Fiddlers in Northampton

To be clear I am reviewing the public house at 130 Wellingborough Road Northamton. This pub is a real dive full of pond life. Lots of security on the doors that attempt to intimidate customers. Lots of fights in the pub and a terrible derilict hostile atmosphere. The only recommendation I can put forward for this place is to avoid at all costs!!!

A great night out with friends. Felt very safe as they have doorman and the DJ was banging. I have seen they have lots of events coming up so I will be sure to visit again to check them out. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely bring returning soon.

Rachel’s absolutely brilliant, we had such a lovely welcome with personal service at the Fiddlers. Felt so welcome and had a great time for birthday celebrations. Could not ask for more. Will be back again.

Fiddlers is always a safe bet never have any trouble always able to relax here the bar staff are exceptional chole Karen and Rachel are really friendly and very helpful in getting the mrs tipsy lol dj lee is a legend

First time visiting this pub on a Friday night after nearly 8 years living in Northampton. It was alright. Had fun and the music was good. Lots and lots of young people

The DJ didn’t hear about transitions or BPM, it was a complete mess. I didn’t review it 1 star because of the sound system which is good.

Easily accessible, has pool table and darts.

I visited Northampton with my bestie at the weekend and we walked along Wellingborough road.. no place seemed to attract us until we came here. They have a large selection of cocktails and these were very nice, you will have to try the Jelly Belly one!🍹 The staff are friendly and attend to customers requests/needs.🙌 The music that played at the beginning when we were there was good then it seemed to be repetive tiktok music and the annoying dj sound kept going off through the music.. reminded me at school with the dj button on the keyboard 🤦🏼‍♀️ but overall it was a lovely place to be in and a safe place aswell. 👍

Nice pub but I've seen better. We went out in a Saturday night and the place was almost empty. Music could be better...

Drinks at reasonable price but waiting time to be served os not so great, the DJ must be a 10 year old kid still learning how to mix/transition the music... otherwise I just a place to have a quick drink

Had a great laugh, the roof was quite low so a heads up to all the tall people on the dance floor! The outside smoke/vaping areas are great and I am happy to say they are monitored quite well. 🤟

A great spot too go to on a date or for a quiet drink sunday-thursday. Friday and saturday be prepared to wait to get served as their ram out latter in the evening. Overall a nice place to drink with wonderful staff

Went in early- lots of potential, a licence til 3am and a pinball table in good nick- what's not to like

Not a bad bar to visit but there are certainly nicer looking pubs in the area. The staff are friendly and there are enough drink options available. The price however, in my opinion is not suitable for the place, as the prices are higher than I would have expected. That being said, there was not much wrong about the place, just needs a make over.

Great time, good social distancing rules why also making you feel like you can still enjoy your night and actually move out your seat. Cocktails are a great price also! The pub is clean and staff was friendly.

Staff and management suffer greatly with insecurity and the premises has a severe lack of security you will find it difficult to get served if you are of any ethnicity other then white unless accompanied by other white people they are familiar with. The 1 star is for the friendly D.J other then that give it a miss

Very bitter and racist hostess at the bar. Saturday 19:00 I Went with a friend for drinks and the lady who served did it with serious attitude like she had something against us. I went back to get a spare cup and she rained drama on me. My friend got so uncomfortable he said we should leave and asked if we could take our drinks away, lady went and grabbed my almost full cup of drink, walked away and said the likes of us should not even be there. Never experienced such in my life, total hate! Cos we are black??

This pub seems to have really turned around from years ago. Drink prices are fine and they even have a pinball machine. A small outside area out the back. Yet to try the pub again on a busy weekend evening.
