A truly delicious brunch, what a fabulous menu, can’t wait to return and try more. Service was quick and friendly, a real delight and different to the normal boring offerings.

Lovely little cafe with a small but perfect selection on offer. Nothing mundane here… a beautifully crafted menu that we will keep returning to My only question is … why no cash? I understood during Covid but let’s keep cash going guys!

Wr stopped in for an impromptu late lunch. We were both really pleased with our choices, very tasty and good sized portions Really enjoyed it and we will be back

Why is there no listing for FiKA cafe at Woolfox (Golf Club) on A1 north of Stamford ? Much bigger than Stamford High St but the same food and ambience. A good eat both visits with trendy young staff and same menu it seems. We have been x 2 visits now as parking is sooo much easier than Stamford town. Only downside is that its absolutely bloomin NOISY- from the drinks mix machine & serving clatter to the regular customer chatter bouncing off the (minimalist and very on-trend) bare walls/bare floors/bare furniture.

The George Hotel of Stamford High Street
A return to the George after many family visits years ago. Unfortunately the service has declined. We were a table of 4 seated close to the bar. Many staff serving and pouring drinks but not one brought menus or looked in our direction for 20 minutes. I asked for menus but even this wasnt enough to warrant staff asking for our order or speaking to us to let us know they were busy. The George, once known for its impeccable service is no longer the George that I remember.

19 Maiden LaneThe burgers. That’s the post. Amazing. Cool little place, love the contemporary twist they’ve given to this ancient cream stone pub. Keep doing what you are doing The King’s Head - you are the best pub in Stamford!
