well worth a visit when at the museum. The place is clean and tidy with pleasant staff. Selection of food was reasonable given the time of year (March) of our visit.

Visited the Slate museum today. Had to wait for a table to be cleaned in the cafe nd the floor was left in a disgusting state with food everywhere. Drinks served in plastic cups and the scone rock hard avoid. Sadly I would not give it 1 star

My family came to visit us so we took them to the cafe inside the Slate Museum, the food we ordered was top notch but the one thing that impressed all of us was the friendly service and very smiling staff who were also very helpful. we noticed that everybody they served in and outside were treated the same way even though the cafe was packed as it was half term. I actually went back inside to tell them how excellent they were! We were there 29th October. Thank you staff!

A well presented cafe with a great choice of fresh food. On a busy lunchtime it was great to find this place. Salads are excellent and the fresh quiche is a great choice also. Full marks for everything here.

Only one sandwich available and an enquiry about Gluten free got the reply "no nothing", however the Bara Brith was very nice. Staff as dull as the weather and service without a smile!

Visited the Slate Museum and stopped for lunch. Spicy carrot soup and cheese/onion pasty (no egg mayo sandwich available). Soup was tasty ....pasty average. Husband and son enjoyed jacket potato with pot of tea. Scone with clotted cream and jam was average. Toilet on site. Friendly service. Worth a visit Friendly service and worth a visit

This is the café inside the National Slate museum, serving freshly-made sandwiches as well as soup of the day and some pies and pasties. I had a ham sandwich and was blown away by the taste -- it was one of the best ham sandwiches I've ever eaten. The lady behind the counter explains that it was "ham from the bone" from a local butcher; none of this "plastic" pre-sliced ham from the supermarket. Such a difference in taste! Highly recommended.

As they had sold out of what we wanted , were very good in cooking us some fish fingers and chips which was really good and very reasonable and filled us up to continue around the museum.

We called in here today 11th Feb. It was a beautifully sunny but extremely windy winters day. We had decided to go for a drive and ended up in Llanberis. We hadn't been here for a few years since our grandson had grown up. We decided to have a coffee but the aroma of the hot soup on a cold day overcame us. It was wonderful, lovely hot tomato and basil soup and a ham sandwich (with plenty of ham). The atmosphere in the cafe was extremely friendly, and although quite busy, the service was quick and efficient. We will definitely return.

Had coffee and cake and waited to find seats as it is really small and not enough tables. But it was well worth waiting for as cake was homemade and coffee delicious. There are quite a few dishes on the menu and people with allergies are well catered for. We wish we had more time to sample their cooking as the aroma was mouth watering. We will be back!!

Quite busy when we were there, not a lot of choice really, the soup ran out but was replaced by another variety, no eggs on the day we were there, but the baked potato I had was nice and fluffy with a good helping of tuna.

After a lovely circular walk up to the falls what more could you want than a warm welcome and hot drink and cafe. Simple cafe serving simple food and drinks but the welcome makes it perfect.

The most obvious tea room on the promenade at Criccieth, painted in a vivid blue, this location will be familiar with many. We called in on a windy by warm bank holiday Sunday for drinks and cake. There was a decent selection of clearly home made food, and tbh I can understand why everything is served takeaway style. Whilst the cups are cardboard, the service is still friendly and the view is great. We really enjoyed our cakes whilst watching the surfer and paddle boarders in the bay from upstairs.

It's an ok place. Same as all Greggs though, when eating in, the tables are never wiped because the staff are working flat out, but all Greggs are definitely the same.
