Had delivery. Superb quality, lamb burger, gourmet burger and hallumi wrap. Fresh, hot and came with gorgeous salad.

Having been for a Charity night - see below. We were lucky enough to win a voucher in the raffle. Yesterday four of us went for Sunday lunch. Overall, the food was even better than the Charity night. We had a shared starter of tortillas, then two of us had steaks - sirloin & ribeye, one had the burger and the last a whole piri piri chicken. All were very good, the steak excellent. Perfectly cooked and superb flavour. We finished with various deserts, sadly none were stunning and when we mentioned this they were kind enough to take the feedback on board and even gave us a discount. Very impressive. We’ll be back definitely for starters and mains and probably the steak - yum yum. (Went for a charity night. Bearing in mind they had to serve 100+ people at once the food was pretty good, service friendly.)

Amazing T-bone steak, really well cooked with rosemary, garlic, onions.. delicious meal - and lovely, friendly staff. Highly recommended if you fancy a great steak. Yum!

Very friendly staff, very clean and tidy restaurant. The food wasn't all that great, though. I had lamb chops that had zero seasoning and were very tasteless. I asked for medium-rare but got well-done instead.

The chicken was stale and overcooked. We both threw half of our meals away.

Lovely food and customer service. Owner comes to each table and makes sure customers are looked after. When the waitress noticed that I hadn’t eaten my dessert she asked me why and I said I didn’t like it. Later the owner came to apologise for that and made sure it was deducted from our bill.

Food was all fresh and tasted very nice, family all enjoyed their meals...atmosphere was nice too..nice restaurant to visit.

The burgers were so dry you had to have a drink to swallow, the chips were hard And the moussaka had sooo much cheese and barely any meat or vegetables, usually I would love the fact there was lots of cheese but this was all cheese lol. On the plus side I loved the sides come in little pots and the staff were lovely, food was bad.

they were not good, the old ones have been refrozen, they don't have the same taste and sauce as I bought in the past, I ate 2 or 3 and I feel bad, the rest I have to throw away.

FOOD POISONING! Myself and my daughter ate for the first time here and really enjoyed the food until just after 24 hours later my daughter was in agony and was rushed to hospital to find out she had food poisoning and she was really unwell. Big mistake trying fernandos, will never return!

Mickey the proprietor and his staff ensure your experience is a delight from the moment you walk in with a warm greeting, catering to your every need and respectfully checking half way through your meal that everything is tickety boo. He is a food technician, taking pride in your pleasure, serving decent portions beautifully seasoned and presented well. The Atmosphere only has four stars because the restaurant needs more of us to support it, otherwise it would be five

We had a great meal at Fernando's this week to celebrate a family birthday. The food was delicious- perfectly cooked meats and sides, and lovely fresh salads. There are lots of options on the menu besides the burgers, and lots of sides to choose from. Regrettably we didn’t get as far as dessert, as we were so full from the starters and mains! Our server Binky was absolutely brilliant, as she has been on previous visits. She is efficient and warm and does a great job of managing the front of house by herself. My only criticism (and it’s a very small one!) is that the music that was playing was a bit too mellow and made us feel sleepy- maybe something a little more upbeat would be good. But overall, a really lovely restaurant and we’ll certainly be back again.

Never disappointed with them and highly recommend this place. 🤗 I've been to this place a few times in the past couple of years, I really love their food and the atmosphere, they are really respectful and always checking on if everything is okay and they are really welcoming. Once I went there I was on a special diet and the owner was really caring and checking everything, all ingredients and helped me to chose something what fit into my diet. Definitely coming back some time.

Very quiet when we went in Sunday evening for dinner, which was actually quite nice. Served straight away. Very friendly staff. Only small thing, there was already a 10.1% service charge on the bill. I would have tipped anyway but I’d have liked to have had the choice for that.

burger was great. but chicken in mixed grill was variable. some tasted like it had been cooked and reheated and a couple of wings were not cooked fully.

Had a lunchtime meal today. Food was excellent 👌. Presume the owner was there lovely friendly and welcoming. Not busy but was only 1pm. Would recommend for the food . Chicken shish was lovely and large. Fernando's signature burger was also very tasty. Will definitely return.

Seemed like a nice team and food cooked well. However questionable if it's actually Halal / Kosher, there's nothing listed on the website or this page, just an old review. If you're looking for either cuisines then my advice is to check or go elsewhere. Trying to be balanced here but those dietary requirements can be important to some and theres no room for doubt.

Nice atmosphere although a bit slow for a Saturday night. Great service too. Very disappointed in my steak. I ordered a rib eye steak and it tasted like a poor rump steak.

Very disappointment drove all the way from London. getting disappointment in the end poor service and the excuses were busy what kind of excuse is that we’re group of people half of them eating the food and half of them. still waiting for the food did not enjoy the evening bad service very bland food not recommend it. You gotta keep telling them that we’re missing food.

Delicious and fairly priced food in a welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very personable and has always stopped to chat to me and my partner when we've eaten here. We've been here many times and it's never let us down - would highly recommend!

My girlfriend was getting annoyed because the order was taking to long for it to get made and delivered. :) Anyone else have this issue when your girlfriend is hungry

Visited Fernando's last Friday to celebrate family birthday (10 in our group). We all had a great time - Service was first class, great menu, all meals arrived together, and Food was fabulous. Such a lovely atmosphere will definitely be going back again - Thank-you lovely for a lovely evening.

Walking in on a busy Sunday evening with a crying toddler could have set the tone for a terrible evening. Luckily, all staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The staff were so attentive, taking the kids order within minutes of sitting down. The kids meals arrived and two happy children. The main courses were great, exceeded expectations. The lamb shish was cooked perfectly. All in all, an excellent experience and yet another family friendly, local business in worthing. Will 100% be back and have already recommended

Abysmal portion size for the price, delivery took a while unsure if that was fault of just eat or the restaurant

Brilliant food, drinks & lovely staff.

The sweet potato fries are soggy. The whole meal is cold, particularly the chips and sweet potato fries. The coleslaw is way too tart, extremely sharp, has bubbles in it (is it fresh?) and not at all creamy. The Worthing burger is tasty but the bun is completely soggy, so not terribly impressed, especially at that price!!

We have been to Fernando’s many times, and this time took a group of 11-12 year olds for a birthday dinner. The staff were amazing and very patient with the group. The children’s eyes were certainly bigger than their bellies with the fabulous portion sizes. We’ll definitely return again!

It is usually very good from here but on this occasion the two quarter chickens came marinated in hot seasoning and not the lemon and herb mild one. The people it was for do not like spicy food so they had minimal dinner. Shame. We will order from here again but its disappointing the meal wasnt what was ordered.

Kids meal is advertised as coming with ice-cream... didn't come with the ice cream. Kids portions are small for the price, especially if no pudding is included. The avo & quinoa salad is very hit & miss. 1st time was fab, 2nd time... not so much

They left onions in when I requested they be taken out. Good besides that.

The amount I paid vs what I actually got was honestly pitiful….I ordered two coke zeros and was given 1 bottle….have ordered from fernandos many a time and the extra I was charged for sweet potato fries and halloumi fries vs what arrived was an absolute joke. Considering we order from them regularly and to see the drop in standard is a real shame

The welcome and service were second to none. This man is surely the nicest guy in worthing. Since our previous visit I thought the food was not as good as on previous visits. Other guests seemed content enough, and the food was OK, just not great.

My teen daughter went with her friends she said all the food was amazing and good for their price range. She also said the man there was very sweet and welcoming def recommend :) also the restaurant being halal is even better as it meant all her friends could go I am looking forward to going myself

Awesome Lunch! Me and the other half popped into Fernando's Grill today! It's was beautiful! I had calamari to start, high was breaded not battered and cooked perfectly! The other half had taziki which he scoffed down ( no photos I'm afraid we were too hungry! ) Then for mains the hubby had ribeye, cooked medium rare - it was spot on! I had salmon steak which was again was lovely! The ingredients tasted so fresh, the service was warm and friendly! Same to say its our favourite place to eat!

We had a party of six on our way to a gig so it was a bit of a rushed meal and just a main course each. However it was superb. Service was amazing with a smile, hats off to the front of house! Definitely need to come back for a three course! Great location next to the bars as well!!

We had a fabulous lunch at Fernando's. The food is outstanding, freshly prepared and piping hot. (The moussaka is the best I've ever had). Really friendly staff with a warm welcome and fast service. I can't recommend enough you try it for yourself. 10/10

I went to eat at this restaurant after 4 years. I was extremely disappointed with taste and quality of food as compared with my previous experience. The food was tasteless and not good value for the money to pay. The only good thing i can say was the very pleasant nice African lady. I will not ever go there again or recommend it.

We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our table and brought us a jug of iced water along with the menu. There's a good choice of dishes available and the prices seemed to be reasonable. Our food arrived in good time and again served by friendly staff. Overall a good experience.

One of the best place in Worthing and surrounding! Delicious food, very good portions and not as pricey as you would think, buying main two sides comes with it! My experience over the years just getting better and better! Owner always around very professional and friendly staff! Location just couple minutes walking distance from the Worthing sea side! Been going there from the day they open and will continue as they have best chicken wings and T-bone stake!

Great food, attentive service. Calamari was divine, delicious sauce with schnitzel plus good chips. Will definitely be back soon.

Had a birthday meal on 4th august 2023 for my girlfriends 50th birthday and we was looked after by Mickey and his staff . The food was amazing and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely return as we all had a great time . Well done Fernando’s 👍

Yeah kinda mediocre compared with other grill places in Worthing. Unfortunately the quality does not match the price which puts you down on ever eating there again. There is no AC in so all the smoke from the grill will come on you. We ordered a platter and drinks. The service was not bad tho.

Cold chips they were like rubber cold rice ! The salad looked like it had been sat out in the sun for a week and the spicy mayonnaise wasn’t very spicy will not be ordering from here ever again.

Burger was so dry and nearly inedible, could do with sort of sauce,couldn’t even taste the Halloumi, chips were ok, both me and my partner both were unhappy with our meal for the price

I placed my order and it got delivered late.After delivery the chicken was burnt and had some green paste on it.Called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone told me that the meat wasnt burnt because he is the one who prepared,told him i took a photo and he went on to say i need to bring the order back,told him i wasnt feeling well thats why i ordered delivery and he said he cant help in that case.And here i am left with no food to eat tonight.Thats was very rude of them.

I held back leaving this review because the service was so good but unfortunately the food and lack of air conditioning meant they lost stars. It may be ok during not so hot days but when its summer and scorching hot outside, its definitely not any cooler inside. It made us very uncomfortable. The chicken wings were very nice, as were the calamari and olives and the garlic bread. However, we were disappointed by the mains. The ribeye steak was a decent size with a good amount of marble fat. However, my medium cooked steak was charred all over on the outside and overcooked on the inside. The steak also lacked flavour, probably because it was overcooked and charred. We ordered 3 steaks to the table and all 3 were the same. The peppercorn sauce was really nice and the chips and mushrooms were good too. We also ordered the mixed shish (lamb and chicken).. it was a decent sized serving but the shish pieces were a little dry. Again, in my opinion overcooked. We ordered 2x spagetti bolognese's and again, good portion sizes and with plenty of mince in the bolognese. The only thing I would say is the tangy flavour was a bit too strong and became a bit too much the more you ate the dish. Cut back the tangyness and maybe add some bullet chiillies for a little flavoured kicked. The steak dishes were an eye watering £30 each and I can't remember the cost of the other dishes. I wouldn't mention price usually but given we all left feeling let down by the food and paid well, I felt I should mention it. Either the food needs to change or prices should. I do appreciate its a large establish and will have high outgoing costs. I do hope you take this as constructive criticism and maybe review the menu dishes and cooling in the restaurant. The staff were really friendly, very polite and keen to help. Absolutely no complaints at all and I definitely would go back if they acknowledge this review.

First time visiting Fernando's as we were looking to have a nice steak. Good choice of food and our steaks were excellent (and served quickly). Would definitely recommend and we'll be coming back.

It was nice there. I had a grilled spice chicken with chips it was nice but my wife ordered grilled sea ​ ​ bass with rice it was too much lemon and did not taste the fish.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Fernando's. I had spicy wings, cheese pasta, with Mexican wrap and butterfly burgers with Pina colada. Considering the quality, the price is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Worthing. The service is unmatched. The staff is very friendly and truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths.Highly recommend! All my family with guests from Germany loved the food here thoroughly. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.

Absolutely fantastic meal with me and my partner, had the fillet steak - medium rare, and the king of fernandos burger and they were absolutely fantastic - cooked to perfection, well seasoned and the basting butter was beautifully sauted with garlic and rosemary smelt divine. The cocktails were fab we had purple rain and pina cola both were very cleverly balanced and tasty... Looking forward to coming back absolutely top notch meat

Very disappointed and even mentioned to the staff how unhappy I was with my burger. Convinced the burger was precooked and then reheated in the microwave. It was extremely hot especially in the centre which is a giveaway clue. It was overcooked and very dry another clue. The cheese cake was bought in and could even be supermarket bought. Very bland an uninteresting. We were the only people in the restaurant and as the meal progressed it was clear the staff wanted to go home even though it was only around 8.30pm. The town was dead and it was a shame as our meal wouldn't have covered the electricity bill. Would we go back again, no don't think so. Because of the poor quality of the food would not be sure it would be better if they had been busy. The meal was so unappetising that we didn't even bother to take pictures.
