Had an amazing dinner at Fenix. The food was amazing and really extraordinary. Thank you to our servers Gabby and Joe for guiding us through a beautiful evening and providing great service.

Had a lovely experience at fenix restaurant, the food was amazing and our server Issy was brilliant. Would definitely recommend to others.

Unfortunately we had to wait half a hour to be seated for our food . I had booked a table for 9:30pm for 3 people a month in advance. When we arrived we were asked to find a seat around the bar area and get a drink whilst we waited for a table. We sat down and had to ask various different members of staff when our table would be ready. After waiting almost 15 minutes after our reservation time we asked another member of staff when our table would be ready and we were told that a table wasn’t available for us yet. We were finally seated at 9:55pm our reservation was at 9:30pm. When we were seated we were put next to the wine fridge so for the duration of the meal we had staff members coming past us to get bottle of wine from there. The food was nice and the waitress we had called Lydia was lovey. Just a shame the vibe of the night was hindered by the table being over half a hour late with no apologies of anyone. With it being a higher end restaurant we expected better service. Very disappointed.

Furious about how overpriced this place was. I agree that the restaurant is on the higher end but the food is not worth it at all. The food prixe markup was not even worth what they offer both in quantity and taste. We ordered sea bass to share which came upto £75 for just a small sea bass!! We left there really hungry and dissatisfied. Would not visit again.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here but the KEY PIECE is the DJ. We came on a Saturday night and he honestly blew us away with the mix, he just transforms the energy to another level

Booked here for my partners birthday on a busy saturday night. Fanstastic decor and plenty of staff. I couldn't knock the service at all The food was nice, just nice. Didn't reach the standards I would expect for the prices. £45 each for a few pieces of steak and nearly £10 for what are basically unseasoned potato wedges. I wouldn't consider the menu authentically Greek The music was loud, which for me is not conducive for a good restaurant atmosphere, I found myself shouting throughout the whole evening. It was probably the time we visited but we struggled to move around the restaurant to go to the toilet etc, because of how nice the place is, there would be a photoshoot every 3 meters you'd have to queue to pass. We didn't have any cocktails, though they looked impressive, and opted for a bottle of Greek white wine which was great.

Stopped by for dinner without a reservation that evening up arriving to Manchester. The atmosphere of this place was thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is very well put together. The staff were on point and attentive. The bar tender was a great guy to chat with while we waited for a table. The waitress was very helpful in navigating the menu. The food was fresh and excellent quality. From the fresh pita with hummus to the main dishes we ate wanting to name each bite with how good the food was. This was what I would call Greek fusion style and it was love at first bite.

Liam was our server and he was absolutely incredible. He was very helpful, professional, warming and great in helping us out with the menu. GET THAT MAN A RAISE!!!!

Kieran made our night, he was so accommodating and we had a laugh with him. Fenix is lucky to have him!

Was mine and my partners first time in Manchester and first restaurant we tried was so lovely. We had the pleasure of being served by Kieran who looked after us. The service was good, he was very nice and kept checking on us. Would definitely come here again, food was amazing too.

Service was really excellent and professional, food , especially the main courses were delicious, as we were a large group its always difficult to get it hot to everyone and my main was cold when served . I urge everyone to try this restaurant, the decor was put together in great detail and made a welcoming atmosphere. Reception desk too were very helpful with coats and that set the scene.

Had a great night at Fenix for a girls night out - the food was delicious, the drinks are amazing, the atmosphere was buzzing, and service was incredible (thanks to Fabiana!) Will definitely be returning

The guy at the door was extremely rude, as as soon as we paid the bill, we were waiting for our cab to arrive and my girlfriend didnt have a jacket and he asked us to wait outside in the rain and refused to let us wait inside. Bad hospitality, no basic decency.

Lydia looked after our table all night and we are not the easiest bunch, she was polite, fantastic and really lovely. We had a table of 8 with lots of orders and she didn’t put a foot wrong, so this review is 5 stars x 8! We will be back due to the service

This place is a joke! interior is fine however, there is nothing greek about it!. Kids tables and chairs, overpriced blunt food...not enjoyable at all... i would never recommend this place to anyone

My partner and I dined at Fenix last night whilst visiting Manchester. We shared the Greek Nostos taster menu and thoroughly enjoyed every dish- our favourites being the spicy meatballs and the beef paccheri. Fabiana provided fabulous service and recommended a lovely white Greek wine. Could not recommend enough. Thank you.

It’s been a while trying to get booked in here and WOW, well worth the wait! We visited last night (Friday) for my partner’s pre birthday meal and loved every aspect! The decor is beautiful and really makes you feel like you are in Greece. The staff are exceptional and so polite throughout. As for the food, we couldn’t fault anything. So full of flavour and well cooked. The Ivy has been our favourite restaurant since it opened, however, this place has knocked spots of them! See you in November for my birthday!!!

The dress code was smart casual and I wore the drippiest plain black cargos and smart shirt and was denied entry, when I already had a booking also. So it was cancelled and charged me £40 ? No shame. How u expect people to enjoy your restaurant when your all outfit watchers and clearly no diversity within your team…. In the city centre… shame.

We visited Fenix yesterday for my fiancé birthday. We were greeted by friendly welcoming staff who offered us clock room service which was much appreciated as in typical Manchester fashion it was raining. We were then offered the choice of having a drink and the beautiful feature bar downstairs but opted to go straight to our table. The restaurant is charmingly themed and decorated with a particularly nice scent that is obviously piped throughout the building. We were greeted at the table by our waiter for the afternoon Kieran who was polite, friendly and helpful. I had contacted the restaurant prior to discuss my gluten intolerance and Kieran directed me to a bar code I could scan for details re the menu and intolerances but also discussed he could talk me through anything and ask the chief if items could be amended which was super helpful. We ordered a couple of the interesting cocktails to kick things off that didn’t disappoint and moved on swiftly to ordering from A la carte menu. We ordered a range of different things including rib eye steak and wagyu pasta, several other smaller dishes. The food was fresh, seasoned well and to a good standard. Particular stand outs for me were the Mykonian salad the tomatoes were so sweat and juicy with a very well-balanced dressing that brought a real freshness and zing. The side dish of potatoes with the cheese mousse again surprised me with how a simple dish well executed can really make a meal. Kieren informed me that unfortunately most of the deserts were not available in a gluten free option however he would speak with the Chief and they deconstructed the chocolate creme brulee crumble for me (removed the crumble bit) it was absolutely outrageous, sweat, smooth, rich I could have eaten five portions and it was finished off with a scoop of coffee ice crème which again balanced the dish perfectly. Finally, Kieran brought my Fiancé a light and fresh sorbet with happy birthday in cholate writing which was a nice touch considering I hadn’t asked for anything to be done. I didnt take many pictures of the food as to be honest I was enjoying it to mych and couldnt be bothered. We really enjoyed our visit we thought the bill was fair including the service charge considering how good Kieran was and quality of the food. The only feedback I would give is if it would be possible to have a gluten free option for some of your deserts for example the crumble or tart it would be much appreciated, but otherwise great job guys we would come again, Thank you.

We have looked forward to visiting this new Greek inspired restaurant. We had the set menu, which was a delicious mix of small plates. It is a very expensive experience so be prepared.

Where do I begin ….. the food was great I personally went for a delicious Meze dish called Moussaka . Our server Issy was an absolute gem ! She was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for food and drinks , they didn’t disappoint! . We will definitely be returning in the near future.

I was initially a little worried that the atmosphere was all wrong for a smart meal out, low lighting and a DJ and a very Instagram addicted crowd. The restaurant is upstairs and it's excellent, a more relaxed atmosphere, great staff and food

I visited Fenix for the first time for my birthday and wow ! The aesthetic and design is amazing! The waiter Andrea was incredibly nice and helpful which made my birthday experience much more enjoyable and pleasant. The food options were limited however the drinks quality were amazing! Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Shoutout to Andrea for being amazing!

We had THE most wonderful evening last night. Was 20 of us. Seven from my firm & 13 from our 3 favourite clients. Everyone one went home VERY happy. Excellent food, superb service and a great vibe. Highly recommend

The decor is beautiful and the meze dishes we tried were amazing. Have to give a shout out to the Moussaka in particular it was so delicious. Can also recommend the myconian salad & meatballs. I was even impressed with the Greek white wine. Loved it

Nice restaurant, good for taking Instagram photos. The food was good. Portions size is what you expect for a tapas experience. Kieran, our server was friendly and entertaining. Very helpful with explaining how many dishes would suit our party. Choose wisely, or it could turn out very expensive.

I am honestly surprised by all of the great reviews. Everything was a rush. There was a delay to be sat down. As soon as we finished our main courses, we were asked if we’d like a dessert, instead we ordered another drink. It was our anniversary as we had mentioned to the concierge, it appeared that a sorbet and the glass of champagne was being offered to couples in the same situation, we were not offered that compliment. Maybe it would have taken too long for them to serve it. Moments after the drinks had been served we were advised that as there were 200 more guests waiting to dine that evening, we would need to pay the bill straight away as the table was needed back. I had called a few weeks earlier and asked whether a tasting menu could be done vegan; I was advised that it would not be a problem. When we arrived, we were told that there was no way that any of the menus could be vegan, and we would have to go à la carte. We ordered one of everything off the vegan menu having been told initially to use the app, which unfortunately did not work. The team all seemed very stressed throughout our service. The food we had was very nice, our server, Liam was very helpful, given the circumstances. Note: it was 20 minutes after we were due to done that our table was ready and it was 70 minutes into our meal that we were told that they needed our table to seat new diners. Rushing diners through what should be a fine dining experience indicates to me that its profit over guest experience that is the priority here. Several friends in Hale and Alderley Edge had warned us about the chaotic atmosphere. Maybe it’s just not for us.

The best service we have ever had at a restaurant by Joseph! It was our first anniversary, he was polite, kind, well spoken, made the right recommendations and overall provided the best service. He deserves a triple bonus and I wish every waiter would give us the same service wherever we dine. Thank you for making our 1st anniversary feel special

First time coming to Fenix with my friend, we will definitely return!! The atmosphere is so nice, the interior is stunning and the food is incredible!! So tasty! Also the staff are all lovely, our server Issy was so attentive and gave us some good laughs too, she definitely made our visit! 10/10 would recommend

We visited Fenix Restaurant and Bar for a birthday celebration. It’s a newly opened restaurant in Manchester, and we were quite excited, especially after seeing all the promotions and beautiful pictures on their social media. The staff were friendly, but the restaurant was very busy, and it seemed like they were a bit short-staffed. However, the interior design and ambiance were amazing. As for the food, we really enjoyed the starters, but we were disappointed with the mains. They were expensive and didn’t taste as good as we had hoped. The cocktails were also a bit pricey. Overall, it’s a great place for Instagram-worthy photos, but there’s room for improvement with the food.

The food was great and the aesthetic was unreal, the food was served quickly, I recommend this place to anyone visiting, great for vegetarians too!
