Been going to far pavilion for years. Dining in and take out are both excellent. If you fancy something on the hot side I'd recommend the raipura dish. The kebabs are also spot on aswell. My fiancee loves the tikka masala as its more savoury than sweet as most Indian restaurants serve it too sweet. Decent kingfisher lager on tap to wash down a great curry!

Called to order takeaway for the first time and they said 30 minutes for 2 mains and 2 rice. I called and waited in their carpark. There was basically no one in the restaurant sat at tables. Went after 30 mins to collect and pay and they had my order there written down with total price and had only put 1 rice on order. So I said that I ordered two rice's. He amended and I knew he was over charging and I said can you add that all up again and he made some excuse and blamed another worker for the mistake of overcharging. I was told on the phone of 10% discount if paid in cash... i didn't get that either. After paying, he then said one of the dishes we ordered was taken with another takeaway, and we would have to wait a further 10 minutes. Finally it came and when we got home there was only 1 rice dish. So I called them and they just said sorry plz come back. To add to all this. The food was tasteless and perhaps the worst Indian food I've eaten. We left half of it. So to sum up; they made us wait 40, then overcharged us, to then give less than what we paid for and ordered, to serve the worst food an Indian has ever cooked for me. My English mother cooks Indian 10 times better. DONT GO! Is my advice. I will never go again. EVER!

Great place, food was excellent, and staff amazingly polite, helpful, and professional. The food was delicious and a good choice of vegetarian food to choose from and very tasty. the price was spot on. Definitely go again. Recommend highly to go and visit

Well ther was 14 of us and we waited 2hours nearly for the food hence the 4 stars one person had to leave so ended up 13 of us, apart from that spot on!! Maybe we should have pre-ordered but then again it can probably seat 40+ and we did book in advance x

Had a lovely meal here after a long drive & soggy wet & cold arrival in Morecambe. Food was very fresh & the best onion bhaji ever. Staff attentive & the cocktails were really good too.

Extensive Indian menu all cooked to order - give yourselves at least 90 minutes if you’re going to have starters and mains. They appear to no longer sell alcohol but I think you can now bring your own although I’ve no idea if they charge for corkage.

Food was great, staff were lovely, great atmosphere aswell. As a solo traveller looking for a nice curry, couldn’t have asked for anymore. Thankyou to all 👌

Disappointed with my order. Prices have significantly increased so I expected good food, however the quality of food I found mediocre and the portions were small. food needed reheating. I shall not be ordering from here again.

Very nice restraunt, the waiters were good, shown to our table, ordered drinks, then a waiter came and took our order and as it was very busy the may take a little longer than usual. An hour and a half later, our food finally arrived. The food was delicious, but the portions weren't very big, and the Pershwari Naan bread was 1 of the smallest with no almonds in and a bit of coconut paste only inside it. Overall, we were very disappointed, although the food was very tasty, just small portions and a very long wait.

Very quiet when we went on a Monday night, but that's Monday nights for you! I had a Roshimoto (?) which is basically a garlic lovers dream. Super fragrant with a proper punch you want in a curry like that. Service is great and attentive. Only qualm is the price of a lime and soda, (tiny bottle of soda in a tiny glass, would much prefer a pint of) but that's splitting hairs. Less than £30 a person for two drinks, poppadoms, main, side, rice and side tray including tip. Great value. Will definitely be back on a weekend.

Arrived at 625pm ordered food .After 2hrs no mains. Starter was good. Restaurant was cold. Overall poor. Disappointed. More emphasis on takeout than diners.

Very slow service, freezing cold restaurant, tasteless food & challenging parking. The emphasis was on takeaway orders rather than restaurant goers. All 4 tables in our area had been there for an hour an a half and only been served a starter. One table left in disgust without waiting for their main meal. We won't be back.

Great food but quite slow service.

Ordered on Morecambe eats, received 1 spoon of sauce with 3 chunks of rubbery chicken in a paper tray that had disintegrated and absorbed all the sauce. Mixed tandoori starter consisted of 1 small piece of chicken, lamb and seekh, the world’s thinnest lamb chop and a burnt wing from a new born chicken. Avoid this place like the plague.

Food was amazing. The staff were excellent and it was very clean ..highly recommended.

Found this place by chance while on a drive out. Certainly very pleased we went in. The food was delicious and well priced. Service was amicable

I stopped going here some 2 years ago, I stopped because of the quality of the food. I decided to give it another try and was so disappointed, the madras curry sauce was very oily and the chicken was as tough as old boots, I couldn't eat it and threw it away. The rice was good as was the nan bread. Shall NOT be going there again.

After having had a succession of mediocre to poor meals from far Pavilion over the last 18 months, I felt compelled to write this review. Partly out of disappointment; as this used to be by far the best Indian restaurant in the whole area. However, since Covid, and particularly over the last two years, the quality of the food has dropped considerably, while the prices have continued to increase. (This is now one of the most expensive takeaway options in the area) Around two years ago, for some reason (perhaps a change of chef?), they started to change the flavour of their dishes - which have become steadily more bland and tasteless. To the point where a lot of dishes now just seem to taste the same. Unfortunately, the quantity and quality of the meat in the dishes has also really dropped. For example, where you used to get nice chunks of chicken breast we had a chicken balti the other night, which was literally tiny strips of chicken with sauce – and that was it! Another favourite dish used to be the lamb Rogan Josh. Where the lamb used be lovely and tender, of late it’s been tough, undercooked and fatty. Such a disappointment to write this review as this used to be such a good restaurant! We won’t be hurrying back now unfortunately, which is a real shame…

Excellent food, will definitely be back

I got a lamb tikka balti with garlic naan, 3 poppadoms, and mango chutney. The balti was tasty, but it was very oily, and some of the lamb was grisly. The garlic naan was OK, but a little under cooked. Poppadoms were great, as was the chutney. Better than the sultan, but not as good as cafe masala. 3 out of 5 from me.

Lots to choose on the menu to suit any level of heat including vegetarian options. Reasonable prices any the food was tasty and despite being a group of 10 we weren't kept waiting ages for it to arrive.

Without doubt the worst Indian food I’ve ever experienced in over 60 years. Disgusting masala sauce. Chicken leg instead of breast meat and lousy portions. It living in its past. Would give it no stars if I could.

Excellent food, friendly staff. We had to wait quite a long time for the main course but we were a large party, the place was a busy Saturday evening and the food was worth the wait.

Great family meal. We all had Chicken Tikka Masala with rice. Chutney tray and poppadoms. And Shik Kebab. Food was hot served nicely. My kids curry had a smiley face on it which amused them. An they got free ice cream for desert.

Have eaten from here many times and it’s always been fabulous. We ordered a take away yesterday and the food was very poor! The naan bread was plain and it was supposed to be a chill naan. It also looked bought in rather than made on the premises. The madras curry was like soup with a very small amount of chicken in it. The flavour of lemon was over powering and ruined the dish. I called them to complain and all I got was a very dismissive “you are the only one to complain today” He talked over me while I was trying to explain and continued to talk to others in the restaurant while on the call. They did offer me a replacement but that wasn’t the reason for my call and I politely declined. It’s not always about the issue but how you put the issue right. They failed on both counts!

Enjoyed our meal the food was fantastic will definitely go again.

Absolutely fantastic place. Food is the best and the service is impeccable! We are staying locally for a week and can't praise this place enough. The young man that welcomed us and helped with our order was so polite, courteous and kind. I honestly can't praise this place enough. Well worth a visit. Shame we can't take the restaurant with us back to Brighton.

Stunning atmosphere, beautiful food and five star service. Every member of the team was lovely and friendly. Sam was a wonderful host with amazing attentiveness to everyone in the restaurant..will recommend this place to everyone. Ps the lemon cello is unbelievably tasty!

They found us a table without prep booking for 17 people. Food was delicious. There was a couple of mixups with the order, but they apologised straight away and it was sorted out. The chairs were a bit rocky (could do with an update) but that didn't distract from our experience.

I have the special mixed biryani. It was one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten. Gorgeous. Staff are lovely too. Kingfisher beer is beautiful, and I'm a bitter drinker!!

20 mins late. Popadoms came shattered. Spent £1.50 on a ‘chutney tray’ and got the tiniest tub of mango chutney (see pic). My girlfriend ordered a peshwari naan and couldn’t tell difference from a plain naan. Lack of meat in both curries. And costs more than our usual takeaway

Been here twice before for takeaway and it’s been the best I’ve ever had. So good that I’ve been driving a two hour round trip to get it. Went yesterday and unfortunately it was absolutely nowhere near the quality I’ve had before. I messaged them and asked why and has they changed chef. Response was the chef “might” have changed and they’d had a very busy bank holiday weekend (I called at 4pm which is when they open). They also said the next time I go I should ask for Hamid who will make sure its better. I replied thankyou but I won’t be coming again as any restaurant/takeaway is only as good as it’s last meal. We all know this place isn’t cheap which is why I won’t risk wasting my money again. I think they’re running on their past reputation and not the present.

Nice enough until the main course that was warm at the very most. It was a chicken korma both my wife and i had it. And both were practically cold.Didn't make a song and dance about it. You never know how it would come back. I'm afraid I won't be returning

The food was tasty and the set menu is well priced. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The lamb dish I had was nice but the lamb did taste a little like it was re-heated roast lamb. I wouldn't rave about it but I wouldn't say it was bad either, I have had much worse Indian food. I would go back again if I was in the area. Overall good 🙂

Visited her tonight for the first time whilst on a Easter break in Carnforth. Was able to get a table same day for 6 people and the food, decor and service was superb. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. They also serve cobra on draught which is a bonus. Highly recommend to anyone!

Well where to start 😂 booked a table for 7:30 arrived to restaurant bang on time all tables were full.... We waited in a very cramped takeaway area for about 45 mins before we were seated, then the fun bit we waited a whopping 1 and a half hours for our food to arrive ( no doubt they do this purposely to flog their overpriced drinks at you) finally it came.. Portions were OK and food itself is just a bit better than what you get at any other resteraunt and that's why they get 3stars, they need to rethink how they treat their dine in customers as they prioritise the takeaways, overall I'm greatly dissatisfied as it apparently got a "best in Britain" award as they have it plastered on their signage. I had high hopes and immediately I regretted it, then the bill came 😂. I would advise anyone thinking of going to consider a takeaway, massively overrated.

Used to be a regular Friday night takeaway and best Indian around, went the other night and absolute filth! Onion bhajis were raw in middle with a taste and smell of bleach, very little lamb in the rogan josh and it was more fat than meat and very chewy. Won't be going again not cheap and gone right down hill. More went in the bin than in me.

Second time we’ve tried the takeaway and it wasn’t great the first time but that will be the last time We ever go here

Now that is a good Indian restaurant! Pleasant waiter, good food... Did wonder why he sat me in such an uncomfortable place - then realised it had the best view of the world cup playing on TV (Sound nearly off so it didn't bother my wife) Now that is good service!

Not good at all! I’ve not been for a while and thought I’ve give it a go. Popadoms cooked in microwave, which is ok and healthier but they weren’t cooked. Nan bread was pale and soggy.my main meal was Lamb but I think it was to old to be called lamb and what there was of it was very fatty. Not going again. 🤔

Really good food, but the drinks could’ve had more ice, and the coke would’ve been better if it were chilled.

Ordered on line , delivered by a very delightful smart young man , the young boxer man who works in the restaurant . The meal was delicious and hot . Thankyou very much x

Tried Far Pavilion for the first time this evening, and drove up to collect takeaway from Morecambe. Ordered online through Food Hub, but rang to change the main dish as was concerned that the Ceylon curry would be too hot for my OH. This wasn't a problem, and was sorted out with no fuss. Food was plentiful, tasty and good VFM. Will definitely order from there again for takeaway, as the Home Alone For One meal deal is enough for 2 people or 2 servings. I added Onion Bhajis to the order and they were also really good VFM. I've eaten plenty of curries in Bradford, which are hard to beat, but was well satisfied with Far Pavilion.

We booked a table for my Partner's birthday. We were glad we did because it was busy,with the remaining tables filling up soon after. We were greeted at the door with beaming smiles and shown to our table. Our food was delicious, served quickly and efficiently and we were served with courtesy throughout. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience and we look forward to returning.

Average and very expensive Indian food. Lots of staff that continually ask if you like the food.

We rang to book a table, said they were very busy and there would be a wait for the food. They said we could have a pickle tray while we waited. Food was very tasty and the menu offered a good variety of starters, mains and drinks. When we paid we felt full of nice food but we had lots of extras added on to the bill. Pickle tray £6.50 which we thought was complimentary and a added charge to take a way food £2. So 2 starters, 2 curries and 2 drinks £72 Parking was a bit of an issue. There is parking available on site but the bays are shallow and tight. They get a lot of customers collecting take a ways so I was a bit concerned about that as I also saw a sign that said they do not except responsibility for accidents in the carpark. Don't know if this is a regular problem

If I could leave zero stars I would, absolutely shocking service waited over 1.5 hours to be served our meal. Not even an apology nor a sorry or asked how our meal was. Food was JUST average . Spoke to a very rude member of staff regarding the situation to be told we are very busy you are lucky to even be getting a table and laughed at us . Said you should have booked and you would be served sooner. Paid the bill walked out the door to be followed by the same member of staff called me, my pregnant wife and my son a TW@T . AVOID AT ALL COST WE WILL NEVER RETURN HERE

Excellent food, excellent service, good prices. Delicious dishes, all distinct ( unlike some Indian restaurant food where one dish is very much like another.) I'm so lucky to be a 5 min walk away.

I used the Far Pavilion app this evening ordering a meal to be delivered for about 6 00 pm 6 45 came around no meal. Rang to chase as nothing mentioned on app and was told they had no delivery . Advised I'd had a drink and unable to collect. Was told earliest delivery 1 hour. Waited over 1 hour food still not arrived rang again and was told problem with delivery and no idea how long for delivery. They never got in touch to advise of problem. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN EITHER DELIVERY OR GOING IN RESTAURANT
