Felice & Maddalena in City of London, Westminster

Estábamos visitando la iglesia finlandesa en Rotherhithe y queríamos tomar un café rápido y un aperitivo. La iglesia tiene su propio café, pero desafortunadamente está cerrado los lunes y martes, (fuimos un martes). Sin embargo, justo enfrente está este encantador café, que sirve bebidas y alimentos que satisfacen nuestras necesidades. Tiene un ambiente muy agradable y cuando visitamos este mes, las paredes y mesas estaban adornadas con piezas de origami. El lugar parece ser dirigido por la familia e increíblemente amable. A pocos pasos de la estación de Rotherhithe y el cercano Museo Brunel.

Personal muy amable y atento al servicio. No para muchas opciones de comida vegana, pero el personal se preparó para hacer cosas y conseguir opciones de comida. Gran lugar para conocer a los lugareños y creativos y les encantan las exposiciones que apoyan. Cerca de las iglesias finlandesa y noruega en Londres.

Always great food - you can choose your own fillings from the deli for your pannini/baguette/ciabatta/wrap/roll. Always tasty. The homemade soup is fresh each day, always vegetarian, and always good. They have pizza slices, pasta dishes too. The coffee is well-roasted, and well prepared. The owners - Maddalena & Felice are friendly, chatty and welcoming. There are regular art exhibitions on the walls, and many customers are regulars (as are we!!). It is incredibly good value for money.

I work nearby and I think "Deli Felice" is a really cool place to hang out. The sandwiches and pasta are reasonably priced and you can always have a good chat with the owners and other clients. There are also art exhibitions from time to time. I can't recommend this place enough.

The main thing about this place is the genuine friendliness and warmth of owners. Always helpful, always accomodating. It feels Ike a mediterranean deli, measning that its definitely'budget", but not fake in any way,everything carefully thought out by the owners. As a result of this, they have a lot of repeated custom. It feels like a 'safe' place, and in this particular neck-of-the-woods that's a very important asset,.

Yo vivo cerca y encontramos. El ambiente es muy agradable y dentro se sentirá que las visitas de la familia. El personal es muy amable. Yo tenía un café que era bueno y fácilmente podría haber sentado allí todo el día. También hacer leche de soja.

I visited the cafe for the first time this afternoon with my wife and daughter. We had coffee and a pannini. The food was nice, staff are friendly and prices are very reasonable. We will be returning.

Popped in during a visit to the Finnish Church, and enjoyed a hot drink.The cafe is spacious, and has interesting local art and craft on display, as well as Mayflower - related items.Friendly service.

OK...but no better. No WiFi, hard chairs and strange coffee cups with hard to use handles. Nice music...might go back and try the food. This is a competitive market and they'll find it hard.

Had a superb lunch at this lovely and very friendly cafe. Penne with garlic bread and salad was delicious and exceptional value. Service could not be friendlier. Highly recommended

Yo y mi marido casi todos los sábados visita siempre nos saludaba con una sonrisa la pareja que lo lleva es muy amable y la comida es deliciosa. También tienen muchos pasteles y hot n bebidas frías y mucho más recomiendo encarecidamente una visita 10 / 10

Love going here for a nice bite to eat and a coffee have a great chat so welcoming I class them more as friends now than just a cafe

Really, really love this place. Run by a friendly italian couple who are passionate about food and art. They also sell great products, e.g. pasta and the best risotto rice I have ever had. There is seating outside which is lovely in summer. They host little exhibitions and poetry evenings by local people. Highly recommended.

This charming café is located in a row of shops close to Rotherhithe Overground Station and several bus routes. The menu is simple and represents great value for money. My homemade pasta meal came with garlic ciabata bread and cost a mere £4.80. there is a also a good selection of sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks. The café is also a community gallery and I enjoyed the current photographic exhibition on show. There are also armchairs at the front of the shop and outside seating. The atmosphere was relaxing with a jazz soundtrack playing that added to the ambience. There is one unisex toilet for customers. The equally charming owners were polite and friendly ensuring that I will return when I am next visiting the area.

What a nice little find, in South London not far from surrey quays this nice little deli/ bistro, home cooked food in a friendly atmosphere. The owners Felice and Maddalena work very hard to produce good food and make sure their customers enjoy their visit.I have been back a few times now and find it a nice relaxing place to meet friends for a chat, hidden in the Scandinavian quarter of the borough of Bermondsey, close to the Finnish and Swedish churches, this little deli displays the work of local artists and Felice is an Art curator himself.Great food, friendly atmosphere and well worth a visit when you are in the area.
