Amazing…. I travel the country and googled a healthy place for breakfast and this place came up. I gave it a try and wasn’t disappointed. Greeted at the door with a smile. Ordered with a quick service - the food was really good, fresh and tasty, give it a go!

My wife with her friends often visits and it’s one of their favourite places. It was quite busy but we didn’t have any problem getting a table, suggestion you book if there are more than four of you. The staff are very friendly and efficient and they happily dropped a blind as the sun was blinding me. It’s very clean and it’s nice to see all the staff clearing tables rather than just walking by and ignoring things. We had a bacon sandwich and pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. The tea pot was generous and a good size coffee cup. The food was excellent and freshly cooked but just a few things they could do to improve things. Firstly the bread for the sandwich was obviously from a sliced loaf, from a bloomer/sour dough would have been much better, also it was just sliced into four squares and not presented in a ‘pretty’ fashion. The bacon on the pancakes was cut into small strips which was a nice touch and then piled on to the pancakes which made it very presentable but the bacon was a bit underdone for most peoples choice, leaving some fat not rendered. Also the plates were cold which affected the food quite quickly. Overall very good but next time I’ll ask for my bacon to be done a bit more.

What a fantastic cafe/restaurant, this isn’t the first time I have been but today I brought my son, daughter in law and my two grandchildren 10 & 7 years along. They are very busy on Saturday mornings so it is advisable to book to avoid disappointment. My granddaughter and I had the amazing French toast pancakes with an abundance of quality bacon and a little pot of maple syrup. My son had the “the best sausage sandwich I have ever had “, my daughter in law ordered the scrambled eggs on sour dough toast with smoked salmon and bacon. My fussy eater grandson had bacon and chips which he thoroughly enjoyed. The portions here are more than generous, the quality of the produce is fantastic and is cooked to perfection. Everyone who was eating there looked to have huge portions and left clean plates! I really felt that I was getting great value for money and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The staff were friendly and efficient and the place was spotlessly clean. I am looking forward to my next visit to sample more of their dishes and to try out their tapas menu in the evenings. There is seating outside which would be nice when the weather is better and if you have a dog.

While doing our quick visit shopping at Rustington, popped into Figs for a coffee and some breakfast. We only had some toast and a warmed almond croissant, but the food being served up around us looked delicious. Definitely going back for a fuller breakfast. Very friendly staff and a great lively atmosphere there. I think a lot of local folk make use of this lovely eating place.

WOW!! Where do I begin! I decided to rake my wife for lunch and found Fig right by the carpark. It was so busy and was told we would have to wait and it was well worth the wait. From being greeted, to service, to food, to paying, all 1st class! If you haven't been you are really missing out, the only advise I would give is book ahead if you can or just wait. This cafe is a real Rustington gem!! 12 put 10. Well done guys!

I must say from the start their reviews are very positive so we must have just been unlucky. Plan was to go for breakfast (9:40) but all the tables were booked from 10:00, the young lady said we could sit at one for 20 minutes. Decided against the idea of breakfast due to the time limitation & ordered two coffees after about 5 minutes which is fine they had other people to serve it’s not long in the norm. The coffee was boiling as in couldn’t touch it, after 10 mins took a sip & it tasted like boiled water with a slight coffee taste. At this point 9:55 the people arrived who booked so to avoid any embarrassment plus there is no room really for them to stand inside we ‘jumped ship’ leaving the coffees hardly touched, I paid & we left. As I said their reviews are very positive so everyone else must be right, all I know is I wasted my money & didn’t want to create a fuss, won’t be back.

This cafe almost needs two seperate reviews as it does a great trade in breakfast//brunch and then transforms into a tapas place at night. Luckily, both are good. The chef works so hard and clearly cares about what he is doing. Even something as simple as a bacon sandwich is somehow just that little bit nicer than elsewhere. The coffee is ace, the full breakfast lovely. The tapas is superb. We had Pollo con Queso - delightfully crispy chicken pieces with cheese and a gorgeous chipotle mayo - that we liked so much we ordered another plate. Spanish omelette, houmous, Salt Cod Croquetas, all tasty and fresh. Good wine, nice choices of cocktails. We feel lucky it is local to us. (The only criticism I have is that sometimes the welcome is a bit miserable/unsmiling. I hate being under the heaters - it makes me feel unwell, so I always hope for a seat away from them but the manager once told me off for sitting at a table before she told me where I was allowed to go - I would understand if two of us had sat at a table for 4 but it was another table for 2.) I thoroughly recommend this hidden gem that will surprise you with its beautiful flavours.

I do like my coffee stops. This one takes some beating. Toasties, baps and pastries are all excellent. They must be doing something right as many of the customers keep coming back time and time again. Staff are all very friendly. Atmosphere great. They even spoil my dog. Nina & Justin doing a great job unlike Justin,s dress sense

Lovely vibes to the place. We ordered the Gnocchi and Ragu, it was fantastic. Dog friendly but make sure you book as it can get busy.
