Nice staff with large sized slices. Pizza is okay. With the ambiance, staff, and sizes, will become a great spot with improve quality.

Try the Saturday special pesto, sundried tomato, chicken. Is awesome. Great service, clean and friendly.

My first trip to Fat Slice will not be my last! The pizza was tasty...just the right crispiness on the crust, a nice sauce, and not too much cheese. My only complaint is that the staff manning the register were not the friendliest folks, but at least they got my order right!!

This is a basic to-go pizza place. Service was fine, and the food is tasty but the pizza slice I got was not heated.

This place sucks as bad as Blondie's which is right across the street. The pizza is exactly the same as Blondie's which leads me to believe they have the same owners or the owner of Fat Slice used to work at Blondie's. Fluffy undercooked dough, horrible sauce and cheap cheese. To the owners of Fat Slice, please retire. Thank you.

The pizza is still the same and good as it was when I was there many years ago as a student. Keep up the good work, do not change

It seems like Fat Slice has been around forever. I went there all of the time as a kid and go there now as an adult when I'm in town. If you're a pizza fan and in Berkeley, stop in here or at Blondie's just up the street. Fat Slice does not have the nicest dining area, but I'm not above standing at the counter while I enjoy my slice.

Loved eating here when I was in college and I had wonderful memories of my group of friends grabbing a slice whenever we wanted. Finally went back to visit after 9 years of being away and I was pleasantly surprised that it hasn't changed. It still has the same vibe and college feel it had back when I was there. My boyfriend loved the place and is already itching for another visit next time we go up.

This place rules. I've been going here for years. A huge thick slice and drink are super cheap. It's open late as well.

Two things about Fat Slice: 1) always messy. Needs a good full time cleaning person/ bus boy. 2) consistent. We are here on most game days and the slices are hot and consistently good. I soak the grease up with paper napkins and it works for me. Pepperoni is greasy! What can I say? This place is an institution on Telegraph. And consistency is everything in the restaurant biz.

I was excited and shocked to see Fat Slice in the same location it was 20 years ago! Its been forever since I've been there. It is that old gutter punk hang out where you could grab a slice for super cheap and be full. Still has the old feel and I love that about this pizzeria. Is the pizza the absolute best ever? No, but it is great for the money and its exactly like the name, Fat Slice. I love it!

Came here with wife and 10 year old son... The family enjoyed the pizza and we all were satisfied. My boy doesn't mind the greasy pizza but we do so with some napkins we made the pizza not greasy :-). All in all a good fat pizza slice. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the place is super messy - these guys need to clean up after the dirty patrons .... Other than that no complaints.

Well if your looking for a great deal when your hungry Then get yourself on Telegraph Ave in Berekeley for somw Berekeley style pizza.Its handhand the atmosphere inside and out is entertaining!Enjoy!

Fat Slice is always a good value and the pizza ain't bad. Especially good if you are feeding hungry teenagers before a Cal sporting event!

A group of three (I and 2 friends) recently stopped in here when visiting berkeley and ordered a whole pizza (half meat/half veggie). All of the ingredients on the veggie side were fresh and flavorful (they used nice fresh mushrooms - always an important first cut to separate better pizza places from the rest), and the pepperoni and sausage on the meat side were also really good. The pizza was crisp on the bottom and full of cheese and sauce. As pizzas go it is a bit on the greasy side, but certainly full of flavor, and made to order with great ingredients. Shakers with cheese and red pepper flakes are available to shake on the pizza. This would definitely be on my list of good pizza places!Now as for the atmosphere....the chairs in the back are full of character (and by that I mean the carved and written names full of many characters). The tables seem to have a bit of a layer of the grease from the pizza even though they seemed clean.So, overall I would say it's a great piece of pizza, but you may want to take the pizza to go if not having just a slice.

Pizza was great, root beer was cold. What more could I want? Stopped in late night with a friend last week and grabbed a slice of the veggie pizza and a drink - super cheap and more than filling. Really nice toppings and crust - made for the perfect little meal. Will definitely check it out if I find myself in Berkeley again.

I always have to have a FAT SLICE when on Telegraph! I have been eating here as long as I can remember...when we switched long ago from that other place across the street! Yay for the Fat Slice Forever!
