Went to Fat Birds Cafe for Afternoon Tea It is such a friendly warm and inviting place for any occasion or that special celebration Staff are so hardworking, eager to please to make the experience pleasurable My birthday was made even more memorable Food and service second to none Thank you everyone Mrs Hobbs

What a lovely quaint place. Food was fantastic. Staff friendly and helpful. Was with sister in law and sister from Australia and we all said what a lovely place. Will definitely be going back. Thankyou

I wanna start by saying our waitress was lovely. An older lady with short hair and glasses. So friendly and nice . Unfortunately the food was very hit and miss. It took 35 minutes which is a little longer than I’d like but I can live with that. It was busy. My ham and cheese omelette in fairness was quite nice. It came 5 minutes before my wife’s bagel though and we came to eat breakfast together. Her bagel arrived. The thick chewy sausage patty was just about cooked with 2 miserable looking hash browns on a side plate. It was quite blend in taste just felt cooked with a complete lack of love. Then the French toast 🤦🏻‍♂️ check my picture. Have you ever seen less effort and care on a plate of French toast than this? It first came with bacon which I didn’t ask for then came back with salad on it. 😂 The smallest paper portion of syrup. It was soggy and uninspiring. I think the chef in the kitchen needs to fall back in love with his profession.

Been here a couple of times recently for brunch. Whilst the breakfasts themselves are reasonably priced, it’s all the little extras that add up. The ambiance of the place is really good.

Clean tables even though it was busy, friendly staff and a huge menu choice (it took a while to decide) my aunt had a fat birds breakfast which she loved as portions were generous and meat was good quality (she even had the opportunity to talk to the owner about where the meat was sourced as she loves a “good sausage”) I had the breakfast baguette which again was huge and very competitively priced, coffee was lovely too. We will definitely be coming back

Visiting the area for university open day and found this near our hotel . So many veggie options which fantastic for the one veggie in the group. Nice coffee , shakes etc . Definitely revisiting when he’s at uni ! Friendly service .

Very disappointed. Customer service non existent. The waitress was reasonably friendly but we could easily hear the kitchen staff making derogatory remakes about us. Food quality was average but extremely over priced. We will not be returning.

Arguably one of the best places to grab breakfast or brunch. The menu is huge with lots of really quirky interesting options, as well as traditional full English etc. Good vegan & vegetarian options available. This is my third visit & can safely say I’ll be back again, slowly working my way through the menu options! Go you won’t be disappointed!

Really disappointed as had to pay an additional £1.50 for a small breakfast. Price on menu was £8.95 but charged £10.45. When I queried this was told that prices had changed to that shown on menu. Menu prices should be changed if this is the case. I do no eat mushrooms but there was no option to change the choice. Used to love visiting here but will not be going again. So disappointing.

Extremely tasty breakfasts. Can’t get enough of their bacon and the sausages are pretty good too!! Nice to have a choice of sizes of breakfast to suit your appetite. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will visit again soon. :)

We found this place looking to take our daughter out for a big breakfast while visiting. Found after a quick Google search and what a great find!! I had the Mega birds large breakfast. OH had the veggie breakfast and No 1 daughter had the bean mountain. Firstly if you look at the menu and think the MB breakfast is a bit pricey compare it to a mixed grill and think again because that’s what this is!! Amazing sausages bacon eggs and the best fried slice I have ever had so much so that No 1 daughter discovered it for the first time!! OH had a moment where she thought that the Veggie sausage was a meat one as it was so tasty!! Read into that what you will 🤣. Staff were very friendly giving us the heads up of a delay as it was so busy. This was a good sign as you know food is being freshly cooked. Half hour warning delivered in 20 minutes !! Great place will definitely return!

Been here several times in the past. Very unsatisfactory visit on this occasion and I will not be returning. We were seated at a dirty table that was only cleaned when I requested they do so. This was the table they sat us at. Ordered tea and the cup was freezing cold, had to ask for cup to be warmed. Breakfast arrived and no cutlery, had to waive waitress down and ask for cutlery. Menu said breakfast was £8.50. when we came to pay it was £9.95. We queried and were told prices had gone up. No mention of this when seated. Menu on table said £8.50 and absolutely no information to suggest a price increase until payment. Breakfast and a tea was £12.95. wouldn't mind but the breakfast was small and not even filling. Felt ripped off. Will not be returning. Shame as it used to be great place. Not anymore.

Despite having lived in Leamington for 17 years, this was my first visit. My daughter took me and my mum for brunch and we had a wonderful meal. Mum and I had the cooked breakfast and my daughter a halloumi sandwich. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and a very cosy and warm atmosphere. Very much recommended and am looking forward to my next visit!

Great atmosphere inside, never seems to be quiet. Serves the best latte and the bacon and egg sandwich always hits the spot!! Ran by a local person who empowers our younger generation through employment. This is a true local business and will always get my support.. 👍👍
