Best sandwich shop in Darlington

As a regular visitor to the Redcar Fatso’s, we thought we would try this one as we were in the Darlington area. Portion sizes are far smaller, service felt very rushed and my elderly relative was mis-led as to what sides cost extra and which don’t. Shame, as the actually food was as-expected.

Just ok that’s about it Barely any filling Cakes are the bought in type that last forever in a plastic wrapper, taste like plastic.

Top notch food from lovely friendly staff.

Don't go if want rotten salad not good food service really bad as well

Visit here occasionally with my Son to purchase lunch. Food is always fresh and tasty. Staff are very polite and friendly. Shop always looks clean and tidy. Busy with lots of customers but always enough staff to be served quickly and without a wait.

Salad was rotten and slimey! Anyone in food service would notice this as they served it but they decided to serve it anyway, this place needs to be investigated, I've reported to environmental health

This place is brilliant. You can park nearby, plenty of food to choose from (chicken and sweetcorn on white for me). And friendly service. Its basically what you hope your subway will be like but never reaches this level. I'm a multidrop national delivery driver so I'm not local but I'll deffo be visiting again.

We have just got two salad boxes and the salad is rotten. Lettuce brown, cucumber soft and old, and to top it off the carrot is slimy. The worst salad ever cannot get through in the telephone number to tell them to stop serving it.

Always fresh sandwiches made to your choice and lovely soups.

Love fatos normaly phone order in and get someone to run in and get it as no room for chair and there always busy but nice staff

My boyfriend got severe food poisoning two hours after eating the chicken tikka from your Darlington store. The chicken was red and completely Raw inside, he's been throwing up constantly since and is severely dehydrated. Everyone avoid this fatsos, not to be trusted
