This is one of my favourite craft beer breweries in Scotland. In their edinburgh bar, they've got 20 craft beers on tap. What's not to like!

Delicious selection of beer both on tap and in bottles/cans. With the option to buy beer to take home at a reduced price.

Visited a few times now...clean friendly pub in the heart of Edinburgh. Good selection of beers with different flavours and brewed in scotland. Quite quiet when we've been in so good for chatting.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere and a great selection of beers (including takeaway cans). I especially loved the range of sour beers and the Hard Cola.

Nice range of tap beer, with some guest taps from local brews, cans and bottles. You can BYOF (bring your own food)

People who know me know I just love a good craft ale place, and this is no exception. Sat not far from Princes Street, and what I assume is a busy location for passing trade, is this gem of a place. I'm not one for ambiguity, but the name is a clear and defiant flag that you're coming here for beer, and that's what you're blooming well gonna get! Out with a few friends from work who were eager to show me a few of the excellent watering holes in Edinburgh, and this was second on the list. As you walk through the door, you immediately feel the busyness of the outside world shut out. The place is calmly lit, with enough music to cover the trumps and burps of other patrons, but not enough to make conversation a challenge. The bar is up ahead to the right, with tables of various types and heights, and a seating area to the right. I didn't explore to find further seating. A very welcoming and helpful chap behind the bar, very knowledgeable in his wares, was on hand to give any support required. 20 kegs were ready for my deliberation, and in my usual split pint approach to places like this, I chose three thirds to maximise my enjoyment (I avoided the 12.5% imperial stout which would be my normal go to choice as I needed to stay vertical for more pubs, but I took note in the hope I could pop back later in the week!) To the side of the bar is a fridge which stocked a number of enticing cans, but I begrudgingly accepted that loading up like a pack horse at this stage was not conducive to a fun afternoon for me. Posters on the wall made it blatantly clear that this was an establishment that want to create a community of regulars, and if I was living within a reasonable distance I would be wanting to be part of that community. Seating was the sort of interesting oddballs and mismatches that one expects of this sort of establishment, but comfort was freely available and none of us had to endure a wooden bench. 'Winchester suitability' had me chewing over this location, though. The building itself should be very easily defended in a zombie apocalypse, given the table to window ratio, but given the potentially vast numbers of potential zombies in the vicinity, it could end up being a challenge to get out on supply runs...

I'm not normally one for beer or lager but these are really tasty. The cherry cola beer is a must try. Leaves an almost cherry bakewell taste.

A great variety of their own beers to suit most tastes. Lots of other drinks available if beer isn't your thing. Relaxed environment with friendly staff. We stayed for the Wednesday Pub Quiz which had a good format and was entertaining. Would definitely go back.

Really good range of exciting beers all in great condition

We just came in for some beer, and it was worth the trip. There is a huge selection and a wide variety. They don't do beer flights but do 1/3 pint pours so I had six different short pours. The beers range from good to great, six for six. The bartenders were great too.

Almost every beer is theirs. Which would be fine if they made good beer .... I did not like their stuff. A bit on the trendy side....no .. a lot on TV he trendy side

Dark bar on a sunny day but 20 taps with fiercely good beers. Sunny terrace in the afternoon so worth to try. Scott's at the opposite.

So 3 of us went. There were two bartenders. The one served myself and aunt a drink that was HALF full. My aunt also got a classic Cocktail which was supposed to be discounted today. My mother got a classic cocktail from the other bartender and got the discounted price and got the full cocktail glass filled.. A good bartender if they made a drink accidentally half full, they would’ve fixed it not just served it to the person like it was correct. They also would’ve made sure that a paying customer got the price for the day. We were going to drink several drinks there, but we only got those got up and laughed and now leaving a bad review because of that.

Super friendly staff and truly original beers that you can't find anywhere else! A unique experience in Edinburgh, we loved it!

Great atmosphere and place to go on a Friday night. Not much space. Some unique beers though. When I was there they were running a grape flavored sour! They had some other interesting things as well that I can't recall. But the servers were friendly and can help you narrow down the options because they do have a decent selection! I can't speak to the food.

Brilliant night with pub quiz along with some crazy craft beer. Great atmosphere and staff genuinely warm. Going to make it my regular.

Staff were lovely, IPA was reasonable but they don’t serve food as advertised on their Google Maps ‘link’ (although they did say I could order in to be fair). I’m hungry!

One of the few pubs that allow babies. Service is really good and the team very friendly. Good selection of beers and even non alcoholic beer on tap. Highly recommended 👌

Gluten free beer on tap. Great variety from a great brewer.

Great choice of beer from this brewery, including several stouts/porters, we chose the marshmallow porter, they did have a stronger porter on offer also. All the draft beers are on tap not on hand pull but weren't fizzy like some tap beers can be.

Easy 5 star bar. Fabulous service. Some of the very best beer the fine city of Edinburgh has to offer. Fierce make it look so effortless....when it really isn't! Fabulous. Keep doing what you are doing.

Lovely welcome from the Bar Gang. Extensive tap menu linked to Untappd via electronic boards. Some amazing beers. Very laid back & friendly. Couldn't fault this place - went back again the following night.

Fantastic spot for drinks even if you aren’t a beer lover, they have a great selection of spirits, wine etc. The wednesday pub quiz is brilliant too!

Been here a few times now. Amazing staff, amazing food and amazing drinks. Highly recommended and worth the money. If your near by, swing by here for some of the best selection of beers on tap and some great customer service.

Only had drinks, hence not rating the food. Loved this pub - was taken by a friend and was stunned at the range of things on tap. Great selection, not bank-breaking, nice vibe inside too, will definitely be returning!

Wir haben nur Bier vor Ort getrunken, allerdings sehr lecker. Es gaben nicht so viele Essoptionen. Draußen an der Straße war klar, nur Selbstbedienung.

Great selection of niche beers (one of the finest in Edinburgh) would highly recommend for any beer connoisseur. There is something for everyone and the staff are very knowledgeable.

Like half a dozen gluten free beers made in their own brewery. I've only tried one thus far, given my short stay in the city that, regrettably, may be all I get. The Rhubarb Fruity Pale is its own thing in the GF beer world; I've had gluten free beers on four continents and never found anything quite like it. If airlines allowed liquids this size in your carry on, I'd don all my clothes and fill my backpack with several cans of this brewery's beers. So at the very least, you should stop in and fill your bladder with one.

Decent ales, number 4 is good. Didn't feel out of place, which is unusual at my age.

This was one of the best places we visited in Scotland, super helpful and kind staff, only intended to visit once but came back 3 times as it was the best place to get a decent beer

Another great Edinburgh tap room. Plenty of beers to choose from and we sat here for a good few hours in the sun down this quiet little Street. Allowed us to order food in which was a nice touch. Friendly staff

Scottish craft beer bar on the popular Rose Street. Fierce have a wide range of their own craft beers, as well as guests at a reasonable price for too quality beers. They do a £6.50 classic cocktail list on a Sunday and also offer 20% on takeaway beers. Nice little beer terrace area perfect for picking up the afternoon sun. One of the better bars on Rose Street

Looked like a good selection but didn't get the chance to sample much. Also a quiet Sunday evening. Will visit again some day.

The final bar from the weekend, and it didn't disappoint. Managed to get a couple of high ABV beers on tap to enjoy. Good selection of own and guest beers available too. They offer a 20% discount on takeaway bottles/cans so think that'll form part of my next visit. One thing I like in particular is they're connected to untapped so you can see yourself on screen!

Ordered a #3 Hazy IPA that was delicious, Female bartender served me promptly and recommended me this. Later, I then ordered a #15 Double Hazy IPA, the male bartender was rude and poured me about 250cc of beer and 250cc foam, I then went back respectfully to ask to top it off, and he refused... stating he poured me the "correct amount." I had the drink right in front of him and he said "just wait for the foam to dispense.." ridiculous I got scammed by this guy.. won't return...

Great selection of beers, friendly staff and they let you bring food in. My only con is that it can get a bit too noisy to have a conversation if it gets super busy

Stumbled across this place last night. We were only planning on staying for 1 but ended up having many more as the selection of craft beers was just to good to have one and leave. Will definitely be back for round 2!

Very good selection of beers and other alcoholic drinks. It is quite cosy and not too loud. The only bad point about this place is that does not accept cash. For that reason I would not be looking to come back here.

Large selection of great beers. The overtone tayberry and honeyberry sour was a particular favourite. Cosy, warm and some great tunes ☺️ relaxing with friends with great beer listening to Hendrix, stones et Al

Beer is always great but the food is also next level. Had the lamb special tonight and it was so good I wanted to call the chef and thank them for it when I got home. Well spiced, perfect portion size, balanced flavours and super enjoyable. That's a real skill often overlooked.

Excellent beer.. the rhubarb beer was particularly good if you like your beer sour and sipping. Top-tip: their good whiskies are good value (which is not to say they should put their prices up... you pay the "by the nip" "pub premium" and then the whisky is pretty much cost price. I would usually dodge whisky at the pub 'cos I have some good stuff at home...) but If seen the whisky they sell for £12 sell for 5X that in Glasgow.

We stumbled upon this bar during a walk around Edinburgh. As a fan of craft beer it was a golden find. Superb beers of there own. Highly recommend. Just wish we had more time there

We stumbled across this lovely place, and felt straight at home, very welcoming and knowledgeable of there beers , friendly atmosphere we missed the food while we were here this time but we'll definitely be back for food aswell next time. Great to meet Jordy great lad xx

Best hoppy beers in the city and the only west coast IPA that I have found is actually hoppy
