutely delicious and the veal tender, succulent and a large portion. My husband raved about the chocolate cake which was flourless whilst my Limoncello trifle was zingingly refreshing. Compliments to the chef. Well done to everyone concerned with running this stylishly decorated restaurant.

The ambiance and service were commendable, creating an inviting atmosphere upon arrival. However, the same cannot be said for the culinary aspect, specifically the Mafaldine pasta and cotetta plate we eagerly ordered. The Mafaldine pasta lacked the vibrant flavors and al dente perfection one would expect from a well-executed Italian dish. The cotetta plate, too, failed to impress, with the promised blend of Indian and Italian influences falling flat. The overall quality of the food left a lingering disappointment that overshadowed the otherwise pleasant dining environment. I believe constructive feedback is crucial for improvement, and I hope FILINI takes this opportunity to revisit the execution of their dishes. It's clear that there's potential for greatness within the establishment, and a focus on enhancing the culinary offerings could transform it into a standout destination. First impressions.... not clean, the host took us to our table and there was food everywhere, some sort of dried in cream on the seat and crumbs, same on the floor crumbs everywhere. Sat down after brushing the food off the seats, read the menu decided we were ready to order, 10 minutes had gone by still no one has come to see us or ask how we are. The place looked unorganised and messy. We should have just walked away at that point but there wasn't many options especially for hungry people with a hungry toddler. My husband had to flag our waiter down after 3 attempts. You could tell our waiter had his mind on other things as he wasn't very friendly or talkative, they must be understaffed too. I ordered my daughter tomato soup expecting it to be home made.. nope it was Heinz tomato soup, she had 3 spoonfuls and she was done with it. It was so sweet like ketchup soup. Gross! Said it comes with croutons and it didnt not that it mattered because she couldn't eat it. That bowl of tinned soup cost £9 what a rip off! I ordered the lamb ragu it came sloppy and barely any meat in there, looked like such a sad dish. My husband ordered lobster ravioli and he chose right at least one thing went well. The waiter came to our table to ask us how we were which was good but then we didn't see him again for a long time. There we were flagging down waiters again to pay the bill. Im not usually a complainer but this place was a huge disappointment. I suggest eating at the hotel bar!

Excellent service from the servers in the Filini in house Italian restaurant. We had a bit of a medical drama, and our guy Darwin, and the team were very quick and responsive in helping us. They also served us another meal, and made us feel very well supported, welcome and looked after. Great customer service.

We had no choice at 9.30 pm, after a long drive, to eat here otherwise after 15 minutes of being ignored we would have walked out. The service is just appalling and whoever runs this place needs training in hospitality management. Staff totally uninterested and the food mediocre at best. We had the seafood tagliatelle and when I saw it was very underwhelmed. It tasted ok but the consistency was rubbery. Oh well! I certainly don’t recommend it but if you don’t eat out much and have no expectations of even decent service it will be ok for you.

good beer, generous tasty food portions, and cheap too ! distinctly less generous portions, since 'brexhit'... At least the beer is still good, and still cheap! Their pepperoni pizzas are particularly delicious.! Staff are also very good people.
