Wasn't a very pleasant experience. The lady serving had no customer service skills nearly hitting my husband in the face with the menu she shoved over his shoulder. I ordered a macchiato that wasn't even half a teaspoonful deep. We didn't bother to eat there in the end. Very unwelcoming. Coffee was nice in the end but no customer service skills.

Stopped by for lunch with friends. Really nice place and uncomplicated menu. Everyone enjoyed their food. Well cooked well presented and fast service.

The food was excellent, with a good choice, generous portions and very well priced. We had brunch on a rainy Saturday morning. You can’t pre-book so your name is added to a list. It didn’t take too long to get a table. The staff weren’t stressed even though it was very busy. They were all friendly and efficient. We would recommend this lovely cafe on Marlow High Street.

It was very busy for a weekday, we had to wait outside for a table to become available. I ordered the full vegan breakfast, which on the menu is described as “peri peri oyster mushrooms, spring onion & chipotle waffle, grilled peppers, smashed avocado, charred sweetcorn, vegan aioli & coriander w/ chipotle and roast tomato salsa”. What I got was all of those ingredients mixed together in a tomato sauce on top of a dry waffle, which was a shame. I wanted to taste each of the individual components but the overwhelming flavour was of the tomato salsa. My husband had the South African breakfast and felt the chakalaka was under seasoned and the portion was too small for the price. I also had a juice which was very tasty but small for the £6 price.

Absolutely a good place to enjoy breakfast. Greeted warmly, service was great and food delicious. Excellent value unlike a nearby iconic hotel. Would definitely go back.

It is heading toward the really pricey side when a cafe's English breakfast (without hash browns- £2.50 extra) and a drink is £20 per person, including the tip. The service was good and the ingredients were of high quality, hence the 4 stars- the breakfast at Cote in Marlow is better and cheaper though.

We love Fego one of our favourite places in Marlow. Our goto place for a quick brunch, breakfast or lunch. My favourite is the avocado breakfast and my daughter’s favourite is the chicken strips. Chai late is the best in Marlow and the coconut cake. The staff are amazing, they treat you like family always happy to see us.

Had the 'ranchero' speciality breakfast, I do enjoy my food and this is hands down the tastiest brekkies I've ever had. Well worth a visit and reasonably priced for the Marlow area

Service was very good and the waitress was helpful when I asked about vegan options. However, £2.95 for one medium sized flat mushroom and £1.50 for half a grilled tomato was taking the micky! Honestly, I could not believe my eyes when I saw the price on the bill for what was on my plate! We’d been staying at Danesfield House in Marlow and for £5.00 you can have two side dishes! So come on FEGO, be reasonable! I wish I’d taken a photo, tbh.

Four of us called in for lunch today and we all enjoyed it. Goats cheese salad, Superfood salad and Meatballs with hummus were all delicious. Pleasant staff and prompt service.

Stopped here for brunch as the menu choice looked great. I ordered pancakes with Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit which was very disappointing - it was served with an extremely small pot of yoghurt (as in a spoonful) and a tiny portion of fruit (1 chopped strawberry, probably not quite half a banana and about 6 blueberries!) . Very disappointing which is a shame as the menu made it sound far better.

Really good brunch. So flavoursome and pleasant setting. Varied menu and can’t wait to go back. The orange juice was very fresh and Mediterranean breakfast perfect for being filling and flavoursome

This Has to be the most expensive coffee shop in existence. The price of coffee is absolutely extortionate and a very small slice of cake ….and I do mean small …they charge £4.50. for. Such profiteering should be banned …..it really should . Service is average as is the place itself….and the toilets filthy. My advice is to give this place an extremely wide berth as it is simply a giant rip off.

I can’t fault the food here… I’ve been several times over the last month but sadly the service lets this place down. It’s busy, I get they are under pressure, but a smile can go a long way. We arrived and joined the queue yesterday. I was told it would be around 10 minutes… so I asked do we come back ? No you wait outside and if I call your name and if you’re not there you lose your slot, it’s first come first served. Charming ! The delivery of this needs to be worked on We were called within 10 minutes, and taken in with another couple. They were asked which table they would like… the host then pointed at the table next to it and said “that’s yours” 😳🤦🏻‍♀️ If the food wasn’t so good I would have left at this point. 15 minutes in we called a waitress over to order… she was pleasant. Food was delicious. We paid and left.

Me and my husband were on a short visit to Marlow and fancied somewhere different to eat. As we went by Fego we noticed it looked quite popular so tried our luck. We were greeted with a smile, seated promptly and offered the menu. The drinks order was taken first and were served fairly swiftly and this was followed by the food order that was all cooked fresh. I opted for poached eggs with sourdough toast amd a side of mushroom and tomatoes and my husband ordered smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs, all was served and cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend a visit if you can!!

My husband and work colleague visited here today. They were made to feel like second class citizens. They were ignored and made to feel very uncomfortable. After being kept waiting while all around were being served, they helped themselves to a menu. Even the smelly dog on the floor nearby got paid more attention. Breakfast was ok, but they had the audacity to charge service……when none was shown. The reason for this shocking behaviour by Fego……..they are working class men wearing work clothes. It was snobbery at its best. Shame on the girl that behaved like this, and shame on Fego. I wonder if this is standard behaviour…..would love to hear if it is

Wow! Delicious and wholesome lunch. We had the Plant based burger with sweet potato fries, and Vietnamese chicken strips in a lemongrass and ginger sauce with fries. Our drinks were a tropical smoothie and a strawberry milkshake with whipped cream. We were visiting Marlow, from SE London for my husband’s birthday where this birthday lunch was 10/10. The staff attended to every detail and gave my husband a piece of vegan cake as a lovely gesture for his birthday. You won’t be disappointed.

On a busy saturday me and my partner were seated within 10 minutes. Service was really good and all staff, especially our waitress was very nice. The ice coffee and cocktails we both had were lovely. We both ordered 2 full englishes and the portion was really good and so was the quality.

Ordered lunch at Fego this week and was a little underwhelmed. The food prices were as expected for Marlow, and the menu looks great but I think we were unlucky time to receive food as the eatery was so busy. A simple order of 4 items took about 20 mins , whilst the drinks on the same order were out fast. Finally the food quality was just a little ordinary - I had the salmon bagel and the bagel was very bready vs a good authentic bagel. Nice food but not quite as expected. Perhaps when we are able to find in in May things will be better.

this café offers really comfortable seating with free unlimited Wi-Fi which is quick. The staff here are all really friendly and attentive, and respond to requests very well.normally the café can get quite busy and the staff work really well under pressure, and don't show that they're stressed. The food here is always top-notch, despite being slightly expensive I would still say it is completely worth it whether you are coming here on your own or taking some friends out for a family gathering. what I would advise against it sitting in the conservatory area during summer as it does get really hot when the Sun is shining.

Just passing through and decided to stop for a coffee. Saw the menu, and we both like the look of the chicken burger. This is the best tasting and value chicken burger I have ever tasted. Can't say anymore than that, except the chips were also great. Will definitely be visiting again.

A lesson in how to transition to takeaway! We’ve enjoyed Fego’s fabulous brunches ‘Pre-COVID’ but have now experienced how brilliantly they have set up for takeaway.Same great spicy eggs, and same great granola, but served as attractive, fully recyclable Fego2Go. Great job guys, thank you!

Fabulous burger and chips takeout! We had 3 different burgers, fried chicken, BBQ beef short rib, beef and goats cheese. Each was delicious; beautiful buns, amply filled and crispy chips. Ordering online was easy and pick up efficient. Also got a babka bun and a brownie, looked and tasted too good to leave! Also do delivery. Will go again!

Great brunch. We’re gradually trying the whole brunch menu, we always get a takeaway/delivery as it’s a bit busy inside. Every time my family visit Marlow they ask that we get a treat Fego brunch on Sunday morning. Great milkshakes too.

A lovely little place on Marlow high street. Breakfast cooked very nicely , chain restaurants breakfast just can’t compete. Pastries are not so nice , more like what you brought from tesco and heated up .

Great brunch as always. First time coming since Covid, they have reorganised their tables so there’s more distancing. It’s still very busy as always so you need to give your name inside then they’ll give you a shout when the table is free- you have to wait outside. Only issue is that It was really cold today so every time the door Is opened you get an icy blast coming in. Food was fabulous as always. My absolute favourite brunch place. Lunch is great here too but it’s so busy it’s better to come earlier. I had the ranchero and my partner had full English. There’s such much choice it’s hard to pick! Coffee is lovely. It’s always busy but that’s a sign the food is great! Will be back.

Stopped off for a quick breakfast before a walk along the river path. My partner had the Ranchero Breakfast & it was really good, a decent sized portion too. I had avocado on toast with poached egg and this was also a decent sized serving. Coffee was good and hot and the staff were very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this cafe to others.

This was our first time here and the guidelines on where tk queue were unclear, I’m 9 months pregnant and tried to stand out of the way in the doorway but was told abruptly to stand out in the street until they’d cleaned our table. We waited a good 10 mins and once in I had to keep trying to get their attention to order. The menu is good in variety but when the food and drinks were brought over they were shoved down and it was difficult to get anyone’s attention for sauces or anything. Very much in and out, not much of a treat unfortunately.

We ate here for brunch on a Tuesday morning. It was very busy which is always a good sign! We sat outside and were served quickly. The fresh juice is refreshing and the coffee was good. I highly recommend the fluffy pancakes with bacon, banana and maple syrup- only downside was there could have been more syrup (haha). The pancakes were fluffy and I left feeling extremely satisfied. My partner had the full English and was very impressed, tomatoes were very fresh. We ate here on the eat out to help out scheme, however we would have happily paid full price for this brunch.

The food was quite standard and the salad leaves in my Goats cheese salad were not very fresh. This was my first experience of eating out again as I work in a care home and I have been very cautious. I did not feel reassured when I joined my friends at the outside table. The staff are not wearing masks and on this basis stand far too close, as far as I could see they were not behaving any differently to pre-Covid times. Unfortunately, because my food had already been ordered for me I was stuck. When I enquired by phone after my visit about Fego's policy they said masks are not a government requirement. Since I'm only interested in minimising my risk of passing on to other people particularly elderly Care home residents I will not be eating at Fego again. If you care about the safety of other people and minimising the risk of spreading this virus be aware that this restaurant is choosing not to do this. I want to help businesses out by giving them my custom but I am not prepared to do so if they show such a lack of understanding and concern about the risk to customers and the knock-on effects of this on the overall infection rates.

It seemed as though a lot of things on their menu were unavailable when we went but it was perfectly nice all the same. We all had chicken burgers followed by milkshakes. The burgers were good and the milkshakes fairy standard. We were seated in the conservatory area of the restaurant which, on a hot day I imagine is fine if you’re sat in front of an air con unit. We were not so gradually heated up through the course of lunch until it felt almost as hot as it had been outside. The brunch menu looks pretty good, and seems to be their main seller, I would come back here if I were in the area to try the brunch again

If you want to visit here and have a peaceful brunch or any meal, without being sneered at by staff members when you point out something is wrong, then I'd suggest you save your time and don't go. We ordered a light brunch (Croissants and halloumi wrap) and were met with some odd and pointless comments from one of the waitresses. She didn't let us enjoy our food and made our short time there quite uncomfortable and regrettable.They'll ask you to go to the WiFi and order food from their site but it pointlessly redirects you to their Instagram page.

A lovely brunch venue which adheres to all guidelines post lockdown. The ordering service via the mobile is user friendly and the food choices are a decent variety which caters for all taste buds. Also found a variable nut butter (gingerbread almond) which is amazing!

We have just returned to UK after living in Canada for 10 years. Yesterday we took a trip down memory lane in Marlow and discovered Fego. We had a takeaway Bacon and Sausage Rolls and 2 cappuccinos. Not knowing anything about this place we thought we’d start with a basic takeaway. Wow - it was anything but basic. Delicious bread and fillings. The staff were so friendly and professional. Can’t wait to go there again and try some more exciting things on their menu.

I went in here about 5 years ago and was a little disappointed then, but decided that after that time that I should give it another go. I have to confess, that all was very much the same. The place is very noisy when it is full as there are precious few soft furnishing to absorb the noise. The food, however, was excellent as were the smoothies and the shakes. The staff were lovely and friendly, but the service was slow. Difficult to attract the waitresses attention and it took 15 minutes to just get the tap water for our table and that was only when I chased it up. It is a bright and airy place and I would go back, but they do need to speed up the service.

I can’t believe that I’d not visited Fego Marlow and I’d lived in Marlow for the past 10years! It is our closest coffee shop too, ooopsy.I had a quick coffee with my with mother in law, and their chai latte was exquisite.It was so tasteful and well presented, all be it on a petite size.The menu offered great choices but pricey. I just had deep fried halloumi which was delicious.

Best English breakfast I have ever had! Me and my partner came here for brunch and we could not fault it. Food, juices and the service were lovely! Definitely will be returning when in the area!

It was not difficult to see why this smart/trendy cafe was very busy when we arrived. The menu has a great range of interesting and ‘different’ brunch dishes and all looked really well presented. Ours tasted amazing and we will definitely go back to try out some other dishes soon.

Love this place. Great for brunch or lunch. Loads of different egg choices for brunch and they let me order something from the breakfast menu that I’d seen although if was lunch time. I've been to the Ascot and Sunningdale Fego branches many times, but this was my first visit to the Marlow branch. I see they must have had a rebrand since my last visit and the menu was new, but still many delicious choices. The Marlow interior also looked like it had recently been smartened.The ginger guy who served us was lovely, even pushing the empty table next to us alongside ours to give my friend and her toddler more space to eat.My friend had the avocado and halloumi and said the pesto was great, and I loved my very greedy pancake plate. I'll definitely go back!Extra points for well maintained toilets as this is so rare these days!

Visited again for the first time since the remodel. It's still nice but the food has lost something in the transition. Also the menu is a bit more limited and whilst we still enjoyed lunch I don't think it'll become our regular spot again. Will review again in a few months and see if its improved

I love returning here whenever I come to Marlow. It’s like returning to see friends as the Manageress and team are so warm and friendly.
