An incredible restaurant, like a piece of beautiful Greece in the center of Manchester) Friendly waiters, original and stylish interior and of course the main thing - unique cuisine. I definitely recommend it as a place for family vacations and romantic dates for two))

Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations, and we felt it was overpriced for what it was. The pita bread was fresh and had a nice texture, but there was a bit too much flour on it. The chicken souvlaki was underwhelming and lacked the flavor we were hoping for. That said, the Ribeye steak we ordered was beautifully cooked and well-seasoned, so credit where it’s due. One downside we couldn’t ignore was a noticeable odor near the stairs and downstairs area, which was slightly reminiscent of a toilet. It’s something we saw mentioned in other reviews as well, and it did affect our overall experience. All in all, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Excellent food and service. Max was really wonderful and very friendly! Only thing was we were bit disappointed with the wait to get the tables even though we have made a reservation. Apart from that excellent experience!

Overall an excellent restaurant! My wife and I were visiting the city from the USA and found this place on Instagram and decided to check it out. From the start, the hosts were very friendly and we were blown away by how nice it looked on the inside. Once seated, we enjoyed a plethora of small plates and main courses all based on the recommendation of Kyriakos! Kyriakos had so much knowledge of the menu and explained every dish to us. His recommendations for both food and drinks left us fully satisfied with everything we ate so much so that we plan to dine here again before we leave to go back home from our vacation. Thank you to Kyriakos and the whole Fenix staff for making our first dining experience in Manchester one we will always remember. Went in for cocktails on Saturday night with my daughter, our server was Cameron L! What a lovely and friendly person he is. The bar got very busy and he took everything in his stride and had a smile on his face for everyone, despite some customers being quite demanding and impatient. I will definitely be coming in again soon 😁

We were entertaining clients, so all areas of this needed to be of high standard, and I can confirm Fenix delivered across all areas. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was friendly & attentive but not overbearing, the food was incredible, the drinks were amazing, and the restaurant just has such a relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

We had great service from the waitresses no issues with that. The issue is regarding the food. Firstly in my opinion it is not worth the price for the portion you get. I wanted to make it a special night for my girlfriend as it was her birthday. She ordered the spicy meatballs and whilst eating them she unfortunately realised they were pink, at this point she had already eaten a significant amount. We made one manager aware and he was apologetic and asked if we would like anything else but my girlfriend was already put off at this point and refused anything else. Another manager assisted us named Spyros I believe. He told us they were meant to be “medium rare” and it was steak mince they used. It doesn’t say anything about this on the menu. In fairness they did knock the bill down and he was very apologetic even offering us a desert on the house which we declined. Unfortunately my girlfriend has been sick three times today and had her crying on me as she genuinely feels horrible. We had to cancel her birthday meal tonight and come home earlier than what we would have liked. She is now bed bound looking very pale. I don’t like doing these reviews as I don’t want to shame anyone, if anything this is some feedback for the chefs to ensure that the food they are serving is safe to eat because I can assure you they did not take the temperature for these meatballs. This is just our experience and obviously won’t be the same for everyone.

The food was really nice but the highlight was the taramasalata that we had to start with fresh pita! It must have been air whipped as it was so creamy and delicious. Our server Ibby was friendly and nice. Knocked one star off as we were charged for cocktails that were supposed to be complimentary for Mother’s Day so it was a good job we checked the bill closely. Also think that some of the staff need nicer footwear as the dirty, scuffed white trainers some of them are wearing ruins the lovely uniforms that they have. I think the atmosphere would be nicer in the evenings when young children aren’t running around.

My most recent experience here was awful. The lady serving our table (Laura) was very rude and abrupt. We’d sat down and ordered a bottle of wine, 5 minutes after she demanded we chose what we wanted to eat as they had booked another table in after us. ( we’d literally just got there). And as if that wasn’t bad enough, she took dinner plates away whilst we were in the middle of eating and told us we could not order anything else after the mains as they needed the table back… It’s a shame as the food is pretty good, £200 for awful service I will not be back.

Stinks of wee, staff are soo rude. Me and my friend went to the bathroom, were gone for 5 minutes and they tried charging my card x6 time while we were still in the toilet. They charged more than what we had spent on the tab, and when we came back, they had given our table away. We then had to walk over to them, they didn’t come to us. And then told us that they thought we left, and to sit down. No apology, and management walked off from us. Disgusting place and disgusting service. I will never go back and neither should anyone else.

The starters were phenomenal and portion size on them were enough to fill you up on. So like we did we ordered more starters/tasters bar me getting the steak and at first I thought it came with sides but it was just the steak which wasn’t any special. Other than that ambience of the place is lovely. Workers go beyond to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable from Entry at the door to the bar to your table. Exceptional service and our waitress Fabianna was in Fabulous! Very joyful and helpful. Would recommend this place to anybody

the restaurant is beautiful… but the food not so much, what’s greek about it ?

Disappointed with your vegetarian options on the menu. My friends had alot of food 6/7 options in their meal compared to my 2 options. They were really full and food was not eaten by them where as I left still hungry.

We visited Fenix to celebrate my last day in Manchester before moving away, treating myself with a gift voucher purchased for christmas! The food exceeded my expectations! The flavours were outstanding, and the service was top-notch. As first-timers, our waitress, Laura offered some great recommendations, and went ahead with the taster menu! I hate to say it, but the experience is much better than Lucky Cat! Some say it's a little pricey but once you're there, it's worth every penny!

We visited Fenix for a weekend away in Manchester. We got our reservation time wrong which was mortifying but the girls at the front door took our jackets and got us seated on the high chairs upstairs where we could see everything being cooked and prepared by the amazing chefs. We were so grateful for this as we knew we had made the mistake of the reservation timing. The food was incredible, the service was quick and professional, the ambience was lovely. We felt so looked after. It was our first time visiting and I would definitely return. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Fenix was such an amazing experience! Our server Laura was absolutely fantastic and took us through the menu and explained many dishes. I'm vegetarian and she recommended the cauliflower steak which was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! They had a great range of cocktails and the flavours of the food were delicious! I went with a few friends on a Friday evening and absolutely loved the atmosphere! I had a few different sides instead of a main as I’m veggie and wow, everything I had was delicious (especially the potatoes)! We were served by Ibby who was just lovely and really helpful!

Lydia was our server for the night, she was very attentive and the service was absolutely fantastic. We came to open our fast and to celebrate a belated birthday. Would definitely recommend the pitta with houmous, the halloumi cheese tempura, steak tartare, and the chocolate creme brulee. There were a few halal options which was nice, unfortunately the tzatziki (I was really looking forward to this!) as well as the pasta dishes and a few of the desserts had alcohol but our server was kind enough to point this out to us at the start, and helped us with our order to meet our dietary restrictions. The place is absolutely beautiful, slightly pricey as you'd expect but lovely for an occasion and would definitely recommend!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and led to our table. Theo who introduced himself as our waiter was incredible. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Whether it was the tender and juicy Octopus, the fresh seabass, the unbelievably flavoursome aubergine or the complimentary decadent dessert to wish my wife a happy birthday, each bite was a delight. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation was truly impressive. The ambiance was also fantastic—elegant yet inviting, with stylish décor and a lively energy that made the evening feel special. The only minor drawback was the noise level, likely due to the music being a bit loud, which made diners raise their voices to converse. That said, it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Despite the noise, FENIX delivered an exceptional meal with outstanding service. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon!

Fabulous food. Had the set lunch menu and some houmous and pitta bread. Wonderful service from our Greek waiter, Kyriakos. Attended to our requests with a friendly smile and professional interaction. We will return again but will probably not have the pitta and houmous before our starters as we were too full for dessert which looked lovely also. Good quality food; well prepared and beautifully presented. Kyriakos offered for us to have a break- sitting downstairs and having our dessert after resting. Great idea but sadly we had trains to catch. Next time Kyriakos.

I dined at Fenix restaurant yesterday and I loved the overall vibe of the restaurant and bar, Emma was my server and to be quite honest, she was, to say the least, impeccable, Emma is an asset to theirs team, one word, fabulous. Will dine again.
