The food is nasty the price showing something else price is not the same what they show

Always check your change and order. For the price and everything it's not worth it only decent thing about this place open till late extortionate for under cooked food

Not worth the price, women’s toilet closed, men’s toilet disgustingly dirty, staff has no manners, cash only which is super annoying

Their food use to be the best now its probably one of the worst. They dont put the same pride in it the way they did. Got mixed donner paid for large seemed small they put it in a tray i wonder what the small eould have been like. Chicken donner was old so they put extra seasoning on so customers cant tell. The donner was ok not as good as usual. Fries smelt of old oil seems lile they havent changed it for a long time

Foods decent, really busy, especially at night, would recommend as they close at 5am

Good food. Could do with rearranging the seating as have enough space. 14 of us went and had to sit of 3 different tables.

Before Faraz was a very well liked spot by majority of the people within Birmingham. Unfortunately that has changed, and this has resulted in the decline of the food. Fries tasted weird (not the same), rest of the food tasted nice. Staff were taking long and not a lot of service to show.a

Just an average takeaway. Quite a few options to choose from. Spacious seating area for big families. Portions were not good value for money. Staff missed two items from the order.

This was the place to eat in the 90s there customer service is awful the food cold absolutely disgusting only thing good is the chilli sauce. The hygiene is disgusting 🤮 they don’t accept payment via card wth!!

Visited the place as I was in the area. However the place has gone down hill tremendously over the years. Very unfriendly staff serving customers, uncle who owns the place was very rude to the customer in front with his mannerisms and behavior, I couldn’t help but overhear his response to the queries regarding the menu. The staff in the back were vaping whilst cooking the food. Generally very unclean and dirty and messy to sit in and dine. It’s a shame as I remember this as the go to place once upon a time. This is no longer the case, it’s not family friendly either as a family walked in and felt so uncomfortable they walked out. This place is best avoided generally, as a last resort it’s fine for a take out if everything else is closed and you can put up with rude owners and a very dirty food place.

Wanted to phone an order in for collection but Never got to have anything off them because they just don't answer the phone, tried for over an hour and still they didnt answer, not everybody can walk in and stand there waiting for a order due to mobility issues etc. Some people need to call in and collect to make it easier for themselves etc. Very dissapointing.

Spent 6£ on a masala fish n fries. Fish was over cooked and crispy and dry. After I specifically called for it not to be over cooked. Spoke to 3 different staff members. No help. A waste of money

This was my first time trying Faraz fried chicken and firstly they don’t accept cash so my mum had to walk a distance to the pay point to get cash. We ordered 2 steak burger meals and 1 chicken biryani which all came up to 20.00 absolute scam. The burgers were cold and the biryani portion was small. The hygiene in the shop was disgusting as our table was not cleaned even when we asked for it to be cleaned. Never going back to this place

Really bad experience it was my first time going to this place with my family and the burgers were cold and the biryani portion was so small not worth the price absolute scam. The hygiene in this place is very disgusting my sister had really bad stomach ache.

Used this place for decades , recently went in for a meal , i was surprised how good the meal was fresh n almost no grease.

This place needs an upgrade. It's stuck in the 90s, when they last spent money on it. Place isn't clean at all. They still have the covid screens, I mean what? Only saving grace, the cheeseburger is still decent. Not even sure about hygiene levels behind the screens.

Got hassled by a homeless guy for change. The wings were not fresh and the chips were greasy and soft. To top it all my doner had a hair in it!

Food was not that nice & the place does not have clean facilities. Nothing like it was many years ago. Dont think I will be going back.

Food was awful. The guy had terrible communication skills. He didn’t even understand what I was saying when I repeated my words 10 times. The place is unclean and atmosphere wise it was genuinely dead. Never coming back here again!

Trash food, not even good. Also overpriced and dirty place. Not even cleaned regularly. Toilets don't work and the customer service is awful.

Food is average but the one thing that makes this place stand out is that it’s open very late

In night shift when people ask something or you want to ask for something, they answer you very disrespectfully,I don’t recommend it.

This has been running for ages now. I started eating faraz since last year and it's one of the go to fast food for me. I always go. Prices have now become very expensive but the quality and the quantity makes me still go just not as much as before.

This is a tired place in need of renovation. They have done a mini resto but not to today's standards. This place has been around for a long time but nothing has really changed in a good way. The food isn't what it used to be but the chicken nuggets are still fresh and taste good.

I asked for extra sauce but it didn't go down well with me. They don't know how to deal with customers.

I got the donner and naan. It was really nice because they made the donner and bread fresh and homemade. I also got the kebab and they were really nice and meaty. The bread was really soft and fluffy and the donner wasn't too greasy. The tables and the floor were dirty though and the bathrooms didn't work so I had to go to the men's one but it's fine. They sell a lot of different things so I will rate their food a solid 5👌

Ordered meat balti and biryani. Both have too much salt in it. Rice were way overcooked. If you're looking for a nice desi cuisine. This is surely not the place for it

It's decent, my family order here sometimes. Price is understandable and there is always space to sit down. Receiving orders can take 5 minutes to 20 mins. Overall its not a bad place

Dirty tables never cleaned for customers so imagine what type of people are preparing your food in the kitchen. Disgusting toilets never cleaned, put hand soap in a cup for sharing, very unhygienic. ( see my photos ) Management have no respect for customers to put out a sealed handwash bottle. Disgusting place do not eat here, Management do not respect your custom so why give them your money,

Best bang for buck food. Always consistent. Can't go wrong. Does what it says on the tin

Guys I’m literally in tears as I’m typing this review, My Lord what has happened to this place, the 25 year history I physically can’t lower the stars below 3 because of my childhood. Man i remember as a kid my dad driving me to Faraz, and being mesmerised by the small chilie tubs and the fries and the fish burger. Now going back after what seems like 4 years ago, time has gone by and the place looks worn, battered, empty, soulless, I literally went back into my car and started crying in the car, couldn’t help myself to make an order. My son was worried why i was crying, I told him ‘my childhood has disappeared’ i wish I hadn’t had returned and I don’t want them to go out of business.

I've been coming here since they first opened, everything that was good about the place is no longer true. they don't use quality fries like before, now have the cheap disgusting twig like fries you get from all the fake UK fried chicken and Iranian pizza shops. not only that, but my fries were recooked and were just rock hard hollow twigs of oil. completely inedible. uncle if you can't even get a decent portion of fries out after 25+yrs you need to retire and sell the shop, enjoy the time you got left instead of selling thruck. it's no wander new places are taking over your business. how much money would you have lost by throwing away leftover fries?? 10p?? 15p 20p?? is it worth losing customers over 15p worth of the cheapest fries in wholesale??? absolutely 0 effort for quality. still charging premium prices but they don't even sell real coke anymore, real coke is necessary for alot of people, that's why it's the best selling soft drink in the world. Pepsi is not same my doner meat was also extremely greasy and cold, was dripping all over my hands. the best thing about the meal was the tomato slice on my burger. while the world moves forward, these lot are going backwards. seriously, nowadays someone will pay good money for your shop, sell the shop, go home.

DONT GO TO THESE THEIFS- I ORDERED XL DONER MEAT AND ALSO SAID DONT GIVE NAN GIVE BIT EXTRA PAID £6.00 BUT THEY GAVE ME THIS MUCH FOR XL (ALSO CONSIDERIMG APPARENTLY EXTRA FOR THE NAN , SIMPLY THEIFS. I HAVE HAD FROM HERE BEOFRE AND PORTION DID REFLECT XL COUPLE WEEKS BEFORE BUT NOW THEY THEIF YOU OUT OF MONEY

Donner kebab is really nice. If going for the family size donner I would recommend getting to normal naans instead of the one big naan.

Back in the days it was good now its a big let down

Cleaning countertop with dirty cloth and pushing salad back in its pot. Wanted salad but after seeing that NO SALAD.

What can I say? This is a small heath classic. If you haven't eaten from here you are missing out. Don't take my word for it. Go down and try it out. Highly recommend their Cheese burgers and Nuggets.

Poor service poor food needs refurbishment

I know prices are gone up everywhere but yesterday I spent over £23 which isn't bad. Normally when we buy food from Faraz it's really good quality food but yesterday we we're really disappointed the fries were really oily even though we paid extra we got all the same chicken pieces. The £4 donner didn't taste good and it was so little it was like in the medium box but less than half spreaded out my family who always go there we're shocked. It's disgusting because when my dad husband or brothers go they get better food/service. They didn't even give me tissue It's shameful and ashame that I won't be going there again. Always check your food in the shop when you have a takeout.

Visited on the other night as they claimed that they have been in this business for a long time. Also from the outside it looks one of biggest take away fish and chips on the Coventry road. Prices are reasonable that's why there's a que to be waited for being serve. Food taste is okay just need to upgrade their services method and more tidy up the store

Haven't been here for over 20 years, however the food was nice and big portion but the service can be better. Chilli sauce was🔥🔥. Will I visit again? YESSSS

Absolutely awful experience.. they simply can’t get a very very simple order right. Also the language by the short fat guy with a white beard in front of a small child of another customer was pathetic.

Ive been coming to this place for over 30 years. The hygeine isnt great. I only ever get the cheese burger meal. Recently theyve started to mass grill the cheeseburgers and warm up when a customers puts an order in. This is very lazy of them and the pre grilled burgers end up smelling really bad. You have to ask them to make it "fresh from frozen"... wouldnt reccomend for families to eat in as its fairly dirty. Lots of unsavoury characters late at night.

Purchased a doner kebab. Faraz have changed their doner kebab supplier. The doner kebab was extremely greasy, as seen in the photos, I arrived home and the fat had hardened inside the wrapper and the box, and even outside the wrapper 🤣. These guys are also quite rude at the till. They don’t thank you, they just take your money and grunt at you to take your order slip. To eat the kebab was not a v nice experience. It is a shame actually, because it was so greasy. A wasted trip. The saddest thing is, that Faraz’s doner kebab used to be actually very nice. Not any more. Faraz, guys stop cheating customers making cutbacks because your finding it difficult to pay your bills, with cheap ‘kebab’ doner. Buy some quality meat. And be nice and kind to the customers, after all we’re paying your salaries and taxes.

There's a reason Faraz has been around for ages. They provide good fast food. They are quick to take and deal with your orders. Again (for the millionth time in small heath) catering staff are bizarre, and will stare and survey you like a zoo animal. Don't take it personally, it's just small heath. 4/5

Stumbled across this place at 4am on a Sunday morning, the food was okay nothing special however the prices where extortion. Alongside other things we ordered a donner kebab which only had literally 3 cuts on it, very disappointed!

Terrible. Ordered lamb biryani for £7 and they gave me half a container, it was disgusting and mostly bones. I also ordered a chicken doner, they gave me doner meat. Poor customer service. I advise never to visit this place. EXPECT DISSATISFACTION, DISSAPOINTMENT AND DISASTER!!!

I've been a kebab lover from the day I've tasted my first kebab. Those who know me know I love my donner kebab. This is the best donner kebab house in town and country. Absolutely delicious and there southern fried chicken is amazing too . They never fail to impress and constancy and always there my favourite food place.

Classic southern fried chicken shop that has been at the heart of the area for a good number of years. I would reccomend the fried chicken and chips as its a signiture of the shop. A bad point would be that the store itself isn't very clean or hygienic. They also only take cash in this store which is the norm considering over half the shops in this road only take cash. However, the food itself is surprisingly good and I would definitely reccomend for some cheap tasty fast food.

Fat rude man behind counter had a fight with fellow worker in front of customers...ugly scene...very embarrassing. New monkeys employed....poor service and repeatedly wrong orders. Day shift far better than evening lot.

I went late afternoon and the shop wasn't busy. I ordered 2 piece chicken and fries, cheeseburger and donner and fries. The chicken was dry like cardboard the donner meat was dry around the edges and the cheeseburger was overcooked. I asked them why they gave an old dry piece of chicken and they all gathered to take a look at it like it was alive and laying eggs, no salad with the donner and fries, the cheeseburger was pre cooked and warmed up on order and the donner was cut from and left in a warm tray. The staff don't answer back when asked about the poor quality food they serve. I would definitely stay away from this place.

Chicken nuggets where good, not to happy with the burger, as it tasted as it was reheated and served again, burger was chew, burger prep area was unclean, as they where using a cloth to push salad back to pot, already filled with salad, My mate had a upset stomach after eating the burger!

Best fast food on Coventry Road. Been coming here for years and this place never fails. The Donner meat is very nice and meaty. The cheese burger is perfect and the salad is also fresh. Chicken Nuggets and fries are also a must try.

Definitely you don't know the difference between a juice and a soda, you made me repeat the word "juice" 4 time like you never heard about it, you also acted like I'm a dumb because I ordered "only one meal" like u said, then you gave me a soda, I didn't looked cause I thought you finally understood but no, it was a soda. I hate sparkling drinks more than dumb persons, so I threw it on the sidewalk. But I put 2 stars cause the food is ok, the staff is good too, only one black sheep ...

Went here last night as I’m originally from Derbyshire, I’ve been at wasall for the weekend and decided to stop by somewhere different so me and the lads came to Birmingham to try something else as I’ve tried most places as well but I ordered an veggie burger didn’t know if it was properly cooked but I came home last night and was up around 3am feeling sick, vomiting continuously and my stomach was hurting alot it’s believed that I received some type of food poisoning. Please make sure food is cooked properly next time and is fresh don’t think I’ll be visiting again anytime soon
