Have only recently visited Familia - have now popped in twice and food and service have been great. Lovely decor and menu. Also very handy that you can park at the door. Whilst the inside is not dog friendly there are some tables and chairs outside and our pooch got a very warm welcome when we visited today!

We visited La Familia cafe in Renfrew for lunch. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Familia has a good lunch menu for a cafe. There is an extensive choice including baked potatoes, toasties, paninis, salads and cakes. Service was prompt and our food was freshly made. Refreshments were hot drinks or soft drinks. The tasty food was well presented on the cafe's blue plates and the portions were substantial. The staff were friendly and efficient, the toilets were clean and the cafe has a small adjacent car park. Definitely recommended as a great place for lunch at reasonable prices. Worth a visit.

First time in Familia, although I had passed it many times, and I must say I wish we had popped in sooner. Lovely venue, modern yet cozy. Elaine and the staff were all very friendly even letting my daughter choose her own empire biscuit. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back soon.

Lovely little coffee shop with a nice gift shop incorporated in also. Decor is nice and staff were exceptionally friendly. We only went in for a coffee but when the specials were announced we decided to have lunch - creamy mushrooms on garlic bread, and lentil soup. Both meals were tasty, portion sizes were good and meals were reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

Noticed an article about “familia” on social media and as we were in the area thought we would give it a try…well, it was lunchtime! Warmly welcomed, shown to a Table and handed a menu. Not a big menu, but covered all the basics of Toasties, Baked Potatoes and Salads with a variety of fillings. Soup of the day was Roasted Red Pepper and Pesto, so we both decided on that with a toastie to accompany it. Soup was delicious and the toasties were well filled and accompanied with a side salad, Tortillas and a small salsa dip, which was a lovely addition! Service was A1, both friendly and efficient and, I confess, we had a cake too!! 🫣. Highly recommended! ( they offer Afternoon Tea and do special Dinner nights too!)

Popped in when famished. Ordered roll square sausage (obvs) egg and tattle scone. It was perfect . Efficient effective service. Recommended

It is run by volunteers helping to raise money for the church. It could be called a hidden gem as not that many people know about it, with a wide selection to choose from it is very good value for money.

What to say about the Junction...good food, service location. The ambience though? Great if you're a local. Otherwise it's like being almost politely tolerated in a private club. Why? Victim of their success. No competition and most tables booked by 10.30. Because they can. Shame. Didn't used to feel like that.
