Best ice cream in Lincolnshire we love visiting here on the way back from the seaside it's lovely with lots of seating too

We have visited many times for ice cream or coffee, but we recently stopped for breakfast and it was excellent! The kids breakfast meal is really good value, £6 for a cooked breakfast, a drink (milk or fruit shoot) and a token for an ice cream cone! The rest of our group opted for bacon baps and couldn’t fault them. All very well cooked, and good quality produce. The playground is fantastic if you’re visiting with children and there was even a bouncy castle on the day we visited. We will absolutely be visiting again.

Stopped for an ice cream as had seen a very busy carpark and lots of people going in when we had gone past, the flavours looked exciting and delicious and prices appeared reasonable- However we were very disappointed with the flavour, there appeared to be a severe lack of vanilla in the vanilla, the orange whisky marmalade, tasted like the whole tub had maybe a tablespoon of marmalade through it, coffee was weak, cherry ripple and strawberry flavours were bland and cookies and cream had a lot of ice crystals, all in all a huge shame as did not live anywhere near up to expectations!

We found this little gem on our way into mablethorpe. Stopped for an ice cream then came back next morning for breakfast. Really lovely staff, great food, good prices. There’s a park outside which is perfect for keeping the kiddies amused after they’ve had their ice creams.

Lovely place for families and dogs. Amazing small, large and meat-free breakfasts along with lovely coffee. Good value as well. Nice little farm shop with Fresh strawberries as well.

A lovely setting. Great outdoor area for the children. Some lovely local produce for sale. Unusual lighting made from milking equipment! The full English breakfast was tasty and plenty of butter with the toast! Slightly overcooked though.

Nice place will go again. Lovely choice. Nice staff. In or out eating. Ice-cream was delicious with lots of choices, we need to try the others.

We have been here many time when we have been in the area. The food is good (I always have an all-day breakfast), the ice cream is hand-made with a variety of flavours, they have a mini farm shop, and a well organised play are for the children. It is a must for us every time we come to the Sutton on Sea area.

Popped in twice as staying locally. Choice of about ten different ice creams, no vanilla or chocolate so not your usual flavours. About 6 different cone styles plus the usual tubs, good value and excellent flavour in the ice creams. Blackberry, fig, lemon meringue and white chocolate were all superb. Very busy play area and the staff were trying their best to clean and clear tables. Nice little farm shop with fresh veg and eggs.

Visited here for the first time on holiday. Really enjoyed our breakfast and the staff were very accommodating for our fussy 3 year old who wanted sausages and bread separate to each other instead of as a sandwich 🙈 great play area for kids to play on and our son loved running round. We enjoyed it so much we returned a further 2 times for breakfast and waffles and ice cream which was delicious too. We’ll be back next time we visit our beach hut 😊

We had breakfast and ice cream here and both were lovely. Dogs are allowed outside and there is a children’s play area which my 2 enjoyed.

Visited for coffee and ice cream, they were obviously very busy and the “ older members” of staff displayed a lot of patience but waited over 25 mins in a queue whilst lots of staff appeared to be standing around . We was given a recommendation to attend Farmer Browns for breakfast. It was lovely. Staff very friendly. We also had fresh strawberries and I creams that were amazing. Will definitely be back!!!

We must have visited on a bad day as the breakfast was terrible, one of the worst we have tried locally. Seating and comfort left a heck of a lot to be desired. We'd heard so much about this place but truthfully, we won't be revisiting.

Called in to Farmer Browns with my Wife and Daughter for a ice cream bonanza, result,,,very disappointing, Rum and Raisin with very little Rum flavour, NO raisins, Toffee flavour,,, more like vanilla,, White chocolate,,,,vanilla.....a very disappointing experience.Farmer Brown, are you running out of flavourings and raisins or are you just cutting back?

It's out of the way, but worth travelling to visit, as we found when we got there! A queue out of the door (testament to the quality of the ice cream on offer) soon moved so we could choose. Recommend the fig ripple ice cream: it was absolutely sensational!

The selection of ice cream available in the take away tubs has become very limited in recent visits. They have lots of tubs of very few flavours. The customer service is nowhere near as good as it used to be. I felt like we were an inconvenience and were ignored for quite some time while they finished their conversation before coming over to the counter. We used to recommend Farmer Browns to lots of people but I am reluctant to do so recently.

What a nice place very friendly staff and excellent value from money homemade cakes where very nice plenty for the kids to run wild

We go every month ! Cannot recommend it more . The ice cream is freshly made on the farm with real cows cream . New flavours on rotation every day . Some of the bests are white chocolate , biscoff , vanilla , salted caramel , plain caramel and honeycomb .

Lovely ice cream with a great play area. COVID distancing measures in place in the shop and sanitiser in the play area. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

The main attraction is the farm made ice cream in many flavours - I had liquorice. The cafe also does all sorts of snacks and groceries. There are tractors, etc for children to climb on and slide down, etc.Distancing, etc is applied along with other necessaries nowadays.

I go here regular with my 2 year old. She loves the park area and it’s very spacious.. the ice cream is the best I’ve ever had. Would deffo recommend

We stopped off on our way between Mablethorpe and Chapel St. Leonards for and ice cream. The ice cream was lovely and goid value for money. The problem came when I needed to use the toilet. They had placed a portaloo in the grounds. These are not the nicest things to use normally, but during a pandemic I felt more at risk. Surely the main toilets would be better to open and easier to clean?

We usually visit farmer browns for ice creams but we decided to go and try the breakfasts on Saturday morning. It was lovely! We sat on the benches outside in the sunshine. The staff were polite and friendly and we did not have a long wait for the food. Would highly recommend.

Great place to take the kids for some real diary icecream made by their own cows, it is so tasty and they have so many great flavours! You can even buy tubs to take away.They serve other food as well but I usually just go for the ice cream and to let the nieces burn off some energy in the play ground. In summer time they have a bouncy castle as well.

This is a great place to go for a huge selection of ice creams. They also do good coffee, scones , cakes , cream teas and breakfast. There is a huge childrens play area. The staff are really friendly and fresh farm produce and flowers are for sale. This was our regular morning coffee stop while staying nearby for our holiday.

Have visited several times and always enjoy chosing from the many flavours of ice cream on offer. We love the choc waffle cones. There are plenty of seats both indoors and outdoors to sit and enjoy ones choice. Will pay a further visit next time we are in the area.

First stumbled on Farmer Brown's about two years ago, when i was heading up to Mablethorpe to see my niece.

Look forward to a breakfast here when we’re in our caravan and it’s close enough to pop in for an afternoon ice cream too! Very clean and well kept inside and out - nice to see the cows in the nearby fields.

This family run business is simply a must visit! All of the staff are welcoming and friendly always offering a smile- the home cooked breakfast must be the best value along this part of the coast - as for the ice creams - simply yummy!!! Large area outside and small covered area for dog owners with a large okay area for kids.

Love it here friendly people ,great service, great food family visiting over weekend so we took them here for lunch and they all agreed great place to be we visit here every week love it.

Exceptionally friendly service and nice homemade ice creams and teas, although the prices of the farm produce is WAY over the top compared to that at nearby outlets. The open day in the summer should be AVOIDED if you value health and safety with tractors and trailers moving about. Also, the organisation of events at the open day is truly hopeless.

Been visiting here for several years now. Always 10 out of 10. Food excellent ice cream second to none. I have seen comments recently regarding opening times. If you check their web site it states very clearly when they are open in the latter end of the year.

Visited many times and always find the staff to be friendly and helpful The food is good and a reasonable price. coffee is very good. It has a big play area outside, great for young children. Only complaint was the thousands of wasps. I witnessed a baby get stung and left with my baby grandchildren pretty sharpish.

Three of us arrived today (Tuesday 30th October) at approximately 1pm, looking forward to hot drinks and fabulous ice-cream. They've been highly recommended by the B&B; where we were staying. Unfortunately, contrary to the sign showing opening times, it was closed. We were not the only ones to be turned away. Another car arrived as we were leaving. Not sure that we will visit again as it was a wasted journey today! It's also half-term with lots of families with kids in the area.

The other day we were having a run in the car as it was a lovely sunny day and we were getting ready for that cup of tea. As we wandered along the lane we came across Farmer Browns ice cream. I have passed this place many times but never gave it much attention. Being ready for a cuppa we decided to stop a day try it. Well what a surprise it is lovely and clean seating inside and out and the place serves a wonderful selection of ice creams all made on the premises. In addition they offer drinks homemade cakes and fresh farm veg.

We bought rhubarb ice cream and passion fruit ice cream to take back to caravan. We also bought blackcurrant crumble slice and I have never tasted anything so full of delicious flavour best dessert I've had in a long time

Saw this place on route to Mablethorpe and decided to stop on way back. So glad we did as their ice cream was absolutely delicious. Lots of wonderful flavours to choose from and three different sizes. I had the vanilla and apple and my husband had vanilla and chocolate. Both were suberb in my opinion. You do pay a little more than a regular ice cream van but well worth it as its made from their own milk on sight. Can sit inside or out. They also serve food and their menu looked really appetising. We will try that next time we're passing. The parlour has a small shop which sells local products. We bought some honey which wad also really nice. We would definately call here again and would highly recommend. If you turn left when pulling out, look out for the tablec outside a house filled with homemade jams. I bought a couple of jars and its lovely. Nice to have homemade produce by local people.

The place is friendly and on first impressions all looks very impressive. The ice cream is distinctly average at best, lacking flavour and creaminess (its consistency was good but that was the only positive).
